(bringer) (no police just the droid) speaking of the droid it mkes an od motion towards you which you recognise as a sort of nod, it then proceeds to barrel into the house, using its heavy plas repeater to demolish more walls.

(Cruor) The corridor is smoking slightly with the heat of the last shot, it seems to be empty and there are stairs at the far end with doors on all sides.

Cool, I look for a back door quickly before anybody can get to me.

You dissapear through a door and run of down the sreet, quickly covering your cuts with some scrap marerial grabbed from a curtain.

"well if you really want it. then we go."
i nod to the acolyte to open the door.
i wlk inside with bowed head and say to log and gaz to do the same. i walk to the middle of the room and i will sit down there with an bowed head looking at the lord but avoiding eye contact saying nothing and waiting for the lord to begin with talking

Seeing the stears Messor take to them picking up his reaptor and gathering any ammo of the bodys. holding his knife in teeth reapeter in one hand and plama pistol in other he advances up stares

(nocturne) as expected your lord begins to speak immediatly, "you have a new task, there is a... member of our little group here who has decided to forsake us, he is murdering the trail of people known as the 4 guns, the only weapon suppliers in the region. If the last of them dies we will have to import weapons at increased prices from furthur out, this isnt a good thing, make sure this doesnt happen, there appears to be a civilian who is on his trail, you need to find him, (he gives you the details of nicholas) go"

(Cruor) The stairs end abrubtly and you enter into a long corridor, teak finish strange in contrast to the steel you are used to, the fighting hasnt reached here yet and there are no guards, doors on all sides and stairs at the far end

Cruor goes from door to door cheaking if anyones in them and if there are any storage cases around.

There isnt anyone on these upper floors and you dont find anything bar the usual things you would find in a house, several of the doors have stairs and other corridors behind them

Going back to the stair in the main hall and climbs them

The next floor appears to be a firing level, you can see a fairly large structure on one side.

Aprotching it carfuly keeping the objected in sight Cruor heres voices and closes in on them.

"yes milord, of course milord. i will do it as fast as possible. but milord maybe you have noticed but i have 2 brothers with me they need to join the hunt or else they may not take part in this hunt. so milord i ask you to make them brothers. i already tested them and they did all the test exactly as it should be. further more i request the use of the armoury as i need some enhancements and some preparations for the hunt.

"Cruor, have you found anythin useful? We don't see any hostiles."

(shas Cruor) Cruor goes to the door and listens, through the door he can hear several people talking, "Contacts several, male, elevation 58 degrees, wind shift 5 mph you have a green light."

(Nocturne) "the lord nods, of course, you have my blessing to induct them if they so choose, and the armoury is open to you as always, may the hunt bring you plenty."

Nicholas runs in the direction Hicks should be at... by now the police realize who he actually is, and is hopefully tracking his phone...

Nicholas keeps his eye out for any old car or stray bike that could help him reach Hicks faster...

(Bringer) Running along you jump into a car and use the key thats floating in the ignitionit, noone notices our slick departure from the scene of the fire, (the car door was open), Yu speed down the hovermac, sliding slightly on the corners, and you see the burning wreck of a car on the side of the road, a man is slowly crawing away from the scene, as he does so you see anouther figure move from behind the vehicle aiming a plasma pistol.

Delays sighed Nicholas, but he didn't let his regrets slow him down.

He tried to observe the situation as quickly as possible.

Who was the plasma pistol being aimed at, and did he recognize any of the people?

"well gaz, log ur now my brother soon you will be able to understand the truth but for now the hunt begins. now follow me if you want. but if you choose to leave this place then leave and never return again. if you stay you will be my brother."

(bringer) as you get closer you realize what road you are on and the robes of the assailant (the pistol is pointed at the crawling man)... its hicks and the killer

(nocturne..) unsure if i should post for them here, need a vote from the group on this one, do i make the descision for them?

Nicholas turns the car towards the killer, and floors it.

As he does this he also honks the horn really loudly, which will hopefully disorient the killer for just enough...

(bringer) The killer looks up as he pulls the trigger, his shot fires wild and he leaps out of the way pulling anouther pistol from his jacket, the shot from it smashes through the window and glass flys everywhere, your face gets hit by the blast and you feel the sside of your cheek burnt, you kick the door open and roll behind the car.

Nicholas thanks that his suspicions were correct... Hicks may yet live.

Nick pulls out his shotgun and lays down, aiming under the belly of the car.

You see the killer advancing on the crawling man, his feet moveing underneath the time.

(bringer) the first shell tears the killers legs out from under him and he falls in a heap screaming.

Nicholas doesn't want to take any chances with this guy, as he is a professional, and completely demented; and so he finishes the job. He fires twice more into him, and then goes over to Hicks.

"Okay, taking the shot. They'll be dead within seconds."

(Nocturne) (on your head be it ) Gaz and log step forwards, "were with ya all the way mate" Whatve we gotta do?

(bringer) sos your story line needs to halt 4 a bit cause this is where gaz log and the bringer are supposed to turn up,

(shas Cruor) The shots from the snipers flick through the buildings windows, shattering them and decimating the men inside the building, heads burst every where as esb rounds snap into them. Cruor kicks down the door and fires his plasma pistol into the face of a guard and shoulders the next door using his momentum, he sees the 6 dead Bodyguards and a man cowering in a corner, Cruor raises his pistol. "Ive got him."

"before we continue i need to tell you the truth as you are now a brother in the cult of the reaper. as you cant run away now. i am not a hunter. im not even a man from the wildernis. im a assasin for the reaper. and ur now my acolyts. it was a role. now dont think i didn't mean what i said and it wasn't just a mission. cause i needed to protect you. first i protected you just for the mission. then i protected you because you became almost my only friends. ofcourse i have a cult of brothers but thats different. do you have any questions? but now we need to go the the armoury."
"oh and 1 thing. this is not my real face. because its just a mask i cant let you see my real face. but i can let you see my cult face. and thats this one."
i rip of the mask and let them see my skull mask.
"don't fear me as you will be one of us now."
"let us proseed to the incoming ritual."

(nocturne) Gaz and Log are understandably shoked and start asking a multitude of questions. Namely "Whats going to happen to the engineers? They are expecting us back"

"the engineers will be kept safe they are under protection of the cult. and for you guys, if you join then log and gaz are dead they died with the hunter because of an assault of sleepers. further more you still can leave. i am sorry to shock you. and i hope that you can understand that i fullfilled the mission. because what i said about the reaper or as you know him the lord of the hunt. thats all true. and yes you already met the grandmaster of the cult.

