Just like the topic says, I know the following but I'm sure I'm missing something.
Space Marines - 5e
Orks - 5e
Daemons - 5e
So that leaves what?
Chaos Space Marines - 4e
Tau - 4e
DH - 3e
WH - 3e
IG - 3e
Necrons - 3e
Eldar - 4e
Dark Eldar - 3e
Tyranids - 3e
BA ?
DA ?
SW ?
BT ?

Tau are not 5E. They are throughly designed for fourth. Chaos as well. Chaos weathered the transition a hell of a lot better though.
The 5E codexes are:
Orks
Daemons
Space marines

Most believe daemons were designed with the fifth edition ruleset in mind, and most believe that the general mechanics of fifth were taken into consideration for the ork book. Even though they were not technically released after fifth they were designed with its ruleset as the focus.

Wow! How'd I completely forget about Orks?!? I'd assumed Tau since they had a re-release of their codex in what...April of last year? Updated my initial post.

I believed that codecies from DA onwards were all made with 5e in mind, with ork onwards with a far better idea of how the rules would work

Nids are 4e, aren't they? The 4e rulebook has pictures of older nids in it, so the codex must have come out after that.

DH and WH are both 3rd ed codices (and they show it).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Ahh, that's right, they were released at the end of 3e when they were fiddling around with new rules etc and changing them through chapter approved monthly it seemed.
