I enjoy Cataphractii myself, the stronger shield generators mean I can shrug off attacks that would puncture even Indomitus plate! The trade-off in speed is worth it I feel.

In dead of night the two figures wandered off into the forest unknowingly into the clearing where they would both meet their fate. There was a silence and a brief exchange of words.

And with that it had been settled. Justice would come when it was least expected and the Ghoul hunter shivered to himself as he began to realize with horror.

"It seems like I have found you, Sasha. Sister. Ghoul."

The dark haired Ghoulette stirred gently as she opened her eyes. Her head was pounding for a reason that was unknown. She sat up and stared at the walls surrounding her.

Taeria: "It's been quite sometime now. "

She reflected softly and stretched out her hands so that she could see them properly.

She silently crawled out of bed and began her morning routine that had become quite redundant to her lately.

The apathy in her voice shocked her and she put a hand to her mouth as she reprimanded such a terribly attitude toward her morning routine. She steadily made her way out into the mainroom where she had been absent from for what felt like ages.

*When Tae is finally out of sight, Ciri screams a pained sob, before finally curling up into a ball.*

As Taeria runs further and further into the forest she is unaware of the two figures closing in on her. Suddenly the trees shake and someone lands behind her. She instantly recognized the scent.

The Ghoulette turns to face the woman and she sees Nanami holding a large Quinque. The woman speaks.

"Sasha Akari, S Class Ghoul, responsible for 289 deaths in 7 Tokyo prefectures. You die tonight."

The Ghoul looks up at the woman.

Taeria falls to her knees and tears begin to fall softly.

Suddenly Thaddeus appears and cracks his whip beside Taeria in order to frighten her. Taeria whimpers and falls back clearly terrified.

*Ciri claws at her hair in her sorrow, and sobs.*
*The cracks of energy keep spark around her, and she clinches her teeth to the point of cracking one of her molars.*
Gaunter: My poor, poor pet. You never really loved her anyways, why not come to your real home... where you belong.
*She looks around for her former master, fear showing on her face.*

*A small nova explodes from her, knocking back a few trees.*

Thaddeus takes a step toward the Ghoul that murdered his family.

"....you were supposed to be my Sister."

Thaddeus utters out with raw emotion and hatred.

"You killed my paren-.... our parents..."

Thaddeus suddenly cracks the whip and strikes Taeria in the face. He screams at the top of his lungs shouting "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER, GHOUL?!"



There is no response from Taeria. She lies there unwilling to speak to fight back. The woman speaks again.

"I am the one that slept with your partner. She was so easily swayed... adored her time with my as well... she never said no..."

Nanami begins to cackle cruelly and in a split second she is peirced and pinned to a tree by Taeria. The kagune trails down toward the tree slicing Nanami's body in half.

*talks with Barbarians and introduces self as not come across them before*

*Maria wanders out the med bay*
*yawns and heads for kitchen to grab some food smelling thr kitchen *

*Ciri rips out her hair, and ignores Gaunters cackling laughter.*
*A cone of green energy burns around Ciri, and her eyes glow bright green.*

*She clenches her teeth so hard that her molar finally snaps, she welcomes the pain.*

Thaddeus looks in horror as his fellow CCG officer is murdered. He begins wildly lashing at Taeria with strategic skill. Her kagune begins to block his every move with excellent adequacy.

45 minutes pass and this exhange of offensive and defensive attacks continue on.

Suddenly a crack from one of the whips strikes Taeria and she retaliates. Thaddeus lunges forward to deliver a final blow but in one swift move Taeria hops up into the trees. They continue to battle one another mercilessly in the trees.

"You've grown in my Sister's body, Ghoul. We can't do this forever. I will have to kill you. "

Thaddeus growls and fights fiercely. Taeria's eyes widen as she hears his words.

" Thaddeus!!! Stop!!! I am Sasha!!"

"You lie."

*Ciri's eyes snap open, at the sound of Taeria distant scream.*
*She tires to blink but only manages a few yards, before collapsing to her knees.*
Ciri: Tae.. I'm coming..
*She is able to get up, and musters her strength.*
*Begins running towards Taeria.*

There is wild screaming in the forest but suddenly coherent words form in the midst of the chaos.