(nocturne) Gaz steps back, then reaches to his neck and rips his dog tags of, "so be it."

Log follows suit

"well as the rituals say the skulls we are wearing are your first victims. as they will be the begin of your new life. further more i am going to give you some equipement and i am your new mentor."
as he said that they reached the armory.
"well here we are. and here is your stuff"
he pointed to the 2 packages.
"i will first train a little with you so you are a little prepared.i already send someone to the dealer so he will be protected. but thats our mission so we will buy us some time to prepare.we gotta hurry so please but it on and follow me to the next door were we are going to do some close combat training and some gun training."

(nocturne) (you run this mate, start it and well do some combat work, ill dm for gaz and log as per usual but you dictate the layout of the guild)

"i see all fits then we start first we do some cc with these dummies i marked the vital spots so strike at these. when i see you understand it will be 2 against 1 because then i can see how well you work together. by the way dont be scared as we only use wooden weapons." after that we are going to do some shooting practise against the same dummies we use rubber bullets so we are able to reuse them."

(nocturne) "sounds good" the two of them set to with gusto and you tutor them, they are fast learners, you quickly move on to more advanced teqniques

"well brothers you are promising i think you will be even better then me. now we will do the training with the wooden blades 2 vs 1. you guys against me. i will hold back a bit but if i cant keep you guys back i will try to go a little harder. i will not kill you or damage you only give little pushes were ur going wrong. lets begin brothers."

(nucturne) the two have been friends for a long time, and they work well as a team, also botha re quite strong from thier professions and you realize immediatly that they outmatch you in strength but not in skill, you spar for a hard five miutes in which time you have to use every skill you know to stp them from over powering you via force

"ok well done. you outclass me in strenght and you are very promising i think you can become the first assasin fight couple. lets go to shooting practise just shoot the dummies with these guns"

(nocturne) Gaz nods and log looks sheepish, "That would be a good idea, the lad heres a pretty good shot, show im log", log pulls his pistol from his holster and fires a shot without looking between the eyes of one of the dummies, "He practises alot, me not so much"

ok then we can skip this part for log. as he can do this without looking. so he will be training this against a droid. and gaz you will do this training after this we go to the armoury for your "hunting" equipement. because you can't kill somebody just by your hands that takes to long."

(nocturne) gaz nods, what do i get?

"log follow us you will also get some equipement."
he opened the door to the armory. all kinds of snipers and blades, guns and posons lay down on wooden shelves.
"as you are only subordinattes i can you only give you this."
he gave both 2 knives 1 gun and 5 clips. also they got some comm links.
"here you go. we can have 4 hours of sleep. follow me to my room."
he walked down a long corridor of skull decorated walls. and opened an door to his right.
"as you are only the lower brothers and you are mine. you will sleep in my room here are your beds. please rest as good as you can."

(nocturne) the two look slightly bemused but nod, "i guess well do some practice tomorrow then" they both head of to sleep

tomorrow is also the day we depart

(Nocturne) they nod sleepily, and begin to snore

i go to the reaper as i knew he wanted to see me personally. i nod to the acolyte. and wait for the reaper to call me and let me inside

(nocturne) the reaper nods to you as you walk into the room, "you have done very well, not only have you done exactly as i wished and inducted them into the guild you have also protected them from harm in the most powerful way, you have given them the protection of the brotherhood. This is exceptional work, i commend you for it, now sit, i wish to tlak with you about this mission"

"thank you master, and as you wish master. what is it you want to talk about?"

"Don't kill him. We need someone to answer our questions."

(Nocturne) "You have been given this misson to bring anouther into our influence, whether he joins the brother hood or not we need the aid of the one named Nicholas, he is important, like the engineers, i do not know why but the divining crystals showed me this to be true, you will arrive to find the target already dead, this cannot be helped, however you are to aid the man named Nicholas in his futhur investigation into the killers hirer."

(ic) Grabbing the quivering sack and strapping his hands to his back he talks back through his communicator "where you want him for questions" only condition ive got is you can try first then its my go at getting answers.

(Cruor, (shas)) Behind you you hear running men, the footfalls stop as they see the carnage, one man sees you and a plasma burst flys through the window. You duk down and brace against the wall, you drag your new charge to you, you cant let him get shot to pieces, several sniper rounds fly through the air and take down a couple of the new foes but the rest hunker behind cover and the snipers cant get a clear shot. Theyre pinned down (the enemy) but not in actual danger

"I can't get a clear shot, it's down to you."

"yes milord we will depart now as i can't let this one be unsafe for to long i will wake them and we depart. do we need to be undercover?"

(Nocturne) "Yes it will be important for you to get through the city as usual, civilan dress will do, however you need to identify yourself as one of the brotherhood when you meet Nicholas"

Fine i think i can get them but I’ll need you to give me cover fire and there positions

(as shas for cruor) "As you need it well give fire, try to make them poke thr heads out a bit and we can pick some off, there are five, 2 almost directly infront of the window theyre behind the lip of the wall, they should go down fast, and three are hiding behind the stairwell wall. good luck"

Leaving his charge by the window, cruor then starts Edging along the wall towards where the two men near the lip cruor sends a plasma blast threw the wall shocking the men on the other side he then kicks one over the railing sending him falling then in a fluid motion he then grabs third uses his knife to slash the guys arm tendons then uses him as a shield as he moves towards the other men firing at them with his repeater over his shield’s shoulder, one of the other three men pops his head round the corner Shas removes him from the gathering with a clean head shot.

(cruor) The man desintegrates under the fire of esb repeaters and after a time once you get close enough you release him and run forwards, ducking behind the stairwell wall and dropping a grenade around the corner then sprinting back to the window, a bullet catches your arm and numbs it with the static shock but you manage to volt over the wall and crouch down as the grenade detonates.

"so he knows we are from the brotherhood?"

(Nocturne) "no, but you must explain to him what we are, you will not have much time, there are powers moving against him, and us"

"then we depart." the bringer bowed to the reaper and went back to his subordinates.
"log gaz we must go, grab your equipement and follow me we will have to disguise us as civilians and we also must prepare for an total defence of someone so prepare for a fight."

"Good, I think thats it. You took a shot, are you okay?"

