Full disclosure: I'm the CEO the studio and longtime lurker. My handle dates back to my very first MMORPG City of Heroes. I've also developed Champions Online, Neverwinter and Star Trek Online (and I've managed a few others...).

I thought I'd post the link and let y'all know. We'll be posting more information over time; I come here a couple of times a day to be honest!

Very cool. City of Heroes remains one of my favorite eras of gaming. Curious to see what you guys come up with!

Very cool. Will we get more details as part of the Skulls promotion on May 25th, or is the press release all for now?

Right now, this is it. The Skulls promotion will have lots of amazing stuff, but ours will need to wait for a bit.

Now it makes sense why Ross Watson is talking about this company.

Allright, thanks for replying, appreciate it. I figured as much (since you'd probably have waited the week with the press release otherwise) but it's always good to have confirmation.

MMO, apparently. But 40k or fantasy is still undisclosed.

And China's NetEase involvement gives me a lot of qualms, particularly for an MMO, which generally wants and requires more data from customers.

Large scale warhammer multiplayer games haven't gone well in the past, at least in terms of sustainability. Age of Reckoning died fairly soon after its release and Eternal Crusade was a mess of unfulfilled promises. Dawn of War and Total War Warhammer both worked out, but I would say that it's partly because it was from more of an RTS/Squad based focus situation that lent itself more naturally to the setting that had a strong campaign focus with multiplayer on the side, rather than the multiplayer being the main draw.

Yeah I was hyped up for Age of Reckoning, and then it released.

But I hope this project turns into something beautiful. I want to see a Diablo-esque, Grim Dawn-like 40k ARPG, where I can level up a Black Templar from neophyte to Emperor's Champion hacking, slashing, & shooting down Orks in war torn ruins.

Yes I can totally see it. So what's up with this project? I looked on the website, I'm not sure where the updates are.
