Hey guys. I dont have any Beastmen but was thinking about making a fun list after im done with Lizarrdmen.

How well do you think this list would do in a NON competitive scene?

1x Doombull

4x Bullgors
4x Bullgors
4x Bullgors
4x Bullgors

1x Ghorgon
1x Cygor

It kinda reminds me of an Ogres type army haha

Depending the weapon selection its about 1300

In a non-competitive scene? Meh, depends what you mean by that. If you think this will be fun, then go ahead.

But I personally think you could do with some Razorgors (the big pig things) to stop yourself being Frenzy baited. Bullgors probably do better in a bigger unit of at least 6 due to how Monstrous support works. How would you kit out your Doombull? He can be amazingly varied with magic item choices. I've seen a Flying Doombull do very well.

Is this AoS? What comp? WHFB has its own forum now.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Bullgors have very nice benefits from standards and musicians. I would base unit sizes around how many standard bearers and musicians I painted.

Gorgon and Cygors are pretty scary in a fight.

You're using SDK comp, right? How is that working out for you? I've been a fan of it for a while, but am slowly converting to SCGT, in part because it includes points for formations (and because I like the comped rules that accompany it - summoning and all that).

Speaking of formations, you're running the Bullgor Stampede, aren't you? Cause you totally should And since only three units of Bullgors benefit from it, I'd suggest taking your 16 minotaurs and distributing them into 3x 5 Bullgors instead - this way they all get the bonuses, and are meatier units as well.

Which under SCGT looks like this:

BULLGOR STAMPEDE
Doombull
5 Bullgor
5 Bullgor
5 Bullgor
Ghorghon
+
Cygor
-------------
84

A fairly common SCGT total to shoot for is 100 (generally with extra pool options to choose from after that), so maybe aim to add up to that? You've got no magic or shooting or very fast things, so maybe look into some of those for those last 16 choices?

And if you do stick with SDK, I'd try to get up to a nice round number for ease of pick up games. You can get down to 1000 by cutting Bullgors (3x3), or buff up to 1500 by adding more heroes and/or units.

Hey I haven't built this army yet but your reply has def been beneficial. I will look into the formation more as well as SCGT points, since SDK will not longer be updated!