(Shas) Cruor breaths heavily as he crouches behind the wall, he looks at his arm and grimaces, the numbness is dissapearing but blood is pouring out, he quickly binds a strip of cloth from the shirt of one of the dead and heaves the now unconcious mark ovre his shoulders, "Yeah. Im ready to go"

(Nocturne) The two guys quickly get ready, flashes of exitement going over their eyes, when the three of you are ready you head down into the subterannian tunnels that lead to the city.

After a good deal of waiting inside one of the trans-gravs you finally rach the city, getting out of the low lying train you exit the secret tunnel system, you breath deep the air around you, "Its good to be back"

"ok boys lets go. we have no time to lose, lets find this nicolas and protect him."

log and gaz swiftly followed the bringer.

"Okay, just check in there and see if there is anything there that could help us. Info, weapons, whatever."

"Shas Cruor) Cruor checks the bodies and grabs a couple of clips for his repeater and several grenades, then he makes his way down the building retracing his steps until he meets fellow mercs, eventually he and the other mercaneries hes picked up along the way get back to the commander, he nods to you and speks through his walkie, "Alright weve got him, were pulling out, mortar crew you have a shot in 5 min repeat 5 min," he turns to his men, "well come on then, MOVE!"

(nocturne) The three of you quickly move through the back streets of victus, every second your on the look out for danger but nothing seems to concentrate on you, you have a clear run to a hover rink where you rent 3 hoverbikes for swifter travel.

"Acknowledged. Good job in there."

(shas cruor) well wait for cruor to return

"come on boys we can't lose a sec just hurry i hope you guys know how to use this thing?"

Seeing the men start to move he yell for cover fire when they breack from out of the house all hell breacks loss

(Shas Cruor) The commander stops in his tracks, then he yells out, "Everybody down!!!!"
As everybody drops to the ground mortar rounds smash into the house masonry falling everywhere.

the commander yells through the smoke "I said 5 minutes!!!" the reply through his earpiece is menacing, your men arte dead, and now so are you, the loading of moartars can be heard.

(nocturne) sorry missed your post) Log nods, grinning, "put the goggles on, then think where you want to go, its intuitive, so the more confident you are the faster you can go, my advice, get confident quick."

while they are at high speed the bringer knows he is almost at location.
"ok boys stop here we need to walk now"

The 3 of you dismount and walk down the road, you can see the smoking wreck of the vehicle,and shots are fired.

Hearing what goes threw the com. Cruor yells to his left you men take our objective back to the safe base we set up. "shas we need to take out the nutter on the morta you with me? and any of you other up for the challange?

(Cruor) a shout goes up from the remaining mercaneries, and many manycrawl closer to hear your plan

"stay in the shadow. and follow me"
he drawed his silenced gun and checked it ready to fire.

(Nocturne) You and your two alies move forwards quickly, anouther blast clearly audible, you come around the side of the car to see a shotgun weilding man standing over the pulped corpe of the target.

(the bringer) (you can rp again now, sorry for the wait, just had to get the timelines sorted.)

Woohoo! It was completely worth the wait... because now we are together.

Nicholas stood over the dead body of the killer, surprised that he had turned his back to him... a mistake which cost him his life.

Nicholas looked around and saw three onlookers - "Hey, you! Can you help get that man to a hospital?" He said as he pointed to Hicks... hoping that he was still alive.

Nicholas then turned back to the body of the killer and searched it.

(Bringer, Nocturne) this needs interaction, your both fairly active so ill let you to do it, have fun

i walk to the corpse and check its heartbeat.
"that is to late he is already death"

Nicholas looked down and cursed at those words...

"Thanks, I should be going if you can take care of this. The police will probably cause me some trouble."

Nicholas takes the guns off of the killer, and searched for anything that might lead to who he is.

"I know. I'll see if I can spot him."

I look around, seeing if I can find the nutter.

(shas) You look through your scope for several seconds around where the mortar crew was supposed to be, eventually you find him, but what you see surprises you, instead of a human what appears to be there is a bulky humanoid robot, or at last someone in very heavy armour, about human height but massive skeleto fibre bundles give him far superior strength.

You cant see any weak points on the armour yet, but you are sure theres one there somewhere.... surely

(Bringer) As you ook through the killers pockets you realize that being a pro this guy wouldnt have had anything on him, he doesnt even have the usual idenchip implanted in his knuckle.

you finger yours slowly, your finger running over the old scar youve had since you were 16, "thats how they are tracking them, the idenchips" you think to yourself, and anyone without an idenchip would be invisible on the world server....

you remember talk of a gunsmith who works with magnetic relays to construct weapons which he then deals out to mercaneries. As you remember the guy accidentally disabled his own chip years ago with his own magnetic flux fields.

He might be the killers employer.

"wait follow us we cant let you go alone."

"Why? I don't want any more trouble this day." While saying this Nicholas puts the killer's gun back in his hand (for the police...) and gets up to leave the scene of crime.

(im going to throw anouthr event into the mix tomorrow so stay tuned guys )

Nicholas looks the man in the eye... "Ok, I will go with you."

...but Nicholas keeps his hand on his gun.

he sees that nicolas is keeping his gun ready.
"please beleave me when i say that we mean no harm. we must protect you. i will say why how and from who or by what later now is priority to find a safe place."

nicolas, gaz, log and the bringer made haste. the bringer kept a keen eye on everybody and moved to a house in the lower district.
"here we are safe as this was my house before my joining"

(nocturne, bringer) At first glance the house appears to be any other ordainry dwelling, but on closer inspection the wooden walls are actually painted steel-carbon alloy and every foot or so at head height there are small valves in the walls, if an inturder tripped the alarm the house would be flooded with class A, toxins, the most abundant toxin in the house is called the red mist, named because of its earthy red colour, the colour doesnt matter however as once it reaches bare skin it causes a chemical reaction that makes it melt. Extremely painful and incredibley leathal, the two stories to the house seem to be kitted out for the surveliance of every one in the block, an entire wall of moniters flicks between shots all over the block from micro cams, hiddin in streetlights.

(so if an intruder enters even we die? 0,0)

(you can turn the alarms off when ur in thr, feel free to set up other defenses as well, but this stuff is the prelude to a hand grendae thats gonna turn up soon... whoops did i say that out loud? XD)

alrighty, EVENT

A massive rumbling rips through the house, it feels like an earth quake, but its not the same, Gaz looks out the window and mutters under his breath, you turn to see a huge shape over the city, its truly huge, its so big that it blocks out the sun, it hovers in place for a few seconds, then begins to sink into the city, directly over the police airbase, the shape appears to sink into the gound, you cant see if it hits anything tho becuase the airfield walls are huge.

