This list can be very terrian specfic. With GW terrian ruins, you can easily fit 2-3 of the dreads and the Vindicare in a building, Fortify it with the tech marine, and in our oppenents shooting phase cast The Shrouding on all friendly units within 6'' of him. Gives you a +2 save on everything in the building...
12 - 8str shots at 48'' range
1 - Vindicare shooting turbo penetrator at 36''
1 - Orbital Strike of various colors every round
1- Vortex of Doom if you get too close
Seems like fun to me!

That is a lot of shooting that is near impossibly to affect from range. But that is also why Crowe, Librarian and a 5 man combat squad of Purifiers is left there also. The 4 remaining rhinos move to mid field and throw additional fire support with Psycannons if they are not blown to bits.

This is pretty gimmicky but damn would that be a terrifying firebase to try and deal with...Dreadnoughts with. a 2+ cover save as well as a Vindicare...not gonna root that out.

Add in Crowe and the Purifiers and you have a scary place of death...let us know how this insanity plays out.

Well it looks all fine and dandy on paper.
But what will you do if your opponent decides to use tactics to win?
Such as going for your scoring troops who needs to claim objectives to win.

If I would face this army, I would go for the objectives and let your army come instead (if they would ever leave the comfort of home that is). No point in heading for the fortified fortress of doom.
I know you have 4 units of purifiers, supported by the fortress. But I think most armies would be able to handle 4 purifier units one way or another.

The other alternative is split the fire of having 1 dread and the vindicare in a different building for better angles, still sitting on a +3 save with either that Librarian or Tech Marine, while the other 2 dreads are in a different building.

This is less of a fortress but still very difficult to deal with my ranged shooting.

The hope is that I can cause enough dmg with this ranged ability to allow the purifiers to only have to deal with troops. With still having 22 marines up the mid field with 24'' range on all guns, or ini 6 power weapons and deamon hammers.

I will DEFINITLY be playing list a couple times tonight and will post battle reports in that section late tonight or tomorrow morning.