"MOTHER LOVED THE MORNING FLOWERS JUST LIKE YOU DID."



Weapons fall and Thaddeus is frozen in shock. He stares at the Ghoul that claims to be his sister.

Thaddeus: You... Did you take her memories, ghoul? How would you know that?

Taeria falls to the ground with exhaustion.

Taeria: I am Sasha. I didn't want to... to kill mommy and daddy..

The Ghoulette begins to cry out as if the pain from her parent's death were raw.

Suddenly she was pinned to the ground and held down with the whips.

"Shouldn't have let your guard down, ghoul"

*Ciri eyes widen at the scream.*
Ciri: TAE!
*She musters her power, and blinks closer to Taeria.*
*Tries to blink again, but fails so she returns to running.*
Ciri: Tae!

Taeria: Goodbye...
*Her tears flow out helplessly and Thaddue gets on his knees and retrieve the whips. He scoops his sister into his arms and begins to sob.*
Thaddues: You have to tell me why... Sasha..
*The siblings lie there in the clearing together *

*Ciri makes it to the clearing looking battered, and bruised.*
Ciri: Tae-!
*She spots the two siblings, and looks almost pained. Doesn't know what Thaddeus has planned, so she draws her sword.*
Ciri: Please... please don't hurt her...
*Slowly shrivels to her knees, and drops her sword.*
Ciri: I... don't want to be alone again...

*Thaddeus wraps his arms around Taeria's little body defensively. *
Thaddeus: what are you truly to my Sister?
*Thaddeus looks exhausted and Taeria is silent*
Thaddeus: I am going to take her away. We are going to settle things.
*Taeria sits up at looks at Ciri*
Taeria: I-I.... I'll be Okay, Ciri...don't worry about me...

*Ciri eyes burn with energy as she address Thaddeus.*
Ciri: She is my partner... if... she will have me...
*She slumps further.*
Ciri: I... betrayed her... Some harlot tricked me!
*Ozone pops around her as she yells, then she slowly turns to Taeria.*
Ciri: No Tae... I will worry about you... you are my world, my one love, and... and...
*Feels pathetic considering hours before she was cheating on Taeria. Painful energy tears burn burrows across her face, as she stares into her brown eyes.*
Ciri: I'm so sorry.. I was weak... just too weak..

Thaddeus explains the plan to Taeria and tells her exactly who Nanami was.

Taeria looks at Ciri with slight pain and exclaims softly.

Taeria: I forgive you, Ciri...

Thaddeus stands and looks down at Taeria.

Thaddeus: Tell me why...why it has come to this?

[[The next hours are spent with Taeria retelling her tale on how she became to be a ghoul]]



Thaddeus: I... I need to think on this..Taeria?..Taeria. I am going home.

*Thadeus leaves Ciri and Taeria together in the forest*

*Ciri nods slowly, but doesn't feel the same as Taeria.*
// I won't forgive myself... not ever..//
*She sits watching Taeria, and Thaddeus talk.*
*Gets enraged at being played, but bites her lip hard to keep herself quiet.*
*When Thaddeus leaves, she doesn't rise just watches Taeria.*
*Ciri is unable to manage any words, and so she just keeps watching Taeria.*

*Taeria meets Ciri's gaze*
Taeria: I love you...always will. Please promise me that... you haven't become bored of me...
*Taeroa looks at Ciri with worry*
Taeria: maybe if I wear nicer clothes?...

*Ciri can't help but cry at Taeria's words.*
Ciri: No Tae...I love you so much! You- you are perfect in every way... it's me... I-I am just some perverted monster.
*She tries to hold back her burning tears, and shakes her head.*
Ciri: You are perfect, my princess... I am sorry for my... infidelity..
*Ciri manages to stand up, and hugs Taeria.*
Ciri: I... don't deserve your forgiveness..

*Merg goes outside and sits, studying a map again*


*Morri and Cal clean up anything left over in the kitchen then go to sit in the lounge*


*Gharn goes for a hunt*


*Morgan shrugs*
Morgan: I'm alright. How about you?


*Dria is in the library reading*

*Taeria gently hugs Ciri back but then she pulls away*
Taeria: You are no monster to me...We can go home now. You much be tired...
*The little ghoul stands and offers a hand to Ciri*
Taeria: home awaits.

