This is a record of my chapter and its deeds and its lore. For those of you who have been wondering what my sig was talking about this a blog talking about my custom chapter that has taken my 2 years to start and to refine. First i will start with the basics.

The Storm Crusaders are an ancient Chapter, being founded during an unknown founding. Though they can trace it back to the 3rd founding. They have fought in major campaigns in the ghoul stars. They are known as the “The Storm’s last Crusade.” Hence their chapter name is apporiate. The Storm crusaders are venerable warriors and fight with unmatched fury with the blade, though they are famed for their use with halbrieds. A Very unusual skill among astrates.
The Crusaders are a massive chapter and do not adhere to the codex astrates at any points but follow the Codex Ignatus, a tome created by the Storm Crusader’s 2nd Arch Templar, Malnar with much aid from his predecessor and his first captain, the only similarities are maintaining, a Libarius, Techmarines, Chaplains, Devastators, Tactical, Scouts, and Assualt squads the two are almost completely different. The Storm Crusaders have been highly successful though when it comes to prolonged sieges, defenses, and campaigning. Such is their skill with this the chapter usually employs entire companies filled with siege weaponry. The chapter itself maintains 34 companies. For every 10 companies there are in the Storm Crusaders these 10 are lead by 1 Grand Templar. In total there are 3 Grand Templars. The Chapter then also maintains Other Astartes that form either the 15th, 31st, 32nd, 33rd, or 34th companies. The Firebirds Classified as Criminals of the Chapter that are sent on pentience Crusades as a company. (Assualt Marines with Bolters) 31st The Paladins Classified as the Honor Guard of the Chapter Maintain only 124 of them at a time. (Honor Guard) (COnsider to be the 15th Company) The Reavers used to cause disruption in enemy lines. Teleport into battle with sosphicated technology. (Legion of the Damned) 32nd The Siege Company Techmarines and specialists used to construct defenses. (Extra Vechile Drivers) 33rd The First Guardians. Guard the Fortress Monestary gifted most relics of the chapter. And Guard the Vaults. None of them are pyskers. Only 80 of them are active at a time. 34th
Libarian Orders. (Taken from thousand sons, but different tasks) Disliked by puriests of the chapter. Maintain only 120 Members.
Well i do have some photos but they just are too blurry.
Alright here the pictures.
Also these pics were taken 4 months ago so they are outdated.
Then a basic idea of how i paint my models.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Well Anyway.
I am also starting to build up my terrian which will take forever. Comments, questions?? if not i'll bring in my secert weapon. >.<
Alrighty i need help and comments if you do not like my lore please critised.
Since this picture was taken i have added an additional predator, and i have redone the Vindicator And i have also added 3 razorbacks, and 3 rhinos, and 1 drop pod, and 2 dreadnoughts. Giving me a grand total of 5 dreadnoughts.
planning on remaking this, ever since i hated this thing, it has had a record of never killing anything, instead its known for its expolsions of itself. (damn overload). I have been wondering should i get a crusader or get a regular one of this? My other Land Raider is a regular one, and it is awesome : D. (thank you ebay)
Well i Have been working on some stuff. and the question still stands what should i get?
a Venerable Dreadnought (plastic kit)
or a land raider crusader/redeemer.
2: BT have more than 10 Companies (At last record, they're almost at Legion strength of 10,000) because they're a Crusading army that operates on the galactic fringes and does a lot of fighting against the Orks. They have no homeworld. The Inquisition has tried to get them declared Excommunicate multiple times for their extremely excessive numbers, but because they're fanatically zealous even by marine standards, because they're crucial to the backbone of the galactic West, and because they have no single homeworld and are thus always moving, they get off with nothing more than hurt feelings. Not to sound like a fluff Nazi or a buzzkill, but I really would think it unlikely that the bit of extra leash given to the BT would be extended to other chapters, considering the level of flak the BT already get.
Well My chapter attucally are part of the inqusition, the Storm Crusaders first chapter Master Asherian made a deal with the inqustion that the storm crusaders would lend half their chapter to the purposes of the inqustion and the other half would be campaiginers or defenders agianst the enemies of the imperium. The Strom Crusaders bascially were seperated, and every time they excude the amount of 7,000 they are to break down to form a new chapter. And so far there are 10 chapters that are descended from this.
My chapter is everywhere right now its in the ghoul stars, Armageddon, Grimnar (writing story on this one), Cadia, Calin system, and the southern imperium. On top of that the chapter is also fighting a war agianst Chaos Forces, in the systems surronding the MaelStorm. Only 7 compaines are stationed in The Home Systems.
Heres the Break Down where the chapter is.
1st,2nd, 10th, 22nd, Grimnar System.
4th, 5th, 14th, 23rd, Ghoul Stars
6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 16th, 17th and 18th Armageddon.
19th, 20th Cadia
24th, 25th, 26th Southern Imperium
27th, 21st, 15th, and Alpha Squadron Calin System.
The Inquisition already have the GK though. Why would they want/need another Chapter when they can just pull a mandate out of their arseholes and comandeer a chapter whenever they need to?
Qualude wrote:In IA7 the Inquisition uses SM other than the GK, whom have Inquisitional markings.
Probably, like I said, a Chapter that they've comandeered for the full duration of the campaign and fixed some nice big "I"s on them for the "You mah b***h now!" factor. But as far as I know, the Inquisition doesn't actually own any Chapter other than the GKs
Munch Munch! wrote:That's not a chapter. That's just a group made up from all the different chapters. It's made up of sm who show a knack for killing xenos scum.
Deathwatch -Is- a Chapter of sorts, it just doesn't recruit in the same way as the other Chapters, and it's rank and file aren't permenent. I guess it could be called a "Half-Chapter"
Well Anyway heres something.
The Chapter maybe 5,000 but, the 2,000 space marines are on a crusade are very different than their campaigning brethren. Basically the 2,000 crusaders are a seperate chapter in its own right, as they have their own chapter master, and they get their own types of recuritment. Each part of the chapter works differently and indepedently. Like the Alpha Squadron, which consists of marines from the successor chapters and any other elite marines in the entire chapter.
I also found this thanks to Dakkadakka
http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery It looks like as if i got my self some custom stuff!
Asherian Command wrote:No. look at the Black Templars.
Oh, yeah, forgot about them. Aren’t they like the size of several chapters because they are spread out over several crusade fleets? But they are only a thousand on paper
Thought about converting a few jacks myself for an admech force. Looking forward to see your take on them.
Well I am looking for them i can't seem to find the seller. I probaly asked this before but. Should i remake my Land Raider Terminus into either a Crusader or a Phobus?(regular) I've read some stuff on Warmachine and apparently they are not worth the money. So do not buy some of them because they have too much mold lines. Just a little warning. But i will start my grey knight army as well.
Thank you mess up when i put it to the P and M. Wasn't thinking straight staying up until midnight tends to do that to you.
Anyway Today I painted an entire tactical squad! First Tactical i have ever painted and so far they attucally look good.
Pics will be updated tommrrow, as it seems that i'm having a picture phobia. I found this at privater press.
And these models remind me of grey knights if you think i should do this for my grey knight termiantors just say so.
I had to mess around with some models so right now i have 15 grey knights all of which are custom. I will update photos as i have trouble with the camera. Also is i finnaly caculated how many points my army is its 11250.

They're mary sues. Just so you know. If your OK with it, great. My chapter is a bit mary suesy itself. But just know that is going to be a complaint.
Why? I'm not seeing a lot of faults, and you are breaking a lot of fluff to be better than the original chapters. Only a few of the fluff chapters break the 1k size cap, and of those only the BT by much. And they go to GREAT lengths to hide it, and have thousands of years of history and allies backing them up.
Making a deal with and teaming up with the inquisition is also a bit suey. Due to culture and politics it isn't done. It puts way too much power into the hands of a few. Likely the inquisitor in question would himself be declared excommunicatus, let alone the chapter. Too much power, too dangerous, and too against the grain of imperial culture. Balances of power are carefully watched, and this sort of situation tips the balance far too much to be allowed.
So it comes off as a bit "My chapter is super awesome, and they have, and they can, and, and, and..."
That being said...
I am not telling you this is BAD and not suggesting you change your chapter. Your game, your chapter, your fun. If you care about stuff like that, those are my observations. If you don't, don't worry about it.
Well it is ignorant to say that my chapter is the best. But i haven't covered the flaws of the chapter itself. It doesn't make this chapter the best. Plus their are chapters that break the 1,000 limit. And so far their are 30, Space Wolves, Exorcists, etc. Plus your the first person to notice the mix, i have taken ideas from other chapters. The Crusader Part is Clearly Black Templars, And they are controlled by another Chapter Master. The Campaginers or the Regular part of the chapter is based on the Dark Angels.
These two chapters don't make sense being together though. Plus do you really believe the Dark Angels only have 1,000 space marines? And the Ultramarines? Read Cassius proflie it says they made an exception. Who says they didn't for this chapter?
It just matters if you read indepth in the lore. I have read almost every single index astrates and everything about the GW chapters, and I can tell you that they hint that the chapters are more than 1,000.
I agree. I do read the in-depth lore and the 1k thing is more political than anything. The actual numbers fluctuate wildly, especially in times of war, and likely often go higher, far higher, than the stated limit. The limit is also gotten around through successor chapters. Sure the DA and UM only have around 1-2k marines, but they have a habit of giving orders to their "successors," who often see themselves as members of their parent chapters. And you have chapters like the SW who flaunt the caps as well.
But the thing with all of those is how careful they have to be. The SW can do it because of their history, power, and allies. The Black Templar can do it, but they also have that long history, allies, are a linch pin of the western expanse, and even then do their very best to hide it. The UM clearly have so much clout on terra they can basically do whatever the heck they want.
The imperium is all about politics. The founding chapters, and some of the second founding chapters, have a lot of political clout. No inquisitor could declare excommunicatus on the UM or SW. The younger chapters have to be more careful.
If I were to make a suggestion about your own chapter history it would be to take that into account. Even inquisitors aren't all powerful, despite what official policy may say. When one of the younger chapters wants to "break the rules" they need to be more careful. The 1k thing is political, so most chapters have to LOOK like they are following it. Only the most ancient/powerful chapters can openly flaunt breaking the rules, and even then most of them can't do it permanently. All others should be very careful about how they accomplish what they do. Maybe they pull a DA or UM and break into "successor" chapters that still seem to answer to the parent. Maybe they spread their numbers around like the BT to keep their actual count secret. Maybe they are on the far rim where imperial influence is weak, and the inquisition does not have power.
My chapter is located in the ghoul stars which is pretty far away from Imperail Control. So Bascially the chapter has not been gather together in 5,000 years.
Plus my chapter is an old chapter. It was made in the Second Founding. So its not like the chapter is young,
Asherian Command wrote:My chapter is located in the ghoul stars which is pretty far away from Imperial Control. So Basically the chapter has not been gather together in 5,000 years.

