I am beginning a Kill Team Campaign.
This will be starting on the 1st of May, and running for several weeks there after.
It will be played using Vassal, and on the tabletop irl if people want to do so.
Some of you will know of Kill Team already, some of you will not, the rules will be provided in the Rules Packet for the campaign (it's also available on Games Workshops website).
But it's great fun and won't be hard to learn if you haven't - so everyone's welcome.

The Assault on Hive City Alvearium Rules Packet will be done shortly.

Until then, I'm opening sign up now, and the general info is below:

You can find the standard 6th edition Kill Team rules here.
The Campaign will primarily follow the standard rules, with some differences:
- The Specialists you choose will be set, you choose at list creation, not the start of each game.
- You won't be able to give Specialists the Brotherhood of Psykers, Brotherhood of Sorcerers, Large Blast or Torrent rules.
- Furthermore, the specialists you choose will be set across the campaign (unless that Specialist suffers True Death). (True Death rules will be explained in the Rules Packet)
- You will need to designate a Team Leader (who will be a Character, and/or model with the highest leadership), who will also be a Hero. (A Hero will gain minor bonuses at the end of a game it made a kill and survived. A Team Leader is much the same, but with better bonuses and much less chance of suffering True Death.)
- Furthermore, Necrons with the Resurrection Protocols rule gain the Everliving rule.

The important part for sign up, will be the army list at the top listing specialists and points, etc.
The Character sheets are primarily for your benefit to track your experience and such.

that list is a bit on the wrong side, you can only take one special weapon per guardsmen squad so those would be just 1 GL and 1 Flamer though the 4 GLs on the platoon command are fine

Alright here is the list updated and corrected. Once more, let me know if there are any problems with it and I'll fix them/make a new list.

I have no idea what I am doing by the way.

6 grenade launchers, 2 missile launcers, a plasma pistol and what... 14-15 mooks is still prtty scary.
Damn guard are cheap. XD

Even scarier when you realise there's no guarantee they're going to stay in blast or template formation, and you can't charge them all to make the most of your x+y attacks...

heh, yeah.
It's also a lot more practical / versatile with the missile launchers.

No, Dominions are Fast Attack.

Repentia are Elites, Dominions are Fast Attack.

So, when challenging me remember to balance the prospect of an easy win against the fact that I'll be taking a while to get through all the rules (and Vassal) and learning as I go!

Aren't Wraithseers HQ / Heavy Support or over 200pts?

Most likely, was just messing around.

It would be hilarious (and wrong) to be able to take something that big or nasty, sadly, it's almost all either HQ, Heavy Support, or can't be done for under 200pts.

There's some exceptions, like the Triarch Stalker, and a some Dreadnought Variants, but then it does only leave you with the 1 model. :(

I played a game vs a hellbrute, its not that much of threat, really.

The guy broguht 5 (2 flamers) raptors and a hellbrute optimized to kill 4+ infantry (missile launcher, I think, and a heavy bolter)

I had 10 Grenadiers (Carapace, hotshots for 7 guys, Sarge has hotshot pistol and bolt gun for free, 2 melta guns)

The brute never got to fire. We were playing on an Infinity board, so lots of corridors and corners.

lol, Helbrutes are useless anyway.
