OOC - Ah, of course, the fleet I already destroyed is taking more fire?....

I am very confused

Suddenly an explosion rocked the medical frigate. glass broke and people fell over as the ship shook.

"What by the emperor's underwear is happening?!" Coc0 screamed out to the medic.

"I don't know, m'lord!" He cried out before getting hit by a medical card that came rolling past.

Suddenly the intercom speakers sprang to life: "We have been hit by repeated lance fire from the surface and warp drives have been destroyed, we shall return to low orbit. Warp jump dismissed."

What was this the cargo ships were turning around, Mozzyfuzzy groaned damn you Maverick this was all an elaborate ploy to ensare him in what he thought was going to be a cleverly concocted ploy of sabotage.

As the ship landed, Mozzyfuzzy decided he wasn't going to go down without a fight. Letting out a tremendous roar he charged towards the exit with his men falling in behind him, they would fight their way towards the loyalists CP while causing as much destruction as possible.

He whispered to his daemonic blade " We shall send their souls to Slaanesh"

Bursting out into the hangers he took the first group of thrusters completly by surprise and quickly moved on to the next groupbefore they could raise the alarm as his brothers brought their bolters to bear upon the other thrusters looking on in shock as their comrades were so easily dispatched.

Without stopping to see if his men were behind him, he raced through an access corridor in the hope it would lead to a way out ( I'll leave it up for Maverick to decide where I end up, but please don't have me running into the parade grounds or somehting like that)

OOC - This are the leftovers of both fox's and my fleet. and reinforcements. Don't worry, i'm going to blow them up.

((from my point of view I stowed away on one of Mavericks ships that went to chase Nikev, this turned back as Maverick realised Nikev would bring Vera back or Vera would escape and bring himself back. Don't know about anyone else))

mozzyfuzzy's troops ran out of the door, and fell a kilometer, from the door of the ship, to the bottom of the hangar bay, as the ramp had not yet been connected. poor show.

Maverick turned to the hangar bay window of the command centre. As he stood there, downing a well-earned beer, three marines fell past the window.

Shocked, he looked up, to see more marines falling from the sky, of the ship docked in the bay.

"Ummm... trooper? send some servitors to clean the bottom of hangar bay 2, please?"

The remnants of the fleet were turning back to thrustabon as many ships their warp drives had been destroyed and the others couldn't leave the rest behind.

meanwhile it was getting chaotic aboard the medical frigate. As it was flying in the back of the fleet it took many hits.
The intercom switched on again and the voice said:

"Hull breach in sector 7, no survivors." (mass effect 2 reference)

Captain coc0 ran for the escape pods when he came to a window and looked into space. He could see the drop pods raining once again from the strike cruisers and thunderhawks could be seen departing from their hangar bays.

He got blinded by a light suddenly. It was one of the imperial navy cruiser disappear in an enormous explosion. When he peared back to his battle barge he could see Niko Alvarez his thunderhawk depart, he recognized the graffiti on the cockpit. He then activated his microbead and said to the pilot:

"Niko, this is coc0. Get me off this floating hospital before it blows up! Pick me up in hangar bay 2." He didn't wait for a response but immediately went on to the hangar bay.

ah but if the ramp had not been connected then the doors would not be open, in case whatever precious cargo was inside might fall out. (sorry coco for being off topic or war or whatever)

Lord Maverick was now seated in his command chair. The maps were drawn, the fortresses manned, and the guns primed. The Thrust-Corps was standing by for war.

Sir I concede defeat.

BUT luckily I had the presence of mind to leap while exiting thus ensuring my safe arrival into the hanger and allowing my daringly heroic escape to continue.

Maverick closed the hangar doors. with twenty feet of concrete separating mozzy and the world, there was no way out. The ship door closed, and there was no way out but down for him now.

(OOC - jump to your death or sit and wait the war out... your choice? pahahha)

As coc0 stepped onto the ramp of Niko's thunderhawk. The pods rained down in a different area of Thrustabon. (I'll make a map of this new area in a few minutes, the other one is getting boring.) They crashed down to the ground and marines disgorged preparing for combat.


As Niko's thunderhawk took off from the medical frigate they could see a golden lance strike come from the planet's surface and strike it's hull. Several small explosions rocked the ship on the outside after which the entire thing blew out of existence in a purple-blue fireball.

(OOC - i trust that maverick's cyclonic torpedo loaded deathstrike will finish off the rest of the fleet.)

It's only concrete I'll chip my way out using my daemon sword.

or leap back into your ship and burst out heroically later on

Maverick looked to the skies. If the space marines were coming down, he'd bring their ships down too.

Firing his deathstrike cyclonic torpedos at the fleet, the ships disintegrated, and fell towards the space marine base, a hailstorm of parts and ships falling towards the marine LZ.

(OOC - that's not you fooked, tell thje story of how the marines avoid the hellstorm )

Fleet stanby to launch all forces to our desiganted area provided by our brothers, Gregersen announced to the fleet.

Gregersen went to his drop pod and deployed to the surface just outside of Pelvicon where he and his forces would set up their positions.

Maverick turned to the map-board, and panned the screen over to another section of map. a city was visible, and so was the fist's bridgehead.

So i AM putting you on this map?

Maverick repeated into the comms-set.

Vera's micro bead piped with life,
"Nikev. I kzzz you kzzzzzz me. Reply, kzzzzz." came a muffled voice. Laughing into the ear-piece "Awe, are you sad because we've stolen and bound your sole 'lord'" with that, Nikev threw the micro-bead to the floor and smashed it under his boot.

Signal the fleet to land here, he said, pointing at the map in the room. after he had left Vera in his prison cell. It will be good to see my comrade Fox again.....he looked around hearing a few dirty jokes, "You know, she may be Foxy, But you boys should know this Fox bites."

As coc0's pods crashed down followed by some small bits and bobs of metal from the space ships. Coc0 himself sat in the cockpit of the thunderhawk that had rescued him from the medical frigate.

"Land over there." He said to the pilot "inbetween those mountains, the rest of our force should be there too. If my expectations are correct, and they nearly always are, the city of pelvicton down there should be undefended and easy to take. "

As the thunderhawk skimmed over the city of pelvicton they suddenly saw flak fire coming out of the mass of buildings. Even though Niko(the pilot) dodged many eventually the left wing was hit and they were going down...

As the thunderhawk went down coc0 saw his life flashing before his eyes: His youth on Rynn's world, his success during the annual festival, being indoctrinated into the chapter, being the best scout of his squad, his many centuries as a tactical marine and becoming a captain.

Moments before the craft hit the ground he mumbled: "There is only the emperor..."

Then the craft hit the ground with a Crimson fireball and a deafening bang.

Maverick flinched away from the mapboard. The satellite imagery showed a massive flash and fireball.

His earpiece crackled into life.

"We have an enemy thunderhawk down, repeat, enemy thunderhawk down."

Bah, 14 pages of thrust...who can resist? Oh yeah, I can! *leaves thread again*

As he and his vanguard of drop pods appear from the clouds, the so called "easy to take city" of Pelvicon open up with flak coming from defense guns detonating too late to hit the pods. Gregersen tells his forces to head straight behind a hill below them to help shelter them from flak fire. His forces arrive on the ground with pretty much intact with a few casualties due to technical difficulty.

The two companies of wolves spread out and set up their encampment, whirlwinds setting up, and predator, vendicator, and land raider divisions lining up, the wolves would hunt.

CocO Gregersen said over a voxcaster, trying to contact the Crimson Fist comander we have landed, we read you have also, respond.

Gregersen this is the fists our commander has dissapeared in the city we do not know where he is.

Gregersen frowned, "Preapare a valkyrie we go to investigate." he said.

Gregersen tried to contact coc0, but all he heard was static.

Maverick was annoyed.

"Will someone tell that oversized mutt to use punctuation over the vox, dammit!"

Ludd agreed with Maverick, he was out of breath just reading the transcript from that vox, in fact, his face had gone purple...

Coc0 stumbled out of the craft with damaged power armour and with his thunderhammer dragging behind him. After putting his thunderhammer on the ground he stumbled back into the burning debris and dragged out Niko. The pilot still showed vitals, but needed an apothecary to make it.

After having dragged out Niko he sat on down against a half crumbled wall of the building they had crashed into, and tried to contact his men.

Maverick turned to a messenger.

"You there! Take this. This book is the "Codex Dictionatus" Take it to Gregersen, now!"

"But he's enemy, sah!"

"Do I Care?"

Gregersen heard his enemy Maverick complaining, he tells them to get the feth over it. then a enemy messenger appears, Gregersen shoots him.(jk)

Flying towards the city, Gregersen sees smoke, "head towards that he points it out to the pilot," once said, they figure out what it is flak pours from the city, he growls at the pilot to land them before they are shot down.

Landing he and his wolfguard deploy to see if they can help the Crimson commander.

Coc0 kept searching for channels on his micro-bead. When he found his own fist channel all he heard was static. So he tried to contact the space wolves who had landed by the eastern mountain.

"Gregersen, do you read me? This is captain coc0. My thunderhawk crashed into pelvicton and my pilot is in bad shape. Requesting support immediatly! If you read me, please respond."

"CocO this is Gregersen," hes say over his microbead, we hear you, we have landed due to flak fire and we are enroute to your location. Gregersen looks at his fellow wolves and smiles, let go save this captain so he isnt completely painted crimson. with that his pack howls and goes toward the captains poisition.

(Just making a joke.)

Closing the distance to the wreckage, the pack of wolves were making good time, then the artillery shelling began, "take cover!" Gregersen roared. The shellong shook the ground around them leaving craters 5 -10 meters deep, They were sheltering in habshacks outside the walls when the shelling stopped, this meant only one of two things. Either the enemy was out of ammunition(very unlikely) or they infantry and armour was coming. "Move men!Move! The enemy is upon us!" Gregersen howled. He and his pack rushed the last meters to the crash. "Hail CocO, we have come to save you, looks like we've come to die with you instead." Laughed Gregersen, "so lets die well!"

