UNYUUFEX
A joke derived from the tendency of Tyranid players to name their Carnifexes by their role and the appellation of "-fex", leading to creatures such as "gunfexes".
Unyuufex is the most tragic Tyranid alive. It is a special breed of Carnifex that wants to hug and cuddle everything, but ends up killing most things as it can't control its own strength.
It is also Abbadon's only friend, hugging the poor fether when he can't hug anything himself. Because, you know, he doesn't have arms.
It is a known rumor that Lofn may have been the companion of Unyuufex, although that is arguable with the simillar theory that Lofn's tyranid companion is an offspring or genetic clone/brother ect. Of Unyuufex

Composition: 1 Unyuufex
Unit Type: Monstrous creature (unique)
Weapons and Biomorphs: Bonded exoskeleton, two sets of hugging claws
Hugging claws: These are monstrous creature weapons always count as being two times the toughness of any model they roll to wound against. An Unyuufex that moves into close combat with a vehicle can not roll to penetrate its armor, but while the Unyuufex is in base contact with the vehicle the vehicle counts as being wrecked (as the Unyuufex hugs it so hard it cannot move or fire any weapons). When the Unyuufex moves out of base contact with it, the vehicle resumes acting normally.
Special Rules:
Instinctive behavior – Unyuu
Fearless
Living Battering Ram
Instinctive Behaviour - Unyuu: Whenever an Unyuufex suffers this Instinctive Behaviour, it automatically joins the nearest unit (friend or foe) as it tries to make new friends. Once in a unit, it will never leave its new friends. Ever.
If an enemy unit is joined as a result of Instinctive Behavior – Unyuu, roll a
D6. One a 1-3, the Unyuufex becomes friends with the enemy unit and the enemy player gets to use the Unyuufex as a model in their army. On a 4-6, the unit becomes friends with the Unyuufex and the Tyrnaid player gets to use the enemy unit as a unit in his/her own army.
A unit joined by an Unyuufex (friend or foe) may choose to try and kill the Unyuufex to get rid of the liability, and this is resolved like a normal close combat. If a loyal or enemy unit chooses to kill the Unyuufex and succeeds it must immediately take a leadership test, for the unit is sad that it has killed such a cute creature. If it fails the leadership test, a) the enemy unit is destroyed, or b) the Tyranid unit gains a number of models of its type equal in points value to the Unyuufex, as its biomass is recycled back into the unit.
Dedicated transport:
An Unyuufex may take a Mycetic Spore as a dedicated transport. See the Mycetic spore entry for point costs.
