Ordering from the UK is pretty straightforward. Much easier than getting stuff sent in. And the postage is miles cheaper than US postage these days, too!

I can attest this. I get things shipped from the UK all the time. The shipping rates are usually very reasonable and the orders tend to arrive rather quikly. The US on the other hand... Let's just say that I'll only buy from the States if a low flat shipping rate is offered or if the discount on the minis is significant enough to balance out the insanely high rates.

Don't let international postage discourage you! If you dig around you can usually even find a retailer that offers free shipping worldwide if you spend over $50 or some such.

I love how much room there is in both the HEL and Nova cannons. It's perfect for LEDs.

Got my two 15mm Crusaders and just want to confirm that I don't have to do anything else or inform anyone officially in order to eventually get the matching capacitor coolers and sword arms?

Seems to be the consensus, although you can't be hurt by send WGF an email. Not everyone is on Dakka, as surprising as that might be, so they probably expect them.

Oh well. Got my grasping card from the Royal Mail today. £12.02 in customs charges and a further £8 in "Handling fee" despite the fact that they don't have to do any extra work than if it'd been posted in the UK with insufficient postage. If that had been the case, I'd have had to pay the remaining postage and a single £1 handling fee! Moneygrabbing gits the RM!

So although I am now excited that I'll get my H.E.Ls and cannon on Monday, I would like to ask Mark if it's possible that for future KS projects, can he get the EU consignments delivered in bulk to somewhere within the EU and charge a higher postage to the pledgers. I would not mind that as it probably works out cheaper in the long run and saves me a load of hassle and grief dealing with the RM and UK customs.

I believe that CMoN did that with their season 2 Zombicide release.

It may mean no customs charges,

but it does cause a whole lot of grief as their EU based re-shippers have been doing a terrible job, very, very slowly

(although if Dreamforge could find a fast, reliable re-shipper....)

Im putting together the mini Leviathan and noticed that its not much bigger than my ork dread maybe a inch taller. Also my wraith lord is almost same height if you count the back veins on it. if I could put up a picture I would.
On the arms I have 3 screws out of four but had an extra from putting the big leviathan together and that worked.

OK, so my 4 arms turned up today. As expected, there was only one set of armour in them.

So, I thought, as it is only the armour - which can be put on after everything else has been painted and assembled - and I will be getting a large parcel for wave 3, would it not be possible to put a marker on my account to include the missing armours in my wave 3 delivery? If enough people are willing to do that, it could save a significant delivery cost.

And Wow. Just Wow! Looking forward to seeing the new stuff as the commitment to quality is evident in all the things I have had so fat, I shudder to think what the quality of the stuff to come will be.

Mark, any chance of an after-market 'proper' engine on the APCs, not just a plate with the top of one moulded in - or are you going down that route anyway?

I guess it's fine by me, but I didn't order any wave three stuff.

Argh, you guys keep bumping this thread and talking about getting your stuff, but not one of you has posted a completed Mortis, 15mm Leviathan, or the full sized one with the new weapons! Come on people!

Another slight jar. Built one of my Beowulf/Grendels last night. Parts A1 and A2 in the instructions should be labelled the other way round going by what is on the frames. That's no biggie, but I thought it could have been made a little clearer that the rack in the back gets trapped between them. I ended up having to unglue them slightly so I could get those parts in there. That's a mistake I won't be making on the other.

And they are BIG! The Beowulf is slightly longer than the Vulkan cannon, the Grendel is considerably so. A leviathan armed with two of those is going to be a frightening seige engine. I presume the Beowulf, being the shorter, will deal more damage but be somewhat less accurate with the grendel having less punch but being more likely to hit or having a greater range.

H.E.L. cannon is great, no problems at all so far.

I realise that only people with items in stage 3 can help Mark out by allowing the delay of the shipping of their missing armour pieces, and not all of them may want to. But I don't mind. Also, although I am technically due 4 sets, I don't mind only getting 2 either. As I can build one of my B/G and one H.E.L. Cannon with the armour already supplied and only need the other armour for the other one of each.

Sorry, no Mortis here. And I'd have the Nova Cannons to show as well, but I'm waiting on batteries for the LED kits before I assemble them.

And note the Mad Robot Miniatures torso and heads on the gunners as well...

And there's plenty of space for the LEDs in the guns and I'll be adding them to the torso as soon as my battery order gets in. For the big guy, I'll be adding a general cockpit glow, and I'm going to attempt to use fiber optics to make the tiny cockpit camera a small searchlight. If I can find a way to drill it properly, I'll do the same to the cameras above the chest guns.

And looks like I spoke too soon on the H.E.L. Stage 3, parts A9 & A10 on the instruction sheet are in fact A11 & A12 with parts A11 & A12 on the instruction sheet actually being A9 & A10. Possibly stage 6 parts A4 and A5 being transposed too. In the instructions it looks like the surface detail on the ends of these parts tilts back where as mine tilt forward. (Edit: My eyes are playing tricks on me. After building my second last night, I went back to the first to look into correcting A4 and A5, but they were correct anyway.)

Other than those miniscule details in the instructions, both H.E.L.s and Beowulf/Grendel units are up to mark's usual amazing standard. The long-range firepower afforded by those seige guns, the look of the H.E.L.s, I can't wait to re-undercoat the Leviathanat the weekend and get some serious progress made here. I might even get it worked on before I receive my stage 3 goodies!

How far back are others putting the ammo box on their Beowulf/Grendels? Do you have it flush with the back of A1/A2, or pushed as far forward as possible?

@conrad, I'm going as far back with the ammo hopper as possible to help counterbalance the gun barrels.

Me too.

I'm done with the Nova Cannon and Ripper Saw. My fiancee just walked past my mancave's door and saw me changing the arms around and she said she stood corrected. I do not play with toy soldiers, I have "disguised dolls" and I secretly play dress-up.

Is that a 15mm sword on that Leviathan?

Or is the missing sword a different sword?

That's the flat tipped sword which comes with the Crusader kit (both big and small Crusaders). The missing sword is the pointy tipped Excalibur sword.

Thanks for the replies on the B/G magazines. That's what I was thinking, and after all the difference in position would not have beem much, but it does affect some of the surface detail near the underside.

I've edited my previous post as when I built my second H.E.L. last night, I checked A4 and A5 were correct, then went back to the first to correct that one, only to find it already was. My eyes must have been playing tricks on me.

And I can't get over how crazy-big those Grendels are. Mark, you are my kind of guy! Leviathan Crusader is 8-9" tall, Grendel cannon is over 10" long which works out to a 50' weapon. Now if only there was an add-on for shoulder-mounted missile launchers, you'd make some Robotech/Battletech fans very happy indeed!