Maverick spoke quickly.

"Alpha platoon, advance north, and take the crash site. No, Lieutenant. I don't care if they're space marines, take that site."

"Bravo platoon, advance northeast, and hold the ridge over the crash site. Provide covering fire to Alpha platoon."

"Charlie platoon, advance north and set up on the farside of the crash site. Join alpha platoon for the attack."

The ability to command platoons as well as regiments on the battlefield meant that Maverick could co-ordinate plans even lord tzeentch would be proud of.

"1-2 Company, fall back to grid 54G, and prepare to ambush. Space wolves forces moving along road to north. Keep it frosty, gentlemen."

The survivors looked out of the small buildings that made up their makeshift war camp. In the distance, Gerard Mcthruster (chapter master of the angels enthrusting) could see an enemy cruiser on top of the sea. To his left, he could see drop pods crashing down near thrusty mountain. He walked around the camp making sure the apothcaries tended to the wounded, while the techmarines worked on the equipment. Stepping into the Eldar portion of the camp, he walked into Munch's command tent.
"Sir, Coc0's forces have landed near the mountain. They are currently gathering forces along with Gregersen's troops. What should we do now?"
(OOC-No really. I've used my creativity up. What should I do now?)

As the wolves preceded north along the road with cocO and the wounded pilot, Gregersen stopped. Sniffing the air with senses better than that of a wolfs, his pack felt his tenseness. "We are being wathched, stay sharp the enemy is upon us they thinks they can anbush the wolves, lets show them how we hunt." he whispered over his microbead. With that he howled a sound that was like death on the wind. The wolves hunted and they came upon the ambush party and ripped them to shreds. The screams from those men on that blood soaked ground made their masters think twice before trying such a cheap trick on wolves.

As the Massive Fleet moved to its destination, an EVEN LARGER fleet flew to meet them. As the fleets merged, the larger fleet created a perimeter around the smaller fleet, escorting but also forcing it along its path. The Ships bore no insignia and were a bland grey color to show their neutrality. They were of a design that no race in our world had yet seen, but a few.

As the ships got closer to the planet, they were forced to us smaller cruise ships and leave the war ships behind. As they got ever closer to the planet, they were forced to use drop ships instead of cruise ships. This, was to ensure the safety of the counsel. As the few drop ships, loaded with Nikev and the Prisoner Shas, in one with Nikev's Military Expedition Force, and Ribon Fox and her Force in another, they descended to the planet. The planet was massive in size, and contained massive yet cities on it, extending deep into space from the planets surface.

"You really shouldn't have started your foolish rebellion." Nikev looked at Shas, who was chained and bound, "The council doesn't take kindly to upstart hooligans who kill their brave" Nikev began to raise his voice and show his anger in his features"sons and daughters who risk their lives every single Emperor Blessed day so that filth like you can be safe in your home and live your pathetic little li-" "I don't think yelling will solve the problems of the Universe" Came a old and withered voice.

Everyone fell silent, and NIkev fell back into his position by Shas's side. "So, this is the boy" said an ancient Tau Ethereal. He had aged so much that he no longer had normal Tau legs, they were replaced by 4 spider like machine legs that wirred and made sharp striking noises every time one of them hit the ground. The Ethereal moved within arms distance of Shas and stood right in front of him. "Counsel member it is unwise to be within-" "I shall take my risks thank you Nikev. Me and mine are more than capable of handling this 'prisoner' as you call him. So why don't you just follow me then boy? Hmmm" The Ethereal smiled at Vera and beckoned him to follow.

They began walking down the path into the city. Nikev on one side of Vera, hand on his bolt pistol the whole time. Fox was on the other side, with her hand on her side-arm. As the Forces moved on, the city streets began to get smaller. Nikev, knowing that marching an army through a city with streets as small as this is hell in a hand basket, relived the majority of His and Fox's armies to go to town but to stay alert.

(OOC - Ribon if you don't want to be with the group but instead go explore this city then by all means, just detach yourself from the group.
But I'll leave it here for now. If Ribon or Vera want to post anything, the most I could say is describing the walk. we are pretty much walking in a straight line to the Chambers of the Counsel member.

And by the way Vera, don't try to run away, you CANNOT escape, your surrounded, even in the shadows there are agents who will just capture you again. so escape atm would be a big ->

Licking the blood from their fangs and blades, Gregersen is laghing and singing with his men in the middle of the heaps of dead heretical IG, coc0 comes up supporting the wounded pilot, horrified at the carnage the wolves have wrought he goes to confront the pack leader.

(Coc0 you have to come up with something to say, i dont write for other characters, so your a Crimson Fist, and you honor bound to uphold your honor and principles, it ought to add some conflict between allies.)

You shouldn't give in to the bloodshed! What kind of honour is there in mindlessly slaughtering your enemy?! Being a space marine is about having courage, not just having the ability to cut your foe in pieces! You are a shame to the astartes! It is that me and my pilot are wounded, otherwise I'd just leave you to fall to the ruinous powers right here!"

Lord Maverick turned to his aide.

"Deploy the Tunnelers."

Deep within the planet's surface, a chamber of pods erupted into life. A full Thrustanid hive, frozen cryogenically, and stored in pods started to move. Their bodies re-animating and preparing to move. The tunnelers struck into life, and began to bore towards the surface.

On reaching the surface, the pods broke the ground all around gregersen's men. Many space wolves were torn apart by the grinding gears of the tunneling mechanisms, but that was not the worst of the casualties.

Suddenly, the hatch doors blew open, the explosive bolts catapulting the hatches into the air. Then, a swarm of Thrustanids leapt out of the pods, and tore into the space wolves.

The space wolf army was decimated, many brave warriors falling at the hands and claws of the thrustanids. And then, the 'nids launched a spidersweb of sorts at gregersen and his remaining men, and captured them in it's grasp.

Then the warrior began to walk, walk away towards the citadel to the north, where Lord Maverick awaited his audience.

Mozzyfuzzy had grown impatient (not that as a chaos lord he was patient in the first place-> leaping into a cargobay with the ship a good distance away) The ritual was taking too long. He wanted those reinforcements and he wanted them now. How could he fight a battle when he had no army to engage the enemy with?

He turned his microbead on " Maverick I'm going to make this clear, I take orders from you and only you, anyone else tries to give me orders then I will take their head (still attached to their body) and stick it where the sun don't shine, ARE WE CLEAR?"

Maverick was startled. The pelvic force was strong with this one.

"Moz, I have sent the 42nd Elysian regiment to your position. Take the 42nd, and wreak what havoc you see fit."

"I will accept your offer, but my sorcerer has just finished the final preperations and is about to open a bigger and more stable warprift, allowing the rest of my forces to pour through, along with some assistance from my patron God"

The air crackled around him, A swirling vortex opened as he turned round. Mozzyfuzzy let out a joyfull laugh,as the first of many Chaos Space Marines strode purpusfully through.

"welcome my brothers, the battle here is a good one, there are many souls to offer up to our God"

Lord Maverick was seated in his chair, facing the wall-map. The bunker doors opened, and the sound of footsteps down the corridor could be heard. The footsteps halted, and a deep, rough voice spoke.

"Warmaster, the captives have been brought here, as you requested."

Maverick turned in his chair. Gregersen and Coc0 were infront of him, trapped between two stasis fields, so they could not escape, nor attack him.

"Gentlemen. I suppose you are wondering why I brought you here."

Coc0 spoke.

"What is it, Maverick? Why do you prolong our inevitable deaths at your hand?"

"I do not intend to harm either of you. If you both listen carefully, you shall both leave this fortress very much alive."

"Why would I, a son of Dorn, ever listen to such a filthy heretic as you?" coc0 replied

A cruel smile played on the edges of Maverick's mouth.

"Firstly, gentlemen, I offer you the chance to join us. I know however, that you shall not accept the offer, so I shall carry on."

He turned to the screen, where a planet was visible.

"Recently, we learned the co-ordinates of the bastion-planet where Shas'O Vera is being kept. You, as loyalist members, will travel to this world, and carry a message directly to the hands of Commissar Nikev."

He turned to face them.

"Alternatively, you can die right here, right now."

He unsheathed his phase sword, and pointed it at the two unarmed, and unarmoured, captives.

"Well, gentlemen? What shall it be?"

"Because" roared mozzyfuzzy as he burst into the room... took a quick look around " oh damn, to late to tell him why he should listen, because you've already told him Maverick". Then Mozzyfuzzy stormed out muttering to himself as he went.

"I shall bring the message to him. But only if you return all my equipment to me and get my pilot a medic. Also i want one of your escort craft to take me there. But it shall be under my command."

Lord Maverick toyed with the idea.

"Commander, I shall provide you with a light cruiser. I shall have the guns removed - I don't want you making an escape. Your pilot is in our Medicae Facility, and we shall keep him as collateral. Any loss of contact, or breach of agreement, and he shall fall at my hand. Gregersen shall remain in my control room as a barter chip also."

Maverick turned to the Colonel who had brought them in.

"Colonel. Take this man to Escort Vessel 3-4. Have the crew start it up, and this man is in command from there on in. If he tries any funny business, blow the cruiser. Understood?"

"Yes Lord."

"Commander, here is your message."

Maverick handed Coc0 a DataSlate with a fingerprint scanner.

"Only Nikev can open it. Any tampering, and I will be alerted, at which point, your pilot shall cease to be. Colonel, get this man moving. Trooper, send Coc0's equipment to the ship."

Lord Maverick turned to the screen.

"You are wasting time, Commander."

Mozzyfuzzy strode back into the room

"My Lord, would you like me to escort the prisoner to his ship?"

Coc0 walked to the shuttle that would bring him to the cruiser. He was escorted by two angels enthrusting in terminator armour that made sure he wouldn't try anything funny.

"You fools!" He said to them "You are space marines. You should trust the emperor and not thrust him! I wish i could just call you misguided, but you are just idiotic! Idiotic heretical fools! We will blow you off the face of the universe."