And you might very well be fine. Space marines by nature lend themselves to be mary sues. Its more about balance than anything. The more mary sue attributes you take the better the fluff has to be to justify it.
Being second founding for instance is another red flag. They are fairly well documented, and usually it is best to avoid claiming to be one. But that does not mean your chapter CAN'T be one. Just that it does not so much mitigate fluff problems as exacerbate them.
They are bigger than normal, ancient and powerful, ties with the inquisition, second founding, and crusaders. These are aspects that lend them a bit of a mary sue feel. However with good fluff and justification that isn't necessarily a problem. It sounds like you are aware of the fluff and trying to keep it under control, which is the main thing.
For reference, if I were to critique my own chapter they are crusaders, control a large section of space, have ties with inquisitors, are not quite grimdark enough, and followed a prophet/messianic figure. These are red flags and I have to watch it.
So like I said at first, a medium critique. Not necessarily saying you need to change anything, just pointing out that those are some elements that will take some extra care to implement well.
The only really rough bit for me is large size and the inquisitorial ties. It seems like someone somewhere should be very mad about that. But that isn't a bad thing, and doesn't mean it should exist. Just that it should be accounted for.
That could be used to add some extra conflict to you chapters history though. Instead of everyone being fine with it perhaps there is a faction of the inquisition that is opposed to your chapter and the inquisitors that support it. Maybe they have to hide their numbers. I don't know. I think it is more of an opportunity than a problem though.
Alrighty i've been building and painting this past weekend and i completely forgotten about my army pics -.-. And also my lore has been worked on as well, sorry for not posting in a while.
But anyway i was building a new squad of Space marines that had a problem with size, bascially there was 5 of them and found 5 unused marines which looked horrible, so took them apart and made them into a sternguard squad, 2 of which are plasma gunners and one more marine is a combi-plasma (azraels) and a custom made combi-flamer, and i also made a custom arm for my Sergeant this is by far my most difficult squad i have made so far. Each arm was either clipped off and glued and filed down to fit onto each other or they were take from a chaos warrior arm. Another Annonucement is that i finished my Vulkan, and my Shrike!
My Vulkan looks ok. But my Shrike was built from scratch XD, and he took the longest to build because it was a broken body from one of my brothers conversions(his wolflord which is now illegal!) and some of my space wolf stuff from my battleforce i bought a month ago.
Also I got 3 free grey knights and now i have a grey knight squad! All of which will be created into my custom Custodian Guard Squads for Apoclypse!
Also some more news I finnaly painted one terminator squad and 3 tactical squads and 3 terminators, and a terminator libarian!
So you see why i have been so busy. Also this week was testmania, as this week we had to study for too much.
MORE NEWS! By far the coolest thing I found this week was that i read the entire blood angels Codex!
IT BLEW MY MIND AWAY!
The New Units are
Sanguaitor
Sanquis guard
Flamestorm Predator,
Libarian Dreadnought
and 4 New Special Characters!
new Death Company models!
New Assualt Marine models!
MK2 helmets!
Alot of new Psychic Powers!
New Rules!
New Stories!
Flesh Tearer's Have a Special Characters!
This new codex was awesome.
Another thing is that land raiders can be taken as dedicated transports, and not only that but the Chapter has more details on the flaw, and all of the successor chapters, it is the biggest upgrade i have ever seen, also i found out that all of the new stuff is in plastic, minus the heroes of course.
Yeah i'm heading down to my LGS. And i'll be painting today so i will as soon as possible get these pics up! NO MATTER THE COST! (well unless if it will cost my life then no)
Well tommrrow is my 10th aniversey of my hobbing time! it is also my birthday! So basically i will be playing mass effect 2 and writing alot of lore.
Automatically Appended Next Post: ON a Related note i have started to redo parts of my Terminator Squads! I'm finnaly painting my 21st company Terminators!
My plan is to paint my entire 10th company! Which I still need to complete, but i'm waiting for the release of the blood angels as it seems the 10th follows their termnolalogy and also that they have mark 2 and mark 3 which i'm trying to get!
The 10th company is lead by Captain Loken Malicith, a tactican and a great warrior. His 10th Company are his elite warriors that would follow him to the pits of hell itself. Loken is a strange figure in that he is very "human" his emotion spikes at times and can be seen as a juvenile compared to his older battle brothers. The 10 Segearnts under his command are all warriors without peer and most of them specialize in the way of the sword, the company usually takes to the field in an armored assualt. The 10th company is known as the Iron Wolves, this name shows with their usual tactic of an armored assualt and ambushes.
The 2 leaders dispatched with Loken are Chief Libarian Talnar and Chaplain Roquir. Chief Libarian Talnar is one of 5 Chief Libarian's who maintain the chapter's massive libariarus. Chaokaub Roquir is loken's tutor and trainier, the Chaplain is also the oldest living member in the 10th Company.
Following the 10th Company to war is former 1st Company Captain Garane. Garane is entombed in a Dreadnought, due to his venerable status he is never put out into the front lines, but he does usually ignore this and fights in the fronts of battle.
The 10ths Tactical Squads all are equiped with anti infantry weaponry. The two leading tactical squads are Lucius and Logar. Lucius is a swordsmen with intellgence and tactical intuition, Logar is the shoot first ask questions later type of Segreant. The last Two Segerants are Valicorn and Brother Segerant Kalin. Valicorn is a swordsmen as well but he is mostly known for his skills with a storm bolter, he has accounted for 20 marksmen honors. Brother Segerant Kalin is the youngest of the 4 tactical Segerants, he bears a poweraxe a incredibley rare version of a power weapon, but he gained this after he slew a necron lord in combat (true story).
The Assualt Squad Segerants are Jackal, Goron, and Jenkins. Segerant Jackal is the hot headed leader of the insertion squad beta, a squad that has deemed many honors for striking in the heart of the enemy. Goron is the pyschotic warrior weilding a twin thunder hammer, till this day noone knows why he carries them. Jenkins is the fool hardy joker of the 10th, his inspirational deeds have gained him status in the Chapter itself.
The Devastor Squad segerants are by far the greatest marksmen in the entire chapter they are Yain, Helis, and Balin. Yain is the second oldest member of the company but he is one of glory day warriors. Helis is the hot headed heavy bolter expert with the finest aim in the company. Balin is the patient hunter whose tank hunting skills are behind imaginable.
The 10th company also has 2 sternguard squads and a Terminator Squad that is joint with it.
The Stern Guard Segerant is Templar Garro, and Templar Nihilus. Garro is a patient, cunning warrior, he is also a bearer of the Iron Halo and the Sword of the Temple with the sword arm of even Loken Himself. Nihilus is a sword master as well but unlike Garro he is more tacticful and bolder than Garro.
The Terminator Squad Segerant is Ulrius, he is one of the most daring of all the squads. He and his squad deepstrike into the heart of the enemy. He is bold and he is known as the "The Devil's Fool".
OK I NEED COMMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Automatically Appended Next Post: OK!
Is that good lore or should i do something about it?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Well anyway
Space Marine 1st company is almost done i just have to remodel all 100 of them. -.-
Automatically Appended Next Post: I saw all the new blood angels stuff and i thought hmmm the Sangianurary guard remind me of Calnor Alrnia's bodyguards, Well it looks like i'm gonna get some and a new Venerable Dreadnought!
OK! I have 80$ and i'm planning on spending. So I was wondering should I a.buy some cheap marines off my friend who quit. or B.wait for the Blood Angels stuff to come out so i can buy Venerable Dreadnought and Death Company? or C. wait till summer! To spend money and buy it in mass. Oh by the way this is what i'm going to purchase for my army if i go with b or c. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1430057&prodId=prod680006a
Alrighty I was not expecting to a comment in 3 months of this last activity. But ok! I am begining to start a new Thing called Crackdown2! Which is coming out in July 6th enjoy this trailer!
and the Machinmia!
I have been gone working on other projects I have been working on Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 maps and on the Hive so! Yeah.... Well anyway if people like this daily update. I will keep posting!
Ok people I have come out with a new Idea THE ODSM!
Orbital Drop Space Marines. Which will use Drop pods. And will be SternGuard with lots of combi-weapons. I will give them special Helmets to honor their position as they should deserve so. I would like to get feed back about this. I will post pics of my new Dreadnought this week!
Yeah I know just asking if I should give them Special Helmets To show them as just only Drop troopers. So that I can tell the difference between my 320 marines. XD The idea was just thrown out there.
Well. its just so I can put them in the Right Squads. So that I don't accidently put a Marine in a Devastor Sternguard Squad.
I'm not an Iduiot its just that it would be great if I could tell the differnence its not like they are the same its just that I have too many on the field nowadays.
Also ahead I have started to make new Lore. About the Crusading Parts of the Chapter. While i was gone for a week, I also read thousand Sons. Which I liked except that Ahriman Could bend someones soul O.o. Anyway It inspired me to write and make some Librarians. As it seems that I completely forgot about them.
So far I'm planning on getting some green stuff and Some Sanguinary guard and Death Company for items to use as force weapons. Anyway I will also put a vote up to see if one of these 5 things will happen to Asherian.
1- He is not Asherian but a Alien\Traitor Human. Storm Crusaders find out about it and start a civil war on Drancoris. Storm Crusaders have a new symbol.
2- He is a Primarch and survives Wars and brings the Storm Crusaders into a New age of progression. Storm Crusaders have a new symbol.
3- He Dies in combat and is found to be Malnar and Calnor Becomes the Supreme Grand Commander. And they discover a Flaw. And find they are descended from the Blood Angels. At that Asherian was Sangunius. Storm Crusaders have a new symbol.
4-The Chapter Breaks apart and Asherian dies of heart Attack- (This is a joke.) Storm Crusaders have a new symbol.
5- It turns out to Be Malnar. And Leads the Storm Crusaders into a new era of progression. Storm Crusaders have a new symbol.
Note: In all of these the Storm Crusaders will get the Symbol of the Raven with symbol of the Crusader in One.
Asherian Command wrote:ok i'll get them up. they are not painted well. Because i recently just started to paint them
The pictures didn't load on my computer. I'm going to try to follow the links I can see by quoting you.
Nope. Didn't work. It says they are 1 by 1 pixel size.
AH DAMN LAG! Also guys please comment :*( Alpha Squadron Alpha Squadron is organized into 5 man squads. Each squad is given a specefic funtiction as such each squad must peform tasks assigned too them by a specific Grand Guardian. Each Alpha Squad is moblizied in different compainies and are given certain weapons for their jobs. Each Squad is also given a specific name and Target of interest. Each member that survives the Alpha Squadron Trials become captains after the trails are completed. There are 30 squads in total. But only 20 are active at one time. The 10 other squads are kept with the Grand Templars. Each Alpha Squadron Leader is also given a specific duty in the chapter. And are also told of the secrets of the chapter. Many Librarians are joint into Alpha Squads as acting as seers and powerful aids against demons. Librarians are joint to these squads for extended periods. Each squad member when he joins the Alpha Squadron Abandons all names and titles until the trails are finished. But the most famous Alpha Squads is the Squad Calnor Alrnia, Malick Tori, Val Yoal, Mortis "Wolf", Garane Oron, and Talick Tori, are one of the most legendary squads of the alpha squadron.
Alrighty i will be writing a story very soon. So if you want to edit and help with it. Its called Iron Stone. Calnor and his Honor Guard stood at the front of a massive Golden door. Calnor Smilied and his Honor Guard followed his stride. Calnor Walked towards the Massive Golden doors. His body striding with unmatched proficiency. The Doors slid open with a thud as he walked in unopposed. The Chamber was huge, the room was large enough to hold a Warhound unheeded. Calnor stopped and knelled before the 5 Council members. The 5 Council Members were solid and wonders to behold, any normal man would of faltered. But Not Calnor. These Men these Space Marines were his Brothers. Calnor knew each one of them. The Hawk Helmed Warrior held a Double Bladed Spear, Another Had a Crusader Helmet and held Two Swords both identical to each other, each echoing of power. The Next Member held a single sword but his Helmet echoed his Authority, His should pad labbed him as Grand Commander Malnar. The Next held Two lightning claws all rippling with power and his beaked helmet was that of a raven, Majestic and Fearsome at the same time. The Next Held a Hammer with a single hand, unlike his brethren he didn't wear an elaborate helmet, it was simple and fearsome at the same time. "Stand Calnor Alrnia." Ordered the Council member with the Hawk Helm. Calnor Stood. His eyes adjusting to the Dark room. "Council? Why have you called me here?" Calnor Asked. "We have called you here to tell of a new Campagin, Alrnia. You are to leave with Four Compainies of your choosing and your Honor Guard." Told Malnar. His voice commanding and that of a General. Calnor winced at the mention of his last name and of a new Campaign. "Where must I go?" Calnor gingerly asked, he rolled his eyes towards the Double Speared Council Member. The Hawk Helmed Warrior laughed. "Calnor, I am your friend but this is dire, you must go to the Griminar System." Calnor eyes opened at the mention of the Griminar System. "Calnor its been a while since you been there eh? Hell i was with you there!" Calnor shook off the memories. And looked at his Friend. "Val, Why must I go?" The Hawked Helmed Warrior who was identified as Val spoke with fierce hate in his voice. "Inquisitor Lord Cortez Requests it." His words were spat like poison. The other three Council members knew of why he's hate for this inquisitor but they did not speak. Calnor looked at the beaked marine and asked. "Why can't you go with me Naroth?" Naroth winced as his name was called. His eyes darted down. Even through his helmet Calnor knew that Naroth regretted being here. "Why must I go without my Brothers in arms?" The Warrior with the two swords spoke. "Calnor I do not wish this either. But Inquisitor Cortez requested it. And it must be done!" Calnor looked up. "But Kalin its our choice as a chapter to decide it!" Kalin Laughed. "Calnor, we cannot disagree with an Inquisitor or else it is called heresy!" The Last Council Member looked up and nodded. His hammer swung to the ground making a huge bang against the Marble. "Calnor, I hate the bastard more than you! But we must abide or else he'll get rid of our chapter, and exspell our Secrets!" Calnor laughed. His eyes meet the Last Council Member. "I know Talick you don't need to repeat exactly what Kalin said." Talick spat. "Don't Mock me boy!" Calnor Stood up and bowed. "I will take the companies to the Grimnar system. I shall gather the 1st, 2nd, 10th and 22nd companies to join me." (Ok updated with new lore. What yah guys think )
In order to save money and not spend $765 on a Thunderhawk gunship. I was thinking of converting my Republic Gunship from starwars into a Thunder Hawk Transport! Heres what it looks like. I'm planning on buying some bits from the Baneblade and adding it to the Thunderhawk to give it a good enough amount of weapons to follow the Thunderhawk rules. Not only that but it can acutally hold a land raider! Or 30 marines. Unlike its bulky cousin! I was wondering if anyone has tried this? Not only that but i'm going to shave off anything i don't like the bottom pointy things are no go. So they are going. Ok. Why is no one commenting -.- Fail.
Ok so what kit should i take. The baneblade or the Terminus conversion kit?
I need help on this one.
Automatically Appended Next Post: i just looked up thunderhawk conversions. And i got 0 results. But i did find this
http://stormwardens.blogspot.com/ This painting stuff blew my mind!
Asherian Command wrote:Well. its just so I can put them in the Right Squads. So that I don't accidently put a Marine in a Devastor Sternguard Squad.
I'm not an Iduiot its just that it would be great if I could tell the differnence its not like they are the same its just that I have too many on the field nowadays.
I use squad markings. I also mark the underside of the base to match squads up. Like writing 21A on the underside. They belong to the 21st company, first squad. Not hard to do mate.
good job on these guys, as for everyone saying I has just grey knights look into the background a bit more and you'll find they also have the exorcists
Thats awesome dude!
Well anyway thunderhawk parts are hard to find!
I will keep looking until i find more parts and more paints. As i only have 40 paints that are all from 4th edition
I understand. But i have something for you that will get rid of the only one thing that you hate. I am bringing the Storm Crusaders and splitting them in half. The Crusaders gene pool is no longer recognizable to their cousins. Interesting story behind it too XD.
Also the Chapter has 3,000. Now. That I am focusing on. But it doesn't mean that I won't play the other 3,000 crusaders.
So basically the New chapter is called the Storm Jackals and the other which I am focusing on is the Storm Crusaders, who has Calnor Alrnia, etc.
Two chapters of 3,000 is still just too big. I could see one "chapter" of 3k flying under the radar, but more than that and it gets a bit incredible. The Black Templars are somewhat remarkable in that not only do they have "more" than 1,000 marines, but that they've been able to fudge the books for so long and get away with it.
Honestly, I think you'd have a lot more fun if you just split out your 6k marines into 6 unique chapters and created some brand new star cluster in Segmentum Obscuras or on the Galactic Fringe that they all share dominion over. That'd give you a lot of background opportunity with interplay between your chapters and it would be much more *reasonable* from a canon perspective. I think that a whole new interstellar dominion is far more interesting than 'ONE MOAR HUMUNGUS SPEZ MAREENZ PLANET' floating around.
Agreed, a 6K chapter is faaaar too much. 1500 I could believe. The BT only get away with Legion strength because they're split into several Crusade fleets numbering anywhere from 100 marines to 1000.
Like Sourclams said, split them into 6 different chapters, and just do a Joint Task Force or something.
Well. Heres what is here. The Storm Crusaders have different campagians and are spread across the Gaxaly. The Chapter has not been together since the 32nd millienia. The Chapters companies are thrown randomly. If another company comes into contact with another one it is incredibly rare. Calnor gets 4 companies only because he is a Grand Templar. Which is the 2nd Highest Rank. He controls these compainies because the 4 of them are usually joint with each other in huge campagains. The Crusades are different in that they are sent all over the place. And it orginially came down to that each 1,000 Storm Crusaders is different in their doctrines, organization, tactical abilities. Etc. So it is 3 different chapters in a sense. But it only shows one color. The Dark Green. Because all Storm Crusaders are Masters of Jungle Fighting. But it is extremely rare for anyone to meet a Captain of the Storm Crusaders. They Chapter is also spread so thin. That It would break the back of any ordinary chapter. And also. I have named 6 chapters. Storm Jackals, Sons of the Phoenix, Black Fists, Blade Knights, Storm Crusaders, and the Red Ravagers. (sorry guys was away at work. Damn Scouts.)
The Storm Crusaders Iron Stone Chapter 2. Loken stood at attention. His company's colors were shown next to him. His Command Squad silently stood at attention as well. Unmoving Statues. Calnor Walked towards Loken and his command. "Loken, I will be on your Command Ship, with a handful of my Guardians." Loken nodded. He was overwhelmed. But who could blame him? He was standing infront of Calnor Alrnia a Grand Templar, the equal of Marneus Calgar of the Ultramarines. Calnor was Inspirational to Loken. He was his hero and Commander. Loken would Follow Calnor to hell and back, if it was necessary. "Calnor." Loken began, his voice shaking. "Who else is joining us?" The 10th Company Chaplain, Chaplain Maretus. Spoke. "Loken, I may be able to answer that for you." Maretus, was a highly respected Chaplain, and friend to Calnor Alrnia. Maretus was the Chaplain that even inducted Calnor into the Storm Crusaders. He was older than Calnor. Who Calnor himself was over 850 years. Calnor Looked at Maretus with his golden eyes. And Nodded. Relaying that it was alright to speak. Maretus breathed. "The 1st, 2nd and 22nd compainies are joining. All 3 of these compainies are well known and honored by our Company." Loken Smilied. Finnaly, he thought, a chance to show my worth to my Brothers, for it has been too long since the War for Drancoris. "Loken, I must attend. This Second a very important matter with an Inqusitor Cortez. If you will excuse my vanity." Calnor Bowed. And he walked away swiftly. Loken turned to his fully assembled company. Loken yelled with Power and it did not falter. "Iron Wolves, We leave in 0200 Hours for war! Let the Emperor Bless our company as we fight in the Grimnar System! And Our Grand Templar Calnor Alrnia joins us! And we must prepare for a war that could make us Legends or Dishonors! We will Win this Campagin! For thy Emperor and For the Peoples of the Imperium!" A Loud cheer roared from the Company. Maretus put his hand on lokens shoulder. Loken Nodded. His days of glory had come. For it was he who was leading the Attack. O-------------------------------------------------------O
So how was it? If i need to improve just say so. But I'm not good at writing down a good flowing story.
Hiya Dakkadakkites!
I have been working on some stuff for a while but not on my chapter.
Its called the Daily Peon.
Me and group of Terrainiers from the Hiveworkshop made a social group and rped in it
If you would like to check it out go here
But the only thing is. We are not recuriting anylonger.
http://dailypeon.wikia.com/wiki/The_Daily_Peon_Wiki Here is the website.
Please do not edit them D: we are still finishing up the Wiki.
And the best part is. i'm the only american in the entire group
Alrighty Here is one of my chapters more Iconic Characters. And a Character that I completely made from scratch criticism would be helpful.... See new updated Version in ASherian Commands.
Wheyhey over-powered and under-costed if I'm honest.
Relic Blade that re-roll's wounds combined with the usual Chapter Master statistics means that he's very deadly in close combat.
2+,4++, FNP and 3 wounds means that he's very tough.
Astartes Launcher, Combi-melta and a relic blade would require him to have 4 arms and makes him deadly at range.
Jump pack gives him mobility.
So he's tough in close combat and range, fast and tough and has incredibly powerful rules.
As for his combat tactics special rule, it puts Vulkan to shame. Power weapons are more common than thunder-hammers, the only real flaw of plasma weapons - gets hot - is nullified due to TL and to top it all off you get TL bolters. The furious charge one is a much more reasonable idea IMHO.
Making Sternguard scoring is very powerful, particularly as they'll all be having combi-plasmas let alone allowing more honour guard.
I apologise for being so critical but he really is very over-powered, particularly for his price. Compare him to the 275pts Logan Grimnar and you may see what I mean.
Oh and his fluff is a bit OTT as well.
Maybe i'm just being too harsh but it really needs reviewing IMHO.
HMMM HHMMM HMM well i just read your entire thread and in conjunction with the shields id love to work with you and your many storm named chapters i think the first bit of business is to consolidate your chapter/chapters so that there is not so much up in the air and work it out so that the other dakkites dont flak your ideas so much
Yeah the character Calnor Alrnia actually was a model i came up with one day. And said ok this is my segerant Calnor Alrnia. First game ever. Calnor Alrnia beats up an entire 10 gaunt force with his powersword. 2nd game of using him. He gets into combat with a chaos lord. Kills him. 3rd game kills a demon prince. 4th game is now a Libarain and destorys a Warlord Titan. 5th game Fights a primarch, Calnor kills him in one turn. 6th game full fledged Captain kills Gazghul. 7th game takes a wound kills a entire squad of Marines. 8th game full fledged Chapter Master kills 2 chapter master jumps into combat destorying a whirlwind in the process. 9th game owns a demon prince of khorne with his melta-bolter.
And i agree i need to fix up parts of my lore. But the Calnor Alrnia stuff i'm not touching. Because he is just too badass of a character as he has only died in one game. And that one was only because this cherck decided to place my company in the worst place. and I got bombarded by orbital bombardments.
But yeah. I will work on some parts of the lore and add to it. The Flaw thing i'm still thinking about. Because this chapter is too perfect.
Well your flaw let me think about your flaw dun dun dun DUN DUN well you know you have a force of marines that have well exceeded the normal chapter size of 1000 marines well what if
there was a cult formed by ordinary imperial citizens like how you know like the free masons in real life or the secret organization could be made up of Astarte's who the inquisition
selected to thin the numbers of your chapter escape from there custody and travel the cosmos following secert signs left behind until they can fulfill there duties to the chapter or left with a clandestine mission to destroy some thing i dont know just shooting you some idea;s ..
it could work. But the Flaw thing is just a test. Its not like something that i like pacticular. I just needed something to make them have a drawback like all chapters.
It says in his background he has the Angel Armour but in his wargear he has the Armour of the Crusader.
Is the Angel armour that valuable he doesn't wear it?
battle Brother Lucifer wrote:He killed a Primarch? What game were you playing? (Apoc, I assume)

Angron. And all of his greater demons with some help from a few grey knights that teleported in. We were doing a Legends battle. My Libarian (calnor) teleported in and killed the bastard in one turn of combat by using a legion relic. And combined with might of heroes = instant win.
purplefood wrote:It says in his background he has the Angel Armour but in his wargear he has the Armour of the Crusader.

Yeah. He guards it. It is the originial armor of the first Chapter Master. It is Terminator Armor. But i'm waiting till the grey knight/ inquistion book comes out so that i can place him as a psyker. As he is a pysker in lore.
Armor of the Crusader is his armor.
Chapter Master: Grand Templar Calnor Alrnia and Asherian
Battle Cry: (need one )
Chapter no: 124
Chapter Symbol: Angel of Time
Homeworld: Drancoris Sector.
Number of Compaines: 50
Geneseed: (expunged)
The Storm Crusaders are a massive chapter containing at least 6,000 Space Marines. (inculdes every space marine, except scouts.) Due to its large size it is often sent on campagians, that are long and bloody. The Chapter is orgainized into compaines like normal space marine chapters but this chapter differs in its names and its orginzation of its compainies. The 2-5 Compaines are Battle Compaines, that are usually sent on campagians in the Ghoul Stars, the 6th-9 compaines are reserve compaines that protect the fortress Monestary from harm. The 10th,14,16,17,18th,19th,20th,22nd and the 23rd are all Campagianing Companies, These are the main bulk of the chapter, but unlike battle compaines they specialize in a certain type of Battle Brother (Devastor and Assualt Squad). For Example the 10th Company Nicknamed the Iron Wolves by other Imperail Orgainzations has 4 Tactical Squads, 3 Assualt Squads, and 3 Devastor Squads. Compared to the 20th company which consists of 4 Tactical, 4 Devastors, and 2 Assualt Squads. All of the companies are very indepedent from the Chapter, each company holds a fortress or Outpost in which to recurit more troops for the chapter and their company. The reason why none of the compaines that are above do not have any numerals passing 31 is that the rest of the chapter that is the 31st-50th compaines are all Crusading Compaines.
Unlike Most Chapters the Storm Crusaders have 5 Elite Compaines. They are orgainized into these 5 orgianzations, they so follow, the 15th The Guardians-The Defenders of the Storm Crusader's Fortress Monestary. Alpha Squadron has no company marking but is instead the special forces of the chapter, as their name dicates they deal with some of the most fearsome oppenents in the gaxaly. (Bascially DeathWatch but in the chapter instead). The 31st Company is the Brothers of the Sword, a large company only consisting of Vanguard and SternGuard Veterans. The 21st Company is a company only consisting of Termiantors. And finnaly the 1st Company Consisting of a Mix between Vanguard, Sternguard, and Terminators.
The Chapter History!
The Second Founding-The Chapter is formed into the Dusk Legion.
The First War-no offical name exists of its history, the Dusk Legion is attacked by chaos forces, Asherain put into stasis
The Refounding-The Chapter is renamed and remodeled after their First Chapter Master Asherain.
The Second War-Grand Commander Malnar leds defence of Drancrois and defeats the (SUPPRESSED) Empire, all knowledge of the event has been wiped
-Alpha Squadron Formed-
The Grimnar Campagin- Malnar Is killed in the Campagin, offical knowledge is lost after the third war
The Crusades- The Storm Crusaders are Recolored and renamed to better fit the standards put on them, the chapter is split and the compaines act indepedently
The Third War- Grand Templar (SUPPRESSED) leads an attack on a Orc Warlord, Orc Warlord retalitates and fights agianst the Drancorain Empire
Discovery- Long lost Technology found in The Vaults, Geneseed (SUPPRESSED) also found.
The Lost Campagain- Arrival of Calnor Alrnia in the Chapter, Calnor Quickly masters and 150 years in the chapter and He joins Alpha Squadron
The Fourth War- Grand Templar Malis is killed in combat, Calnor Alrnia is named his successor, Loken and his 10th company fight off 10,000 Cultists.
The Sixth War- Ongoing war.. No Current news
The 10th company!
He is bold and he is known as the "The Devil's Fool".
. The Storm Crusaders have different campagians and are spread across the Gaxaly. The Chapter has not been together since the 32nd millienia. The Chapters companies are thrown randomly.
A Legend Among the Storm Crusaders Calnor Alrnia is the Grand Templar of the Storm Crusaders. His services in the Imperium date back over 8 centuries. His first years of a Space Marine Showed a promising young Neophyte with the honor of a Warrior, he's ambitions to be the best, and to one day save humanity grown even more closer. Calnor Alrnia was once part of the Alpha Squadron along with Val and Malick. And the three of them are now brothers in arms and Leaders of the Chapter. As a Grand Templar Calnor Alrnia is the embodiment of the Chapter. Calnor is proud, taciturn, intelligent, a natural leader. He is fearless as a warrior and his swordsmanship is only matched by the Black Templar's High Marshal. Calnor is also bearer of two relics of the chapter. The Talnris, a sword of an ever burning spirit and the Angel Armor, the self repairing armor and the spirit of the chapter. Truly Calnor is a legend, as he has taken slew of enemies. Killing of a Daemon Prince in the Griminar System, Assassination of a Chaos Lord, Killing of a Dark Eldar Lord, and even banishing over 200 demons in his time in the Storm Crusaders, this is but a small fraction of acts he has done. As the missions of his time in the Alpha Squadron are still shrouded in Mystery. But Calnor Alrnia Bears a secret that all of the Members of the Chapter Council hold as a burden. To speak of it would mean death. And those outside of the Council would meet their death because of this secret.

