Lots and lots of nice work here. I need to catch up. I've almost finished Gracie and just need to sort out her base and Ophelia's.

Finished Hoffman and got pics of Sonnia. Pardon the mess in the background, I had a late night and haven't tidied up yet.

I like the charred skeleton - I've seen that model painted a lot. Never thought about that, but it suits it a lot more than being painted straight bone.

I can't paint bone so it worked out better!

I almost tried OSL on that crew.

my actual crew is going to be Gremlins, but I've not got them put together yet nor painted sadly :( too many projects lol

however I did finish this guy a bit ago. I bought him because of his superior, awesome sculpt. I don't intend to use a steamborg executioner in a game

That's Vallejo's Park Green from it's model color line. It's one of my favorites.

Looks good, nice freehand on the tattoo!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

how was Levi to build? I.E. Did he have any separate hands, or were the goggles separate?

Im thinking of picking him up, as I'm branching out into outcasts currently.

Also, wouldn't he be more of a mechromancer?

The whole Levi box goes together very well and there actually aren't that many fiddly bits.

Leveticus's kit was pretty good. IIRC a couple of the waifs had jewelry bits that were a little funky to attach (but also easy to leave off). His coat is 3 pieces and take a bit of patience, but the seams are well hidden and if you figure out the right order, it's pretty straightforward.

Man, do he and Rusty have some epic anime legs, though.

Just starting up Malifaux and I discovered that dakka had a Malifaux forum about half an hour ago. Cool!

This is my first mini for a Resurrectionist crew (probably Seamus). I spent an eon of time painting this mini for the dakka paint challenge a while back. This is a new set of shots that I took before posting Sebastian on CoolMiniOrNot and this time the photos actually look better than the model!

Hope you like him!

Nice work, both of you! I have a bunch of stuff on the painting table now.

Keebler, is the idea runes?

Zoat, nice though I still can't get over the fact that those teeth are on backwards... found a copy of the tiny metal version.

Lucius and his creepy buddies got a revision (notes)

The idea was that the patches were from fabric with a kind of teal flannel look.

I am doing another teddy (Same sculpt) that is reverse. Teal flannel with burgundy patches.

Painted these a while back and haven't posted them here yet. I'm just getting into Malifaux and torn between Gremlins and Outcasts, will probably do both in some order. Trying to document everything as I go via blogs and Youtube videos, gives an extra edge to the hobby where you have to think your ideas through and validate them not just go "I'll slap some paint 'ere and there and this can be a Mary Poppins themed giant robot".

Very nice, I like how you chose blue for the Slithurids.

Just an FYI, Zoraida can be used with Gremlins (and Neverborn). That may help influence what direction you start out in.

I know, I also have some of the older Gremlin models in my mini storage some where. It's just a matter of if Gremlins are a good place to learn the rules or if I'm better off sticking with 1 solid faction for the moment to build up a decent collection for versatility.

I thought I was going to start with Guild...and then I saw how fun Gremlins are. I couldn't resist myself

I did play Malifaux a bit with Gremlins in 1E, but it wasn't as fun and the ruleset felt a bit clunky. M2E has been a ton of fun.

I suggest going with Gremlins, but perhaps try some cross faction stuff (like Neverborn).

I had finally forgotten that Zoraida sculpt...

Better go re-bleach my eyes

The paint job is awesome though. I have a soft spot for blue Silurids.