The response by the terminators to this was the left terminator smacking him in the head with his deactivated powerfist. Coc0 grumbled and walked on.

Maverick turned to Moz.

"Go with him to this world."

Coc0 activated his microbead and spoke to maverick:

"Maverick, this is coc0. Even though you are a heretical scumbag and i would not prefer any contact with you. I have a small issue. You say it is a fortress world. As soon as this thruster bucket of bolts appear from the warp it will become a lance magnet for any ship in orbit. What should i do about this?"

Maverick gave a short reply.

"Commander Coc0, that's your problem now."

"Fine then, i hope we meet again at the right side of the emperor, warmaster." He replied, somewhat impressed by the tactical genius that maverick was.

Suddenly he wondered. There were no fleets at all in orbit, and this one he had never seen. It must have gotten here unnoticed.

But, that would take some sort of tactical geniu-

He cleaved through the opposite SM's head with a speed born of neccesity. Kneeling over, the still gasping guard, whose throat was completely ripped out he smiled, reaching for the guards microbead he left with it, "Now to find my weapons and armour, then Maverick will pay, i will hunt him, and make him my dog on the edge of a leash." Gregersen said to himself.

Using his sense of smell, he found his equipment in a locker. Now its time to hunt.

I hate you Maverick.....just saying....no one was supposed to come here. *sigh* curses...this mucks up the things I had not planned.

They had been walking for a few minutes now, all around were shops that were selling useless and somewhat useful things. The merchants were not staying to their usual routine though, they usually run up and block the paths of travelers and try to 'persuade' them into buying one of their items. Seeing the counsel member, the merchants all kept back to their stalls.

"So boy," the Ancient one began, "I would like to tell you a story, this is the story of how together we are unstoppable but alone, we are nothing but a danger for our loved ones.The Story begins with 2 wolves, they had a small batch, and this batch grew to be a powerful batch of wolves. When the batch was old enough, the formed a pack. The pack was one of the most powerful pack for a very long time due to their ability to work together and assess situations and adapt. Although, there was one wolf who was always trying to be different than the others. He would go out and attempt to hunt on his own. Being a pack, they usually discussed they're prey as they stalked it in the darkness. They always made sure there were no surprises to be had. But one night, when the pack was asleep, he decided to try and hunt again. This night seemed to be his lucky night. For when he was searching, he came upon a wounded bear. The bear was barely moving it was so wounded. So with this, the Wolf though no more and lept into action to claim the kill. As the wolf neared the bear, 3 more bears lept from behind cover and came after the lone wolf. The wounded bear, being a master of deception, lept up and joined his brothers in going after the wolf. Jumping and weaving through their strikes, the wolf was wounded. Scared and injured, the wolf ran back to his pack in hopes of help. Upon making it back to their cave, he began telling the story when the bears appeared at the mouth of the cave, roaring and sharpening their claws on the rocks. Cornered and Overpowered, the Wolves could do nothing as the bears closed in on them."

Looking up Nikev was surprised to see that they were at the foot of the Citadel."SIR!" Bantine announced suddenly,"There is a message, a Thruster ship has entered space but it bears no weapons. It has been captured and forced to land. The Captin, sir the Captain is Coc0loc0". "Wha- What?" Nikev said."Go dear boy" the Ancient one said, "We aren't going to begin without you. We will simply, Talk to our friend here.". "Thank you Ancient one" NIkev said turning to leave, "Fox, stay with him, I will go greet our dear friend." Nikev began running as fast as possible with his band behind him.

Reaching the Hanger, Nikev jogged up to Coc0 "How? How? did you get here, and how did you find this place?" Nikev asked as he greeted the Ultramarine.

Stranded, bloody, exhausted. These were just a few of the words to describe Farseer Munch. The space wolves had found him as he tried to sneak into the camp. Unfortunatley, their enhanced senses had him found out.
At last, he thought, it is time to join my brothers.
Screaming, he charged into the space wolves pack, the fallen striking scorpion's chainsword tearing into the dogs. A lucky blow landed on Munch, breaking quite a few bones and forcing him on his knees. With a cry, he slumped to the ground. With his purpose to kill as many as he could, he started gathering a magical ball of energy.
"What do you have to say, Eldar pansy?"
"Just one thing furry: Do all dogs go to heaven?"
And with that, he released his energy ball, killing himself and the Space wolves pack in a powerful blast that lit up the night sky. And for once since this war had started, all was silent.

"I will tell you all about how i got here later, for that is a long story." CRIMSON FISTS captain coc0 said to Nikev "For now, commissar, all i have for you is this dataslate. It contains a message."

Nikev pressed his finger against the data slate. A holographic projection of Maverick Appeared.

"Commissar Nikev. If you can hear this, Commander Coc0 has completed his mission, and you are listening to this recording."

The hologram took out a pipe, and began to puff away.

"I'm sure you're wondering what I have to say."

The hologram looked at the floor.

"This is a message of warning, Commissar. Shas'O Vera is not the sort of man one can readily contain. There are powers... Dark, dark Powers contained within him. You, and all your men, and all the members of your council, are in grave, grave danger. The sheer presence of Vera causes men to go insane, corrupts them to the Thruster Cause."

The holo-Maverick looked at Nikev now, directly in the eye.

"I tell you this not because I an defecting, but because enemies..." Maverick paused. "have a common courtesy towards each other."

"I feel it is my duty to warn you of the imminent danger of all your leaders and deities. I have refrained from sending strike vessels to your world, that is my sign that my word is the truth."

Maverick turned to Coc0.

"Commander, many apologies, but your pilot died in surgery, shortly after you left. I have sent his body and equipment to your men. Sorry, Commander."

Maverick puffed on his pipe.

"And Commissar, stay frosty. Just because I've shown kindness, doesn't mean I'm not ruthless, callous and cold. I will readily destroy you, if I ever get the chance. Return Vera to us. That is your only hope to survive. You do not know the full extent of what you are facing, gentlemen."

"Maverick out."

And with that, the hologram fizzled out.

Mozzyfuzzy watched as the two friends walked away, talking about how coco had got here. Then he snuck out from his where he was hiding, and crept towards the prison cells.

There was only one guard on duty, who had his neck quickly broken, Nikev had only planned about people getting out, not trying to get in. He then accesed the database to see where Vera was being held...

"Cell block 25, room 101" he muttered.

Taking the deceased guards card key (or whatever opens prison cells in the 41st millenium) he began to make his way to Vera's cell.

As he reached his objective, Mozzyfuzzy suddenly became aware that he'd just discovered where the rest of the guards were. He sneaked a quick glimpse around the corner, and what he saw horrified him. Vera's insidious whispers had sent them crazy, as half of them were thrusting the walls and the others were meandering about. Realising that they posed no threat to him, Mozzyfuzzy strode towards the cell door and slid the card key threw the release mechanism.

The door slid open, and inside huddled in the corner lay Veera who looked up.

Upon seeing Mozzyfuzzy he charged straight into him and rammed him into the wall while yelling "Loyalist Scum", Mozzyfuzzy picked himself up off the floor grabbed Veera as he turned to run and said,

"I'm here to rescue you warmaster, and anyway the exit is this way" poining towards the route in which he had come from. "Oh and be quite".

Mozyfuzzy eventually led Veera back to the escort carrier showed Veera to a hidden panel and told him to wait.
He then snuck back outside and placed a dataslate on top of a crate of supplies and left a note on top which read,

"To Nikev"

And with that he told the crew to set off back to whence they came.

"Commissar, the escort craft has just taken off and is already in low orbit." An engineer said to Nikev.

"How is that possible?" coc0 said before Nikev could respond "I was given full command over that cruiser. It could only take off when i gave them orders."

Suddenly an alarm sounded throughout the entire fortress sector and on every corner of the street a red alarm light buzzed. Shortly after this the fortress it's emergency intercom sprung to life and a computer-generated voice could be heard: "Warning! Warning! Rebellious uprising in the prison blocks. Some cells have been breached! All troops mobilize. Repeat! All troops mobilize! Warning! Warning!"

Immediately everywhere people could be seen taking guns from their holsters and advancing towards the prison blocks. Coc0 grasped his thunderhammer and jump packed (yes, he has been wearing one all the time) over all the advancing troops and made his way to the prison blocks.

Lord maverick sat laughing in his chair.

"My Lord, Shas'O Vera has been rescued successfully."

Maverick's elite strategic mind had paid off once again. His plans, his cunning, and his wit had foiled nikev once more. Maverick considered it almost toying with the Commissar, before he managed to deliver what the Tau called "Mont'ka", or the Killing Blow.

An Officer burst in, his armour blackened with damage and marked with wear.

"Lord Maverick, I have grave news. Farseer Munch has died. Slain in battle by the loyalist forces."

Lord Maverick sat, slumped in his chair, the tears clearly dropping from his face.

"Colonel, bring me Commissar Ludd. Immediately."

Munch was dead? His brother at the Schola Thrustenium?

Maverick swore in that instant, that Nikev would die not at his hands, as he had previously made a pact to, but that Nikev would die such a slow, and prolonged suffering, that he'd wish he was being interrogated by the Thrustquisition, and not left to face his fate.

"Bring me my shuttle."

"Sir, would you like me to ready a pilot?"

"No, Corporal. I must do this alone."

At the edge of the Warp, a strange sound could be heard drifting towards the system. All the entities heard the strange cacophony and were intrigued.
Except Slaanesh. It cringed at the noise it had once thought extinct in this universe. Three gates ripped open and one force came through.
It was amazing to behold.

At the helm of the Battle Barge 'Valir's Fury' the Chieftain they called the Fallen Wolfborn watched and laughed. The Sons of Steel had
found another glorious battle, and he would be at the front. He raised his index and pinkie fingered glove in salute.
"Pilot, take us in. For the North Wolf and the glory of its METAL!"