The 1st Company.
The 1st company is lead by Captain Navious..
Captain Navious is Relatively new to his position . Though his experience is not questioned. It is merely his youth. As he is a replacement for the Late Captain Garane. Even though he may not live up to the Captain's Legendary performance as a captain. Navious is a extraordinary leader and tactician. Navious is also a great warrior and he can easily adapt to any situation that arises. Though he is inexperienced has his sergeants to aid hin this new endeavor...
The 1st has 6 Sternguard squads, 3 Vanguard Squads, and 1 Fully Equipped Terminator Squad. The First is where the recruits of 21st and 15th companies arise from. Needless to say they are technically the greatest soldiers in the chapter. But they are just recruits for the 2 other companies.
The Flaw. -Appending Approval-Unofficial lore-
One of the chapters most guarded secrets is Something called the 13th Sign. This sign is when the pyschi of the Astrates goes rampant and instead of normaly function goes into a state of change. His body slowly grows faster but his sanity slowly slips away, and a mutations all over the Astrates body is slowly twisted. This is believed to of been started by the Demon Lord Calis. As his blood was split on the geneseed of the 25th and 5th compaines. Needless to say. Any Neyphote given this even after passing the 19 Trails. Are tainted and have been known to randomly turn into a beast of carnage. As his new form shows no recognizable to the old Astrates. It sometimes takes years for the 13th sign to appear on Asprints. But this Flaw is very rare. As only the geneseed of 25th and 5th Companies show the most of these failed Aspirants.
The Founding Legion
The Founding Legion of the Storm Crusaders is still unknown today. But many Imperial Scholars point towards the possible 2nd or 11th lost legions. As their geneseed shows no similarities to any other chapter's geneseed. But many Scholars and scribes point towards the Blood Angels, or even the Ultramarines. As their visionary ways of setting up a better Future for Humanity is Abundant in the Storm Crusaders. Truth is that No one except the Guarded secrets of the Council know the Answer to this question.
Automatically Appended Next Post: just thought i would consolidate your post so i wouldnt have to click and scroll so much
Automatically Appended Next Post: Ok one thing that i could think of to make your chapter more flawed is to give them a mongrel gene seed mix it up up a little dont make them so pure give em a lil mud in there blood..Second why wouldn't there be any scouts IMO i think the only reason why so many chapters can field chapters at full strength is the fact that neophytes make up a good portion of there back bone...i mean your doing a knight themed army so why wouldn't there be a squire to your knight...6,000 marines in 50 companies so each company fielded at least 120 marines thats not a ridiculous sized company but when you combine that into a chapter of 50 gee Louise monstrous and a lil bit unrealistic what if some companies were just half marines and scouts you know to act like a knight and squire training groups and at least one or two of your companies could be just pure neophytes and these chapters could called the masonic compaines as they await for a master to build them into marines dun dun dun

Thank you so much I'll think about it. I've been working on the lore. I've actually decided to split the 6,000 chapter. The crusaders are nolonger recongizable to their ordinary battle brother from the campaigning portion of the chapter. Plus 6,000 is a huge number of marines. SO in order for me to get rid of that number. I was planning splitting the chapter in half. 3,000 would stay the Crusaders and the other 3,000 the crusading elements would become a new Chapter. I forgot to add that lore. My bad :S But anyway i will try and find a good drawback that would break a chapter if it was ever found out. I liked the idea of Rampancy where a marine basically starts to develop individualism. Thats what i have decided to do. Make a more Individualistic chapter. Where each marine seeks his own dependencies. This is a great strength but a great risk at the same time. Like how I have marines that are extremely bold and go immedately into the fight without a second thought. And the rivalery in the chapter is huge. Plus i was planning on adding the Ranking System sometime. I forget it. But it is completely different than any other chapter. So basically i'm going to have unlucky amount of aspriants turn into a darker thing where their psychic potential devours them. So I am going to give them a drawback. But I don't know what D: I would like some ideas on it.
The Storm Crusaders Ranks Neophyte- First rank of the chapter, first inducted into the chapter Initaite- Astrates getting use to new physiclogical state. Subject to 5 tests. And sent to become a Warrior or a Guardian. Warrior- Primary rank of the chapter ( Tactical, assault, devastor marine) -Crusader (2nd rank)- Crusaders rank in the Crusading Companies -Master- Rank given to those who exceed in tank command Knight- Leaders of the warriors and Knights. (Sergeants) Librarian- Mage- Sorcerer- Magi- Pysker of the rank of Lexi Templar-Veterans of many campaigns. (Veterans, SternGuard and Vanguard Veterans who have claimed full status and have been allowed to access relics like powerweapons and relicblades. SternGuards are allowed to use plasma weaponry, and new weaponry.) Guardian-pyskers with exceedingly powerful pyschic powers. Trained to use the Nemsis Force Weapons are all part of the 15th company. Librarian-Master Mage- Higher rank of the Libarius. Main bulk of Libarius. Master Librarian- 2nd highest rank of the Libarius Chief Librarian- Lord of the Mystics- At least 6 Chief Librarians at one time. Lord- Veterans who bare terminator armor. (Also veteran sergeants) Regent- Command Squad members of the Commanders Commander- Captains of the chapter. (3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th,11th,12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th. 30th companies have captains) Are all part of either the 1st 21st, or Alpha Squadron First Knight- Honor Guard of the chapter First Templar- Leader of the outer council. Lord Commander- Leaders of the chapter. (1st, 2nd, 10th, 13th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th 29th) First Guardian- Captain of the 15th Grand Guardian- Leader of the High Chapter Council (only 6 members.) Grand Templar- Chapter Master of the Storm Crusaders. Grand Commander- Lord and leader of all Chapters of the Storm Crusaders Geneseed. -note- this is just a rough draft. If you guys believe this is a little too much just tell me. As it was confusing to write.
I'm going to go start my own thread for chapter you helped with the color scheme. While it was just going to be a small thing, I have fallen in love with the ideas etc I have come up with in the last day or two.
(I decided on a scheme slightly different than the ones in the thread)

thank you very much need to get lore up later on today. I have to go to school.
OK GUYS I AM BACK!
And I am here to tell you of a cool thing I have come by. A Cool set back for my chapter...
Being too human.
That way my characters and space marines will seem a little more Human. Not people with absolutely no feelings. Meaning they will develop their own personalities. But their past memories are wiped after their induction into the chapter.
Also if you have ideas please email me at

I usually play 2,000 point army of Space Marines.
Anyway the 10th company will be getting an update. Like a new roster. And I will always try and write a campagin of what they are doing right now.
Current Events of the Chapter
M41-Current The Grimnar Campagin begins.
Asherian is Malnar.
Venerable Garane kills a Greater Daemon.
Grand Templar Calnor Alrnia Kills a Daemon Prince and reclaims the Grimnar System
The Storm Crusader Chapter is split in half. As the Crusading Companies gene-seed is no longer recognizable to their brothers. The Son's of Asherian Chapter are born.
The Storm Crusaders chapter under Calnor's and Malnar's Command send all the Chapter successors to fight in the wars across the Imperium.
The Black Fists chapter is decimated by a Dark Eldar fleet.
The Son's of the Phoenix Successor Chapter's homeworld is destroyed. Half the chapter is destroyed.
The Son's of Asherian Fleet fight in the eye of Terror. At least 1,000 Son's appear. The other 2,300 Son's are spread across the Galaxy.
The Storm Crusaders chapter's companies are spread across the Ghoul Systems and the Drancoris Systems as Chaos forces start to attack the systems in the Lakios Systems.
The Ultramarine's chapter Ask for aid. The 4th Company of the Storm Crusaders Respond.
First Knight Amand and his Sternguard squad are aiding a Inquisitorial force defeat an Alpha Legion force that have a relic of the Storm Crusaders Chapter. Amand has been instructed to Destroy the Relic.
Inquisitor Cortez killed by Calnor Alrnia after it was found the Inquisitor was a Radical that was undermining the chapter. The Storm Crusaders no-longer abide to the Inquisition. After a flaw was found in the geneseed.
My nit picks, I don't think you can kill Cortez, because he is a character who is still living. I think. That would be like saying in my chapter's fluff, my chapter master killed Marneus Calgar because he was evil
battle Brother Lucifer wrote:My nit picks, I don't think you can kill Cortez, because he is a character who is still living. I think. That would be like saying in my chapter's fluff, my chapter master killed Marneus Calgar because he was evil
Different Cortez. Its Cortez Mangola. NOT THAT inqusitor lord. I would rather die than kill that cortez off! My fault. Its just i choose random names from the middle evil days and roll a dice to see who wins. So as you can tell Amand is a Knight Templar Grand Marshal.
The Storm Crusaders The Flaw Shortly After the 5th War of Drancoris. The Storm Crusaders inspected the geneseed of the Storm Crusaders, after months of anaylizing it, the Arch Traitor Calis had left a curse on the chapter. His blood was fused with theirs. All of the Storm Crusaders inducted into the chapter were now going to be give two more tasks. The tests of purity, and the tests of will. As failed asprints are sometimes now turned into hulking monstrioticities Ripping through anything that stood in their way. Deep below the Fortress monastery the Chapter has sent a redeemer force consisting of the Alpha Squadron and the 15th company to kill any of the remnants of the corrupted. The blood of Calis has mutated the genestore of the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 7th, and 8th companies. This has severely weakened the chapter as the augmentations were given to these companies and just in a few days their forms changed into hulks and the chapter has been fighting a secret war with the mutants in the fortress monastery. Not even the inquisition knows of this secret war.
Sorry guys i had to write this quickly this is the mud in their blood. The traitors from their chapter are mutants D:
Malnar Malnar is a very important individual in Storm Crusader history. AS he lead the chapter at least 9,500 years ago. And he fought an alien race known simply as the Shifters. Malnar lead the entire chapter into action against it and he began the inquisitional doctrine. Malnar was known for wielding 2 ancient swords stolen from the aliens that were said to make the construction of the Emperor's Primarchs look like satires. These beautiful swords were never found again after his exile in the imperium as he asked for help from a rouge trader. And took the place of the rouge trader and traveled the imperium, but he later after 20 years of serivice as a Rouge Trader, went into a deep sleep where the rouge trader that had agreed to help him. Worked to ensure no one knew of this, and he erased all the memory of the crew, and the cargo of the ship soon was forgotten over 9,400 years of a deep sleep. Malnar was awoken as the Rouge trader ship had been not only left in isolation but the entire crew were retiring the ancient ship after 9,500 years of service. The surprise of the entire crew was when the Ancient Astrates walked out of the ships cargo bay and onto the space station. Where Malnar was seen in complete surprise and many of the crew cowered in fear as they saw the Astrates. Not knowing that they were about to destroy the Astrates in the ship. Malnar told them to go to a secret planet. That had plans for a lost STC of a ship thought long lost to the Imperium. Simply known as the Helios Class Battle Ship. An ancient battle ship that made mockery of the Current Ships of the imperium to this day. No one knows how Malnar had discovered this STC and the technological wonders of the Planet. But many other secrets were found on the planet. Malnar with the STC returned back to the Storm Crusaders in his Battle Armor. Expecting to find a chapter long dead or destroyed by the ravages of time. But he found something alittle brighter, hope and the Storm Crusaders still took breath, and they had been waiting for the day for their Hero to return. But many of the Storm Crusaders believed it to be Asherain who had been killed 9,800 years ago. Malnar after the fifth war of Drancoris dismissed this claim and told the truth of what had really happened and of what had happened to many of the primarchs. Now the Crusaders know the truth. And have now started a campagin to reconquer the Worlds taken by the Traitors. (Testing lore. Not very good, i know needs work in my opinion.)

FAQ!
This is for people who no idea who some or what things in my chapter are for.
Q: Who is Calis?
A: Calis the Arch Traitor was originally a Storm Crusader. But he betrayed the entire chapter, and took the 23rd company with him at least 2,000 years ago. Calis was removed from the Chapter Records as ever being part of the chapter. He then became part of a renegade force that strive to destroy the Storm Crusaders chapter. He and Calnor in the fifth war for Drancoris Fought in the geneseed store. And Calnor Beheaded Calis and the Arch Traitor was killed.
Q: Why are there so many marines in the Storm Crusaders?
A: Well just recently the entire chapter was split up to form a new chapter. The Son's of Asherain (the Crusaders formation). And also due to corruption in their geneseed at least 6 companies neophytes were turned into mindless beasts. The 6 companies geneseed have been taken and destroyed. But the geneseed storage device is fully activated holding enough to ensure the survival of the chapter.
Q: How Many Librarians are the chapter and if it is a Templar Theme then why do they Have psykers?
A: There are around 250. (Includes the Guardians.)
For the 2nd question I can answer it this way. The Black Templars don't know anything. And The Storm Crusaders act like a military force from the modern times. As they work together and calibrate and think for themselves. So why not?
Q: What is the Current Location of the Chapter?
A: Well the chapter right now is everywhere. At least 300 of them are in Armaggedon, and 600 of them are in Ultramar helping the Ultramarines with the coming war. And 400 of them are located in the Grimanir system which is basically in the Ultima Segmenta. Then at least 1000 of them are defending the borders against the Tau, The Ghoul Stars, The Tyranids, and the Necrons. Then 400 of them are spread out in the Eye of Terror. And the other 300 are in the Home systems.
Q: How many Transitions has the chapter gone through?
A: At least 6 or 8. I've lost count. Originally they were called the Storm Guards, The Dusk Legion, The Purgers of Light, Storm Blades, and Blade Legion. Yep there's been alot. Don't even get me started on the color scheme. I've gone through like 50.
Q: How long has it taken you to make up your lore?
A: 10 Months. And entire days devoted to it. 10 months of somewhat doing it. And somedays of every single hour i do something with my chapter.
Q: Can I ask you for help?
A: Sure. Just Email me. Its not just for show.
-End-
Anyway I've been planning on going onto Amazon.com right now and trying to see any cheap prices for models.....
Anyway good Day to Dakkites! And please comment if you think the FAQ satisfied your needs for more lore.
I briefly read most of this blog...I now want to punch babies...
You should really take some of the suggestions to heart, most of your fluff or justifications run completely contrary to 40k lore, making you army quite unbelievable.
Also, get painting...I don't see one painted squad in your entire collection. A painted army (even a tiny one) will be much more rewarding than a million plain plastic bare figures.

I don't know if that is a insult...
purplefood wrote:Why did you make you chapter/psuedo legion so god damn big?
Well. 1,000 Space Marines could not make their own personality. So I thought it would be better, to make it 1,500. Did not work. Still a Demand for more marines! Then 2,000 didn't work. But finnaly I hit 3,000 and it worked with the fluff. And Also I Like the Number 300
I think if you wokr on the fluff, check for infractions... then it would be amazing. As to the painting thing... I'm afraid oblivion is right. Just painting a squad will make them stand out SO much more. If you don't have the time, we understand that too.

I rarely have time anymore. It actually takes alot of effort to even get onto Dakkadakka.
But painting is a different story. I have a squad painted. But I need to finish the details.
The Lore and fluff. I work on alot. But only when i find time.
OK I need Some help with making a Company That the community will help me make!
Basically it is the 29th or the 8th company. As both of them are companies that I have not yet covered.
Basically they are unknown captains and companies. Basically The community will help me make the lore for the company and also I am also creating more in-depth lore for the infamous 22nd company. Which is lead by Night Bringer, a commander that is basically the equal-vent of Shrike of the 3rd company.
Hey guys I really need help with the 22nd company lore. Can any of you lovelys give me a good idea?
I'm fresh out. As I Have to take the plan test tomorrow
Stopped a civil war on planet x by uing pin point assisination and lightning deployment to intimidate the rebels into surrender?
Trapped on a newly controlled Tau planet after their ship/s are forced out of orbit (as in the Tau now control it) they begin a several month/year long campaign of sabotage, assassination and lightning raids before confronting the occupying forces and easily defeating the under-strength garrison.