Outside the city the mortars apruptly stop raining down around the pinned mercs, and they are replaced by the same rumbling, over the city the sihouette of a huge ship, bulky and square, like the space vessels from before the fall, slowly sinks down over the city.

This event, although vague is highly important to the story line as you will find out, part two will be posted tomorrow when i have more time, (thats when the grenades turn up)

the second point in the event will be placed exactly 1 hour of time forwards in the story, so please try not to rp past that, itll screw things up, thnx

"What the f**k is up with that? Cruor, are you still there?"

Nicholas turns away from the odd scene to slightly more pressing matters, "Can you tell me who you are now, and your purpose in bringing me here?"

Nicholas takes his hand off his gun. He was probably a dead man already if they wanted to harm him.

" we are servants of the reaper. an assasins brotherhood. i am the bringer and these are log and gaz they are my subordinates. we came to save you as it was our mission."

(shas) A slightly shaken Cruor speaks through your mike, "Yeah... youd better come see this."

"Saved from what? Please explain."

"If you're looking at what I am now, then that should already be it, but for Gods sake don't tell me there's something else."

I pack up my sniping position, and signal for my brother to join me as I make my way to Cruor.

"we have saved you from the real killer. oh you look surprised. you really think that that guy was the killer? well he wasn't. we of the brotherhood are never caught that easilly. and yes one of our members turned renegade and is now hunting you. so thats from what we saved you. i must also say that as long as your hunter lives your nowhere safe. the only safe place is the brotherhood itself. we can take you there and if you wish you could even join. oh and i must also let you see one thing as i am a honest man. this is not my face."

he ripped the mask from his face and showed the death mask to nicolas.
"i know that your scared of it but i needed to show you this as it would only be more traumatic if i showed you it after a while. and thats only from experience."

the bringer laughed after he nodded at log and gaz.
as they stood a little uncomfortable in a corner of the room. looking at the death mask of their master.

(shas) You get to cruor and feel faintly sick, the enemy mortar crews have been killed... but all thats left of them is a skeleton and clothing strewn across the ground bit of flesh hanging here and there.

(shas) the armour of the men seems to have been taken.

(sorry this is a bit late buuuut)

EVENT (part two)

Bringer gaz log and nicholas all jump as a banging sound comes from down stairs, then an explosion rips through the house, the door can be seen down stairs being blown of its hinges, through the gap walk two droids, two legged and weilding nasty looking plas repearters, after those two secure the entrance way two more walk through, and so on until one starts to come up the stairs, at which poin log blows its head of, all the droids attention snaps to you and one pulls a nasty looking grenade from his belt holsters.


(Shas Cruor) The enire mercanery group begins to yell ass plasma burts fly in from all angels, breaking through trees and sending men spinning through the air, through the trees can be seen the shape of more of the droids, plus a seemily heavier armoured one walking forwards wielding a Massive weopn that discharges huge gouts of roiling plasma in incandescent balls of deadly light. Needless to say everyone scrambles for cover.

"well nicolas here we going get back."
i take my knives from my belt and i rush towards the closest to under covering fire from log and gaz.

(nocturne) The droid drops his weapon and pulls a nasty looking blade from his belt, gaz shoots the grenade out of the other droids hand and it flies out the window,

"well lets dance then"
i duck behind him and attack him from behind

The droids entire torso swivels around and it parries your blow, going onto its hands the droid spins its legs in a circular kick to your chest and then uses its momentum to land on its feet facing the right way,

"now gaz fire him in his back!!!!"
i keep destracting the droid

(Nocturne bringer) Gaz fires a shot which bores into the Droids back, the droid collapses, sparking to the ground, immediatly two other droids drop thier guns and turn towards you while several more walk into the house and begin to lay fire up the stairs.

Just as Nicholas was going to speak... the droid burst through the door. Nicholas dove behind a cabinet. He looked around to see the Bringer fighting it.

As it spun its torso around to meet the bringer, Nicholas heard the cry for Gaz to fire into its back... but Nicholas took the honors of it. He ran forward and fire his plasma pistol at it, being careful that the blast wouldn't touch Bringer.

(The Bringer) Gaz nods to you but is thrown across the room as a droid comes in the door behind you, apparently they scaled the walls and came in through the windo, gaz's shot dismembers the droid and you finish it but more are pouring through

"we must use the tripple seal techic i thought it to you and you must now use it then we can escape."

(Nocturne) You turn, to see log beginning the manouvre but Gaz is in no state to help, his head is bleeding and hes unconcious, Nicholas is fireing point blank at every thing that comes trhrough the door, and you are forced to turn and fight a droid advancing on you.

i will do a dive behind him in mid air i plant a knife in his hip so he cant turn andi attack him in the back
"LOG are you able of hacking some droids?"

Nicholas continues to fire his shotgun into the droids.

(Bringer Nocturne) Log does indeed start hacking skeletons, using his short knifes to tear out thier poorly defended neck circutry, it appears that no more droids are entering the house however and you are diminishing their numbers, Nicholas turns from shooting one droid to seeing anouther right next to him, he fires his weapon out of instinct but it makes a hollow buzzing sound, his clips empty, but the weapon still discharges its pulse which seems to fry its circuts, the twitching droid falls to the floor. twitching....


After a time you realize that the only two droids left are hiding behind the door frame fireing intermittant blasts at you, you think at least one of them is damaged

"nicolas throw me your gun. i will take care of the last ones. also take as much important stuff you can grab we will need it. also take some of my ammo stocks they are under my bed."
"log how is that droid is it ready to roll? after you hacked it help gaz we CANNOT lose him now."

Nicholas tosses his gun over to the Bringer and ducks behind a cabinet again.

"thanks nicolas. take the stuff i said to log and go inside the hole"
i jump through the door and shoot both the droids. i also draw my knives ready to strike the droids.

(Nocturne Nicholas) Log nods and begins to fix Gaz up you dismember the droids, Nicholas rins arounds grabbing all the waepons and ammo he can find, as well as several of the guns the droids were using, add 300 ammo units of any type that you want each and you both get a Plasma ripper, no ammo requirement, equal in effectiveness to a plas repeater. Also add three flesh grenades to any member of your group

(shas) Shots from esb's rain in from all directions disabling droids buthering most of the front lines, you see an opening through the fire line and the larger droid is revealed

Nicholas took his shotgun back from the Bringer and reloaded it. Helping himself, he put a plasma ripper in his trench coat, and then grabbed 150 spare shells for his shotgun, and pocketed the three flash-grenades.

