Had a chance to see a bunch of the line in person at Tabletop Games in Overland Park, KS. (Which is, interestingly enough, not listed on the store locator, so not exactly high marks for supporting your retailers if they're officially stocking your product)

The vehicles look excellent in person, and if I were playing any game at all where I thought I might fit them in, they'd be in the collection.

The troopers, though, look just as stiff and emotionless in hand as they do in the zoomed-in renders. To be fair, it's nice to have a source for Autons if you're playing a Doctor Who minis game in some odd Deadlands-esque world.

I like the "feel" of this game, seems wild west with a hint of maybe Borderlands or something.

I've seen some of the minis in real life, they look decent in my opinion. Personally I've been wanting to find a game in the Wild West genre, I feel that it's not been well- enough represented.

An interesting tidbit on how they set pricing:

Unread postby Outlaw » Sun May 04, 2014 1:19 pm

All the pricing guys is based on the amount of models you will need in the posse. That is what is fractured first. Then is the raw volume of resin. All of our pricing is based on this scale. Value in an army + resin amount = price.

Less models needed in a faction means higher price for those models to balance out armies in the game. If Holy Order cost the same as everyone else but needed half the minis to play why would anyone play anything else?

Some interesting sculpts on display here.

I'm looking over my collection, and I'm noticing a distinct lack of melee weapon wielding presidential figures. I think I might need to rectify that soon...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

That's who it was reminding me of! I couldn't figure it out last night!

The question is then, does one's collection need more than one Daniel Day Lewis figure (if we count his role as Lincoln)?

I think they could convincingly do a DDL model for like, every faction in the game!

Union - Lincoln
Outlaws - Boxer/Bill the Butcher (it's also important to not that DDL was in a movie titled "The Boxer" as well )

Obviously for your Warrior Nation you have:

For your Enlightened you go with:

He actually hasn't done a movie that would fit well with the Lawmen.

And for your Holy Order he's John Proctor from the Crucible.

OVERBOSS SHERIFF ALPHA here with some news and rumors...

There's a Kickstarter campaign looming on the horizon!

Set to introduce 4 new factions!

Unfinished Business, Wild West Exodus Upcoming Kickstarter

Postby Outlaw_Sean » Fri Oct 24, 2014 1:02 pm
So, some of you have heard we are doing a second Kickstarter and will be releasing 4 new factions for the game.
These are all ones that you know about already if you follow the forums:
-Confederate Rebellion
-Dark Nation
-Golden Army
-The Watchers

We originally had not planned to do another Kickstarter, but the community has asked and pushed enough via Facebook, Twitter, E-mail and in person for the rest of the factions that we feel this is the best way to go about it.
The plan for the Kickstarter is that there will be simple pledge levels such as:
-Single "Starter"
-Two "Starters"
-Four "Starters"
-Four "Starters" + Create Your Own Model

Starters in the Kickstarter will not be limited to what is currently in a stock Starter box, but we will refer to them as such to keep it easy. There will be no modifiers to the contents of each starters, but there will be purchasable add-ons and there will be stretch goals that add models to the overall contents of each starter box.

There will be releases for all 10 factions coming out during the Kickstarter, but the original 6 factions' releases will only be part of add-on stretch goals. There will be no pledges containing the original 6 factions.

What about retailers?
We will give all retailers the ability to pre-order product from us and we will add that into the production queue but we will not charge the retailer for the product until it is shipped.

Expected Times?
The Kickstarter is planned to begin March 1st and run through March 30th 2015. Estimated Delivery Date of the Kickstarter is March 1st 2016 for all regions.

Good news to our Lawmen players. We had playtested this and we hadn't yet confirmed it until we did just a little bit more playtesting.
In the story, the way that they get the CCLE-K9 bots is due to their allegiance with the Lawmen, and they take on jobs with a few less than trustworthy people, so officially the Copelie sisters are Lawmen/Outlaw allegiance.

So Romeo touted in a number of venues that they were against doing multiple kickstarters because it is unfair to their LGS retailers and that kickstarter should be for new ventures only.

It looks like that tune has changed when business has slowed down...

I think that they've just realized that this might be the best way to keep things moving forward, establish a bigger player base, get some momentum, etc.

I don't have a problem with it - Real Life often forces things to change!

This game is a niche within a niche - and so anything that can help get new stuff out there and grow the game is OK with me.

High corset + the way she is standing leaning back, shoulders and arms pulled back while lower part is slightly forward with her tilting her head forward and down. It makes it look higher on her body given the angle. While her sister has a lower corset and is leaning more forward with arms held out in front.

Lots of new stuff going on in WWX land, though it is strangely hard to find out about it!

Two new armies!

The Watchers (aliens!) and The Golden Army!

Weren't all the hired hands or whatever the grunt fodder called all in hard plastic as well?

New sprues of aliens have a lot of use on the tabletop...

Still need to get a Bill the Butcher figure and a few of those shapeshifting warrior nation guys.

The 'Hired Hands' for the existing factions were definitely in 'hard plastic'.

No idea if the Watchers, HoM and Golden Army will be getting the same treatment, but I'd think so!