That could work accept right now they are in the grimnar systems. Plus That could be the 29th company.
The worlds of the Storm Crusaders.
The Storm Crusaders have 7 systems under their control. Unlike the ultramarines, the storm crusaders give any human a choice to join the Crusaders, as well as the choice to join the Guardsmen. The Storm Crusaders value free will above all things. The Storm Crusaders worlds are all beautiful in nature, they are balanced, and the citizens of the Drancorian systems all pay their dues. The worlds are not overpopulated, they are indeed devouted to the Imperium. The Most well known and smallest system is the homesystem of Drancoris. The very center of the Storm Crusaders. Drancoris is surronded by 12 moons. Each moon has a colony. And this is where the 12 compainies of the Crusader's companies come from. Though as large as Luna each moon has been terraformed from the dark age of technology. On each moon is a 5 Cities and a Single fortress, and an element. For example Kassis the world of water has large cities under the vast seas, and not only that but the fortress monestary belongs to the 17th company known as the Aqua company, a company that specializes in under water combat, and boarding actions, the 17th is also known for it's captain, Captain Alvaro, the son of Calnor Alrnia. Drancoris the planet itself in the heart of the 12 moons is the fortress monestary, Ashera, and the city of Falos which is located around the monestary. The City of Falos is full of busy work and orgainized crime is a rarity, the City also has a small mechinacum fortress. The City of falos is the center of success and business trading. The Monestary of the Storm Crusaders, Ashera, is located inside the mountain of Mal. The City of falos is 1000 miles away from this mountain. Mt. Mal is a wondrous site to behold as the mountain has only ever been attacked 4 times in its current history. The Fortress monestary itself has a vast network of interlocking somewhat dungeon simply refered to as the Vault.
The Vault is one of the largest Imperial Structure in the ghoul stars. It dwarfs the ultramarines Fortress Monestary, it contains technologies long lost to mankind, the Storm Crusaders hold a brother hood with the Blood Ravens chapter, who both are considered to have a love with all ancient works of alien races, and humanity. The Storm Crusaders have a technological wonder that they only used in the times of great need. The weapon they have used is a weapon that can pierce the armor of a Battle Barge with a single shot. This weapon is a trophy of an alien race during the second war of Drancoris. The Crusaders have sealed parts of the vault to ensure no one outside of the chapter may enter. Also located inside the Vault, is the mutants, where an eternal war between the Guardians and the Mutants are always being fought.
The Crusader's Spire, is the very center of the monastery, it is where the Storm Crusaders High Council meets for all troubles of the chapter, and also its future.
The other systems are vast and almost glorious, stature, the main agricultural producer is the system of Demeter.
Demeter is a system that is a farming lands, where some of the most well trained Guardsmen are produced and trained.
Another system is the Mechaincum and Inqusitional forces, this system is an Inqusitioral fortress for watching the ghoul stars and the Tyranid hive fleets. The system, itself is relatively peaceful as the system is almost barren except for the Inqusitoral planet and the Mechanicum world. All of which provide the Storm Crusaders aide in the Wars the fight in. The Mechanicum has sworn an debt of life, the Mechanicum has sworn to aid the crusaders in their struggle against the enemies of the imperium.
The 4th system is the Nejis system. This ancient system is a shadow of its former self, as it was decimated by a Chaos Renegade force. It was once the very heart of guardsmen, and Crusader recruitment.
(Alrighty I Think i have hammered enough of you guys with my lore. Anyway I hope it is good, as this is the 15th time i have edited this system lore.)

Yeah. That could work. Anyway. I kinda want to expand more on my chapter lore right now. But i can't think of anything. Last thing i need to do is turn up like the ultramarines *shivers*\ And look how they turn up in Dark Lord Sean's lore! Evil! Yep always new Ultramarines were evil! Plus ever since malnar is back If the imperium fails my chapter will be ok!
Striking from the skies.... The Repentor Captain of the 10th Company was not use to seeing a Storm Crusader before nor had he ever thought they were actually as immense as the stories had said. It seems that not all stories are false. But these Crusaders show aspects not yet seen. The Repentor Captain Lokis wore black armor that the Crusaders immediately Recognized. The Repentor Captain Lokis was an imposing image but compared to a crusader, he was a folk hero. As the Crusaders were legendary to all chapters but the Ultramarines. The Crusader, that stood looking down at the holofield with the other imperial commanders was imposing, and wore an Eagle Like Helmet. The Crusader looked up. "You have a Problem with me Repentor?" Lokis shook off his fear of the Crusader. "No, but who are you? You do not seem to be a Captain." The Crusader laughed, his laugh almost threatening and many of the Imperial Guard Commanders shook at this but one of the Other crusaders in the room. Smiled, the younger crusader had blondish hair stricken with a brown eyes, in no doubt he had been newly inducted into the Captaincy. The Crusader who was laughing spoke finally. "Good Observation, you have the inspection of the Blood Ravens, I am Calnor Alrnia, I am the Grand Templar of the Storm Crusaders, and you must be Lokis, the captain of the Repentors? I have heard of you from Inquisitor Cortez, do not worry my friend with my experience this war with the Green Skins will be quick and easy." The Repentor captain felt like as if a land raider had just hit him. He Shook the feelings of awe off him. "Uhh.. It is good to finally meet you, Calnor Alrnia, you are legend among even my chapter. It is finally good to meet the Daemon's Bane." The Repentor Captain had meant those words. His eyes darted towards the Crusader Captain who still smiled, the youth was filled with loyalty and authority. The Repentor Captain spoke. "Who is the young Astrates in the corner, if you don't mind my inquiry?" Calnor Turned and nodded to the Captain. The Crusader spoke. "I am Captain Calick, of the 2nd company, don't let my looks fool you. I am much older than I appear, I am probably older than you." The Repentor couldn't believe what he was hearing. "In no doubt you must be a hundred fifty?" Calick shook his head. "I am around 350 years old." The Eepentor had rarely asked the question of how old you are. It seemed like an insult now. He spoke. "My apologizes, Captain." Calick smiled, {gloating fool.} "Commanders!" Spoke Calnor from his helmet. "There are reports of Chaos War bands arriving in the area. Repentors, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Guardsmen, and my 2nd company! Prepare for battle. The Enemy is at our doorstep. We must ensure the World of Grimnar does not fall. For without it the Gateway to the ghoul stars will be open! For Imperium, For the Emperor, For Mankind, For The People of Grimnar!" The Commanders in the room nodding their approval. Calick nodded. Calick immediately went onto the vox and started to order his forces into positions and to aid in the civilian evacuation. Well Organized Astrates Honor Guard entered the room all bearing the marks of the Crusaders. Their Image was almost fearful to all those there. The Honor Guard were here to take Calnor to lead from the front. Calnor spoke. "Repentor, And Dark Angel Captains, I leave you the overall command, I must kill the Daemon Prince and I must press forward to the Governmental Building which is under Heavy Orc control. I am off." Calnor Alrnia turned and left the room.
All out war.....
The Thunder Hawk sped over the Sergeants head it roared as it flew over. The Sergeants ears refocused. All around him fallen Crusaders, and knights littered around him. His right leg was oozing black blood, and his face was burnt, all over him were dents and damage beyond repair. Drearily He pushed himself up, his weight almost giving, to the shells that had been falling from heavy artillery. He eyes darted around as bullets pierced through guardsmen armor, and Crusaders were devoured by Daemonic creatures. His sword arm was still strong. A Champion of Khorne charged at him with ferocity. All sense of bracing for impact were thrown away as he held firm with his glittering sword, and charged the foul beast. He ignored the pain of his leg and face. Throwing himself at the creature, he instinctively leapt over the Daemon and disemboweled its head from its shoulders. His short but victorious success was short lived as a Daemon Prince appeared and was slaughtering through squads of guardsmen in the valley below. The once glittering city of Grimnar was now a molten slag. As Repentors, Storm Crusaders, Guardsmen, Dark Angels, and blood angels fought against a Orcish horde and a Chaos Warband. But from the skies he saw a signal of the Iron wolf. He smiled. He spoke into the vox. "2nd Company! The Iron Wolves have come! The Grimnar system shall be retaken!" All around him the Astrates Cryed with a cheer of victory. The 2nd company had done its job. Now the 10th, 22nd and the 1st had arrived with bulk of their forces. ………………. The First Drop pod hit the ground with a loud thud. Then came a Tactical Squad all bearing the markings of the 10th company. The Sergeant drew a sword and his plasma pistol ready for action. Other Drop pods landed nearby. Soon Thunderhawks dropped rhinos and transports. Giving the 10th more firepower to muster. The vox was busy with activity. The 10th’s captain, Loken, was ready for action. Loken spoke into the vox. “Brothers, the enemy will be here soon, we must guard this place from the forces of chaos, and the Green skins. Lucius and Lucifier get your tactical squads into position in those buildings we are building a kill zone here. Devil’s Fool, I need you to teleport when we are ready. Razorback squadron form a ring around this area. Malick use your psychic abilities to communicate to the other Libarians and tell them to set up accordingly.” A flux of yes my lords came through the vox. “Captain Loken, I shall peform this communication, I believe the Alpha Squadron is sending a Assissantion Squad to aid us.” Loken spoke into his helmet. “Good, the more Brothers we have to aid us, the better. Iron Wolves! Let us be their iron death! Honored Brother Jalos Use your jump infantry to scout and to warn of us of any other threats!” “Yes my lord.” Jalos saluted and his jump pack roared to life. The dust pumped up as he jumped into the air. A few Vanguard’s joined him, they followed accordingly. The Red skies of Grimnar were once spectacular to see, once they had brought many pilgrims to this world, but as like all things that face time, all must change. The skies above grimnar were now an emerald as toxic fumes from dying engine core reactors had made the planet almost barren to the look from space. Its once green woods were blackened and the once great city of Grimnar’s Capital Helion which once had brilliant white marble was bronzed, and dirty. Thousands of dead corpses littered the streets of Helion as the Planetary Defense Force had fought a losing battle against the Chaos Cultists who had been in the Planetary Defense Forces very own ranks. None could stand to the Wraith of Khorne and Slaaneesh, now the Storm Crusaders had returned to this world, bearing with them the Same man who had wiped it from existence 500 years ago. It had returned from the warp and it was resettled.
“As a Crusader all are suspicious to our ways, but the real fools are the ones that claim that we do not exist. They are more than just fools, they fear us. They are cowards. Beware the suspicious civilian as they will manipulate all that we prize!” –Librarian Captain Raphael Michael of the 18th company.

------ Alrighty so Today I have been working on some of my eldar lists. But I cannot show right now. But as promised I said I will get up some lore surronding the Storm Crusaders Training. Well here it is.
The Storm Crusaders Training The Storm Crusaders train almost every day. Their training includes fake battlefield training, in where Battle Brothers, and Crusaders are taught how to fight in close quarters, firing weaponry, and how to successfully retrieve targets with minumial loses. This training is also given to the Imperial Regiments in the Drancorian systems, as the Planet of Nejis now provides suitable training for survivalists, and how to surivive against the creatures of nejis as well. Also the Planet of Drancoris's vast jungles are so dangerous, that are creatures that dwarf the krakens of Fenris. The jungle of Drancoris is nickname named Hell's Kurast. As a recurit of the Storm Crusaders 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, you are expected to of gone into the Jungle's of Kurast with 9 other battle brothers. But you are given 2 clips all of which are filled with 50 bullets each. The jungles itself are filled with a Creature called the Draconian, and the Clawed Fiend. Which is known for tearing through Carapace armor with only 3 strikes. This also tests the aspect of Teamwork, survivability, use of weaponry, and decision making. In the Storm Crusaders a Recruit is expected to come back with at least 1 surviving member. It is rare for even 3 recruits to survive. The only Battle Brother to return with all 9 is Calnor Alrnia and Val. All of which were veterans of a long forgotten war. The Storm Crusaders regularly retrieve recruits every 3 years. Each Recruit is given a choice to join the chapter, if he does not accept, he may stay, if he accepts, the recruit is immediately taken to the nearest Company or Chapter Fortress to be given the Trials. Their are at least 12 Trials. The Trial of Choice is the 1st which is a yes or no question. The 2nd Trial the Trial of endurance is where a recruit must run from one mountain valley to the very top of the Fortress. The 3rd Trial is the Trial of Power, a Trial in which you must fight a unarmed against a wounded Clawed Fiend. The 4th Trial is the Trials of Honor, in where you are given mêlée weapon of your choice and you must best one of the recruits in battle, if you kill your opponent you allowed access but if you spare his life you are allowed access. (This is the Trial to see if you have psychic potentials) The 5th Trial is the Trial of Skill, where you must go through the dungeons underneath the fortress and come out alive. The 6th Trial is the Trial of Hope, in where a Recruit must learn how to use resourcefulness on a survivability using only a knife and a single pistol with one clip. The 7th Trial is the Trial of the Crusader, where you are given a weapon and you fight a mutant force with a squad assigned to you. Depending upon how many soldiers you lose you are allowed to pass. needless to say at least half the recruits die on this test. The 8th Trial is the Trial of torture, where your mind is broken down and your mind is wiped of your past before the Trials. You must be able not to tell the chaplain your chapter no. and you must repeat a single phrase "The Emperor is my Guardain." Until the chaplain sees you fit. The 9th Trial in which case is the hardest is the indicition of the organs. In where you are given organs to boost you up for the next test. Weak and almost frail the 10th test is more difficult. The 10th Trial Inspects your mind and your soul, and looks for impurities, you are suspect to mental images of demons, wars, everything a normal battle brother would see, but these are not just images, depending on the reaction of the neophyte he is allowed to continue to the 11th Trial, if he fails he is killed immediately. The 11th Trial you are implemented with the geneseed, after you are you are subject to even more punishment and you are given no food for 1 month, and you must stay in chamber until your body reheals. The 12th Trial is the Trial of Death, this Trial is where you fight against your personality and you are sent on a fight to kill a Legendary beast that is native to the planet, like the Iron Wolf, or the Flawed ones, or the Dangerous Black Draconian.
Hey Guys I am planning on adding a new marine army to my current collection except they will be drawn from 2 chapters.
The Wanderers and the Emperor's Shields.
This is what I am planning on buying
1x battle Force. (1 assualt Squad 1x combat squad 1x tactical squad)
2x tactical squad
1x devastator squad
1x combat squad (will become stern guard squad)
1x Black Templar Upgrade Sprue.
This will give me if my math is right a 1500 point list or so. As I am planning using the extra legs from the rhino and the few i have laying around to make a few characters using the Black Templar stuff. Anything I should add?
If I buy this from a current person I know it will cost 196$ should i do it? This army is for my battle table in my basement so we have more varieties.
Inquisitor Lord Bane wrote:Once again sir, good fluff, but check your spelling and grammar. I think your trying to talk about the recruit's TRIALS, not TRAILS or TAILS
opps I'll run it through the Spell check on Microsoft word. I just started editting while I am at school (shh don't tell anyone.)
Behold the New Color Scheme and Symbol! As you can see it has been fully mastered! Finally eh? Well anyway this chapter will get some updates as well as some new stuff when I Get time today
Automatically Appended Next Post: Anyway I am thinking of a few captain names and I came by this which was kinda hilarous in a way

I agree with a few of the others. If you have time to write as much fluff and lore and comment elsewhere on Dakka, we want to see painted models. This thread started out in P&M, and that's what the people are demanding.

Yeah Not the greatest painter in the world. Trying to get the painting down first. I will work on painting when I get time. But the lore stuff i actually do at school. So when I am sometimes on dakkadakka I'm actually at school trying to avoid doing some homework. See right now I am going to buy a huge amount of stuff and then I am going to get settled with painting then I will move onto the Storm Crusader's as their painting scheme is complex. Unlike the Emperor's Shields and the Wanderers which is very basic. Plus someone needs to teach me how to set up my crappy digital camera so that I can take better pictures and learn how to make a pro pictures of single miniatures as the pictures I take now do not give my chapter justice.
UNLESS! If you guys want me to show you my brothers painting! Which is Space Wolves. He almost has his entire Space Wolves army done painted! And he also has 12 grey knights and at least 250 spearmen of elves?
If you look in the P&M tutorials you'll find a whole bunch on how to take good pics. And if you put up pics of your painting, no matter how bad it is, you can get pointers on how to improve it.
Automatically Appended Next Post: And this is your thread, not your brothers
Well the picture problem is more of a busy thing. I rarely find to do anything. This current eagle scout project has really taken alot of my time.
About the brother thing. Yeah Its my bro, hes better than me at this. But I better at writing lore and making stories that people would like to read.
But yes I will try practicing to get my painting skills down. I have only ever started to paint 10 times. And i get a little bit better.
Automatically Appended Next Post: That also reminds me how do i strip some of my guys D:. Because alot of them are painted when I was younger and I want to save the models of having to paint over. I would rather just restart them.
Alrighty new lore!
Updated Stats
Chapter Masters: Calnor Alrnia and Malnar Greston
Chapter No: 124
Homeworld: Drancoris (8 systems)
Geneseed: Unknown (may be descended from the 11th legion)
Manpower: 3,200-3,500 (unknown)
Specialty: Prolonged Campaigns, Tactical Movements, Insertions, Behind enemy lines, Defensive and offensive Actions on sieges, Tactical Assaults, Pysker assaults, Alpha Squadron.
War-cry: The Storm Has come for you!
Famous Quotes:
"To be a Storm Crusader is to be a signal of hope and light."
"Daemons, Traitors, Orks, Eldar, Tyranids, and Tau, sounds like an even fight, all cannons fire at their flanks and wipe them from existence." Captain Prometheus at the battle of Grimnar.
The Book of Ignatius
The Books of Ignatius are the Storm Crusaders and their chapters version of the Codex Astrates. But instead of it never being updated to fit the demands of the changing battlefield it is constantly updated by Great tacticians of the Imperium. It states Strategies, tactics, orginization, ship to ship interaction, codes, laws, training, ranks, Command Structure, Chapter Councils, and the Formations of the Chapters. Truly the Book of Ignatius was written by the most talented of the Chapter. As the Ultramarines and the Son's of the Storm usually get into disputes over this. But with the backing of the Inquisition the Storm Crusaders may continue.
But do to recent times. The Storm Crusaders have sensed a Corruption in the so-called Holy Warriors of the Inquisition as Alpha Squadron members have not returned from campaigns. And are being used as assassins instead of their usual tactics. Seeing the promise broken by the Inquisition the Storm Crusaders have called the aid of the Ordo Heretics to deal with the Corruption within the Inquisition.
The Guardians
The Guardians are the chapters pyskers and guards of the Daemon Hunting forces. The Guardians are only numbered around 600 pyskers and 90 Specialists. The Guardians draw its number from all the Pyskers of the Storm Crusader's Successors. And they are not included in man power as their are 12 chapters that give the guardians recruits. In theory, it is believed the Guardians came to be after the Horus hersey in order to combat any Daemon Incursion in the Ghoul Stars. A single guardian squad can turn a battle that was once seen as lost into a victory.
metallifan wrote:The Inquisition already have the GK though. Why would they want/need another Chapter when they can just pull a mandate out of their arseholes and comandeer a chapter whenever they need to?
The Inquisition has no direct authority over a SM chapter. They may feel as if they can "Comandeer" anyone they want, but in truth, they would be hard pressed to do so.
And I can see that the GK would probably be stretched pretty thin if they were the only one's doing Inquisition business.... so yeah it make perfect sense to "loan" out a few companies on INQ business.
Well I can definately see your point. Thanks for the support. I have a few things I am working on. Like the Alpha Squadron. And the Grimnar Campagin Conclusion. (which has been a pain in my butt, as it litterally has so many armies fighting each other it is insane...)
Pics are coming for you people. I'm not proud of my painting. AT ALL

When you take pictures, don't take them head on. Take them at a slight elevation, looking down. That way you can see more of the model, and it doesn't look as awkward.