"I am no skilled medic. But now back to my previous question, why was I worth saving? What do I play in your plan?"

"Who the f**k did that for us?! But it was helpful. Now, are we going to use my plan to kill the big one? I'll need you to distract it for me."

his point iws punctuated as a shriekiing sound builds up then a strange muffled thump, an incandescent ball of plasma roils throuh the window but misses you all, carving through the roof

"well we must go now"
he walks to the closet. "in here"
he opens a hidden entrance and jumps down below

Nicholas follows after Bringer down the hole.

(shas) (ima post 4 cruor cause hes dissapeared) "Roger (shas, sos i forgot ur dudes name :S)" Cruor waves his hand at the mercaneries and they take up a firing line behind fallen logs, the commander seems to be unconcious or worse and Cruor has taken control. The mercaneries are grim but get into position quickly, Cruor nods to you shas and then waves to his mercaneries, they pop up and begin to lay ESB fire into the ranks of approaching droids, dozens fall and you begin to see the scale of the forces sent against you.

(Nicholas Nocturne) The 4 of you drop into a low long tunnel, you quickly speed along it log panting behind as he carries Gaz, the kid is tank you think that engineer must weigh 220 pounds,

eventually you all get out of the tunnel near a dilapidated housing develpoment that was never finished, in the distance you can see the house buring and plasma shots bursting all over the superstructure, for some reason there are no sirens.

(His names Falco and his brothers ason )

"We'll have a much easier job when the big one is down. Give me time, I'll set up asniper position and see if I can take it out!"

i walk to a corridor and i sneak in it.
i stop in the shadows.
"after this were on the main road. as they are everywhere we need distractions. that why i prepared some.
he took a remote (for the hacked droid) he got from log.
"well lets go."

"We still have a major problem. They can track us every step we take," said Nicholas pointing to where he got his implant.

"The men I was trying to save were tracked by there idenchips, and so I think it likely that those people know our position."

(nice call bringer) (bringer) You findyourself tumblingforwards as several drids burts through the wall behind you, plasma rippers blasing,

(shas) (chrs) The merccaneries pick of the droids taking their time butchering the front line, the droids have no concept of defeat and push forwards their ranks withering under torrents of fire

"thats why we must hurry the cult has disruption fields so you wont be leading them to us. oh and here." i give him a scalpel.

i ran to the droids. duck under them and blasted them open with the ripper

"I can remove it myself..." says Nicholas as he ducks behind cover to let them take care of the droids.

He cuts open his scare and digs around to find it, trying to hold back the pain.

(Nicholas) you find it after a few seconds, taking it out, you tie a quick badage over it and then aim at the droids, only to find them smoking and melted

(Bringer), your shots seem to pass straight through them as they crumple beneath the fire.

(shas) You see an opening as the droids behind the big one move forwards to protect his front, their protocols not allowing for anti sniper defense, you have a fully clear shot

"I'm going to take ths shot!"

I fire.

"no time to lose give me the chip. i run to a body in the corridor. this should keep them long enough."
"now we must move."
i run to the exit and watch if there are droids.
"now we must move. i run to a place that looks normal and click on my armswitch. the three bikes appear out of nowhere.
"log you take gaz on your bike. i will take nicolas. and i leave a little surprise."
i walk to the third bike and put a small device in it. "this should make a lot of distraction and confusion."
i step on the bike and prepare to ride away. "nicolas ur with me."

(Shas) The bullet bores through the droids skull and it craashes to the ground, the droids turn hearing the shot but youve already dissapeared

(nocturne) You and Log steam away ferom the scene and as droids come around the corner to keep shooting the device goes of, the weapon discharges a cloud of radioactive gas theat melts the droids, and everything else, it eats through the ground and the tarmac buildings desintegrate before it, the bikes speed forwards only just escaping the rapidly expanding cloud as it consumes an entire city block

"Where are we going to now, Bringer?" Nicholas yells over his shoulder.

"you already know!"

"Hahaha. I was successful. Now take down the others."

(shas) The mecaneries continue to decimate the droids, soon there are none left, but the mercaneries have lost in numbers, heavily depleted they begin to collect their dead. because of the nature of the plasma rippers, there are no wounded.

(Bringer nocturne) The 4 of you speed through the streets and soon get to the tunnel system that you used to enter the city, somethings bugging you about what happened but neither of you can figure it out.

The log pipes up, there are still no sirens... no government prescence... its like they arnt their... no fire brigade, no ambulance.. no cops

"the second wave is beggining. we must hurry nicolas ready your weapons and sit with your face to the back we can suspect company."

"Cruor, what next? I can make my way back to the helicopter to get more supplies, but I don't know what you want to do."

(cruor isnt posting recently so ill post for him) (shas) Ill come with you, im going to keep an eye on this one, he shrugs his shoulders and you realise that he had the unconcious mark on his shoulder the whole time, and doesnt even seem to be fased.

(Bringer nocturne) you look back down the tunnel after you camp down and shadowy shapes can be seen in the tunnel, along with sounds of a firefight, in front of you more droids are moving slowly through the city, torching homes. A single man walks in the midst of them. He is a sleeper, and hes fightin the citezens as well.

"here we go" i draw the ripper as we speed along him and try to shoot him in mid air while nicolas is covering our back

Nicholas pulls down the Bringer's arm and says "Don't you think he could prove more valuable alive?"

And while doing that he takes aim at any immediate threats...

Nicholas realises that there are hundreds if not thousands of droids in the city, homes are being destroyed schools butcherd hospitals burned down.

"why should he be alive? he is butchering our people."
i aim at his arm and try to fire both his arms of.

"Hmmm. Anyway, I need to find out how we were detected so easily, and why there were robots,. We need those answers."

(Nocturne) Your shots pour into the air bt the droids hearing the gunfire move to shield him, dozens of droids are torn apart as the ripper shots bore into them

i jump of the bike in the middle of the droids destroying some with my blades mid air.
"LOG take nicolas to the base i will make n distraction i will see you there"

Nicholas seeing the responses of the droid to the firing also opens fire on the sleeper. He fires his plasma pistol into them, and then opens fire with the Ripper.