In the command centre of 'Wulfen's Vengeance' Commissar Hjalmar Solkan knelt in prayer with the tribals and hiver soldiers around. The 1st Lupran Nordic had followed their
paragons through the Warp. They were now restless. Warriors who needed two things. A fight and a bottle of amasec. They were fresh out of amasec. As the priest stood
and finished, he stood up and turned towards them. "Sons of the North Wolf, give me victory and I'll take you on myself!" The room erupted in an ear splitting roar.

Aboard the cannibalized ships of Vaulkara Prima, Farseer Thaluia Arhain smiled widely at the assembling troops below her. Guardians, Dire Avengers, Howling Banshees. The Webway was woefully weak here. No matter though, the Tau would fix that. Shas'O Vilad approached in his X26 Battlesuit and signed to her that the Orcas and Falcons were almost ready. She nodded, and spoke through the intercom. "Warriors of Isha and T'au, kick some ass out there for me, would you?"

Lord Maverick wet himself laughing.

"More space mutts? Jeez, how many furries are there out there - can't you play a real force?"

He turned to his assembled general staff.

"Like, seriously, it's starting to get annoying. Yeah, so i'm leaving now to go pursue my real aims, so like... can you hold this world for me, while I head off to pwn some noobs?"

His deputy, Colonel-General Crenshaw stepped forwards.

"Sir, we shall not falter. Bring me back some red bull and beff jerky, will ya?"

"Absolutely, General. Toodles!"

And with that, Lord Maverick stepped into the waiting thunderbolt fighter (which had been refitted for interstellar warp travel, because he's a thruster, and we're cool like that), and took off, heading for a familiar set of co-ordinates.

Moments later, he emerged from the warp at his destination, and landed at McEmperors.

Ludd ran down the hill, screaming at the heathens, his men were once again thrusting hard against the tight defensive lines of the non-believers. He fired of his auto-pistol and suddenly a rushing sound filled his ears as the pressure levels changed. He glanced to his left to see one of his unit's psykers conjuring mighty strands of thrusting lightning around him. Ludd smiled, today was a good day to live...

Maverick returned to his jet, which was parked up outside McEmperors.

He sat in the seat, buckled himself in, and typed in a new set of co-ordinates.

The fighter took off, engaged it's warp-drive, and settled down into warp cruise. Maverick opened the take-away bag, and began to eat his Double Cheeseburger.

"Well Thaluia, its good to see ya again! I was not expecting you bunch of misfits to appear in the middle of this gakhole."
The Fallen Wolfborn grinned at the red headed Eldar on his plasma screen.

"Not so bad yourself caveman. How is the glorious Chieftain of the Sixth Company doing today?" she retorted with just a little
sarcasm. "Anyway, to business! The motherfething gakkers with all the Slaaneshi thrusting, eh? Bit weirder than Vaulkara Prima
don't you think?"

"Never liked purple anyway. Lets blast them with a little metal storm and grab a few drinks. You still with the Malleus bounty hunter?
It would be weird to see the gang back together. Congrats on getting Farseer anyway. See you on the flip side!"

"Not this again..." she stared out the window and saw a Iron Shield fighter screen scramble from the Battle Barge and the streaks of drop pods smash into the atmosphere.

Inside his drop pod he sat, rocking his head up and down in time to the souds of the Warped Metal sound.

Commisar Wolfie finally comes too. "Where the feth am I?"

Coc0 charged into the small group of heretics at the prison blocks and slammed his thunderhammer to the ground. The heretics closest to him were pulverized and the others around it were knocked back by the sheer force.

Soon there was but one of the heretics left: their leader. It was a high-ranking Tau fire caste member that had fallen to the thrusting ways.

Coc0 grabbed the tau by the throat and held him up 2 feet above the ground, looked him in the eye and said: "Your treachery shall be remembered by this entire world. Now, taste what the vengeance of the emperor feels like!"
And with that, he crushed the tau's throat and left him on the ground to suffocate. As he walked away he turned around once and flipped the pathetic warrior off. Then he went back to Nikev.

Lord Maverick exited warp space, above a world. He engaged his stealth cloaker, and travelled towards the planet's surface.

Landing on a pad on the world, where it was raining, he stepped out of his fighter, and walked into the building. No security.

Maverick strode down the corridors, aware that were anyone to see him, they would spot him instantly. He had nothing to fear. For he was in the heart of the beast, and he feared no evil. Lord Maverick was a man who had nothing to lose, nothing to gain, and was therefore, a very capable and dangerous entity.

Maverick turned the corner. There are three corridors marked "Main Chamber", "Prison Network" and "Barracks". Turning towards "Main Chamber", he walked with a brisker pace.

Ok Nikev) suddenly 20 great black ships appeared above the Planet every sensor screamed at its operator throughout the entire system and got louder as 4 Eldar void dragons jumped out of warp space. " This is Inquisitor lord TGN (the glass ninja ) prepare to die heretic scum then thousands of Adeptus sororitas began dropping to the planet with pentient engines and GK and the inquisitor himself right onto commissar cadet ludd's position.

Ludd grunted as he shoved his power sword through the low quality armour of a heathen trooper. He smiled as the trooper spamed then fell still. He removed his sword and took a moment to look to the skies, "Feth it." he shouted as the drop pods of the inquisition filled the sky with trails of fire.
"Get into cover, get those tread fethers to a decent field of fire and some armour support would be welcome just about now." Ludd calmly ordered into the micro-bead. He looked to the ridge as the quad reverbarations of his hydras opened up on the planetary landing force, they would not give over their position as easily as the inquisition would like to think...

Many drop pods were lost but even more got through and where they landed they used no brakes just thrusting heretics sororitas spilled out and opened fire on the enemy and through it all strode inquisitor tgn smiting enemy's with his power sword and cleansing them with holy flame from his hand flamer. As he moved through the enemy position he spotted ludd and moved towards him swinging his sword all the way.

The Fallen Wolfborn's pod smashed into the dirt. He booted the door openand stepped out, drawing his power axe; 'Rock Of Ages'.
A group of thrusting Guardsmen came at him, cazed looks in their eyes. He snarled and swung his mighty weapon. Six heads fell into the dust.
"DECAPITATION!!!" A single rang out across the LZ as the Sons of Steel descended en masse for the highest concentrations of troops.
Chaplains were praying and Librarians blessing with the troops. It was truly a glorious sight to behold.

Lord Maverick was pressed against a large, marbled pillar. Ahead of him, up a small flight of stairs, were two guards, dressed in white flowing robes, and red armour. Armed with staffs, by the looks of things, they were guarding a door, a large door, White, with black marbled patterns through it, it had golden gilted handles, and was hinged as a double door.

Maverick made his plan. Striding out of his position, towards the doors, he walked up to the guards. The right guard stepped forwards to block his advance, and asked for his identification. Maverick reached into his pocket, but instead of papers, he drew his C'Tan Phase Sword, and rammed it through the guard. Pulling it clear of his body, he swiftly turned, and sliced the head clean from the shoulders of the second guard. Silent, yet effective.

Lord Maverick smiled. He still had it in him, after all these years.

Ludd screamed at the Inquisition forces as his men were slowly forced back, step after step. They would give them all they had or die trying Ludd thought. Ludd pulled out his auto-pistol and speared off some shots into the heathens, the recoil of the gun comforting in the madness. Then, as the waves of inquisition troops receeded to regroup, Ludd caught a glance of TGN surrounded by his retinue.

Lord Maverick re-sheathed his sword, and checked his kit. He was ready. He stepped forwards, pushed the doors open, and....

"Well, fuuuuck me sideways."

A massive chamber, perhaps six-hundred feet high, with a series of seating positions on raised platforms from a central platform, raised above their positions.

Maverick found himself on a walkway, connected to the central node, which the walkways to the smaller seats connected to, arranged in a semi-circle on the far side of the central node from the door. He was perhaps, a hundred feet up, and the room was lined with gilt and marbled features.

On the platforms were twelve figures. Some of them Tau, some of them Human, some of them from other races and creeds.

Seated in the centre was Shas'O Vera, shackled and bound, trapped in the chair.

And then he saw him, Commissar Nikev. Seated in the eleventh seat.

All the figures were looking at him now, he had clearly been seen.

"Well, gentlemen. I guess I had better explain myself."

Commissar Nikev furiously rose from his seat. "Lord Maverick? How did you get in?"

"Well, Commissar, perhaps you ought to look into better security."

"Damn you to hell, Heretic!"

"And likewise, you, Commissar. You know why I am here, and I have come alone."

"Well, Warmaster, I accept your challenge. But how do you plan to escape the facility if you succeed?"

"We'll focus on that afterwards."

And with that, Maverick drew his Phase Sword. It was time.

The 1st and 2nd Lupran Nordic landed softly behind the enemy bunker artillery line. Valkyries were useless for stealth, they simply parachuted in.
Commissar Solkan surveyed the massing of the troops from his higher level, and organized the regiments into the there respective battle groups,
codenamed 'Thor', 'Tyr' and 'Frey'. The scout party advanced with him as they crested the ridge, crawling toward the sounds of battle. The sight
was horrific, and slightly bizarre. Imperial Guard were thrusting their way backwards,firing as the forces of the Inquisition cornered them. Apparently
the Battle Sisters did not appreciate the way the heretics were conducting themselves, as they were specifically aiming for the pelvic area.

The fireline was formed along the ridge, facing into the maelstrom of flame and burning guardsmen. Solkan stood on the ridge and observed the enemy
commander wearing the stripes of a cadet commissar. He laughed a little. He drew his power axe and pointed towards the heretic line.
"Men of Lupra Nord, ready the line! On my word unleash Surt." There was a cocking of long las handles along the line as two hundred weapons were
loaded. "FIRE!"

