Wound for Wound, what's the best Monster killer that Order has? Like say, if you absolutely positively had to kill Archaeon.

Thanks!

So the best Order options for killing monsters using wounds count? Bastiladon with solar engine. 8 wounds, 20" 2d6 atks, 4+hit, 3+ wound, rend -1, 2 dmg (or 3 vs chaos daemons). It has a 3+ save ignores all rend, and has a 4+ save against mortal wounds. Put it in cover and give it mystic shield for an unfailable save. For extra cheese run the Thunderquake Starhost battalion to make that save re-rollable and to make them heal in each of your hero phases. If you really need mortal wounds give them an ark of sotek instead of the solar engine.

If you are trying to kill monsters without making your opponent cry, try Luminark/Hurricanums, or take your pick of war machine.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I think Durthu is beast, and in my experience, the Necrosphinx hits monsters like a truck. The Wood Elf Dragon is pretty bad ass too considering it will always attack first in melee.

If we can include forgeworld, Dread Saurian and Carmine dragon will do the trick with joy

No forgeworld I would go with the Serephon units as Ninthmusketeer mentioned. They can get bonuses against chaos plus some of their dinos are just bonkers on ability! I hate when I play them with my daemons and rats, almost to the point where if i see them i call GG cause I struggle so hard against them. In the end I dont and its still a blast to play. Rats have short lives anyways

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

What would be some good Order units effective at killing monsters? Would warmachines be good at this roll as well.

They could be. What army are you running?

I am running High Elves, currently the only thing I have to kind of fit that role would be a combined effort of Tyrion, Korhil and 20 White Lions.