Thanks for the help anyway.
Guardian WIP Yeah I got kinda bored and I need to find a way to make a custode but my funding will come soon. Let me take pictures of the rest of the army. And let me not forget about my most famous model! And yes it Azrael's Body! Filed and worked for like 3 weeks on! Notice how his head is sticking out. Can't really fix that. But it looks pretty good. Asherian Command wrote:Well Anyway heres something.
I also found this thanks to Dakkadakka
http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery It looks like as if i got my self some custom stuff!
if it's the right size- count it as a captain/chapter master with 2 assault cannons!
A really simple green pattern which is fast. Black primer. Dark Angels Green coat. Light drybrush of Goblin Green. Just enough to bring out the details. Use long strokes from the head to feet. Dont wory about the bottom of the model being as drybrushed as the top. Next a wash of Thrakka Green. Pretty sure thats the name of everything, I dont have my paints out. The Goblin Green will seem too bright but the wash will blend everything. Its not going to win you a Golden Demon, but it is fast, simple, and looks good. In the future dont glue your bolters down until after you have painted your marine. Makes chest details easier. Bolt gun is simply boltgun metal and a wash of badab black. Try Deneb Stone on the chest eagle, Devlan mud to shade it, drybrush 50/50 Kommando Khaki/Bleached Bone. Have fun, hope this helps. No idea what painting ratios are.
Hey guys I have a plan for the Libariaus of my chapter. As It has been really well neglected. It will be arranged similarly to that of the Thousand Son's Prehersey. Of course I need to think of some names and stuff like that. So far I have painted 2 librarians that are partially painted. Each color represents a certain order of the Libariaus.
Tell me if this is a bad idea. But the chapter will not become obsessed with it. It is more like orders that use it for the benefits of the chapter but don't become warlocks and stuff like that.
Hello everyone I will be posting some picks but here is what we know about the Orders
There are 5 orders.
The Order of Fire- This order specializes in the use of pyschic attacks as it uses the power of the warp to destroy the enemies from afar.
Colors: fire Red
Leader: Magi Varrcan
The Order of Defense- This order specalizies in the use of pyschic defenses, like seeing into the future and using shields to protect their allies.
Colors: Ice Blue
Leader: Magi Talnar
The Order of the Warrior: This order specializes in the use of making ones entire body a weapon and heightening their strength and power 10 fold to bring wraith to their enemies in close combat.
Colors: Brown
Leader: Magi Michael
The Order of Balance- This order has no specialization but instead they use the balance of the 3 other orders to defeat the enemies of the chapter.
Colors: Royal Red + Blue cloaks
Leader: Magi Talhoris
The Order of Knowledge- This order has a unique job in that they are architects and deciders of the chapter, they are the chapters First Knight Leaders who order the First Knights to recover artifacts to bring to the chapter. This order has been well known for training the elite Guardians and First Knights. The Order of Knowledge trains all recurits and maintains the vast libraries of Drancoris. They also send out first knights for recovery missions.
Colors: Teal
Leader: Magi Hatoris
The Magis are all leaders of the orders but they all follow one Leader Magistrate Malick.
Pics will come but first I need you people to say if this is good or not.
Automatically Appended Next Post: As does the Order of Leadership
What i mean was by the description they don't seem to be an addition whatsoever.
Order of knowledge should be focused on archive keeping and seeking relics. not training people.
Order of leadership is just pointless.
purplefood wrote:Order of knowldge seems a tad pointless

Oh the order of knowledge? I can't seem them being useless as they have to go into the Dungeons of Drancoris. Which is as large as the Terran Dungeon. Maintianing the Libarairy of knowledge is a huge responsibility. And not only that but the Order of Leadership is basically a interrogator group. As they hunt down the exiles of the chapter.

I'd keep it just the first 3 and maybe the 4th as a place for older combat veterans to go so they can train new recruits and look after the library.
Wait first three. One specializes in range combat, one specializes in close combat, and one defense then one that has no speciliaization just balance. Then the fifth one is just a bunch of people who take care of the libarariy and do special missions. The Guardians are a huge deal they protect the Storm Crusaders against daemons. They are basically Daemon hunters from the order of knowledge.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Magi Talnar.
Talnar is the leader of the Order of Defense. He is useful with his force hammer, and has been known for erecting entire force shields against Orbital Bombardments. He is very deadly when it comes to his pyschic lash, though rarely used it allows him to defend himself against the attacks of other pyskers where he sends the pyschic attack of the pyskers right back at them at their full strength. He is well disicipline and is currently attached with the 10th company.
Will make Rules later for all the Magis.
Magi Varrcan
Magi Varrcan is a fool hardy soldier, who is nicknamed the Lord of Fire, by his brother librarians. His powers are mainly hellfire based and he sends jets of flame from his body. He is well known for melting a Warlord titan of chaos. He Is currently serving in the Drancoris systems to recuperate from the hive fleet assault.

Ok you took 1 out that's fine. The last one to me looks more like they should defeat daemons through experience and cunning use of their powers rather than sheer power which is why they are in the library more often because they research daemon names etc.
Also if you want a leader you can make it ike the wizard coleges in WHFB where they elect a leader from 1 one the colleges (Or he challanges them to a duel and fries them) basically do this but replace collages with orders.

I have no idea about the wizard colleges.
There are several of them each one specialising in a different aspect of magic.
To decide an overall leader (An Archmage if you will) each colleges leader can choose to challange the current archmage in a magic duel (To the death) the winner is Archmage for another 6 years. The duels are so intense they have to be fought in a special room in the college which is magic proof to prevent the spells destroying the city where they are based.
Obviously a duel for Librarius leadership couldn't be to the death but it could be until 1 has supremacy over the other or something similar.

That could work.
Also it may be ebneficial to write in a smaller order that chronical events and advise certain people in the Librarius and are outside it's direct chain of command. This could be in case of chaotic corruption as there must have been some renegades from your chapter.

No problem.
I used to think your fluff was a bit ott but if you ignore the numbers it's quite well thought out.
Well the chapter has fallen down alot. Like in the end of the universe and the rebirth of humanity my chapter will die. Only having 350 members surviving and had a campaign of this.
Interesting idea for different classes of Librarian. You may have said something earlier about this, but how many Librarians are actually in the Storm Crusaders? I know the Blood Ravens have an oddly high number of them, so I would assume that, with such specialization within the chapter, that the Storm Crusaders are another chapter, uniquely 'gifted' with librarians?

Nah they have huge number of marines in total there are 250 librarians but there are 350 Guardians.
you got some nice mins, thats fore sure. nice poses i see. but to comment your paintjob try making not so busy pics... also the flash does something nasty to your minis... try some natrual light instead...

is that a combi weapon with a plasma and a hamer on talnar? is that doable?

Thank you. Yeah I have been trying to fix that. Up close the models look great, from afar even better. But this is my first attempt at painting. But It is going to be put into storage for a while as I am going into swim season D:
The Standard bearer he was a ebay item. He is a prize of mine. He is a wolfguard and the flag itself will be repainted a little to show my heradly.
Combi weapon on one of libarians yeah thats legal. The hammer is a force hammer as force weapons can be anything even force claws.
swim season? well for us mere europeans its now the season for skates and slays and raincoats...
pffff your a tough nation...swimming in stark cold water^^

Yeah I'm trying to get everything done before swim season takes everything away for 9 weeks.
Yeah I know :(
Really sucks because there is so much to freaking paint at least half my 10th company is done..... With the first painting layer......... God Damn I will never finish them.
Anyway the 10th company now has 120 marines. Which means the Storm Crusaders will no longer get any new recruits instead it will be moving towards a multichapter group except for a little surprise when I fully build everything and fulfill a promise I made to my brother .

hey guys. I've been thinking for a while of making a certain squad, just because of starcraft 2. It will perform similar to a Marauder squad but it would make sense to have a squad of these badasses running around. I will be using bits from my hunter killer missiles and combine it with powerfists. And I will try to write some rules for them. As it will be used as a advanced tech squad. .But they will not be called marauders. Maybe something little templarley?
It begs the question though.....
Terminator or Power Armor??!??!?!?!?!
This is actually considerably better than a SC2 Marauder, which is only good at anti-armored shooting and tanking damage for Marines. The SC2 Marauder sucks against lights, sucks in melee, and can't shoot air.
Closest possible comparison to a Marauder would, in my opinion, be a Wolf Guard in Terminator armor with CML attached to PA Wolf Guard or Grey Hunters. Nobody spams Marauders, thus a whole squad of Marauders shouldn't really exist.
You wanted to make something like SC2 Marauders. I don't know what you would do for those.
I thought you meant the WoC Marauders, and adding parts from their sprue to SM.
Hey guy I am back from concerts, working, life, and the Daily Peon.
Alot of stuff is happening and I forgot about my hobby. So I will try to get back into it. But I wrote some stuff on a fantasy group I made.
The Brotherhood of the Sword.
http://dailypeon.wikia.com/wiki/Brotherhood_of_the_Sword
The 2 tactical squads and sternguard and captain are for the Wanderers lol.
But yeah I will post them as they sorta have had content from the Storm Crusaders.
Instead of being Crusaders the Wanderers are Knights, more than the regular knights templars and crusaders.
Hey guys I have project on Heradly I need to think of some quotes. And this what I have to choose from
“We are legion, for we are many.”
“Loyal to the day we die!”
“I am the flame, feel my righteous fury, for Imperium, for Emperor, for Primarch! Nothing shall stand in my path of fury!”
“I am the sword to he emperor and you are in my way.”
“A single stone can cause an avalanche.”
“An Open mind is like a fortress, with its gates unbarred and unguarded.” Or “Knowledge is power, Guard it well, and use it well.”
“Questions are for the briefing room, not the field.”
Your honour is your life. Let none dispute it.
From the darkness we strike, fast and lethal, and by the time our foes can react... darkness there and nothing more.
“To the darkness I bring fire. To the ignorant I bring faith. Those who welcome these gifts may live, but I will visit naught but death and eternal damnation on those who refuse them.”
"Bravery is stronger than Adamantium. One is the stuff of the soul-forges, the other an illusion of safety created by fools. Adamantium walls cannot keep us out! "
"The warrior who acts out of honour cannot fail. His duty is honour itself. Even his death - if it is honourable - is a reward and can be no failure, for it has come through duty. Seek honour as you act, therefore, and you will know no fear."
I like the "single stone" one...the others are...dunno, just...yeah.
"darkness there and nothing more"
hmm...
"...While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door..."

Eh. I need a badass quote that is basically emphasising my honorable, courageous, and loyal ways. And 40k quotes basically knock that out of the park. Sorta of like the Office.
no, I wasn't putting Poe forward as a quote, I was linking the line in "The raven"- "darkness there, and nothing more" with that raven guard quote. what doctrine do they use? seige masters? guerilla tactics?

Real Life dude.
Its a school project. Its legitimate. I am descended from a count but his heraldry was taken by peasents. Believe it or not But I am rightfully evil as my acenstry is linked to the Normandy Counts who slaughtered people for fun! and also because they got bored.
Asherian Command wrote:Eh. I need a badass quote that is basically emphasising my honorable, courageous, and loyal ways. And 40k quotes basically knock that out of the park. Sorta of like the Office.
You? Honorable, courageous, and loyal?
Anyways, I like the quotes:
“Knowledge is power, Guard it well, and use it well.”
Your honour is your life. Let none dispute it.
Is this a school thing? If so, you may want to avoid 40k references or quotes...
No it recommends a quote XD. It says you cannot taken from known famous people that are real.
So I thought of 40k. And plus my teacher played 40k. But he never heard of the quotes.
Your honor is your life. Let None Dispute it.
How about this take on the old Imperial stanrd "We die standing." Instead, "Make them die standing." I got nothing. Wait... hearkening back to your count roots: "Kill them in the fields, when they are hard at work. Merely remember: Make them die standing, for they are not worth the hair on their backs."
By the powers invested in me, I am raising this planet from the dead! LIVE LIVE! And it lives! SUCCESS
Devastator and Lord Kaesar II I went with another one.
Anyway..... I have finally after beating myself up for not writing a war for Asherian. This is the first War's Account. Tell me what you think....
The Wars of Asherian CH.I The First War
The First War was the first Actual Recorded evidence of the Storm Crusaders. The Crusaders original name the Dusk Legion is very different from its current status.
The Chapter itself barely had any similarities with the current chapter’s tactics, colors, and the overall identity some Historians believe that the Dusk Legion were in fact a Legion, but this is scratched out as First Captain Leroic of the of Dusk Legion kept pointing out that they were all that remained of legions extra marines that had to be gotten rid of in order to follow the codex astrates.
The First war is Drastically different compared the other Wars of Asherian as they are all defenses or an offense against an alien race or chaos. In this case, it was an invasion lead by the Dusk Legion. First Captain Leroic’s recording of the events of the first war were recovered by the Retired Captain Altorick (Astrates too old to fight) and Chief Magistrate Talnar.
The discovery of this journal or historical document is that the chapter now knows that they are a 2nd founding chapter and indeed one of the oldest among them. Also some pride in that they had such a great Leadership at that time. The chapter only keeps the history of the first war to itself and it’s successor chapters. Except for the Black Fists which were annihalted after the document was found, by a Dark Eldar Fleet.
The Document regards time differently and it may appear out of order, but the dates and times have all been black inked by the writer.
Day 1 First Account of First Captain Leroic former Member of the ------------------- Legion.
We have been sent by the high lords of erra to protect the systems of the ghoul stars. Little did they tell us the entire region doesn’t want to be owned by the Imperium. Though they remain free, we first tried communicating and negotiating but our Emissaries (Self Righteous Idiots they be) failed horribly I myself could of done a better job, and that is not my area of expertise. They then warned to shoot at my vessel. After this went through the vox, our entire fleet arrived, The Dusk Legion did indeed scare the hapless Fleet, we quickly disposed of the fleet and we now rule the space ways. I don’t know how Chapter Master Asherian Will deal with this. Though our chapter is ready to take the planets by force it seems necessary to do so. Already they seem to be weak. Let us hope that this seems so. There are only 500 Astrates here, most of them are veterans of the Great Hersey, all having served with me and Asherian, it seemed fitting for us all to be put here. Me being promoted to first captain was interesting for I have had barely any expertise in fighting not compared to Lisos (Li-iso-os) an Actual Terran from Terra itself. With all the other legions dwindling I wonder how my friends from other legions fare?
Day 2
The Invasion of Dranis V
This planet is a beautiful City World, filled with many militaristic peoples, I can’t believe they didn’t even give up a fight, immediately after we landed we killed their entire Leadership and cut off their communications. Such a waste of our time. They surrendered immediately at least they will provide aid to us, and an ample place for us to recruit for our chapter as well. Maybe this planet could become useful to us?
Day 3
Navious
I found out the name of this planet Navious. The promoted leader who we sought fit to lead the peoples here told me the meaning of the name, Truly an Awe inspiring name. “Flower of the Untouched Garden.” After we had captured the planet I had found out why they had surrendered so quickly, they knew we were coming, not by psychic powers but by hope that they would be freed from having to send their first born sons to fight aliens that enslaved them, and a government that couldn’t protect them. I hope we can protect this planet and this system.
Day 4
The assault on one of their High Temple Fortresses on one of the moons next to navious began. We were able to break through immediately if it were not for my first company, who had lead the line and slaughtered the defenders, except for a few that fought bravely and were corned we decided to spare them and interrogate them for information, we used what the codex dictates the Chaplains and the Libarians, the soldiers immediately gave way and told us many things. But it still worries me what if someone was able to get a hold of this Codex Astrates and was our enemy?
Day 5
Entire System Captured not much else to report on. The system we will call it Navious in honor of the planets there, we also found a suitable place there that was an ice world that had primitive tribes there as well. The reason why the Dranis empire never went there was because they believed that people like that should not be apart of their empire. Oh how much this will bite them back.
Day ? Its been Several month siege I don’t know how long it has been, probably of shouldn’t let my time serf die. Of course I did bring him out with me during a firefight, and I did tell him to run through a firefight and he wasn’t an astrates. Probably a dreadful mistake on my part. The Dranis Empire has bunkered down on this world we were able to bombard one of their military bases and were able to take a city. The rest of the planet is in dissarry, how many damn worlds does this empire have?
Same Day different hour… We have just found an underground tunnel, after following it we discovered an entire network, they ambushed my small detachment but we were able to rip through them, I lost my 2 best veterans. I’ve lost many Astrates to these spineless humans. I have slain many with my sword, it seems to me that no blood can repay what I have lost, so be it. A shame this sword has also split the blood my brothers as well. Asherian truly proves to be a champion to me. Though his psychic powers rival that of the Thousand sons. It truly worries me how long he had be hiding these powers, and what worries me is how well he controls it. Let us hope he does not fall so easily like the Sons did.
3rd Year…
The First Recurits come from Navious they truly have no idea what they will endure but they proved themselves. I know not many of them will survive, many of us wonder what tradition we could start. We still haven’t decided. The Worlds of the Dranis empire are wide and spread apart right for our picking. Already we have found the populations torn asunder by aliens already, truly they are breaking. We are running constantly low on this squad dubbed named the Tactical Squad. It seems the Codex does not show how to prevent this as we place them stratgetically to hold choke points contest areas yet we still lose marines to gunfire even when they fight heroically. They were also veterans of the Heresy, loyalists that should of deserved better. If it wre not for the Dreadnought’s heavy fire power we would have been lost on that barren world. The tactical navigation system showed a planet a planet with regular forests wide mountain ranges and massive fields. We dubbed it Lornis’s World, in honor of if not foolish fallen marine that fell against a savage creature, these creatures that attacked us were wolves, but they stood on two feet, like a werewolf, their image reminded me of the Space Wolves, though their claws were made of some material that could slice even power armor.
If it weren’t for Dreadnought Titus all of would have been lost. We are setting up a fortress here to hold the planet and to protect the feral villages that live here, we also found a weapons depot and a temple which gave us no resistance this was their world that holds beauty and to protect the creatures here, for some unknown reason. We call these creatures, the Iron Wolves, a good name we thought. Let this world produce warriors that will honor our chapter.
4th-14th Years I have been unable to record the events at this time but we have been attacking and regaining ground and defeating entire regiments, bloody and short battles. Truly they have no idea who they fight. And we also took alot of worlds most notably we found a Forge World, under a Mechanicus Leader there that oathed to aid us in any or all activities we have. I think this will prove very useful.
15th Year The Codex is absolutely useless! Today we sent in an entire blasted Battle Company, it was slaughtered to the last man, they knew how we would strike and what we would do, intelligence from our scouts say the leaders have found the codex and now use its so called scared texts against!
Already Asherian and I plan our next move, we have decided that the codex for now will be followed but we must create a new one to learn from this, he says that it is the only way to ensure that the future generations will succeed where we failed. Already our first course was to assemble the Captains and reorganize, a Chapter Council has been created, so that I would be promoted to lead the chapter as a Chapter Councilor, A much more suitable thing but I can lead my chapter much better.
Though I will miss my first company, my command squad has appointed Jerios has been appointed in my stead, a veteran himself of the horus hersey and he even slew a Daemon, a creature wreathed in blood with his power sword, he was then honored with being granted as an Champion of our companies. Such an honor was great.
16th Year.
Our numbers have swelled but mostly neophytes our original number was 500 but over time our Astrates dwindled to 200 of us, now we have 800 Neophytes, all have been given tasks, each is lead by one of our chapter council we are running low and the first company has yet to lose as much as the tactical groups.
Surprisingly our Assault marines have taken surprisingly low amounts of causalities, funny how much we use them and how effective they appear to be, they have taken rearguard options and even have threw away their chainswords and bolt pistols and equipped themselves with bolters taken from our sternguard as they lay dead, they were surprising more effective than our sternguard, they are dubbed Fire Angels. Though the Neophytes prove resourceful they tracked down and ambushed many of the enemy supply lines.
Though in fact many of them may not realize they could possibly take an entire planet by themselves without our interference. We have decided to test the neophytes to improve them even in further, the squad based test if any of them pass they will all become Astrates we will redirect the rest of the other neophytes that are newer to fight against the Armies of the Dranis Empire.
16th Year 6 month according to terran calendar.
The Neophytes have proven themselves we shall implement this into a regular practice, they are more united in resolve and act as a unit. The tactical squads are now refreshed, are apothecaries now work to keep up with the demand of scouts. Our Apothecarian needs to be alot more larger. 2 of our Captains have also died the first Dranis Captains are promoted as well into our chapter. Both are Navioians.
17th Year
Onle one world Remains now. Drancoris the homeworld of the Dranis Empire. The Dranis Empire’s Final bastion, this is where they shall fall. We have already saw the wild life and the Iron Wolves of Lornis’s World are made mockery by these creatures. They are called The Drancorians the true denizens of this world they all range in sizes they wildlife here are so different from the other systems I wonder how we have been able to kill so many of the Dranis Peoples. We have besieged their above ground city, its defenses are pathetic compared to the other worlds, it seems their resolve is broken, though after we took it, we were confused to find out the capitol is still on this planet but we cannot find it or detect it. We then found a few more fortresses and lay siege to them we broke through and were able to defeat the artillery weapons that lay there with the might of a titan legion. We had no idea that the peoples here would have access to weapons that could destroy battle barges. One of Battle barges was hit by a massive weapon, it went clean through the ship, thank god it was not our Capitol ship, but it is a blow that our future generations will hear of. We have had short firefights and massive engagements with the Dranis Military, though it seems they are broken as they try so desperately to resolve this. Later that year.. Asherian found intelliegence that tells us that they discovered the Capitol city was underground. We couldn't find the damn city so we threatened to destroy the entire world with an extermanitus. Immediately we received a response from their council. They asked us not to put the world to the flame. In return we gain control of their empire and their peoples to do as we wish and to follow any or all laws of the Imperium of Man. We accepted, in return we protect them, seems straight forward.
20th year. The Dranis Council finally has given us the privilege of seeing the ‘City of Light’. It was something I cannot describe, even when I am infinitely different from a human the city was beautiful it was a work of art and not alien. We have decided to make our fortress monestary in the southern pole, on the highest mountain peak, Mt. Mortiniva, we have decided to rename it, Mt. Dominus Umbra.
The fortress itself is named Ashera in honor of Asherian and his decisions. The imperial fists have also come to aid us in constructing it and building a massive vault like structure underneath it, thus far we have been granted STC’s to store beneath it and many other wonders to protect.
We have also found the dead world. The World of the Dead, here we will bury the dead of our chapter, The Dusk Legion will keep a fortress here in grim remembrance and this will be where the Chaplains shall be trained.
We have selected hundreds of potential Pyskers to become Libarians that specifically guard that place we have also requested for guardian spears that are specifically designed for pyskers. We jokingly called them the Guardians.
-End of Record- Leroic Went onto a campaign and was later entombed within a dreadnought, the campaign took place 200 years later, He was seen as the first Real Grand Templar of the Storm Crusaders.
400 Years after is entombment Asherian was placed within stasis after being poisoned, he was then succeeded by Malnar his student, who Leroic had found to be a potential youth before he was entombed, he saw to it that Malnar was taught well, and Malnar implemented the Codex Ignatus and replaced the Codex Astrates.
Leroic was finally killed during the third war for Asherian, where he held a postion along with a detachment of the Fire Angels against a Traitor Force. He spat death with his assualt cannon before he was penetrated by the lascannon of the predators. The Fire Angels are now part of the Guardians as elite troops which then lead to the creation of the Alpha Squadron.
OOC: Hopefully you cans can critique it and help me make this more of an engaging story. I like the idea of the Crusaders trying to find out who they were and they found this as evidence but their founding legion is inked out. It is for you the reader to decide what legion founded the crusaders.

