My most recent Keilerkopf and Odin/Loki and Thor sets were direct from Dreamforge's own store/site

It's credited to Scott Robinson so I'd say no, but looks very similar, but could just be another futuristic Hanomag.

TBH, I'm not seeing much Hanomag in Scott's design. It's an interesting, independent amalgam of various design influences.

Not a bad price.

Sadly, it's on backorder.

But thanks for the heads up. I'll be keeping a close eye on that particular vendor.

According to tineye.com that concept APC pic is 6 years old.

So, are the panzerjagers gone or just on order?

Just on order. Latest information from the end of January:

Thats one of the restock items currently on its way from China, If you find someone who has them in stock I would confirm with them first, before placing the order.

That's good to hear. I plan on loading up on DF stuff once I find a new job.

I've written up a Sci Fi RPG game and this line of miniatures will be perfect, though I don't know for which faction

I'd love to see Dreamforge do its version of space elves and space dwarves. There are 22073723720979 makers of orcs out there, but no one does space elves.

The dreamforge minis are good for decently teched out factions.

I also have done swaps from amongst their own lines that make some cool variants, men with the paratrooper mask/helmets, weapon swaps were pretty easy.

I even used parts from the Valkir that made a squad look more bad-ass. the heads and butt plates mainly. Meet the 10th squad of the Dire Wolves Kill Team.

[/img]

Yes those plates just fit, Mark is a model making genius!

That large scale Valkir is an interesting choice for a new release. Might be really nice for anyone who plays Inquisitor too. Glad to see you still kicking around, Mark!

Oh yes, just a pity that postage to Blighty kills any feeling of discount - not that that's Mark's fault of course. Still went ahead and ordered mine because...........

I got my large scale Valkir, it is seriously badass. Beautiful kit, and he's huuuuge.

I hope that the display minis get to be at least a semi-regular thing, I'd love to do a variety of these, even just more of the various Valkir.

I hope at some point Mondragon will comment about the Shadokesh development here. The 3-D sculpt pictures he released before were very exciting, and I've been completely won over by the outstanding quality of his Eisenkern kits, even though German military and Star Wars design cues aren't my usual favorites. They are definitely my favorite figures in terms of finding a workable, realistic looking, and elegant "true scale". I find it very hard to think of any sci fi figure line that does quite as well in that regard.

I understand quality takes time, and that accordingly the Eisenkern hard plastics were a long time coming. I'd just like to know that his business is doing OK and that he still intends to move forward and expand his universe with another faction sometime in the future. It would be a real shame if the market wouldn't allow for that. With a second faction, Mondragon would have the basis of a working, coherent war-game universe, rather than just a great line of figures for a single faction. It takes 2 factions to tango, or something to that effect. With 2 factions he could launch a full war-game with fluff, rules, etc. He could launch a self-contained starter box like Dark Vengeance with a lot less; just a representative Eisenkern force and a small Shadokesh force consisting of a few kits.

If The Shadokesh are looking like a long shot, my only suggestion would be to reconsider their scale. As I understood it, the Shadokesh were to be a good deal larger than human soldiers. I'm totally fine with that, but if Mondragon worries about the Shadokesh finding a large enough audience, scaling them back to standard human size might make them easier for fans of other lines to buy into.

Speaking for myself, I'd jump on a Shadokesh KS funding campaign, even if it was stated at the outset that it would take 2 years to fulfill.

I think Mark is regrouping to decide on his next course of action. I do find it odd that he was practically clearancing the DFG stuff on his site for Memorial Day.

I hope he'll be able to push forward on the FlugStuG - that design has a lot of interest.

Tracked my large scale Valkir. He's arrived at Heathrow airport yesterday. Hoping for delivery on Monday. That's now two projects I want to complete for next month.

Oh, god, make that three, no, wait, four! [Five?]

Crud on a Credstick, I need some good weather!

He's only partly built, but comparing the biggie Valkir to other stuff...he's about the same size as a Contemptor.

This, just so much this.

If there was a Shadokesh kickstarter I would drop at least $200 on it, site unseen. I don't care if there was a 2 year wait.