"So log, where do we go?" He asks while helping Bringer.

"I don't know."

(Shas) Cruor nods moving towards the chopper, "Im sure well figure it out, now lets go, by head is acheing from the smell of melted steel:

(Log Bringer) The tunnel is dark but flashes of light can be seen and the sounds of the firefight are getting closer

(Nocturne) The droids turn to you in one fluid motion, releasing their guns which clatter to the ground they pull out the now familiar combat blades they wield so efficiently and begin to advance on you.

"so you want to dance?"
i try to disable the sleeper from running by shooting his legs off. after that i rush to the drones ripper blazing trying to backstab them with my knives. i furthermore activate the drone that was hacked to come to here.

(Nocturne) Your shots swing wild as a knife swings for your face and you have to duck out of the way, the hacked droid responds dimly and begins to move but you are unsure of its reliablity, the sleeper seems to be controlling the droids but you are unsure how, you frantically try to fend the droids of but they are beginning to circle you, the ripper in your hand lblazes briefly cutting a swath through the droids but it is quickly filled in.

"well i think the puppet master is afraid."
i try to dive away to the sleeper. i try to grab him and hold the ripper against his head.
"i will blow your head off if you dont stop them"
i shoot one bullet 1 inch away from his foot

Nicholas runs down the cave with Log.. looking back over his shoulder once to see if the Bringer is still actually alive...

(Nocturne) you succeed in tackling the sleeper to the ground, you roll over holding him to you with your gun to his head, your thread rings true and without any visibal or audible prompting the droids just stop, as if frozen in place.

(Bringer log) The two of you look back to see Bringer fighting with the droids, but you have your own troubles, about 300metres along the tunnel you encounter brotherhood men fighting a runnign retreat against more of the lethal robots. You are grabbed to the ground as ripper shots scream over head, the two of you and the 5 brotherhood men scramble behind a outcrop, one of them looks at you with eyes full of sorrow (from logs perspective) "Hes dead, they killed the reaper... hes dead"

i shoot all the droids in the vital spots making them crash and burn.
"well sleeper you come with me."
i blindfold him and i take him with me.
"if you try to escape i will shoot you. if you try to resist i will shoot you. and if you won't listen to me i will shoot you. ok? you have been warned"
i walk with him to log , gaz and nicolas

(nocturne) you find that the guys have headed down the tunnel towards the firefight, you see more droids advancing down the tunnel towards gaz log etc who are firing desperatley into what seems to be an almost endless tide of droids.

"stop these droids sleeper. or you will join the ranks of the damned"

(nocturne) The droids freeze

Log put his knife on the sleeper's neck.
The sleeper looks at a face that shows a wide smile and a deep, excited look in Log's eyes.
The knife pressed against the sleeper, drawing blood.

Nicholas helps the Bringer and opens fire on the remaining droids.

"So what now? Your master is dead!" shouts Nicholas to the Bringer. "And where are these droids coming from anyways?"

"what do you mean my master is dead? and when these ships came the droids came to so thats kinda obvious. and if it is true that my master is dead he will have left something. so we must go inside the base. there are weapons there that can destroy the whole city so we must go NOW"

(everyone bar shas's group) The droids... they've taken over the base

"then we take it back. we have one of their controllers"

(nocturne) the two acoyles drift of to death as their wounds over come them, the four of you are on your own

i close their eyes.
"you, monster, how do you deactivate the droids? you know what happens if you don't answer"
i make a clicking sound with my ripper

(Nocturnes party) the sleeper grins. You can destroy them or i can shut donw my mental link with them, kill me and ever single one will flock to this place and destroy you.

"Brother, we may need more help. Head out and take a look for anything unnatural with the thermal. But head towards the building, where we were found out."

Your brother nods and begins a low sweep of the building and the surrounding grounds, the thermal picks nothing up except for the remaining mercaneries heading for the house to loot it,

(Nocturne)
The dark corridors of the house of silence are unlit by any means, even when you try to light a wall torch it does nothing to improve the darkness.

"he is not dead."
i walk to the middle of the chamber and search for his body

"Now we go, and make our way towards the man who was to be our target, before we were found out."

(nocturne) you walk forwards a few steps then something touches your foot, you stoop down and blindly reach out, your fingers touch a body and you haulk it back to the light, it is your master, his chest in tatters from the blasts of the rippers that the droids use, in his hand a thin weapon shaped like a handgun, but long and disproportionate, in the darkness you can here the movement and clanking sounds you come to associate with the droids. from behind you com screams of terror, clearly someone has managed to find the tunnel and is fleeing the ruined city.

(shas) from the back seat cruors voice pipes up "Ive got him here boss, where to now?"

"sleeper de-activate the droids NOW"
"LOG get that person if you let him escape we are doomed, you are allowed to use deadly force as long as he is stopped." i look at the rippers body and lay it down respectfully. "master i know youre not done yet. i walk to the sleeper (who was sitting by now). "and you are going to explain all this. i personnally hope you won't co-operate because then i can revenge my master. but that is not what my master wanted to have me done immediatly. so thats why i let you give me a reason. youre own choice. oh and about that radio pulse. only the droids in this base will hear it and they will be long dead by then. because these walls.(i knock on a wall) are from inckepta silencium. also known as complete silence. and so is every wall in this base. so you can yell all you want because in this room you will hear it but in the next room its COMPLETE SILENCE. so are you gonna cooperate?" i take my clutch pistol instead of my ripper (as it will be more bloody XD). and i give it only the minimum dose of drugs as i want to make him suffer if he refuses to help

(Nocturne) the sleeper gurgles and blood spills over his lip, he chuckles, "I am already dead"

the sleeper explodes violently smashing you of your feet and into a wall, you hear a gentle pop down the corridor as the magnetic seals in the building shut to the outside world, your trapped in the darkness with the droids, and you can hear them getting closer.

(Log gaz Bringer) (You guys are on your own till Nocturne escapes) You hear the door seal shut and you realize you cant get in, youtry the access codes but none work, down the hall you hear the screams cease abruptly

(ok guys small update, this rp is now going to become what i wanted to do with it origionally, and that is a survival horror, it will be mildly graphic so if any of you want to pull out now please do but once we get into it properly please dont pull out, make the descision now.

"well then i will have some fun. i blindfold mysself and walk calmly in the darkness. knives drawn.