Ludd growled into his vox "Feth you high command, I NEED SUPPORT!" His unit was pinned in the low gulley with TGN's inquisitorial forces and wolfborn's men of Lupra Nord on either side... Suddenly a great deep droning noise filled the air, Ludd's support had arrived. The manta was huge in it's aspect and completely covered the gulley in shade. The air was filled with the scent of ozone as the railguns and ionguns discharged their deadly payload and from the cargo bay, gunships, Devilfish APCs and battle-suits swept down in their elegant manner.

Solkan saw the Manta. His men saw the Manta. They cheered and began firing rockets at it. Solkan grinned and said three small words.
"For the EMPEROR!" There were now just under three thousand men standing behind him, ready for the charge. He shouted across to his
adjutant and the regimental musicians. "Start the pipes lads. 1st 2nd and 3rd prepare to advance!" The haunting sounds of uillean
pipes began to sound out across the valley, rising above the din of the Tau weapons. "Forward like the wolves of Ulrik!"

Ingore this.

Colonel General Crenshaw sat in Maverick's command chair.

"Commissar Ludd, this is High Command. You have our attentions at this time. Prepare for inbound thunderbolt strike at this time, over."

Ludd shuddered under the almighty recoil and splash back heat frim the flamer he had picked up from one of his dead flamethrower armed trooper. He looked to the skies, at last high command had come to his aid, the manta was gone but now, the thruster navy's pretigious thunderbolt fighters and marauder bombers filled the sky. Their engines screamed as they rained death down on the heathens.

Death from the skies, they couldn't manage. "TAKE COVER!" shouted Solkan as he dived into the indents on the other side of the ridge. Over three thousand men and women leapt into the tunnels, with acceptable casualties. They needed flak cover now. Solkan called up the nearest vox operator, a burly man by the name of Juyn. He sent out a distress call in code to all accepted Imperial channels.
"Foxhole this is Ferret we need flak cover in the vicinity now. Under heavy air bombardment requesting assistance. Other loyalist forces are in the valley over. TGN do what you can but get into cover dammit!"
Another message went across all space comms channels.
"This is Commissar Hjalmar Solkan of the Lupran Nordic regiment of the Imperial Guard. All listening up there we need support repeat we need support on ground and aerial level. All aid would be highly appreciated. I know your out there VPF, we need support."

Aboard the capital ship Vaulkaran Primary, the message was received by the alien coalition and Vilad laughed at the last bit. "Solkan needs a hand down there? We'll give him one. Launch all fighters both Eldar and Tau. Thaluia won't mind. Also send a beacon to the Wolfborn, he'll want in on this."

He only hoped that the Farseer really wouldn't mind, otherwise he was in for a world of hurt.

"All fighters launch and give me air support" TGN yelled into his vox as one of his initiates was thrown back by a las bolt " pentient engines and sister rapentia to the fore seraphim to the sky sisters cover us CHARGE!!!!" and his forces did they waded into the heretic forces killing and burning and slashing. and through the chaos TGN saw ludd and charged towards him ready to kill.

"this is thunderbolt two-three, preparing to strafe the formation, over."

Captain Begonds saw a figure dead ahead, and he took aim. firing with all his autocannons, he strafed the cloaked figure with his firepower, then dropped his wing clusterbombs on him.

And in that moment, The Glass Ninja, noble inquisitor and defender of loyalism, fell in battle, his soul sucked into the warp.

The Wolfborn felt the death of a loved Inquisitor. Wait was that even possible? Apparently so, cause he got more than a little pissed off.
The Sons of Steel sat in silence for a moment out of respect. Then they cheered and hollered to the skies. He had fallen in battle and was
even now being carried by the Valkyria to the icy shores of Fenris. Emperor rest his brave memory. They advanced up the ridge, over 150
marines of the sixth company, many armed with heavy weapons. They crouched down and waited. Then the beacon lit up on the Wolfborn's
locator. Lupran Nordic troops taking cover in the caverns beneath them. Thank the Allfather for that. They waited.

Then the sky was sent ablaze by thousands of tiny star points. Over four dozen fighter squadrons and twenty coalition landers. The
Vaulkarans had arrived. A rain of ion, shrapnel and las rounds smashed into the enemy fighter squadrons from above. The Metal Storm
would soon begin. The uillean pipes were still playiing under the hill.

Colonel General Crenshaw sat in his command suite.

"Fire the deathstrike missile batteries."

"Sir, ballistic contacts closing over the surface at approximately 200 knots ETA 2 minutes. They'll wipe us out sir." The vox carrier was so calm when he said that.

Farseer Arhain saw this event and screamed. "No! I forbid it!" She reached down to the valley with her mind and located the webway gates under the mountains.
She activated the shielding technology, covering the whole gulley in a grey sheet of energy. They were safe. Then she collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

Shas'O Vilad boarded the first Manta in sight and descended in his X26 Battlesuit. "Into the belly of the beast ... and out of the daemon's ass." he muttered to himself.

The deathstrike missiles pounded on the outside of the shield. The first few pounded off the psychic barrier, then the shield could take no more of the plasma warheads, and gave in. A lone deathstrike missile plunged into the massed ranks below.

"Frak!" The plasma swept across the ridge, killing a few dozen marines. The Guardsmen under the hill felt the impact and were flattened, but the strength of
the rock above prevented too much damage from the troops below. The Wolfborn hit the dirt, and swiftly fell unconscious. Shas'O Vilad watched this from the Manta
and was not best pleased. He contacted the fleet in orbit and gave them the suspected coordinates of General Crenshaws location. Then he spoke four small
dangerous words. "Give them a volley."

but from the blast crater rose TGN he had protected himself from harm using a shield much like the farseers but smaller " you FRAkhead pilots better get down here and help or ill turn you into admech servitors specialized in rectal examination"he shouted into his vox . He turned and surveyed the battle field it was good for him bad for ludd. "by the way anyone who felt me die it was just a psychic discharge"he said to his allies over the vox. (btw can i switch to my second leader if this one dies? ) He looked around close to himself but he was alone in a 5 meter crater he spotted a man trying to pelvic thrust " discharge must have liquefied his torso" he then ran back into the fight like an enraged titan.

"Sir the highest concentrations of thruster troops are gathered in that valley. Three loyalist armies are also still fighting there. What should we do?"
Shas'O Vilad surveyed the life signs on the field and grinned, showing teeth. "Give them a directed volley, precision orbital bombardment. Now target.
Ready and ... OPEN FIRE!" A shower of warheads plunged into the thruster positions destroying dozens of heretics. "Vaulkaran Primary open fire on all traitor ships now.
Cleanse them for Khaine and the Greater Good! Fire all batteries and give us scanner cover. I don't want anything attacking those troops on the ridge, got that?"

"ship Emperors dawn do you see the tau commander well teleport the Grey knights onto his head he just blew some of my sister rapentia to bits " said TGN into his ground to fleet vox channel.

"Issue an apology to TGN and raise void shields. Teleporters inbound, I can feel it." Farseer Arhain shouted to Vilad, waking quickly. "I'll redirect them to were the fighting is thickest. There they'll do some damage at least to the heretics."

Shas'O Vilad shuddered. That witch woman still scared the crap out of him.

" good job she did that " TGN thought to himself "their justicar was in terminator armor". he chopped through a cluster of of traitor guardsmen " send in the callidus and vidicare Get them to kill ludd " and fire at the enemy command base everything you've got everything " these were the orders given to the inquisitorial fleet "oh except the Exterminatus stuff save that for later"

Wolfborn opened his eyes and saw the bodies of dead battle brothers surrounding him. Nearly a quarter of the sixth company now lay wounded or dead.
Emperor save him. He'd been so damn foolish! He turned to the signaller assigned to them. He was no more than a bloody smear on the ground. Thank
the God Emperor for artificier armour. He rose to his feet and grabbed the voxcaster, which was thankfully still intact. Wearily he spoke to space level comms,
"To whoever pulled that stunt, you have my eternal gratitude. I know you better Arhain. Thank you." He dropped the vox and turned to his surviving brothers.
Raising the Rock of Ages to the sky, he roared; the Fenrisian geneseed awakening something animal inside him. The others roared back at him.
"My brothers advance to glory. For the Emperor, for vengeance and for METAL! CHARGE!!!" They sprinted over the ridge towards the battle line, the Inquisition forces
turning and cheering as they saw the wave of blade wielding Astartes coming towards them. The uillean pipes still played under the hill.

Ludd had only a few men left, they formed up a tight formation around him, tau and guardsmen alike. His small force was giving it everything they had but it was going to end soon.
Ludd activated the vox-speaker to adress his men one last time...
"Men of the thrust, our time has come. We have all struggled through many hardships and I can think of no force I would rather stand with at the end of all things. Remember the oath you took, the day you joined our cause. Hold that great day in your minds, remember our Lord and Master Vera, remember the great sacrifices he has made for you and me so that we might live, free of oppression. Let us show these heathens one last time how a true thruster fights and dies for his cause."
Ludd wiped the grime from his face, if this was the end, he wanted to be ready for it. He hoisted up his finely crafted sabre, it's elegant thrusting tip shining in the smoky air. He shoved a new clip into his auto-pistol, he was ready.
"Onwards men of the Thrust!"

The pipes stopped, and all that could be heard across the field was the sound of boots as they hit the ground. The cheers and battle cies of men and alien alike

so primitive and glorious. Solkan's men rose fom the tunnels and charged down after their paragons and leaders the Sons of Steel. Solkan himself had drawn his axe and

ran with the rest of his men. All across the valley the sound of pipes played, but the musicians were all dead. Then the two sides met, and hell was not the word.

TGN saw ludd charge and quickly ran at the commisar." i commend you cadet for your bravery. if you had not been corrupted you could have been great even as great as yarrick or gaunt but you were so you must die " and with that he began to jab and parry with his sword fighting ludd to the finish. He admired the commisars skill as a swordsman.