Anyway i was reading the fandex where they have custom traits, and mutatons for the chapter, and chapter tactics, and combat advantages, could any suggest any good tactics for the chapter that might fit?
Some Updated lore, Sorry guys I have no models to show you but I am planning on redoing some of the squads i currently have. As they all have undramatic poses, just sticks with arms.
So anyway....
Homeworld: Drancoris
Drancoris is described as a beautiful jungle world with a city beneath the hellish jungle. How this feat is achieved is unknown but the Fortress Monastery is built on Mt. Dominus on the southern pole. The Northern Pole is the training grounds for the chapter the center of the planet harbors the City of Dranis or Chasm. Venturing up Mt. Dominus is one of the tests to become a Storm Crusaders. the Wild life of Drancoris are indeed dangerous enough to rival Catachan's animals. But it has thus far produced a strong base for soldiers. Calnor Alrnia himself is from Drancoris.

Okay, its been a long time since I did any of this stuff. So I thought might as well. Here is the Entire Redone version of the Chapter organization, tactics, recuritment, orders, ranks and more...
Enjoy....
The Storm Crusaders The Storm Crusaders are an ancient Chapter, being founded during the 2nd founding.
For every 10 companies there are in the Storm Crusaders these 10 are lead by 1 Grand Guardian. In total there are 5 Grand Guardians. The other 2 lead the other 4 companies these are the Alpha Squadron company, Templar Company, Fire Birds company, and the Siege Company. The chapter acts as if it is 3 seperate chapters but they bear the same resemblance and colors, and bear the same name and everything else but have not been together since the chapters founding.
The Chapters Might is something to beware, but as according to their pact with the inquisition the Templar company and the Alpha Squadron companies are specifically used by the Inquisition for their own matters. And the chapter can never gather in anyone place, or system for that matter. They must abide to ensure that the chapter does not believe itself to be indestructible. Such is this that the Grand Templar sometimes if not frequently sends companies quickly away from the core systems to ensure this treaty is kept. At anyone time only at least a chapter’s worth of Astrates are kept in the 6 systems that occupy the Storm Crusader’s Empire.
Originally the chapter occupied in its earlier years 50 systems which it had to protect, over time these have been given to new chapters, 6 of which used the Storm Crusader’s geneseed. They also follow the codex astrates. The 10 chapters descended from the Storm Crusaders are the Black Fists, Son’s of the Phoenix, Blade Knights, Son’s of Asherian, Storm Knights, the Blue Paladins, Iron Raiders, Death’s Angels, The Brotherhood of the Sword, and the Knightly Avengers. These chapters have all spread across the ghoul stars to ensure that no alien races may try to continue, the only chapters that are not located within or around the ghoul stars being, the Black Fists, Knightly Avengers, Storm Knights, and the Son’s of Asherian, either being banished to fight on the other side of the gaxaly or being completely eradicated from existence (Black Fists).
The Chapter has been able to somehow produce Geneseed through unknown means. Though at the moment most of these chapters are understrength excluding the crusaders and the Son's of Asherian.
In recent events the entire Storm Knight's Chapter was Eradicated by the supernatural inhabitants that had developed a bioweapon that specifically targeted the Storm Knights. The Knightly Avengers were sent in and eradicated the inhabitants in that system also destroying the bioweapon as well.
This being locked inside the secrets of the chapter. Some rumors point to the existence of cloning geneseed or even have possession of a primarch! Which is completely obscene.
Such is the rumors about the chapter that many other chapters outside of the Crusader Brotherhood that they are often regarded with suspuscion, most notably the Wanderers Chapter, the Ultramarines, Blood Angels, and many other codex chapters. Though they are found to be good pets for the Ordo Heretics and Ordo Xenos.
The Crusaders have been known to be extremely innovative, being able to build new weapons and tactics against enemies in a campaign. Such is their innovation that what seems to be a ineffective weapon is soon upgraded to specifically deal with the enemies of the imperium quickly and efficently. Such is their ties with the Adeptus Mechanicus forgeworld which vowed to produce all weapons of war specifically for the Crusaders and their brotherhood and for the systems there, that they have all accesses to weapons that many chapters would rarely get a handful of the resources at the crusaders disposal. The the chapter boasts an entire Company of Techmarines, all of which are called the Siege Company, Also the 21st company contains 100 Terminators in total, while the 1st company contains 80 sternguard and 40 vanguard, though it should be noted the 1st company contains 120 Veterans as the 1st company is constantly being sent out on campagins, so little times has the 1st company ever been gathered that it is considered a rarity to have even 30 veterans, this also applies to the 21st which accompanies other companies that need their support.
Another Company which is often regarded with much mystery is the Guardian company that does not follow any formal organization, the latest census shows that there are 124 Guardians Active at the moment, the guardians being an Elite Psyker unit used by the Crusaders they are rarely ever sent to fight in campaigns but guard the First Guardians, whose sole purpose is to hunt down relics, traitors, Daemons, Xenos, or artifacts of any origin, they are regarded as Almost like the Ordo Malleus’s Grey Knights, being so pure that a normal human would go insane by staring at them.
The Guardians are adorned with armor similar to that of the Custodes, though they are not permitted to speak to any who are outside the chapter they are famed for cutting through hundreds of traitors in folk tales of the Drancorian Peoples. The Guardians are regarded with much mystery but their real purpose is to hunt. They carry nemisis force weapons with specialized bolters inscribed with oils that burn tainted flesh.
The Libarius of the Crusaders The Libarius of the Crusaders is relatively small for a chapter as large size as the Storm Crusaders. The Chapter only has 80 Active Librarians excluding the numerous amounts of in-training Libarians, and the Guardians which act as specifically as guards and nothing more. Though the libarius is even broken further down by the Orders. Each is lead by a Magi, which is comparable to a Chief Libarian to other chapters. Though the Magistrate of the Storm Crusader’s Libarius has far more power within the chapter and has a seat within the chapter’s council.
Recruitment Many chapters have just one homeworld or during a campaign recruit among the populaces they have conquered for the imperium or imperial guard regiments. Unlike these chapters. The Crusaders recruit specifically from the 7 systems the inhabit. 3 companies hold 4 worlds where they look to for recruitment. For the 7 systems that the Crusaders maintain and protect they maintain 15 Fortresses for 90 planets within the 7 systems. Each fortress is used to recruit new crusaders and are recruited from the populace, on richer planets that are also high technological worlds such as Navian, Drancoris, Malitor, Telessar, and Corvin the populace chooses it’s best and brightest (and strongest) individuals that are all first born sons. These individuals choose to become Crusaders and are recruited at the age of sixteen terran years.
Traditions and Leadership Unlike most chapters, the Chapter is lead by a chapter council, its members are the Grand Guardians, The Ancients, First Templar, Both Grand Templars, The Magistrate, Forge Master, Chief Apothecary, Master of the Cypher, and the Arch Templar. This Council deals with all the decisions to go to war and deal with all the planning for campaigns and assign companies their duties. They are all centered around a certain element of their choosing, the only ones that do not choose are the Ancients, First Templar, and the Master of the Cypher.
It Should be noted that the Arch Templar does not hold enough power to take the entire chapter to war unless all members of the chapter and the inqusitioral representives say and agree with this. Thus Far this has never happened as the chapter is rarely together and the Captains are very active by themselves and consider it to be insane to command the entire crusaders chapter. The Chapter Council has the final say in the matter as well to ensure No single man can control the might of a legion like army.
The Master of the Cypher is absolutely unknown, he has never shown his face, even his job is a mystery, any Astrates found trying to find out about the Master of the Cypher is immediately executed for heresy or mindwiped of the even completely or severely punished. The Master of the Cypher Emphasizes Death and leads the Chapter in dealing with the dead of the chapter and also maintaining traditions, similar to a Master of Sanicty but with more tasks and may never actually enter the battlefield unless needed.
Like any chapter that deviants from the codex, the chapter has a severe mutation. Known as The Blacken Heart. Where the crusader have implantation of geneseed sometimes, on a very rare occasion go insane, and sometimes even mutate. A very infamous Crusader that went insane was Brother Calis, who somehow escaped death be it from killing the chaplain there or the chaos gods favored this servant that so readily gave his soul up for power, no one knows but. After he escaped off the Battle Barge of the Crusaders, he was found by renegades and was found to be a potential pysker. Somehow getting missed out by the chaplain that he had murdered. The Traitor Calis one day attacked a inquisition prison ship and took with him every prisoner aboard and driving them mad. Somehow he was able to boost his numbers even further. And thus started the Fourth war of Drancoris. Calis was named thereafter as the Arch Traitor, stricken off the Crusaders rooster and deleted from all banks of history, his entire planet that he came from Navious, he wiped out himself along with a bargain to destroy the planet. Calis emerged victiorious from the 4th war. First ever recorded defense of Drancoris that had failed, as calis had escaped, and taken with him several billion lives, and a quarter of the chapter in casulities. Such an insult to the chapter could not be permitted, soon the alpha squadron was formed, and Calis soon found himself on the run. As the Alpha Squadroniares, some of them being Naviouians themselves took an oath to kill Calis, a Drancorian who would be famed for the eventual killing of Calis, Calnor Alrnia Mawe, who had watched in horror as a daemon ripped apart his entire clan on drancoris, he vowed to kill all that betrayed the chapter and became the Grand Templar of the Storm Crusaders. Calis and Calnor being recruited at the same time, it was remarkable that according to official records the two were recruited on complete opposite sides. But what is widely known is that calnor slew Calis using the relic of the chapter. This weapon shed Calis’s blood inside the chapter’s holy Cathedarl and Calnor broke calis inside the temple, ending his war against the Crusaders.
Another slight mutation is the fact that two entire companies had all of a sudden mutated into monsters.

Company Organization.
The Chapter has 22 Companies which are refereed to as the Orders or Brotherhoods. Each company uses different parts of the codex Ignatus as a basis and trains on it as their trait. For Example the 22nd and the 10th companies both are radically different. The 22nd exemplifies fear and attacks the enemy during the dead of night, scout efficiently and make use of all fast attacks, they also have no devastators. The 10th uses heavy armored vechiles, razorbacks, lots of tactical squads and devastators and elite sternguard units.
Such is the difference between the companies that those outside the crusaders see them as separate chapters.
Collected thus far....
3 Companies and elements of the 11th and 12th.
3 companies are the 1st, 2nd, and the 10th companies. And armored company.

Yay or nay for a story on the Grey Knights Investigation of Chocolate world?

Do you mean Hershey Park where they make Hershey bars? Cus I live near there and they definitely need to be investigated. but if you are thinking of doing a chocolate based campaign with chocolate terrain and cake ruins... it would definitely lead to be an interesting story.

yes it would I agree.
I believe it was Candy World. A world plagued by Marshmellow people and the Crusaders have sent in the Fire Angels company in to toast some candy monsters. Would make an interesting campaign it would seem. I can't really think of a good story or a good character list. Plus IMHO I am not the greatest writer in the world. I do though hope that someone could help me with writing it. Or they could write it themselves and then i will read it and tell them what to fix if it is uncharacteristic of a crusader to do something certain.
been awhile since I have posted any new pictures of my chapter well.... Here ya go.... 1st Company BTW there are 75 Sternguard here, 40 vanguard, 26 Terminators, 8 Libarians, 5 Chaplains, 3 Dreadnoughts and 1 1st Company Captain! Yes thats right i have more vanguard and terminators than i do assault marines.
10th Company
Unbuilt Rhino..... I have yet to build it since i bought it back in 2010
more unbuilt stuff....
and more.... With Calnor Alrnia and his honor guard squad yes they need weapons because they didn't look crusader enough so I am going to get some stuff to help with that.
Hello Everyone I have an updated thing to the Fleet of the Crusaders. Also the pics of the Crusaders will be posted. On Friday hopefully. Also I have hit 7,000 Posts and as such I wrote all this..... As a massive update....
The Chapter Fleet is massive especially for an Astrates Chapter.
The Chapter Contains.
1 Hellfire Barge (The Storm's Visage)
3 Battle Barges (The Guardian, The Light of Asherian, and The Drancorian)
39 Strike Cruisers
70 Other Vessels
1 Star Port (The Eternal Light) (For defense against the Xenos Empires ahead.)
The Crusaders do maintain 2 other Battle Barges but they are from the Storm Knights chapter that contained 3 Battle Barges before its destruction the 2 Battle Barges have been given to the Adeptus Mechanicus for safe keeping if the Crusaders would ever be in need of the Battle Barge's in a war. How the Battle Barges surivived the Tyranic Battle is unknown.
The Hellfire Barge is a ship found in the ruins of the original wake of the Alien empires that the Storm Crusaders had fought against, ultizing an STC found on the planets reconquered by the Storm Crusaders they were able to produce a Hellfire Barges, being 2x larger than a Battle Barge, and able to deal with naval warfare this ship is the only ship that is eternally watching the boundries of the Drancorian's Borders. Able to unleash the fury of an entire fleet. The Hellfire barge is the only thing standing in the way between the Rebelious Aliens and its supernatural inhabitants and the Crusader's Recuriting Worlds. The Inqusition and the Imperial navy allow this as the Crusaders are the only Chapter and imperial force that take up residence there and those that are close are most likely severely weakened or are just patrols with little to no strength.
The Drancorian Empire's Shipping lanes are very important to the Imperium as they contain new shipments of the nearby Forge World which contain Power Armor, Terminator Armor, Land Raiders, and anything for a new chapter to be produced. These worlds are protected rigirously by the Storm Crusaders. The main reason why the fleet is so large is because of the threats are so great that any normal Astrates chapter would of been annihalted long ago. The Drancorian Navy also is equipped to deal with space warfare but the Storm Crusaders are also equipped as well.

