I've grown sick of pestering the same minds everytime something strange goes through my head. SWo I'm putting these out to dakka each time I think of something new and crazy. Please inform me if any rules/models I suggest have been done by another GW army, these are meant to be fun and unique. That said. if you enjoy any of these, play them out with a friend in a friendly match and tell me how they go.
To start:
Trukk/Battlewagon Upgrades
Ute: Cost 20 points.
Can only be taken on open topped vehicle. Gives the option of 2 more turretts (must be paid for seperately - BS = 5 points, rokkit = 10) and a extra 10 ork transport capacity.
Less Bumpy: Cost 10 points.
May count defensive weapons as anything strength 5 or lower. May allow Skorchas (+15) as upgrades to turrets as the added stability makes fuel based explosions less likely. Automatically Appended Next Post: Quick edit: other idea would be to reduce the scorcha upgrade to +10 points but -5 transport capacity per skorcha as fuel drums fill the spaces where orks would sit.

Uhh, I would at least have the point cost of the Ute upgrade be around 150, then maybe it would be acceptible. I mean really? a trukk that can carry 22 boyz? a battlewagon that can carry 30? unbelieveably broken, maybe even at 150 points.
and the other rule needs to cost about 40 points.

Dedrith - except a BASIC truk costs 35 points. Making the upgrade more than the cost of the vehicle would make little sense as you'd just buy another vehicle.

The ONLY disadvantage to using Trukks is that they only carry small mobs of orks, due to the Mob Rule, and the fact that smaller mobs are easier to take out in close combat. Just adding more trukks wouldn't solve this problem.
A trukk with a transport capacity of 22 is simply ridiculous.

If you're going to add thundering, I'd like them to be not done before and not just crazy for the sake of crazy, but sure, go ahead.

Brewerboyz:
Squad consists of an Independant Character group of 1-3 Brewerboyz. ach Brewerboy costs 15 points.
WS BS S T W I A LD Sv
4 2 3 4 1 2 2 10 6+
Wargear: Big shoota, Choppa, Beer Tank.
Fuel tank: Holding a beer tank means that it;s very easy to explode the troupe they are with in a stray shot. If a brewerboy is wounded roll a D6 on a 6+ place a small blast template ontop ther wounded unit. All under suffer a S6 AP- hit.
Brewerboyz also confer a chance to reroll to wounds fired by a scorcha or burna within 6"