IC: A lone battle barge emerged from warp space the ship was badly damaged it had just been overtaken by the blood champions a war-band dedicated to the blood god
A bloodied figure strode impatiently around the control room his terminator Armour bloodied from the battle that took this ship the armor bore many scars of battle,bullet holes,sears,burns & a mark of khorne but the power armor still operated at acceptable efficiency despite its extremely rugged appearance
Craxas was his name a true follower of khorne mindless in battle he kills his allies as much as he kills enemies he also had a habit of being way over equiped he been called a viscous hoarder due the fact that he brutally slaughters anyone trying to take his loot he wielded a unque chain-axe dubbed the "disembowler" and a stolen master crafted bolter that he ripped from the could dead hands of the captain of this ship.

Craxas finally left the room and made his way to the armory where over 300 chaos marines were looting the bodies of fallen loyalists & then ejecting them.
There was another figure clad in chaos terminator a relatively calm person for a khorne worshiper Craxas believed he was a worshiper of chaos undivided or something.

"Craxas...... i thought i told to stay in the control room........why are you here?" Craxas spat in his helmet "I cannot wait any longer i must spill blood!!!!!!! i grow tired of this.....this.....WAITING!!!" Craxas roared
"You know very well that we are heading to a planet with possible slaanesh worshippers i cannot risk you going into a blood rage so soon there will be more loot & slaughter than you can possibly imagine....now sleep" Craxas started to feel disey & then a moment later collapsed on the ground snoring like a baby

The battle was going on all around Ludd, however from his perspective, there was nothing around him, he was so focussed on the elegant strokes that TGN was attacking him with and more importantly, his parrying of said strokes. Ludd was resigned to it, there wasn't any way out of this unless a miracle happened at some point in the next 5 minutes.

Captain coc0 was also in a chair on the far left of the room, next to a human nobleman. He stood up and lept with his jump pack towards Maverick.

"You'll have to get through me first heretic!" Coc0 shouted mere moments before impact.

OOC - I'm kinda busy here. About to engage in an epic duel with Maverick you know. So ludd, could you order someone to send scorpionoy one of your copies of the codex dictionatus? His grammar sucks TBH.

As coc0 hit the ground the marble cracked below his feet and maverick was thrown back like a ragdoll. After a few seconds maverick got up again. There they stood, looking eachother in the eye. Suddenly they both charged shouting their own battlecries.

One of the humans beholding this from his seat said to the person next to him: ""10 bucks on maverick."

Sadly what he said would be true. As they were about to make contact maverick phased out (OOC - Yes, as of now maverick. You can phase in and out of the webway like a warp spider.). Coc0 was dazzled and looked around. Maverick then reappeared behind him and put the phase sword in coc0's stomach.

The commander fell to his knees. his eyes turning back. And as he fell to the ground he said: "By the emperor's toilet paper. I have failed."

There the captain lay, broken.

There was fightign all aroudn grambo......no body could decide what pie they wanted!It pissed him off so much that he killed everyone with his pinkey.

Soon TGN's efforts began to show. small cuts and slashes were appearing all over ludds arms. soon his enemy would tire and then he would strike. He knew the enemy artillery in the area had been silenced he knew the enemy command base was in ruins he knew he would win.

Ludd knew when he was beat, the final sweeping attack from TGN's powersword knocking the sabre out of Ludd's hand. Ludd rolled his shoulders and looked TGN in the eye.

TGN gave Ludd an odd look, his head cocked to one side. He shrugged and raised his power sword about to bring it down in a fell swoop, it never reached Ludd's neck. The armed vortex grenade in Ludd's greatcoat had exploded, sucking both of them in...

TGN awoke. He was in the middle of a field of vibrant red flowers. he smelt the bitter sweet scent of Frenzon a combat drug. ''there's only one planet in this sector that a vortex grenade could have transported me to that produces Frenzon. Caligula IV'' He thought to himself. By his compass reading he was on the western continent. ''I'm sure the main city is close to here'' whispered his armors machine spirit (it is a great piece of the most technological armor possessed by the Inquisition he is a lord after all ). So drawing up a map of Caligula IV he set off for its capital.

Craxas groaned as his vision returned to him, the calm terminator lord known as Moros turned around to see Craxas awakening from his slumber & smiled under his helmet.
Craxas noted that he was still in the armory of the ship, some of his war-band having donned loyalist power armor for some unknown purpose. Moros strode towards his fellow chaos lord "ah...finally you are awake Craxas i was beginning to wonder if i should kill you and take what we came for myself...but i still need your help in getting there."

"Watch your tongue around or i will tear it out and why is my war-band donning loyalist power armor!!?" Craxas Spat "Ah but this is all part of my plan you see...you don't expect to make planet fall without being shredded to ribbons by loyalists or to be raped by those slaanesh worshiping dogs do you?...of course not that is why we will pose as a loyalist chapter...do some.....errands for the loyalists...and then when the opportunity reveals itself we will take what we came for and slaughter as much slaaneshe dogs as we can when we get out of here." Craxas eye was twitching for he could not believe what he heard "Are you f*cking serious!? there is no way you going to use my war-band to sneak on the planet!!" Craxas spat.

"Oh but i can and i will...i could easily tear you limb from limb...but i am being generous here you make planet fall...follow my instructions you will achieve a virtually...immortal status" Moros smiled
Craxas looked at him with curiosity "what do you mean?" "As we discussed before you will get alot of loot some of that loot are ancient chaos artifacts capable of granting immortality at a small price of the death of 5 billion people"

Lord Maverick ducked Coc0's leap. Drawing his sword, he thrust it clean through the power cables connecting the pack to Coc0's power supply. The pack fizzled out, and coc0 hit the floor with a thump, rolling over the edge. His weapons rolled off the platform, and he was left, barely holding onto the platform.

Maverick walked calmly over.

"I'd leave you to die, but I am not that man."

Grambo an his men were slashing the the jungles,they came apoun a squad of anti pelvic fources,we pelvic thrusted them to death and moved on with our mission.....

OOC- I have been planning this for so long...
IC- All around Ludd was darkness and silence. He did not know how long he spent there but there was a feeling of a malignant presence in the looming void. Soon, sporadic flashes of dim red light began to show in the dark. Suddenly Ludd felt pain like he had never experienced, even on the battlefield, it felt like a drill was boring into his skull. Then, as the red flashes became vaguely aware of huge towers of bronze fixed into cold damp walls, the red lightning was flashing between the towers and Ludd found himself suspended in the air between these huge constructs...
Over time, the pain in Ludd's head dulled, however the lightning which had become a lot more frequent over time began to hit Ludd himself. Rather than the pain and shock he had expected, the lightning felt energizing and powerful in Ludd's veins. Then, the lightning stopped and everything fell dark, then Ludd fell into a stupor, not to awake for a good long time.

TGN finially reached hive primus on three days after he arrived on Caligula IV he immediately demanded to see the Governor and Requisitioned a battle ship and its crew and immediately set off for the warzone but on his way there he felt strange psychic readings coming from a planet, a forge world and changed course to go there instead.

Coc0 slowly woke up.....

His eyes were still closed, but he could hear silent voices in the distance. He tried to move his left arm, but it was restrained: it wouldn't respond.

Then he opened his eyes. He could see vaguely in front of him. Everything was covered in a red glow and there were gauges At the edges of what he saw. Suddenly the voices became much clearer. A techmarine's voice said this:

"Hearing systems online. The commander should now be able to hear us. Life support is fully online. Captain coc0, can your hear us?"

(OOC - As ludd's becoming a psyker i think i might change a bit too. Time for dreadnought coc0!)

Lord Maverick stood on the platform.

"Commissar, You have seen that I am a reasonable man. I allowed your medicae personnel to take commander coc0 away, and I personally pulled him up from the drop."

Then he turned to the council.

"I cannot let you ordain what you seek from Shas'O Vera. Not for my faith, not for my personal desires, but for the safety of the world at large. The Thrusting Power he wields is wielded carefully, and it is balanced carefully, like a knifeblade. Were you to... upset that balance, the consequences would be so phenomenally astronomical, that your own tiny minds cannot ever possibly comprehend the sheer levels of devastation it would unleash. Moros smirked under his helm "I present to you your very own loyalist terminator armour.....thats right you'll be going planet side while i monitor thing up here it should be a simple task for your caliber.....and if you decide to be difficult well.....you cannot i have branded your skin with a rune while you were asleep....now you will don the armour....now."
Craxas could not control himself as he shed his chaos armour and donned the loyalist terminator armour "what have you done to me!?" Craxas roared as the armour interfaced with him filling his helmet with vital data & status of his well being.
"I have done nothing" Moros Chuckled "You still have most of your freedoms it would be shame to change that, now follow me"

Craxas & Moros as well as most of the war-band made their way to the hanger bay where a few undamaged drop pods & thunder-hawks ships still remained "Now Craxas before you go you must be made aware of a few things i have added to your armour...First & foremost i have added a few wards against nurgle i don't want you dying so soon...secondly i added sound dampeners so even the most noisiest slaneeshe marine will sound like a whisper in the dark...thirdly & most importanly i added millions of terabytes of random access codes,key-codes,passwords ,decryption codes into your hud you will need these codes for there will be many obstacles...do not fail me. now into the thunder-hawk you go for now you'll be going planet-side." Craxas watched as his war-band stated to shuffle in to the thunder-hawks & drop pods though there slightly more advanced than before the imperiums equipment was still pretty much the same. "Bye bye Craxas when you get to planet-side i'll contact via hehehahahahahahaha!.....ehem via comlink." Craxas watched as the door closed the thunder-hawk prepared for takeoff

The oldest council member turned and looked at Maverick and grinned a most menacing grin,"Too late boy". The council began chanting an odd chant. Growing louder and louder, Vera became trapped in a bright blue vortex with wind swirling him around slowly. "YOU BASTARDS!" Maverick shouted as he rushed to save his lord. The Guards of the Citadel rushed to stop him from attacking the council members.
"Council! What is this? You never told me you would do this!" Nikev shouted as the Chanting grew louder and louder. "Silence you fool!" one of the members shouted pointing a crippling finger in his direction. The life was literally being sucked from the bodies of the council members and their already old skin was beginning to age and slowly started to fall off their bones. Vera was being raised into closer and closer to the ceiling and began shrieking in pain, his body clearly being mutilated and his limbs horrifically growing larger.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?" Nikev shouted to the council trying to get a grasp on the situation. "We are summoning our true lord!" one of the members shouted "The true Raging Pelvic Lord HARDIFEROUS!"
Stunned, Nikev could do nothing but watch in horror as this new threat was summoned into reality. He lept up from his seat, "THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN!" he shouted as he rused toward the council members, unsheathing his powersword.