Grimnar Campagin Ends.
The Iron Stone Campagin begins.
Recruitment
Many chapters have just one homeworld or during a campaign recruit among the populaces they have conquered for the imperium or imperial guard regiments. Unlike these chapters. The Crusaders recruit specifically from the 7 systems they inhabit.
Of these recuritments hundreds that fail are sent immedately to join the Drancorian Defense Forces or become Serfs.
The Crusaders then use the Nephoytes alongside the Drancorian Defense Forces to protect the Systems while the main bulk of the chapter is gone on campagin.
The 11th-19th Companies are the defenders of the Drancorian systems. All of which vary from nephoytes and Intiaties. Each Company is split over a few worlds to protect as a way of protection for the Shipping lanes which are vital to the Imperium.
Purpose
The Storm Crusaders as accordance to the pact they made must protect the Drancorian Systems at all costs. Mainly the Forge World which proves to be the Heart of the Drancorian Empire. All of which is protected by the Storm Crusaders. Also the Crusaders maintain such a high number most notably because of their overabudance of power armor and bolters. Being supplied by a Forge World does this to a chapter. The chapter is known to guard the Forge World Convoys that go to other chapters Fortress Monestaries to watch the drop offs to ensure the Adepts are not hindered in any way.
History Updated And Reedited The Storm Crusaders are an ancient Chapter, being founded during an unknown founding.
These chapters have all spread across the ghoul stars to ensure that no alien races may try to continue, the only chapters that are not located within or around the ghoul stars being, the Black Crusaders, Knightly Avengers, Storm Knights, and the Son’s of Asherian, either being banished to fight on the other side of the gaxaly or being completely eradicated from existence (Black Crusaders).
The Storm Crusaders are a massive chapter containing at least 3,700 Space Marines. Due to its large size it is often sent on campagians, that are long and bloody. The 10th,14,16,17,18th,19th,20th,22nd and the 23rd are all Active Campagin Battle Companies, These are the main bulk of the chapter, but unlike battle compaines they specialize in a certain type of Battle Brother. For Example the 10th Company Nicknamed the Iron Wolves by other Imperial Orgainzations. The Company has 4 Tactical Squads, 3 Assualt Squads, and 3 Devastator Squads. Compared to the 20th company which consists of 4 Tactical, 4 Devastators, and 2 Assualt Squads. All of the companies are very indepedent from the Chapter, each company holds a fortress or Outpost in which to recurit more troops for the chapter and their company.
Unlike Most Chapters the Storm Crusaders have 5 Elite Compaines. They are orgainized into these 5 orgianzations, they so follow, the 15th The Guardians-The Defenders of the Storm Crusader's Fortress Monestary. Alpha Squadron has no company marking but is instead the special forces of the chapter, as their name dicates they deal with some of the most fearsome oppenents in the gaxaly. .
It is also widely known the Wanderers and the Storm Crusaders hold a special hatred for each other, as the Storm Crusaders slaughtered 3 companies of the Wanderers after the Crusaders found the Wanderers to possess a Daemon Weapon and harbor a fugitive of the Storm Crusaders.
The Chapter Homeworld is a fortress world of epic porportions. As the only Fortress World within the Ghoul Stars that could boast an entire chapter of space marines, they are one of the few that stand against the alien empires that linger there. The Chapter itself was founded to protect the area as it held many imperial worlds such as a Forge World, Inqusition World, many imperial Guard Recuriting worlds, A hive World, a Research World, and many other vital Planets. The Chapter has access to all of these worlds for recuritment and supplying against their war agianst the alien species that linger on their doorstep.
FAQ I decided to do this FAQ so people are less confused and do not consider this chapter a heretical bunch of misfits.
Q: Why is the chapter so large? How can it maintain it as such without the inqusition?
A: During the first war of asherian the chapter was completely understrength and in order to deal with this they recurited as many Nephoytes as they could after they saw how useless the codex was vs an opponent that knew the codex as well. It proved to be combat ineffective against another Xenos Race the Quai'ds which were tactical experts and proved that following the Codex Astrates proved again it was probably not the brightest Ideas. The chapter after the second war for asherian laid down the Codex Ignatus which is basically the Codex Astrates but with lots of upgrades and is constantly being updated against new alien races, and also how to deal with other astrates renegade chapters and the such. The Chapter also has pentience must send half their chapter into constant campagining, The chapter must also give the inqusition control of 3 companies, the Alpha Squadron, Fire Angels and the Templars, which are the 3 most elite companies in the chapter and the future of the chapter leadership.
Q: Why doesn't the Inqusition consider them heretics?
A: Because the chapter has proved to be extremely useful, and they are the only ones out as far as they are, the only other chapters near them are hundreds of systems away. The Chapter also boasts alot of defenses for the imperium plus the Inqusition has a seat on the Chapter Council and also they are given a fortress world which the crusaders must defend at all times. Not only that but the chapter is entrusted with STCs that the Inqusition does not want belonging to the wrong hands that is why the Guardians and First Guardians go on quests to retrieve obejcts of value they are looking specifically for STC's Daemonic weapons and the like so that they can either destroy them, retreive them, or hide them underneath the Storm Crusader Fortress Monestary which is the strongest Fortress in the Entire Ghoul Stars Sector.
Q: I am confused how can the chapter be called 3 seperate chapters combined into one? How long does it take to become a crusader? What is the Leadership? How does the chapter go to war?
A: The Crusaders follow 30x stricter rules than any other astrates chapters. They are Knights and Soldiers they must follow the rules 10 fold. No other chapter that I know of exercises their initaties after gaining power armor to go through several hundred tests before becoming a full fledged Crusader. Now the chapter has 3,000 marines no one man can control the might of a legion to be safe, the Crusaders laid down a group called the Chapter Council of Asherian. This group leads every single decision in the chapter, there are 12 in total, 1 Inqusitior Lord, 3 Grand Templars, 4 Grand Guardians, 1 Ancient, 1 First Templar, the Cypher and one of the First Guardians. Each one chooses an element which they represent these elements.Such as Calnor the Grand Templar of the Storm Branch represents the Light, as a metaphor of his postion. The Chapter is split into three groups, the Storm Branch, The Defense Branch, and the Sword Branch. Each one is lead by a Grand Templar and then is split into companies that vary from 100 to 115 astrates and are lead by the Commanders and the Masters, or a Lord Commander.
Q: How many chapters are there that are descended from the Crusaders?
A: Only 10.
Q: out of those who are as large as the Crusaders?
A: Only 2 match the crusaders in Strength only because the follow the Black Templars example as straight on crusading chapters. They would be the Knightly Avengers and the Death's Angels. Which all exceed their parent chapter because of their zealousness to the emperor of mankind, the only problem is they are so spread out it makes the Black Templars think twice about how spread out they are.
Q:Out of those 10 how many have been destroied?
A: 2 have been completely wiped out to the last astrates. Storm Knights, and the Black Crusaders. 2 Other chapters have come close to extiniction the Son's of the Phoenix, and the Blue Paladins.
Q: What about the other 5?
A: One out of the 3 there are the only Astrates chapter descended from the crusaders geneseed that actually does not follow the Codex Ignatus they follow the Codex Astrates. They have only 1,000 marines and consider the rest of their brother chapters insane. The Brotherhood of the Sword and the Blade Knights have only 2,000 battle brothers each. But the Brotherhood of the Sword considers itself to be the most elite chapter ever and push themselves to be the best, their recuriting standards are appaling and the Blade Knights follow the Codex Ignatus to the letter and are brothers with the Son's of the Phoenix. though they dislike the Storm Crusaders Chapter after one of their Leaders was elected. The Son's of Asherian are the new guys, they have 2,000 marines, are completely fleet based and they cannot see their homeworld ever again, after Calnor Alrnia and the Chapter Council Banned them from ever contacting them and fighting with them. All the chapters that are decesended from the Crusaders cannot come close to each other ever. They must all be seperated from the crusaders, Son's of Asherian are now the leaders of a reclamination crusade on the outer boundries.
Q: Why are the numbers so large isn't that breaking the codex astrates?
A: Well to tell you the truth the codex astrates that limits a group of super humans that relize they are still human aren't really going to give a gak about a Primarch's works if they see the Ultramarines as traitors all of them except the Iron Raiders who are the bastard child of the Crusader's.
Q; That doesn't make sense what did the ultramarines do?
A: The Storm Crusaders have had a beef with the Ultramarines ever since they became a chapter, for some reason they have disliked them for not fighting at the Gates of the Imperial Palace and for forcing other chapters to follow their so called great book that fixes everything. The Ultramarines also had a sparing match Between one of their captains vs Tyrion of the 29th company. Tyrion won after he cheated by pulling out his Crusader knife. The ultramarines consider the crusaders Moronic childern that do not understand what could happen if the balance was upset. The Crusaders consider the Ultramarines likewise the ones that disrespect other chapters by claiming all the credit for engagements.
Q: What other rivals does the chapter have?
A: There have been quite a few chapters that hate the crusaders. The Wanderers for one, after the wanderers tried to claim a relic that was rightful the Crusaders, the chapters actually had a war against each other the Wanderers were almost annihalted (Yes the Wanderers are basically my version of the Imperial Fists in book series.) The Crusaders mope their floor and told them don't take our stuff or else we will kill you. Mostly this was started after the Wanderer Chapter Master let a First Guardian and his squad of guardians die in battle against a Tyranid Hive tyrant.
I love how I keep missing that MR. KHAN!!!!
Anyway....
I need to get the battle report up with the Wanderers vs the Storm Crusaders. Should I do this?
Yes
No

Because I sure did
If you keep reading some parts of my lore you will see alot of modern day references XD.
"Brother Captain Rick, what do we do now?"
"For the Emperor! Because... Never gonna Give you up! Never gonna let my brothers die. With you."

Time to Add some stuff. I've been working on some stuff on Warhammer40k Fanon and i have recieved 42 messages. on the first day... Argh... But I forgot to post some fluff stuff and changes. Which is here http://warhammer40kfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Storm_Crusaders
Here are two companies which I perviously had no lore on
The Firebirds *Warning* IS Highly Experimental*
Even more secret and resolute are the Firebirds. Created by Asherian himself the firebirds are Storm Crusaders that rid themselves of title and name and become The Avengers of the chapter. Taking to the sky they carry specialized bolters. Sometimes they carry even more specialized equipment to ensure their fury is made upon the enemies of the Imperium. The Firebirds are now no-longer under the control of the Storm Crusaders, they are company given to the Inqusition as Obliterators or if the Inqusition has to deal with a problem. The Firebirds are sent in. They are one of the few Astrates permitted to know of the existance of the Grey Knights.
The Firebirds have notably actually recorded the events that occured under the nose of the inqusition and sometimes have given it to only select members of the chapter. The Captain or the Cypher is the only one who may share it with those he chooses. They clad themselves in death and wear skulls as reminders of those that look upon them know their death is soon close at hand.
The Firebirds are organized as shock troops and are often sent in as kill teams, being hand picked from any company, once chosen they are never heard from by their brothers ever again. He's name, rank, and honors are scrubbed away from him as he accepts his new task. It is sometimes but very unlikely that a newly joint Astrates of the Crusaders is chosen. The attraction of new recurits for this company is the Crusader Mutation, where their eyes change according to mood and they fight in almost complete silence, as battle is comparable to an Conductor orchestrating a Choir.
They are comparable to the Deathwatch and are sometimes joint with them on missions against Xenos, Cults or the like. The Firebirds are not known widely among other chapters, though when saw the enemies the Firebirds face know their end is nigh. For they are there to destroy more than just them, but their entire world.
A Firebird
There are only 104 Firebirds.
The Paladins
Widely known as the will of the Chapter Council. They are charged with dealing with honor debts. The Paladins are comparable to the Honor Guards of a Codex Chapter. They are sent on campagins to end blood oaths or anything the chapter has towards another chapter or organization, allowing the chapter or organization to use one of the Paladins as an extra hand against anything. Usually Paladins are sent if the Crusaders know of a Campagin that might prove difficult for a chapter a Paladin honor squad is sent with a strike vessel and a small detachment of a Company along with a Novice Leader. The Paladins are the true pride of the chapter. Recruits are found from any Astrates of the Chapter that proves to withhold honor before his own life and for tasks of almost daring suicide.
The Paladins speed into battle honing their skills with Halbried and blade alike. They wield relics of the chapter and which only they can bear. Very few Crusaders ever reach the level of Paladin. Once they do they must remain a Paladin until The Chapter Council sees it is right to promote him. They are given the most unquie armor of all the Crusaders each rune or ceramite painstakingly carved into ceramite plates.
The Paladins rebuke Pyskers. None of them are pyskers, some are known to possess weapons that make even daemons rush back in fear of the weapons they have. The Paladins fight in unity, not as indiviual warriors unlike the Guardians who fight as separate Warriors. Instead of a Captain they are lead by the Chapter First Templar. It should be noted that the Inqusition takes no Interest in this Company seeing it has no use to them but only to the crusaders. But instead to inspire young Aspirants.
Beliefs
Unlike most chapters the Crusaders do not see the Emperor as a god. But as a Human of physical and mental perfection. And that he must be remembered at all costs. And that humanity must be saved even if costs them all of their lives if necessary.
This chapter is also widely known for its recruiting method. Where they let the Aspirant choose to become a Crusader or stay mortal. Those that choose to stay mortal may stay and live a normal peaceful life. those that choose To Become a crusader Leave with the Chapter Chaplain and his guard and he begins the trails. (Which are the completely inhumane trails even among the Adeptus Astrates. There are 12 trails that begin Refer to the Trails from a few pages back to know how bad it actually is....) The Chapter believes that the Humans that recruit from them must know what exactly they are and the gaxaly. Usually sending a small amount of resources to ensure the people are protected and learn to fend for themselves if the time ever comes. This of course provides an ample amount of recruits. Though the Storm Crusaders actually do maintain a secret of what they go through as an initiate.
The Drancorinain Empire along with their Navy, provide an Draconian Military basis. Of which contains at least a (Or fewer) hundred regiments.
The Chapter is quiet stricter than other chapters. It is a known rule in the crusaders that no officer in the field or any other battle brother may remove their helmet. As they know that snipers would clear the head off the Crusaders. For safety the chapter officers wear very few honors and command titles on their armor. Though if need be to strike fear they do wear all of their honors.
Technologies
The Crusaders Utilize Camouflaging technologies during times of war like many other chapters that have close ties to the Adeptus Mechanicus. This camouflaging makes the subject blend in to his surrounding but not actual cloaking but to look like the environment around them that of which detailed as warpaint. Instead it is instantaneous if activated by the Astrates.
Apothecaries are known widely to use it. For extra protection for the future of the Crusaders rests with them. Apothecaries do not wear white in the chapter as it is seen as a sign of weakness.
The Storm Crusaders sometimes have access to Stalker Pattern Bolters, Melta weapons, and plasma weapons more than other chapters.
The Chapter Armory contains a few Stormraven Gunships, Drancorian Predators which are armed with mostly plasma weaponry. (Main gun Plasma, side sponsons plasma), and even Two Contemptor Dreadnoughts.
Changes (Especially to the fleet) The Chapter Fleet is massive especially for an Astrates Chapter.
The Chapter Contains.
3 Battle Barges (The Guardian, The Light of Asherian, and The Drancorian)
39 Strike Cruisers (1 per company. The Master of the Fleet has 3, and the Guardians have 2. Alpha Squadron and the Firebirds have 1 (Each) as well. Though 1 is currently damaged)
70 Other Vessels
The Crusaders do maintain 2 other Battle Barges but they are from the Storm Knights chapter that contained 3 Battle Barges before its destruction the 2 Battle Barges have been given to the Adeptus Mechanicus for safe keeping if the Crusaders would ever be in need of the Battle Barge's in a war. How the Battle Barges survived the Tyranic Battle is unknown.
The main reason why the fleet is so large is because of the threats are so great that any normal Astrates chapter would of been annihilated long ago. The Drancorian Navy also is equipped to deal with space warfare but the Storm Crusaders are also equipped as well.
Traditions and Leadership
Unlike most chapters, the Chapter is lead by a chapter council, its members are the Grand Guardians, The Ancients, First Templar, Both Grand Templars, The Magistrate, Forge Master, Chief Apothecary, Master of the Cypher, and the Arch Templar. This Council deals with all the decisions to go to war and deal with all the planning for campaigns and assign companies their duties. They are all centered around a certain element of their choosing, the only ones that do not choose are the Ancients, First Templar, and the Master of the Cypher.
It Should be noted that the Arch Templar does not hold enough power to take the entire chapter to war unless all members of the chapter and the inquisitorial representatives say and agree with this.
The Master of the Cypher Emphasizes Death and leads the Chapter in dealing with the dead of the chapter and also maintaining traditions, similar to a Master of Sanctity but with more tasks and may never actually enter the battlefield unless needed. (Basically Master of Sanctity.)
Like the Black Templars the position of Grand Templar is attained by the vote of the captains and fought between the Lord Commanders only 3 are chosen and they lead the chapter.

Agreed. This part of my lore I agree, I've been trying to figure out how to fix the mary sueness I Think the Paladins and the Firebirds are Mary Sue to the max. Paladins i need to add some color to them. I should probably add they are no different than the Guardians just not pyskers.

Yeah but the Crusaders see it as heresy for believing he is a god. But meh. This part of my lore needs to get fixed anyway. Just rewrote specific sections.
Okay by request I have cut down the amount of chapters to 8. (Purplefood)
For I agreed I had too many chapters along with my brother. So I cut down to 8. (1 renegade, I got rid of the fact that the Wanderers have the same belief as the Crusaders to make them feel like more opposite. Though i might change this because I really liked their feel of "We are kinda emo like our Dark Angel Brethren, but we hate everyone else." Moral and physical perfection was there goal and still is so it might bound between their religious side. So I might change it. I might make the Phoenix Knights Super Religious or something i rolled a dice and got them four times. :/ ) And I have 10 Organizations to go along with them to fight against. (Of course there is sometimes not an oddity of them Fighting Each other. So After much researching (Like 2 days) I have found 7 Loyalist Chapters to use... I have combined several of my chapters or deleted several of them. They are all located near the vinicity of the Ghoul Stars in the northerns part but still in the boundaries of the Astronomicon. These chapters are dubbed. Brotherhood of the Ghoul Stars and Saviors of Drancoris. They Include The Storm Crusaders The Wanderers Dusk Guard Sword Templars Phoenix Knights* Dawn Paladins* Black Juggernauts* *Combined Chapters from pervious incarnations. Now to introduce the New Guys
Phoenix Knights Combining Both the Blade Knights and the Son's of the Phoenix (they were both the same chapters), Brothers in arms, but descendants of the Storm Crusaders, ever since I got rid of the fact that the Storm Crusaders Break Down in half. Seeing that is almost impossible I will be retconning it out of my lore. The Phoenix Knights wear Red and Bronze armor. Their Symbol is the Phoenix with a sword through it. They Guard against the Empire of the Blight. Their homeworld is the Dedarios a Feudel World reminiscent of old Earth. They do not heed the Codex Astrates and are specialists at Trench Warfare and Mechanical warfare. Having access to a large number of Vechiles, they make use of everything at their disposal they usually frown at the use of bikes and landspeeders taking heavy artillery over fast attack forces.
Dawn Paladins (Combined the Son's Of Asherian with Knightly Avengers, Blue Paladins) a Realtively New chapter the Dawn Paladins are mighty Soldiers that like the Storm Crusaders have no idea who their Founding Legion is. The Dawn Paladins often speed into battle to save Drancorian Military Personnel. Ever Since then they have won Favor the Storm Crusaders. The Dawn Paladins follow the Codex to an extent. Instead of 100 Astrates per a company they have adopted 115 per company. They maintain 3 Extra companies, 2 of which are scout companies and 1 which is an extra Assualt Company. They primary focus on Lightning Warfare. They wear White and Green Armor (µ)
Black Juggernauts (Iron Raiders, Black Fists, and the Black Ravens) They hold the world Kelitor as a Strong Point against the Eversuns Empire. Strict followers of the Codex they are descended from the Ultramarines. They see the Storm Crusaders as weaklings and often refuse to fight against them unless necessary. They are known to use everything detailed in the codex. (The Ultramarines baby :( ) They hold the world of Yeris, an world reminisicent of Ultramar. The Chapter was founded during the 7th Founding and sent to help the Crusaders against the Empires that reside there.
The Old Guys Storm Crusaders This Thread has been about this -.- Read back The Wanderers Given the Worlds of Talin's Gate, Vigil, Hell's Gate, Dorvin and access to the defenses against the Eldar Exodites. They are still fleet based. They still maintain only 580 Astrates and they are now Monks that preach of the Emperor. They seek relics of their chapter and also hunt for the Fallen. They Do not follow the Codex. Dusk Guard Blood Angel Descendants. They are realtively new to the Sector having been sent away from their original Homeworld as it was destroyed by an Unknown Space Oddity. The Chapter was given the World of Beta Zulu 245, which was settled and renamed Berin's Paradise (A joke for it is a desert planet, with three distinct moons, 1 coated in red, 1 coated in green, 1 coated in black.) Hence the chapters colors resemble this. They follow the codex and are afflicted by the Red Thirst. They use tactics like their blood angel brethren, but have a keen eye for drop podding into battle. They are charged with protecting (along with the sword templars) Neutralizing the Ork forces. Sword Templars Imperial Fists Descendant Chapter they have been with the Crusaders since they were founded (Fourth) But they know the Crusaders are far older than the records say. They maintain an Emperors Champion and are known to be universally stubborn. They are experts at siege warfare, boarding ships and take to the field with sternguards. All of their Terminators are equipped with Thunder Claymores which act as thunder hammers. They are known throughout the Sector as master swordsmen. They fight with the Dusk Guard against the Ork Wagh! Bloodeyez. They are a fleet based chapter that recurit primarily from the local regiments and death worlds of Sarynx and Jegois.