(Nocturne) As you move through the darkness your ears pick up subtle nuances in the air, small sounds that would usually escape you, the combination of this and your knowlege of the base means you can move quite confidently through it even blindolded. In the darkness you can hear small clicking sounds coming from all around, and shuffling, at one stage you step onto something hard and round but it shoots out from under your foot before you can identify it.

i go to the closest droid and try to destroy his vox and his mainframe in one smooth sweep

you move towards where you think a droid is, but you only find empty air, you hear a mocking clicking sound coming from behind you, you make a quick jab but again only hit air, you realize that they are using the internal acoustics of the base to project sounds into the places they want them, a shiver of terror runs down your spine for the first time in 20 yearsm you have no idea where they are.

"then i have only one option." i sit down and go meditating. i move out my body with my mind to scan the room and look for them. even trying to confuse them by letting a droid shoot another droid

(Nocturne) your meditation brings unseen results, as you leave your body in spirit you realise that the darkness in the base is only phisical, you can see perfectly here, in this form, as you look around a retch comes to your throat, the floor is crawing with metallic bugs, each one eating a small peice of charred human flesh, dead bodies litter the corridor in various states of decay and dessication. The droids in the corridor are unlike any you have seen, they have four arms each ending in a metallic hand, 2 of which are in place of legs, these droids crawl over the roof and walls, every now and then you come across an ordainary droid which seems to be commanding the others. After a time when you realise that there is a room that the droids havnt been in you enter slowly, cautious, one of the acolytes who lead you through these corridors to see the master whe you were last here is dead in a corner, a sindle bug burrowing through his bleeding corpse, but the torch he used is still glowing brighty, you realise if you can get to it in your body you might have a chance as it is the only thing that can penetrate the darkness

(oh ok) i return to my body and i firstly walk to my masters corpse i protect it with flaming torches in a circle. using some of its blood as a fuel source

(Nocturne) the torches flare brightly but do nothing to the darkness, it is a weird thing to feel the heat of fire and yet not see it, but you are comfortable that you masters corpse will endure

and now to that acolyte. i walk to the acolyte always watchfull for the bugs and droids

(Noctune) Youve just touched the door handle when a massive mettalic arm wraps around your neck and begins to drag you away from the door

i try to get away by using my knives

your knifes dig into the steel alloy plate on the droids arm and you get clear, you open the door and then slam it behind you, wedging a chair under the handle,

i look in the room and examine every detail

the room is pretty much bare, the single chair has been wedged under the door but the corpse on the floor has left a pool of blood, you notice the smears on the wall suggesting he had been trown in here, the light on the ground is gving your eyes a bit of a shock as they readjust. the First thing you notice however is the bug nawing on one of the acolytes distented eyes.

i penetrate it with one knife and pin it to the wall then i ignite the corpse giving him a chance to join the damned

The bug spasms before exploding in a puff of cogs and gears

the corpse burns quickly and soon only bones are left.

i look for a way into the armoury.

You take the torch and look around the room, but it is small and no other doors are there, the only way to the armoury is back through the hall

i prepare my ripper and look for some usefull things in the room

The room is completely bare apart from wht youve seen

"Log, Gaz, let's go..." Nicholas said softly.

Nicholas drew his trusty shotgun, and ran quietly down down the hall, keeping his shotgun aimed.

About halfway down the corridor a grisly sight meets your eyes, the man who was screaming has had his arms and legs lopped of and been hung from the ceiling, blood splatters on the walls show the violence of his death, his face is streached in a scream that seems even now to go on and on, and yet the corridor is silent except for Log quietly retching in a corner

"Now, we interrogate him. And dear god, if he doesn't give us the info we want, he will feel true pain. I am a master of this."

(Shas) Cruor chuckles darkly, "he just woke up when you said that"

"Hmmm, let us begin," I say, leaving the cockpit and moving towards Cruor and the man (shall we call him Bob or something?)

i lit the chair on fire and open the door i use it as an distraction to run the the armoury entrance

The man tries to scramble away from you and Cruor lets him go slightly only for the man to stumble back to him when he sees how high up you are.

(Nocturne) The burning chair swats a droid from the room and it explodes as its feul ignites, a fireball races you down the corridor as each droid in turn ignites

i keep on running (never look back)

"Well, well, well. Now, you are going to give me the answers I want. Otherwise, lets just say you will begin to beg me to kill you to make the pain go away. First, how did the law know that we were trying to assassinate you?"

Nicholas resists the noxious feelings in his stomach, quickly looks round to see if the murderer was still there.

Talking silently, he said "Log, what do you make of this? It looks as though someone wanted a grisly scene..."

(Bringer) Log finishes spewing and walks over, wiping his mouth, "Sure looks like it mate, I cant see whoever did it, but look at the smooth cuts, an incredibly sharp object was used to do this, he goes and examines one of the arms, "Oh jeez, look at this"

(Nocturne) you manage to slam the door to the armoury as the fireball rushes past, the steel begins to melt from the heat but the fireball is shortlived and the heat quickly begins to drop again, deep in the base you can hear a rapid tapping sound.

(Shas) The law? what are you talking about?

(The cops basically as they are the law)

i ready my ripper and search for a light switch. (only if it is dark inside.)

(it was XD) your hand brushes over a light switch and you click it on, you look around in surprise, it appears that the droids hadnt gotten this far yet every thing appears to be in order, also you notice in one corner a suit of dispersion armour, you know it will negate any energy effects targetted at your general bodily area.


(Dispersion plate is now available to be used by all players when found or created, it is body armour that makes you immune to plasma rounds and the electrostatic shock of an esb round, (Note the esb round will still act like a bullet you just wont be paralysed))

"After I heard the scream... I don't recall footsteps or any sound of anybody leaving the scene of the crime... I would keep my eye out Log, let's move on."

Nicholas looks around once more, out of paranoia.

(Paranoia is always a good thing to have when im around)

(Bringer) You Log and Gaz begin to move down the tunnel, Gaz pulling up the rear, his injury seems to have healed well in such a short space of time, "Modern drugs" you mutter to yourself,

your mind drifts to the chain of events that have happened over the past few days, and your mind is trying to make connections but nothing seems to fit, simply conicedences? or something worse? you cant tell, for the most part you are happy just to be unharmed.

You pull Log back as he moves around a corner in the tunnel, the man is swinging limply infront of you, you have done a full circle, behind you you look back down the corridor and see the sealed bulkhead.