Nikev and Maverick were slashing the guards when their swords collided. Glaring at each other, the guards backed off. Great rage comming over both the commanders from old hatreds they began to duel. Parries, Feints, and lots of dirty moves, the battle raged as neither commander could lay a blow on each other. With a great swing, they locked blades. "Wait a second" Maverick said, panting from the duel. "Dammit, I already know what your going to say and yes, a temporary truce". With the quick truce, the duo set to hacking through the guards to the council members.

"IT IS DONE!" The Ethreal shouted. Vera was near the ceiling now, his body had been horribly mutilated. Bursting in an explosion of blood and gore, Vera was no more. In his place, the massive body of the Ragin Pelvic Lord Hardiferous rose, his body growing to the ceiling. "WE SERVE YOU MY LORD" The dying council members all said. With a musing smile, Hardiferous smashed them under his foot. Shocking everyone.

"HOLY -"
"gak!" Maverick and Nikev said together. Running for the door, they pushed past the guards who were now fighting each other, some of them not being immediately mind controlled by the Lord. As the duo ran through the corridors the building was shaking from the massive battle that raged all around. Nikev piped his Micro "ALL UNITS! ALL UNITS! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! NOW NOW! I'LL HIJACK A NEARBY VEHICLE AND RENDEZVOUS!"
"So Maverick" nikev said as they ran, "why didn't you fall to your knees and worship the thrusting god?" "I'm no fool, if he killed the council members who freed him, then he'll without a doubt kill me."

The two commanders said nothing the rest of the way out, having to stop and kill a few guards who had lost their minds. Arriving at the main doors, they had been blown wide open. All around, people were fighting, The Pelvic Lords influence was incredibly strong and had taken over half the planet.

"Well," said Nikev turning to look at Marverick while they caught their breath "What now?"

Lord Maverick turned to Nikev.

"Commissar, I have a twin-seater fighter plane, on docking pad six. This way."

The pair ran across the tarmac parking bay, and slid through the gap of two steel doors on the far side. Inside, was the entrance hallway Maverick had entered first. Maverick turned right, and ran through a doorway, right out to his waiting ship.

"Commissar, back seat. Helmet's under the seat, air pipe is on the right."

He threw himself onto the wing of the aircraft, rolling over the wing, as he stood up quickly, and dove into the cockpit, fastening himself in, and starting the engines before he had shut the canopy, or put his mask on. Nikev ducked the gout of flame from the startup, and clambered into the rear seat.

"Warmaster, I hope you know what you're doing..."

"So do I!", Maverick shouted back. That was the first time Nikev had referenced him by title since they had arrived on this world.

Slamming the canopy shut as the fighter began to turn around, the warmaster tightened his mask up.

"Ready?"

"As I'll ever be..." was the dry reply.

Maverick hit the thrust as far forward as it would go. The thunderbolt leapt into the sky, and into orbit. The city below was in chaos.

"Since you ask, Commissar, my loyalty was to the man who wielded the pelvic power. That man is now dead. His deputy, my brother, Farseer Munch, is now dead. I am the next in line to the command of the Thruster Forces."

He turned slightly in the seat, as much as he could towards Nikev.

"And we now both share a common enemy, it would seem."

Coc0's dreadnought had just been fully prepared when an explosive shockwave rocked the room. Alarm signals could be heard and the room was lit red.

Most of the non-astartes in the chamber started attacking eachother and Nikev's message could be heard on the intercom.

In his new dreadnought form coc0 tore himself loose from the restraints. Then he charged out of the room with only one thought: "I must get to Nikev!"

Maverick swore under his breath.

"Commissar. Commander Coc0 is still down there."

Nikev typed a few commands on the comms-panel he had, in the navigator's seat.

"I have instructed him to get aboard my personal ship. He can wirelessly command it to take off from there. It has no defenses, though, so we'll have to fly cover for it."

Gregersen looked upon the battlefield, littered with the dead and dying. TGN had disapeared along with Ludd, with the Thruster commander gone the battle was quickly won by the combined effort of Gregersen Space Wolves and the other commanders forces.

Raising his voice Gregersen roared to his wolves, "Sons of Russ we have won, this planet is ours. We must now go to Commisar Nikevs' aid and slay the traitor Warlord Maverick, prepare to move, we have the coordinates, that would pay for imprisoning "The Fang."

With this said Gregersens' forces moved to Nikeves location, not knowin anything that had transpired there. But soon they would find out, the wolves would be suprised by an enemy they could not possibly fathom.

Coc0 charged forward with all his bulk through half a dozen walls. Bashing aside many corrupted troops along the way.

After a few more walls he burst through one final wall and had a peculiar feeling. He looked to the left and saw Nikev and Maverick run through the hallway he had burst into and coming to a halt before him.

Both Nikev and Maverick looked at this dreadnought that had just burst through the wall in wonder. When Nikev said:

"Who are you?" After which Maverick unsheathed his sword, preparing for the worst.

"It... is... I, commissar. "Commander... coc0... at your... service." The dreadnought answered in its deep mechanical voice.

The dreadnought then grabbed maverick with his left dreadnought claw and held him before the sarcophagus.

IC: Craxas shook slightly at the g-force this thunderhawk produced,personally he did not like thunderhawks or the idea of flying through planetary atmospheres, 15 thunderhawks headed towards the surface none would fire the imperium would believe that that they are space marines coming to reinforce the battle & would not be suspicious of where they landed
Suddenly Craxas communicator came online although it he found it eventually it took him a while to find it it was not his left power-glove he slid the panel to the side to reveal the communicator screen .

Moroses face appeared on the screen "Craxas....*static*....you'll be landing on.......the*static*...side in fifteen minutes...*static*....once there you'll lead your brothers around the battle between the imperium & slaneeshe forces ...*static*....stop for no one imperial or definitely not slaneesh kill them if they get in your way....*static*....now the path you'll take is through many underground sewers that is probably crawling with monster or such to kill....you'll start off deep in the jungles of the planet along the way there will be many slaneeshe skulls to claim for the skull throne....over and out" with that final gesture the screen went black & Craxas stared around the ship the chaos marines were doing last minute tweaks & checks to their weapons.

At last Craxas thought as he felt the familiar feeling of landing on the ground the thunderhawks landed in an orderly fashion & his marines walk off the ramps as Craxas unfastened himself and walked he could the sounds of battle though they were far away he still would keep an eye out. "Alight you miserable scum the enemy stands in the way of my prize....we have donned the loyalist power armour so we may surprise & destroy as many of them as possible...but that is not our objective...you'll stay in line & not get carried away with...." "My lord!!!...someone or something is approaching" Craxas turned around to see maybe three dozen frightened guardsmen running through the bushes.

"boy .....are......we......glad *pant*...to see marines" one of the guardsmen said cheerfully as he came to the closest marine which he noticed was a terminator, he noticed the terminators weaponry how it had a evil look about it. "What the fu...." was all he could say before Craxas swiftly chopped off the guardsmen's head "Kill them all spare no one!!!" Craxas roared the terrified gaurdsmen tried to sprint back into the bushes but they were brought down by bolter fire the dying guards had there heads ripped off one by one and their skulls offered to khorne.

Craxas docorated his loyalist armour with the skin of the foolish guardsmen who dared to stand in front of him. "We move out now no rest no pause!!" Craxas roared and then marched onward his warband following closely behind

It isn't a fleet and ill try and sort my grammar and i thought this was Nikevs thread anyway and if people keep moaning about grammar and restricting things that any one of the commanders could have then i am leaving this thread.

IC: Craxas and his men marched through the muddy terrain avoiding the man firefight which seemed to have no end. Craxas suddenly stopped in a small clearing & signaled his men to also stop he had spotted something out his eye, then suddenly they popped out slaneeshe cultists were charging straight towards them Craxas smiled as he unsheathed his chain-axe and swung decapitating the foolish cultists head his warband open fire to wave upon wave of slaneeshe cultists when they got too close his war-band pulled out their melee weapons & started hacking at their hated enemy.

It was a massacre as the cultists were no match for the heavy armed & armored marines they were blindly charging. A short while later the cultists lay dead or dying "there must of been five hundred of them" Craxas thought to himself he had a good service to khorne. "My lord!!!!" One of his marines shouted "What is it worm?" Craxas answered as he strolled towards the marine who seemed to have some sort of map looted from the cultists body.

"look here my lord this map shows us various camp sites of slaneeshe cults fighting the imperials, these people are probably reserve cannon fodder or something... anyway if you look here there seems to be an entrance into the sewers"
Craxas looked as warband "Men we march towards the sewer entrance then we will see where we need to go from there,there are a few slaneeshe camps along the way so their will be battle aplenty.....now march!!!"
with that the khorne warband resumed their march towards the sewer.

As the thunderhawk which had been sent to pick up Coc0 from the cruiser descended. The crimson fists down below were preparing to welcome their captain. On the planet Crimson fist forces were taken under command of captain Ladunov of the tenth company. Even though it seemed that the fists had done nothing while Coc0 was on the mysterious fortress world. They had secretly performed small operations to confuse and disband the thruster chain of command while Maverick hadn't been there to hold them together.

The Thunderhawk's landing gear softly touched the ground as it arrived at the camp. The craft was decorated with golden designs on the wings and cockpit areas.

Steam came out of the sides of the main hatch as it slowly slid open. The crimson fist forces ,standing as organized as they could despite their losses, were surprised to see a small red bar appear in the darkness of the troop compartment. It slowly came closer until eventually the silhouette of a dreadnought became visible.