*Thaddeus enters the main room and storms off to the bar. He does some deep thinking throughout the night and drinks heavily for the first time. He then retreats to his bedroom drunk*

*Ciri nods slowly, and tries to hide her pain.*
Ciri: ...Okay.
*She takes Taeria's hand.*
Ciri: Lets... go home..
*She winces slightly at Gaunters booming laughter echoing in her mind as the pair walk home.*

*A soft familiar voice calls to Thaddeus.*
Voice: Senpai...
*The voice giggles, and Thaddeus door opens on it's own accord.*
Voice: Seeenpaiiiii... *giggles.*
*The voice seems to be pulling Thaddeus somewhere.*

*The Trio's HUD leads them to a small banged up hotel*

TORGUE: Ok badasses. Your teammate is on the roof of that building! Also! That building is full of people who want to kill you! And their leader is waiting for you at the top of the building as well! His name is Scorch! He will try and be friends with you. Then back stab you and try burn you to death!

*Scorch pops up on the Trio's HUD*

Scorch: Are you kidding me Torgue! You just told them my plan!

TORGUE: YES!

Scorch: ... You heard him... Get up here and save your teammate...

*Scorch sighs and hangs up*

*Billy nods*
Billy: Alright. How ya'll wanna do this? Fight our way to the top through the hotel or just climb it? I gotta grappling hook if need be
*Wiggles the fingers on his metal hand*

*Marilania*

I'm alright. morri was frosty a tad. To be expected.
Things have not been too crazy... At least. You not managed to miss any invasions.

*Maria and Marla chat with Barbarians who seem to know Marilania from trading then warm slightly as they reconise Maria as kin*

Taeria takes Ciri home and into the bedroom. The doors shut for the night but Taeria gets no sleep at all

Thaddeus hears the voice and with immense composure  he follows the voice. He isn't sure if he is dreaming.

"Who is calling out to me at such a late hour?.."

He stumbles from being  drunk *

*Morgan shakes his head*
Morgan: I asked Dria, she wanted this. Not synth flesh

*Ciri follows Taeria, and goes into her room.*
*She sleeps on the floor, not wanting to defile the bed with her body.*
*Her sleep is plagued with nightmares, yet she doesn't show any outward sign of discomfort.*

*The giggles pull Thaddeus to one of the many room, in the room.*
Voice: Senpai?
*Finally Thaddeus finds Rachel's old door to her room, and can faintly hear faint giggling on the other side.*

*Zoey frowns at Billy.*
Zoey: Find your balls, we going in through the front.
*She kicks down the front door, and stomps inside the hotel.*

*Billy frowns*
Billy: I was more concerned for the lady up top. Our soon to be teammate
*Flanks Zoey, shield up and covering himself as he aims, ready to gun down anything he can find*

*Thaddeus tilts his head and knocks on the door*
Thaddeus: Rachel?...
*She stumbles slightly and turns the knob recklessly and enters the room.*
Thaddeus: Is that you calling me?..
*He looks slightly dazed and walks into the room with a sloppy and unguided manor*

*Morgan frowns*
Morgan: Your father? What?

*Wade follows after the pair, and looks around*
DP: Is there a bell to ring for service? What about an elevator?
*gasps*
DP: Swimming pool?!

*The door behind Thaddus slams, and the giggling appears to be all around him.*
Voice: At last you are here Senpai..
*The lights in the room blow out in quick succession, before the room is utterly black.*
Voice: I missed you...
*Arms wrap around Thaddus waist for a moment, then quickly let go. When he turns to see who the hands belong to all he sees is blackness.*
Voice: Why did you leave me? ... I was alone... You were supposed to protect me, right?
*The giggles echo all around the room.*

He found suspects, links. He a outsider...no one expects the outsider....

He was gone before I was born. I got a message... He seems to have answers to who after me...but... Means I gotta go meet him....
*sighs*
I kinda never thought id see him...ever..

*There is an elevator at the end of a long hall, there are a few bandit marauders and a nomad*

*The Trio haven't been spotted yet*

*Scorch waits on the roof rather pissed about Torgue ruining his plan*

*Morgan frowns*
Morgan: And he can't call you or anything? Come to you? What makes this donkey-cave so special to demand you come to him? After he left you and Maria?


