so, am doing a diorama involving Cadians + an enemy force....

now, im not a gamer, im a modeller, but i do want to do something that would be accurate within the boundaries of the game

so, who would be your suggestion as to who i should depict in the scene as the enemy?

Are they Cadians in the sense that they are just Cadian IG models, or are they actually from a Cadian Regiment? If they are actually from Cadia, Chaos would be the obvious choice...

they are just cadian IG models, but i have given them my own regimental spin, so to that end, they, i would suppose be from cadia

Anyone would work, Guard fight everything except other imperials... You could do Tyranids, or Chaos, either would look pretty cool

Sometimes you don't need to have an enemy I did this one over the course of several months. Like you I don't game, I used to but I still like the possibilities of the models. This is my diorama that I posted last month...

I doubt you would find Cadians slogging in a back water but who knows? I would like to see what you come up with.

Theres a precedent in one of the Ciaphas Cain books, but they try to avoid conflict

Imperial Armory 3 is all about Tau v. Guard IIRC.

i decided to go with IG V Tau in the end, will update with pictures when its finished