Out stepped a dreadnought with Coc0 inscribed on the sarcophagus. The troops were surprised; they had expected for their commander to come out in his normal form.

Coc0 gazed upon his men through his HUD. He then put his voice generators as loud as he could get them and spoke, now with better skill at talking through it:

"I have returned, my men! But in a new, more powerful form. I shall still lead you in this dark hour. Though some things i will not be able to do anymore like this. For that i assign captain Ladunov as my permanent second in command during this campaign"

(OOC - i still cry inside, beholding scorpionovs grammar. I think we should start ignoring posts with horrible grammar, i haven't ever come to read an entire post of his, but stopped reading at the second line.)

Tristan was one of the crew members on TGN's private ship, at this moment in time, Tristan was running a scan of nearby space and attempting decipher some of the psychic signals emanating from the mysterious forge world. Sudenly a fluctuation appeared on the readout, with red lightning flickering over the scanner. This was odd, the cruiser had state of the art equipment as per TGN's requirements, such a malfunction was unheard of. "Just my luck gak it." Tristan muttered, then, the scanner picked up extreme temperature fluctuation, on the ship itself. (get ready for an obscure internet reference kids!) "HOLY FETH ON A FETHING SANDWICH!" Tristan shouted, the other scanner operators ran over. The scanner was still covered in red lightning and the hold area was at -400 degrees. Then, slowly, writing made itself visible across grainy screen.

TGN felt the psychic fluctuations all around the ship. "you do not scare me heretic i shall use your skull as a cup after a few modifications of course" .This he transmitted with his mind. He looked over to his daughter Midena. "Do you feel it too my sweet". "Yes father i do" she replied then both there eyes began to glow with blue energy. They were ready for psychic battle.

Ludd looked around him, his psychic warp transport had been almost perfectly on target, although it appeared that he was in the hold of the ship. The obligitory temperature decrease caused by such travel did not affect Ludd's newly enhanced figure at all, however his greatcoat was slightly stiff with the cold, and frost could be seen on the fabric. He raised his fingers to his temples, sending a message to those above, he was here and their end was nigh. He pulled out his finely crafted plasma pistol, a gift from whoever had granted him these great powers, he ran his finger down the cold, engraved metal, red lightning glancing onto the tactile surface, Ludd smiled. He replaced the pistol to it's holder, then in a brisk movement, raised his hand to the adamantium reinforced door. Red lightning flew in jagged lines to the door, flinging it outwards as a toddler might to a discarded toy. Ludd was certain of one thing, when he met TGN again, the inquisitor would not win so easily as before...

TGN located the source of the fluctuations, they were in the small cargo hold. "Captain Rainfelt lock down the starboard cargo bay apart from the main corridor i will deal with the intruder myself" he said to the captain " Midena and 1st storm trooper squad with me". With his daughter and stormtroopers he made his way to the cargo bay and what he found there filled him with rage. "Ludd" Ludd stood there red lightning dripping from his fingers elegant plasma pistol clutched in his hand. At the sight of him the stormtroopers went mad and due to their training shot themselves. TGN fired a shot from his inferno pistol catching ludd on the right leg but it merely scorched him so TGN's mouth dropped open and out shot a beam of psychic light hitting ludd square in the chest and throwing him back.

Above the Great planet that war was being waged upon, the warp began to ripple and pop. On high in the sky a form was being put into manifestation. It was a massive tunnel-like form that would straighten and become limp. It seemed as though it was, thrusting. At the peak of the tunnel, an explosion of white light blasted from it and threw the ship Flown by Maverick out, into the world's atmosphere.

Directly behind the ship, came a form so horrific that it would want to make the dead commit suicide. Clawing its way out of the Tunnel, Raging Pelvic Lord Hardiferous Launched out of the tunnel with a load of ships behind him.


Smashing onto the ground, Lord Hardiferous look out across the horizon to watch Maverick's ship crash a distance away. He looked to his fleet and simply muttered "They are mine, Kill all others". With their lords orders the ships began assaulting the planet, hunting any and all living creatures that wasn't under their lords command.

The Wolfborn saw the stars shooting across the skies towards the valley. These were not stars, he knew that, but they did look like it.
Then he felt something dark emerge in the skies above. Something darker than heresy, if that could be believed. Chaos.
"Commissar Solkan, get your troops underground into the hills! Radio the Vaulkarans and tell them to finish landing their troops." He
turned and saw the Chaplain-Slayer Kolov pulp another of the fleeing heretics. "Kolov! Gather the troops at the entrance to the caverns.
There's enemy forces incoming! Traitors and Warpspawn!" He turned and howled his defiance to the sky, several Marines joining him.

Ludd reeled back from the psychic attack, it was powerful, but nothing he couldn't deal with... This was the problem with so called 'witch hunters', they were completely unable to gauge the nature of their foe. Their naiveity would cost them dear he thought, Ludd feigned a collapse, falling to the ground and acting weak when truly he was strong. Just as the stormtroopers cocked their hellguns, Ludd sent a full blast of red lightning down his arms and onto the cold floor. The strange magyks ran along the surface of the metal at blistering speeds, meeting the troopers ankles and wrapping around the mens legs. Then the lines of red light pushed the men into the air before contorting them, bones popped, blood and spinal fluid dripped from the grotesqueries like dew from a petal. Then, seconds later it was over and the mangled figures fell to the ground, Ludd stood to face his opponent.

Coc0 was in council with captain Ladunov, chief librarian Argiban and his most trusted sergeants in their main command center, an old cave in the mountainside close to where the cavern of the space wolves was situated.

Suddenly the sky turned dark red and purple lightning drew across it. The flashes lit up the entire cave. As coc0 treaded towards the entrance following the swift Ladunov he suddenly heard a scream behind him. He turned around and there he saw a horrifying display: Chief librarian Argiban stood there grasping his head tightly with 2 arms. The piping of his psychic hood exploded and red lightning came out of every cavity in his face. He dropped on the ground spasming with the lightning shocking over his entire body. He spoke his final tortured words to the shocked dreadnought with eyes turning yellow:

"It has come! A horror has spawned! Be prepared to meet a new ene-"

His final sentence was cut off by a final large shockwave. His head started to grow and veins could be seen thick and throbbing on his bald head. Then with an enormous lightning wave the veins and his head burst into a warpish whirlwind and the entire electrifying body got stripped of all armour and skin. Then the portal dissolved.

There it lay: a burned, decapitated skeleton, all that was left of once a great hero of the Imperium.

"I will avenge you, my brother. By the emperors air freshener I will..."

He then strode to Ladunov and stared at the sky through his sensor slit. Many technical issues and hostile overloads were detected by his HUD. He switched off his HUD and looked through the slit with his real eyes. He saw imperial navy aircraft being struck by lightning and torn out of the sky. He saw daemonic shapes spawn out of lightning strike terrorizing the dark air. He saw the ground in the valley cracking and enormous daemonically glowing spires spawn from them. But then he saw something that pleased him. He saw the shuttle that Maverick had been on falling from the sky with large flames engulfing it...

OOC- Hey coc0, what's your dreadnought armed with, I'm interested...

OOC - Hes a Furioso with two built in flamers.

OOC- liking it.

OOC - This may change later though. I also had a small idea, what about a space hulk? It would be cool to have a space hulk either just appear above Thrustabon or make it crash down upon its surface. Then we could have some terminator expeditions on it or something.

Also, is Shas'O vera dead or does he, when he comes back in, control the dark lord?

OOC- I think that Vera is trapped inside the beast and can sometimes paritally control the beast... I like being a psyker

Lord maverick stood. The hulking form of Lord Hardiferous was visible in the distance.

"Commissar... I think we've got a problem. Get your kit, we're leaving. Another Lord, of another kind comes to claim me."

"What the gak is that?!" Shouted captain Ladunov as he saw an enormous creature appear on the horizon.

"The horror that has spawned. Imperial prophecies spoke about this moment, it says this about it: "Once a creation shall rise out of shadow. Mighty with power but ideals so shallow. It longs only for a galaxy to devour. When it appears the clock may sound our final hour." It is a verse, this is probably it." Coc0 said.

"Then lets fight it! We are space marines!" A sergeant said.

"We may be space marines, sergeant, but fighting that is suicide. Just it arriving killed our chief librarian. Who knows what else it can do?" Coc0 answered wisely.

HOLY FETH ON A FETHING SANDWICH! (obscure internet references ftw!)

Lord Maverick bellowed into his microbead.

"Commander Coc0, do you read me? This is a matter of the greatest urgency. The great Pelvic Lord has returned, and has come for us all. We must all unite to face this common foe. I, as Warmaster of the Thruster forces, reprise my original command. Commander, take the loyalist forces down the centre. Lead a furious charge, and leave nothing standing in your glorious wake!"

Turning to nikev, now.

"Commissar, we must get to my command centre at once."

Ludd gasped as the huge psykic shockwave from the Pelvic Lord rushed into his mind, he let out a strained gasp and looked into TGN's eyes. He knew full well that the inquisitor was feeling the exact same contrasting emotion in his enhanced brain. "Till we meet again sir." A smile flashed across Ludd's face and anger flashed across TGN's. Suddenly, the room was filled with a rush of air and red lightning. The inquisitor threw up his arm as warp light filled the room, when he lowered it, the Cadet Commissar was gone.
"Feth it!" The inquisitor screamed at the empty room.
Meanwhile, on the planet of the conflict, red lightning flashed along a small part of the ground. Ludd was back to his old battleground, bit different since I was last here he thought, looking at the warp storm filled sky.

Lord Maverick crested the hill. He was running faster now, his field greatcoat billowing in the wind, and his medals clanking together as he ran.

"Ludd, godammnit, come in! This is Maverick. Take our forces down the flank - do not fire upon the loyalists - negotiations are in progress. Common foe is the Pelvic Lord's army. Do you read me?"