I don't think it's just this part... everything about them is some kind of unexplained, jarring exception. You really need to grasp that simply assigning characteristics which make them vastly superior to every other chapter (and nice and humane too!) does not make them interesting.

I have read that article but sometimes the author needs more than just one comment pointing out its mary sue without pointing out certain parts of it are cliched or mary sue. IT takes a group effort.
Well, okay, to start with, I'd suggest refining your ideas (which are presently all over the place) to a single theme, supported by a list of a few defining characteristics. Pretty much every one of these should be directly relevant to that theme, not just tacked-on because it sounds cool.
Pick a single, specific cultural basis (this will help with consistent names too), a broad specialism of some kind, one or two particular advantages and a few flaws or quirks. Think about their recruitment world, their progenitors, and their relationships with other Imperial institutions.
While you're doing that, keep in mind the setting's background and its tone and atmosphere, and write some brief descriptions (not a rambling narrative filled with random names) of some memorable battle or campaigns which demonstrate the theme and characteristics you've chosen.
So basically if they are Inqusitioral Lap dogs + a Black Templar theme. I will probably succeed. It is kinda all over the place. :/

Umm one problem with the Chapters overall culture. Its three seperate chapters (in an essence, three grand templars, not all of them recurit from the same world, they aren't allowed to gather the entire chapter in one place type of thing would usually do that to a chapter). With Different Beliefs. In essence if you want a comparission they all may have the same icons, myths, name and follow the same codex, But it doesn't mean that they are one big same party. They are lead by three seperate and different cultural Grand Templars. I have said before that I've been mostly focusing on the 1st-10th. Which is the most Templar. The 11th-19th is more defensive minded, hence the guardians. The 20th-30th are all vanilla in the like that they act like soldiers and nothing else, hence why the 22nd company is so werid in that it is a stealth group but they are still soldiers. And the three special companies are more than just Storm Crusaders it is all 7 chapters that I have made send marines into it. As they are too far from civilization. Of course I should probably write that in.
See I have yet to write down everything from my notebook. The Storm Crusaders themselves have 3 separate cultures. And the three companies that i have just covered, the Alpha Squadron, the Firebirds, and the Guardians act like the following
Guardians = Grey Knights (Recruited from all able body pyskers but undergo the same thing as the Grey Knights do with their 666 rites. Its just these guys are so far away its impossible to communicate with each other ever since they are all by their lonesome, but barely anyone knows about them. I just like their name )
Alpha Squadron = Deathwatch (Recruited from the 7 chapters.)
Firebirds = a Mix of both. (Recruited from any chapter that wishes to never see their marines again)
The Two companies that are very cultural are the Siege Breaker Company and the Paladins are the crusaders. The other three companies are not part of the chapter. I am planning on retconning them out of the Crusaders and Putting them out to the Brotherhood of the Ghoul Stars or the Saviors of the Ghoul Stars. ( i can't decide on a name haha)
But it is 10:37 I have finals and I have school tomorrow. So This thread won't be updated until Thursday or Saturday. I am planning on adding that the other 6 chapters are key players. But they just provide aid and that the Inquisition just uses these organizations but they are identical to their counterparts just have different identities and have a different feel to them.
Remember these are the chapters that have not seen other big chapters for a very long time they are holding the line against alien races that most astrates would think are just myths.
im sorry but all im seeing so far in this chapter is a kid dreaming about an uber chapter which encompasses every thing he likes about space marines and throwing it into one chapter. im only up to page 6 so i hope this improves seriously your chaplain is nearly as good on his stat line as abbadon who is arguably the best IC in the game. Abbadon is like 11000 years old and has all the marks of chaos. and now theres a kaavayn shrike on the scene too. plus somewhere a primarch is attempting to wiggle his way into the chapter. but on the bright side with justification this could be kinda kwl so get writing fluff.
Geneseed: Unknown (may be descended from the 11th legion)
Asherian stop making a chapter that's your wet dream and start making a logical chapter or 6.
Maybe there was the storm crusaders, they got split into 6 chapters 2 fell to chaos and attacked a third decimating its numbers. After that the renegades attack inquisitorial institutions and get the inquisition royally pissed off. Then the inquisition orders the remaining three and a bit chapters to band to get her under one banner with two commanders to share the burden of command.and that explains why the chapter is so big. It needs a bit of refining but I think it might be a more logical start.
Also don't even start with the whole descended from a legion which doesn't exist thingy. The 11th primarch was never found.
And the crap about all the archaeotech and super dooper gun needs to go cause its Mary susey. Super dooper guns need super dooper amounts of GOOD fluff to explain it. And good fluff takes time. A splash of master crafted armour here and there but make up your mind if this chapter is raven guard style blood angels style blood ravens style black Templars style or salamanders style. Nemesor out

Why? What does this add, except for confusion? If you want to make three chapters, make them one at a time, and don't make them all BFFs descended from the same progenitors. Conflict and difference drive stories - read up on the Loyalist Badab War coalition in Imperial Armour IX and X for a good example of how this can work.
Asherian Command wrote:See I have yet to write down everything from my notebook.
The problems isn't that you haven't written enough - quite the reverse, it's that you have written far too much. Right now your home-made chapter are an exemplar of terrible writing; if you want to change that, you have to be willing to start taking things out and finding a distinct theme on which to focus.

Good. Forget about Warhammer 40,000 for the rest of the week, and concentrate on your exams. Best of luck!

Who was that again? I remember I am trying to retcon everything out. And what chaplain? You Mean Calnor? You do realize he is quite fair in game we have tested him out. He actually got owned by Abaddon, but when facing a Titan he destroyed it only because he had a legjon relic. I don't remember writing rules for a chaplain this thread start way back when i sucked at writing. I have made 1 chapter in practicular that is not really mary sue more like we kinda suck and we know it.

yeah, I did study like 3 weeks. So I am fine. Its just I recently took a class in creative writing loved it but failed for "Points were great, but a little too powerful." PLus I haven't written 40k fluff in like around 3 months.

Yeah, Problem is that the people at warhammer 40k fanon really don't like them at all XD. The Iron STone story was just bad piece of writing. I can agree that my writing is not that great at that time.

My Wanderers chapter addressed that. Though I don't mention specifically what cause their almost destruction the only reason they survived was because they destroyed the planet with half their chapter still fighting.
Asherian stop making a chapter that's your wet dream and start making a logical chapter or 6.
That was a long time ago XD. Its not really new. New lore would be the current page. The Fleet, Recuritment and purpose. The 11th primarch thing was shot down, I talked about recently with some people that the Chapter shares many traits with a few legions but it is not known.
A splash of master crafted armour here and there but make up your mind if this chapter is raven guard style blood angels style blood ravens style black Templars style or salamanders style.
That I agree with. Anyway to make them their own self. Would make it better. Kinda like the Son's who are the less susey.
And the crap about all the archaeotech and super dooper gun needs to go cause its Mary susey. Super dooper guns need super dooper amounts of GOOD fluff to explain it.
Which one was it? I forgot its been a while since I actually read the lore.

That I really don't like.
BTW do you mean Calis? The Traitor? He is the one part of my lore I Have never been happy with. (Also did a game with him. Kinda bad)
Plus after a while I got rid of the notion of Asherian being a primarch. Yet again, I am planning on just making him the founder and make him sound like a great pysker hero but met his end pretty badly.
This chapter lore was originally suppose to explain why I had a shrike like guy in it, a Vulkan Hestan for my army list for a campagin. So its okay in the sense in that I know it is bad. Hence why no comments really didn't help my resolve to fix it XD
In a standard bearer article, Jervis expounded on the phrase 'murder your darlings' which basically means if you're really happy and proud with something you've created (he was referring to rules and game mechanics, but it applies equally to writing) it is almost certainly self-indulgent drivel which does nothing to drive the story, and should be deleted.
You need to murder a LOT of your darlings.
You have SO MUCH going on that it's nearly impossible to keep it all together and create a coherent picture of your chapter. You need to narrow it down, pick a few themes, and go with that.
Also, make them BAD at stuff. Being sucky and knowing it isn't really a flaw. After all, if you're aware of your problems they aren't really problems any more. Things like making them cruel, arrogant, ignorant, selfish, etc. Things that make us DISLIKE them, actually end up making us LIKE them.

I'd like to see a complete re-write.
I agree, The chapter needs a complete rework except for the things I like which I detail one thing I know I am not changing are the primary facts like, geneseed (unknown), ranks, Libarius (But cut backs), lots of astrates, big fleet, will keep characters but drop their feel to other characters, Homeworld, Admech relationship is still tight, still under oath to the inquisition, Company names in general kept, and the warcry is kept because it was a freaking fantastic idea. Heres part 1 rewrite which i had typed up in like 20 minutes. Believe it or not I can type down all the information you guys told me to change so here is the plan.
Asherian Command's Journal Part 1 wrote:The Storm Crusaders Complete rewrite. The Storm Crusaders an Ancient chapter founded sometime during or before the third founding. The Storm Crusaders are known widely for their campaigns and extreme power over the Ghoul Stars. They are part of the Brotherhood of the Ghoul Stars. An assortment of other Space Marine Chapters that guard the Ghoul Stars against the Creatures, empires, and traitors. The Ghoul stars withhold a large contigent of Imperial Worlds, but are spread far out. The Storm Crusaders originally finding the Codex Astrates ineffective to a highly intelligent Xenos empire. Dissolved the codex, and fought randomly, until Adopting the Codex Ignatus. The ancient texts were written by skilled tacticians and is kept on being edited if new tactics are developed so that future generations might fight against the enemies at hand. The Storm Crusaders have strong ties to an Admech world and its Leader. Resulting in a deal between the Crusaders and the Admech priests both of which benefit from. The Crusaders were provided Power Armor, Terminator Armor, and means to support a much larger force. This did not go unnoticed by the Inquisition as they immediately investigated putting the Crusaders in a ‘house arrest’. The Storm Crusaders forged an Oath to the Inquisition to forever work for the Inquisition. The Crusaders could maintain only up to 3,500 Astrates before any part of that chapter would have to hold the entire ghoul stars. The Storm Crusaders must also have no larger than 1,000 Storm Crusaders in one area. Unless permitted. For the past 9,000 years the Storm Crusaders have held the Beings of the Ghoul Stars at bay. For if they were to be defeated the entire Imperium would be overwhelmed quickly. The Storm Crusaders then helped fashion the Alpha Squadron, a Deathwatch counterpart that mainly and only involves itself in the Ghoul Stars.
Retcons. The 22nd Company is no longer a Replica of the Raven Guard The Alpha Squadron are not apart of the Crusaders The Firebirds are now an elite company in place of the Guardians. They are no longer a clean up force but shock troops. They will still have Jump Packs and Bolters but they will be more like the Legion of the Damned in that they arrive randomly.
The Guardians are Grey Knights but they are not apart of the Crusaders but they vowed to help the crusaders. But they are drawn from all the chapters of the brotherhood secretly.
Grand Guardians are Now Lords of the Chapter that is equalvent to a Chapter Councilor. Which they make decisions. There are now Three Grand Templars, Calnor Alnria, , and Val Jerio. Arch Templar is still Malnar Grestov, but he does not control an entire Space marine legion. Asherian is not a Primarch. Malnar and Altorick will remain for personnel reasons. Altorick is still an old geezer. Garane is still a venerable dreadnought. There are now 12 Members of the Chapter High Council. Loken, Nightbringer (Who is now just a bloody piece of work that likes doing drop pod assaults and striking fear into enemies instead of striking from the shadows.) Calick is still a ultramarine lover. Malick is still Magistrate. The Libarius will remain intact in that it is reduced in size by 300%. The Five Libarius Orders are still existant and WILL NOT BE CHANGED. (as I wrote that recently and it is by far the better part of it) The Paladins are now the 15th Company. The firebirds are considered the 31st, The Siegebreakers are the (Which are all techmarines) 32nd and the 33rd-34th are the Libarian Orders, which is split into the 5 orders. Apothecaries are now wearing camoed armor. Stalker Bolters are now no longer apart of the crusaders. For HERSEY! The crusaders will now focus more on Assualt Combat, Siege Breaking, and Lasting campaigns. The Crusaders symbol is remaining the same. There is still a 21st company with 100 terminators. Lore will be rewritten What the hell is a Hellfire barge? Stalker Bolter is only given to Alpha Squadron. Yes Malnar was frozen in Stasis, his history will be changed Accordingly. The Chapter Secrets were changed. First Guardians are now apart of the Guardians Chapter. Which are now its own chapter. But are not exactly like grey knights they maintain the original image of the grey Knights. Alpha Squadron is now the Deathwatch of the ghoul stars. Calnor still comes from this group though. Calis is now more like the Badab Tyrant for the reason that he betrayed a chapter though I will not name until it is written. Flaws are going to be added seeing as these guys were too good. Even in my eyes. They will be given a blood lust ability where they go into an abosolute rage and make themselves feel ignorant and more brutal than other chapters. The chapter sometimes leaves entire worlds to die in the face of the necrons if all hope is lost.
asherian is srarting to get some where. i had a massive message typed up on my i touch then the safari rage quitted but wit this whole mutants in the basement stuff you could make gak sinister by adding some night lords / alpha legion hand into screwing wit the chapter. (as you can tell i collect chaos )
Anyway i have with me the codex necrons. this is a huge problem with the whole guardians of the ghoul stars thingy. heres an excerpt from the codex necrons:
The Bone Kingdom of Drazak In the extreme northeast of the galaxy lie the ghoul stars.
Here, on worlds lit by the cold rays of dying suns, tread creatures out of primal nightmare: Cythor Fiends, Togoran Bloodreeks and other creatures so alien as to seen born out of the supernatural. Yet even here, one horror outpaces all others - The Bone Kingdom of Drazak.
Drazak is a haunt of flayed ones, those cursed Necrons blighted by a hunger for flesh. They stalk Drazak's desolate streets, fighting over gobbets of rotting meat and shards of bone, desperate to sate the clamor of their of their deluded senses. Only one of Drazak's entire population is proof from its pervading madness - vagûl, the fallen lord... (blah blah blah matt ward blah blah blah(vagûl is the only guy not driven nuts by the flayer virus))
Every few solar months vagûl when no ore meat remains - whether because it has been torn into fragments to tiny to scramble over or simply due to inexorable rot - vagûl announces a new time of bounty, and dispatches the fleets of drazak to raid nearby worlds. These reavers of Drazak seek not riches nor conventional plunder - only tithes f gore and cooling blood.
So there you have a problem that your chapter is right on the door step of several million or more hungry flayed ones. But if you work it right it could be incorporated into your training as it is very regular. for
Automatically Appended Next Post: And whether you like that or not your chapter will have to deal with cause they cant kill all of them there's too many of them.

well that may be a problem. But I have covered it. The Wanderers and the Dusk Paladins deal with them with hundreds of thousands of regiments and a few fleets of the Drancorianian Navy. It will be quite difficult to talk about the Ghoul star stuff considering we are the extreme northeast.
Thank god there are 19,000 Astrates in total in that area... Which is still not alot. But considering my luck against necrons in actual campagins I will do fine.
Just losses. And the fact there are alot of pyskers which means the Necrons will hate facing the Guardians, and the Wanderers. (Another problem is that there was a tyranid hive fleet.) I would actually like someone to help me write about the Drancorian Empire. As I suck at Imperial Guard and Imperial Navy stuff.
In all honesty I have planned on making the Firebirds more of an insane rebelious part of the chapter who were Astrates that did something that the chapter may have protested against and then the astrates are sent into the suicidal Firebirds. I mean Firebird entails they are doing something insane, and considering they are siegebreakers and experts at defense. It would be interesting.

Believe it or not I can type down all the information you guys told me to change so here is the plan.

uh some of them are the main darlings that need murdering are the ones that you aren't... war cry is cool though if their bound to the admech and the inquisition they are um... bound to get conflicting orders.
but i love the effort that you put into this chapter and all the fluff you write. The quality of the fluff has improved beyond sight and 3.5k of marines could actually b justified cause of what's in the ghoul stars + the 3 grand masters means the chances of total corruption is small.

Exactly. Which parts of the fluff? Geneseed unknown part is kept. And ranks i might need to rewrite. 39 Strike cruisers sound like too much? well now its down to 32. Btw the newer Warcry is "Fear us! For the Storm has come for you!" Freaking brilliant. But anyway yes the amount of corruption is incredibely small. I plan on doing instead of the main chaos gods have a cult to Malice seeing it would fit for their hate of chaos. Exodites also live in the ghoul stars, so i have to address them, can't forget about the orks of course. Tau are too far and I will ignore them. Black Legion and Thousand sons have no place in the area. Iron Warriors might along with Alpha Legion.
But yeah the ADmech with the Inqusition thing I thought about. And it matters which ordo. And the Admech and the Crusaders are just allied along with the rest of the brotherhood.
Yeah I will look at the stuff when i have time on thursday today is exam day and i studied my heart out. ugh now to sleep.
mm you know for training your neophytes the waves of necron flayed ones could be useful. and you will need to recruit more that once every 3 years to keep up such large numbers with such a rigorous induction whatever you call them cause like heaps die being a space marine
and i had a slightly ramdon omg moment. ima buy some space marines sometime (which basically means i wont) and make a space marine band called the spice marines
Automatically Appended Next Post: good luck with your exam all the best.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Maybe lotsa battle barges like 9 of them but alot less strike cruisers to represent the mechanicus hand in things.
remember this is your chapter so do what you want with it. i understandwanting to make an uber chapter i like to pretend thatmy daemon prince is the 2nd primarch and is s9 t10 wit patronage of khrone and nurgle wit 2+ and 2++ 8 attacks (+ the 2d6 extra attacks from the bloodfeeder) and 2+ wounding poison weapons that were an amalgamation of a blood feeder and plaugebringer daemon weapon. iactually tricked one of the guy at the club into letting me play that cause he was in a hurry and couldnt b bothered looking so he just said yes. he wanted a quick game and thats what he got. space marines nek minnit
iv got an idea of an enormous ork warboss holding a leman russ gun turret as a club and a vindicator dozer blade as a sheild. that way he would have a raged weapon and a cc weapon all in 1. it would look pretty cool in a dynamic position wit tha sheild dropped and the club raised into the air as if he is about to slam into a group of guardsmen