You look back at the corpse Log mutters beneath his breath, you dont catch it the first time but he clears his throat and sais it again, fear lacing his voice, "He wasnt swinging before"

Nicholas looks at what should be a dead corpse.... and he fires three rounds into it.

"Okay, Log, somebody is toying with us. Let's break out of this."

(I don't suppose I have more cameras of the type I used way back in the RPG? I don't want to ruin your plot by bringing out random equipment >.< )

the bringer smiled for the first time in like 10 years. he really smiled. he equips the suit and looks for some more little happy surprise thingies the reaper made.

(Bringer) (no sorry, your going to have to do this with thought rather than technical know how)

The corpse snaps of the rope and thumps heavily to the florr, oozing blood into the already sickly pool, Log turns around to speak to Gaz "Cmon mate lets.... hes not there"

(Shas) (i thought i did, whoops) The man coughs slightly and looks scaredly at you, "I have absolutely no idea what your talking about, the cops hate our guts, they would just as soon break any deal and slaughter us,"

(Bringer) (Little reward for getting through that without doing anything stupid) You seach through the room but quickly realise that there is otherwise only basic equipment, however you find something that make your blood run cold, a clutch of (safe) grenades identical to the one nearly thrown at you in the house are resting on a self, apart from those two times youve never seen them before.

People don't just disappear... Nicholas walks to where Gaz was to make sure the empty corridor isn't an illusion of some variety.

Nicholas swears again.

"Who is toying with us, what are the trying to do!" He yells.

He looks over to Log and says "We have three options. One, do nothing an wait. Two, try and keep wandering around in this game for the sick amusement of someone. Three, break out of this, and give **** to whoever put us is in it - and I'm all for the third."

(Briger) (yeah sorry about that) Log nods, "im with you mate, lets do this"

"Ok, let's go."

Nicholas looks Log in the eye "Stay by my side. I don't know if either of us could stay sane if we lost the other at this point."

"I need to know something about you before we continue with any plot of ours, you are a trained assassin, yes?"

(Bringer) "yeah kinda... i was a medic before that tho"

Nicholas looks at the walls of the hallway...

(bringer) as you look around you see streaks of gore along the walls, looking closer you notice that they are large exxagerated letters written in blood, the nonsensical writing makes you frown

(shas) the man s eyes widen, "the cops are here? i diddnt notice you see my eyes were shut over this nice mans back, i was unconcious..."

"hang on you mean those droids? those are sleeper design, theyve been working on them for months, i wouldnt know but weve been supplying parts to the people involved in the manufacturing"

"Wait, what are you talking about? We are talking about two days ago, when cops attacked a large skyscraper in the city and me and my brother were almost killed. We have been attacked by droids, but I had no idea what they had to do with anything."

you think THAT was the cops, hahahaha, no that was my personal group of heavies which you decided to butcher, that helicopter was one of my favorites... come to think of it were in it now arnt we? Anyway, my people use police insignias and colours etc to allow us to move around easily,"

Once the man realises he is in his own stolen chopper he becomes scarily calm

"Wait. Why are you so calm," I say, starting to panic, realising what could be wrong. "Oh crap. Your men can most probably trace us."

I get my shotgun, and put it right next to his head, ready to pull the trigger.

"You tell us right now what is going on, or I blow your f**king head off."

(Shas) the man lets out a soft gurgling chuckle before muttering under his breath, you nudge his head a bit more and he sais it louder, "hope you can fly, because your going to find out in 10, 9, 8"

"We need to land now! Get as close to the ground as possible. Otherwise we're gonna have to fly!"

(shas) the man lets out a gurgle and collapses against the wall, blood pouring from his mouth nose and ears, Cruor grabs him and quickly searches him but finds nothing of interest, then wrenches open a locker and grabs a parachute, he kicks of backwards from the egde and quickly drops the chute, just missing the rotor, you dont stop to watch him drift down.

"Brother c'mon we've got to go! Get out of the cockpit!"

i take tham and i go search the computer for some info about everything and i decide i take all the info from them and destroy them.

(Nocturne) The computer boots up and you enter the general password for your brotherhood, REAPERmantis, you scroll through a few documents and finally find what your looking for, what you do find makes you weak at the knees.

**Operation Blacksun**

Operation log 231

As dictated by the Reaper

"I have sent operatives to the man known as Nicholas, this man has been chasing the person killing of our arms dealers and parts smugglers, this assassin is part of our order by the name of Terence Blackwood, he was found to be going against the law of the Reaper 3 days ago in the West quarter.

Once there the operatives will kill Terence and will bring Nicholas to me for subsequent execution.

The battle fleet will be ready in just under 3 hours, we have produced 15000 droids to overthrow the city and allow our clients to reclaim what is theirs, I am meeting the leader of our clients this afternoon when the ship lands to negotiate the payment.

Our operatives will have to be executed as well as they will get here around the time of the client. because of the nature of our client i have decided to wear my Dispersion plate for the meeting incase treachery abounds."


Operation log 232

"I have recieved news of our operatives, they have collected the man known as Nicholas and are finding their way back here, I have decided to have them killed on route through the use of our army."

Operation log 233

As dictated by the Reaper

The client is on his way now, my previous thoughts of wearing the dispersion plate have been erased, it is not a large sum the man has to pay and we still have ultimate control of the droids, no treachery will abound."

Operation log 234

As dictated by the Reaper

"The man has finally arrived and I have had word that the droids have pinned down The Bringer, Gaz, Log, and Nicholas, may their sould rest in peace."

(Shas) your brother runs past you and throws you a parachute, grabbing his he kicks of putting it on in midair, you do the same, pulling your chute once you feel it is clear of the rotors you feel the tug as you are bourne by it, below you you can see your brother and Cruor landing waiting for the two of you to get there, you look up to the chopper and suddenly there is a blinding flash and a rippling boom as the chopper explodes in a spectacular fireball, you feel a moment of panic as the rotor whizzes past you. However insteadof hitting you it slams into your brothers chute tearing it lengthways, the chute splits open and your brother yells as he falls the last 300 metres to earth

Nicholas first goes to the mangled corpse and sees if there is anything on it, he then looks around for scratches... (Just making sure I'm not missing something before I execute a plan...)

Interesting... examines scratches, positioning, anything that could be relative (is this just a red herring?... I was taking the writing on the wall literally just in case it actually meant something... before I continued with my plan.)

(good man) indeed the cuts seem to have been made by an animal, or at least in a very good imitation, there are long gouges on his chest which have pieces of dirt embedded in them