*Billy grins*
Billy: As long as they've got those little chocolates they put on the pillows I'm happy.
*Quickly snaps off a few shots aimed at the bandit's heads*

*Zoey silently grinds her teeth, and watches out for targets.*
Zoey: If I'm the only survivor on this mission, I'm happy.
*Looks at both Billy and Deadpool.*

*One of the bandits dies instantly and the others diver into cover*

*The nomad barks outs some orders and the marauders pop up every now and then taking a few shots before hiding behind cover again*

TORGUE: Will the badasses be able to get to the roof before their teammate is roasted!? HOPEFULLY!

*Thaddeus blushes as he is hugged from behind*
Thaddeus: Goodness.. I'm drunk. I didn't leave, child... I was simpl planning-...
*He begins to doze off but shakes his head as he tries to be level headed*
Thaddeus: I would be very happy if I could see you, Rachel..

*Wade also opens up on the banditos*
DP: Wake me up, before you go-go. Don't leave me hangin' on like a yo-yo...
*teleports to be right next to Zoey*
DP: You know you love me.

Voice: You didn't? ... But I was taken... and learned of things... He kept me for years... and you never came..
*Rachel steps from the gloom, her wings spread wide. Her eyes glow bright purple, and she smiles a knowing smile at Thaddeus.*
Rach: Here I am senpai.
*The darkness coals around Rachel as she walks up to Thaddeus.*
Rach: I waited... and waited... and you never showed up.

*Zoey shakes her head.*
Zoey: No I don't, whatever you are feeling is a mistake. Understand?

*Thaddeus stumbles from being so drunk but that doesnt stop his utter rage*
Thaddeus: Y-Years?! Who took you?
*Thaddeus strides forward and grabs Rachel's shoulders with urgency*
Thaddeus: You will tell me who this man is.
*Thaddeus is considerably drunk and can't tell if he is being too rough with Rachel*
Thaddeus: You will tell me. Who was this man. Did lay his hands on you?!

*Rachel smiles at drunk Thaddeus, and makes no move against him touching her.*
Rachel: My uncle. He taught me how to use my gifts.
*She nods happily.*
Rachel: Yes, he beat me many times, It was for my training of course.
*She smiles up at Thaddeus.*
Rachel: You left to find... her. And so he took me away to a special place. *She giggles.* I was going to devour your soul, but I will devour hers instead! Then we can be together!

*Marioania just hugs and heads off to bed*
*holds hug for a while before going kinda not wanting to go*

Night... Maybe sleep might help...

*Barbarians finish prodding fridge and head back to hall to report what they learned*

*Thaddeus stumbles with rage and he growls*

*Thaddeus clenched his large hands stipl not fully grasping the words being spoken to him*
Thaddeus: I'll... soul? Her ?
*Thaddeus starts giggling idiotically from being so drunk*
Thaddeus: Who is she?
*He sways while towering over rachel eith confusion and anger*

*Rachel giggles.*
Rachel: Silly! The girl you drew in your notebook!
*She playfully pokes his chest, and giggles more.*
Rachel: I will make her pay for it! You never left me, you were busy with... her. But I'll help you... Senpai!
*Rach hugs Thaddeus, and buries her face in his shoulder.*
Rachel: Her soul be mine!

*Thaddeus blushes at the touching but then chuckles as he rests a hand on Rachel's head*
Thaddeus: That being has no soul. She is a ghoulette. Also, she claims to be my sister.
*Thaddeus continues to sway*
Thaddeus: But.. I have a feeling that I have hurt you.. and for that.. I will make it up to you, Rachel.
*Thaddeus stumbles to the side*
Thaddeus: You are the same Rachel I fell in love with right?
*He hiccups without noticing the gravity of his words*

*Rachel looks enraged for a split second, but smile returns at Thaddeus hand resting on her head.*
Rachel: She has no soul... that... is unacceptable.
*She tilts her head up at Thaddeus.*
Rachel: You made a... mistake... is all. But I will fix it.
*Her eyes widen at Thaddeus confession.*
Rachel: You... love me?
*She blushes, and her smile widens.*
