2.5K points and 3K points, how long (on average) does it take you to play at each level? Trying to determine how long I should set tournament rounds for.

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. 2.5K is 2 hours flat from set up to end due to tournament practice as those games are 2 hours and 5 minutes.

1.5 hours to 2.5 hours at 2.5k

Depend if you and your opponent know the rules.
Since it goes faster when you dont have to explain everything which also lead to less confrontations.

3k 2 to 4 hours.

Overview of the WoC army book.

For a tournament setting I'd say 2 hours is very reasonable for 2.5k and about two and half for 3k. You want your participants to be prepared and ready to play so keeping a good schedule can help enforce an "active" game.

At most, 1 hour per 1000 points.

Quite often I'll finish games in only 45 minutes per 1000 points.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

It really depends on how much we end up chatting and drinking during the game, sometimes 2,000pts takes us 3 hours. Don't play so much nowadays, so usually end up using games as an excuse for socialising!
