I'm surprised with the last freebie, thought it would be another mascot!

Here's the last freebie..

Since you've been such good backers and since we are a pretty cool company, and since we didn't have the final concept for the last mascot, we decided to turn one of the Stretch Gaol Heroine into a Freebie!

This brings the total retail value of the Freebie pack to a pretty amazing $282.50. How cool is that?

And the update in question: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loudnraging/tgg2-light-and-darkness/posts/1192296

Oh, they do. GW C&D'ed Raging Heroes' Lammasu model (now Manticore). Because GW created and own the concept, unlike these French thieves.

i did not know that.....really. Man GW always impresses me with their thickheadedness.

I'm still under the impression that RH will not unlock everything......Too bad we have no betting pool.

Yes. YES! MOAR ARMOR!
Too bad I have no idea what I could use them as. What do you plan to proxy them as?

Grey Knight Terminators, I think?

I've lost touch with the rules-spam that is 40K 7th edition, so I'm not sure.

I'm just hoping that they'll be really nice looking miniatures that will be fun to paint...

Either Grey Knight, or judging from the shields and hammers, vanilla terminators with said equipment, those are still a good option for regular space marine armies I think.

Damn, no Sister Dialogus. I thought there was a good chance she'd be a freebie since they have a stand in for a Hospitaler.

Oh well. My favorite os Santa Dolores, Psychic Seer. She'll make a wicked looking replacement for a Daemonhost.

But we cannot take vanilla terminator as troops for an allied detachment, right? That would mean having more marines or marine count-as. Not very enticing.
I will look at the GK terminator rules!

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. I think Lysander of the Imperial Fists allows for this, but I'm not a 100% certain.

I think Sol-Sarya is supposed to be the not-Dialogus. Really hope the not-Hospitalers get an unlock, but i'm not holding my breath at this stage.

Considering how this campaign was run it's no surprise. I'm definitely not an expert, but I have a feeling this campaign could've been run way better and scored way more money that this - little bit more than the previous one, which had a lot of hype going on.

In the last hours I tried re-evaluating the Lt. pledge again, but it seems I just cannot justify it. It's either pick up a few heroines or purchase a whole large SoB army and that's way too much for me.

42nd Cadian Infantry Regiment - 4605 pts.
Sven Bloodhowl's Great Company - 7033 pts.
Elements of Dark Angels 2nd and 3rd Companies - 1155 pts.

Still waiting on that Huntress to unlock (which I'm sure it will when the PM opens if it doesn't in the next few hour), but I'm still curious to see that Holy War Beast or whatever it's called.

Also have absolutely no clue what I'll actually be getting with my pledge. Too many interesting choices. I should probably wait until we see more renders, shouldn't I?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Nurse Caroline
Spoiler:

A jailbird or other
Spoiler:

Karlstein, I think? And what I meant by odd bubbles. Not dramatic, but if this were to happen anywhere else, yikes.
Spoiler:

Yaga Soul Weaver. The folds of this robe paint themselves, they are so deep. Which can be daunting if you're trying to be realistic in your lighting. Which I'm not, in most cases.
Spoiler:

Nertha. I trying to do her justice. You be the judge. I'll use her as some twisted version of Saint Celestine.

Guys, since we are a so marvellous company, we just decided to increase the value of the freebies to $1000!

An since we are so cool, we reduced the number of freebies!

That's a little bit cynical but I wonder where they learned their ways to communicate....

Honestly..I don't think this campaign was badly run...some odd decisions of course ...but All kisckstarters make those. I think 700k is about what RH can make unless they drop their prices to something ridiculous. and as a boutique miniature maker.....that's just not gonna happen.

There were less WTF moments. The goals (fake though they might be i have learned that lots of Ks's uses fake goals) were realistic and dint randomly change halfway through. There wan no "80% done" meme or easy thing to make fun of. The paypal bit was clever and good solid marketing .

Yes...too many armies...that's true. but now seeing them.....i dont think it was that bad of an idea..the groupings were small enough.

Also....KS burn out

sodapop, Mantic deadzone 2, TTGS coming off of blood rage coming off of Conan plus the hundred others I couldn't shovel money into.

what do you mean a barrel of laughs? I'm scared

I think I can take the wait. I wanted space nuns and those are very well done. I will be happy when I get them.

Uh... I didn't quite do anything, she's just assembled. Make sure you test fit her to a base. Unless you want to be stuck like me, fitting something under her foot.

And the only quibble I have with Nertha, because she really is beautiful, is the hand shape.

Amirite?
