Here are some tips on improving the style of your Stormsurge.

1. Buy a Disney Infinity Iron Man Hulkbuster figure for around $11.00
2. Remove the arms and use them on the Stormsurge.
3. Move the missle racks/pods up behind the main head.
4. Attach the large guns to the arms.

If you're in the Northwest and can get to MUGU, these guys do amazing conversion and painting work on commission. Check out their page.

Looks pretty cool, though I am still waiting for someone to do a full missile launch conversion, akin to anime such as Macross Plus, etc.

This is exactly how i want the arms to look!

My old "1st wave Tau" Broadsides hold their railguns like this too (did not like that shoulder mounted models either), so i was looking for good arms before even considering buying a Stormsurge.
Did not think of the Hulkbuster armour.
Now i do :-)

Thanks for posting that. I'm not sure about having both gun options though. I still haven't put mine together yet as I was waiting for more conversions to show up.

Yes the 2 guns is odd but looks great! I guess as long as you are clear as to what they have its no issue.

Do they have photos of these painted? I wanna see if there would be a style difference between the hulkbuster arms and the stormsurge's armor plates.

The hands are a good touch. You can also make a Stormsurge better by simply attaching both of the big guns to the sides of the missile pods, instead of just one on the shoulder. I did this and also converted the guns to be the same length.

Gives it more of a mech feel.
