i hack the computer searching for an deactivation code of the droids.

(nocturne) you search and search and search but you notice in one of the operation logs something that crushes that hope "I have puposefully removed the data string allowing auto deactivation in the case that these droids fall into the wrong hands..."

"damn well then we search for the string senders then they just deactivate."

"Jason!!! No!!!"

(Nocturne) behind you you hear the monotonous clank of more droids, clearly the fireball diddnt kill all of them

(Shas) you watch your brother fall but there is nothing you can do, you turn your head a second beforee impact, when you look back all you can see is a broken body on the ground and cruor rushing over

I stand up weakly, and walk over to the body of my brother, looking down. I see him the last moments of his life.

"I am sorry I could not save you brother," I say, before kneeling down and closing his eyes.

I do something which I have not done in years.

I cry, but I do not allow anyone to see it.

i ready my ripper. and protect the pc.

"Log... it looks as though the killer was an animal... which could at least mean we aren't being chased by a psycho."

(Shas) Cruor turns away shoulders hunched, "Ill give you a moment, but then we have to go, there are more coming, they have overwhelmed the mercaneries... there are many"

(Nocturne) the door smashes open and flys of its hinges into a stack of guns, dozens of ripper shots pour into the room and weapons and grenades begin to melt, you look at the smoking grenades and realise the armour wont save you from dozens of simoultaneous explosions

(bringer) Log turns to you, "so how did he get tied up?"

"... the master of the beast who trapped us here in the first place." Nick said. Then he put his head close to Log and says "I think it is time we create a trap for this beast, or imitation of one, and its masters..."

(Bringer) "sounds good mate"

i jump into cover then i shoot at the droids

"No. We must leave now."

I take one last look at my brother before turning to leave.

(Shas) Cruor nods, he leans down and pulls some brush over your brothers body to hide it from the droids in the darkness, then he draws his plas pistol and nods towards a point in the trees, "thats where you can hear them coming from so i suggest we go the other way"

(Nocturne) The grenades explode around you ripping through the cover you have chosen several pieces of shrapnel hit your legs and arms, and one grazes your cheek, your left arm becomes difficult to lift and you look down to see blood pouring out around a 6" piece of steel jutting out of your elbow

"Come on, let's go."

(Shas) Cruor nods, taking the lead, moving into the treeline like a ghost, ocasionally fireing a shot into the trees, a smoking droid evidence of his accuracy

I get out my shotgun, and stalk through the trees, looking for targets, vengeance in my heart.

"well thats unpleasant." i gun some drones down with the ripper then i use an medipack.

(nocturne) you casually spray disinfectant all over yourself gritting your teeth at the full body stinging and the ache from the shrapnel, you gun down a few more droids and then begin to pull pieces of shrapnel out of your arms and legs, finally you get to your knee and with a massive effort you wrench the spike out of your kneecap and nearly black out from the pain, but you grit your teeth to gun down a couple more droids, after pasting on some quickheal from about 5-6 medikits around you you feel confident enough to keep fighting, although you know it will need attention later

"i am done laying now the real fun starts. he meditates in his head so he wont feel ANYTHING (no heat no cold no pain just plain nothing.) he does this so he wont feel the pain and that his awarness rises another level almost reaching for supernatural

(Nocturne) Your body becomes numb and you realise one problem with this, you have trouble manipulating your weapons and your vision has dimmed.

i realise this quickely and return to the cover. i ready my sniper and reload its magazine.

The droids outside have stopped and you can hear a low humming

"well enough time i think to rest abit."
i turn from my weapon which lays down now. taking a deep breath and just think of happy things. like go hunting on sleepers and rip their faces of for example because they are one of the men responsible.

the world around you slowly dissolves into darkness as your fatigue and injuries over come you, you fight against sleep but it is a loosing battle, eventually you drift off against your better judgement.

When you wake the first thing you notice is the abscence of noise, the humming has stopped, you check your weapons and notice all your gear is still in place,

(Shas) All around you you can see zshifting shadows rushing through the trees, then you hear a sharp whining sound that is building in intensity coming from one of the shadows, you duck behind a tree as his plascaster cuts out and a massive roiling inferno of plasma spurts out from the guns magno nozzle and carves great incinerating arcs through the forest, you can feel your tree beggining to burn

(Nocturne) you look around the room and realise that everything is wrecked, hundreds of shrapnel holes have appeared all over the walls and the computer terminal is hissing and sparking

"damn. then we must go to his personal quarters."
i ready myself to go to the reapers private quarters

(Silentsong) You leave the library and head to your rooms, wondering the best way to explain your coming absence to the master of your company

(Nocturne) you shoulder a powerful looking gun that you realise youll need to breach the blast doors if they are closed,

(you aquire a esb cannon, a powerful oneshot then reload weapon that fires an electromagnetic ball that implodes whatever it hits. you have only one shot atm)

I burst out of cover from the other side of the tree, and fire my shotgun at where the plasma shots are coming from.

"Cruor! Where are you? I could use some help over here!"

he picked it up and slung it over its shoulder

You see Cruor taking cover behind a rock, calmly slotting a new power cell into his plasma pistol, you double take at this as youve never seen one reloaded and then you realise hes actually modifying it in-battle, when he pops up to shot he fires the pistol which creates an instantaneous plasma beam which sweeps over the ground towards the droid, when it gets there the droid simply ducks to avoid it but it diddnt account for the tree falling on top of it, you look back to Ccruor thanking him, and you see him discarding the now silent apparently one shot cell into the bushes, he nods to you then slots the old cell back in, "theres three more, one on the left, one on the right and one behind us, ill go to the left you go right, then we flank the one behind in a pincer"

(Nocturne) (perhaps but your also the person with the hardest enemies to fight....... whoops did i say that allowed?")

You move out into the corridor, torch in hand and look both ways trying to remember which way it is,

i listen from which side the most sound comes from and then i chose the other side except if it are screams coming from both sides XD

(Nocturne) As you move down the corridor you mind begins to wander, your feet take paths that you dont tell them, and soon you are leaning against a wall facing anouther fork, with no recollection of how you got there

"looks like the spirits are telling me to go somewhere."
i just keep on walking and see where it takes me.

you quickly find your mind wandering again, old guilts flowing back up to the surface, and through it all you now hear a low drum beat, like an old friend calling you back you follow it, your thoughts drift to failed assassinations, your concience acting up,

infront of you a man with half of his face sheared away beckons to you slowly, thoughtlessly you follow, but around you the specters of the dead pull and tug at your clothes hauling you this way and that,
Doom doom, the drum sounds again, you feel your heart rate accelearting you fight and claw desperatly at the specters but they wont let go

you struggle to the old man but you cant, instead you feel the futiliy of it all and you draw your pistol, aiming at the dead, people who you have killed before, but what good would that do?

you sink against a wall, the dead still trying to pull you into the darkness, and you feel the cold metal of your gun barrel against your temple, just end it all....


Then you stumble up against the wall, the weapon clattering on the floor, you look around, the dead are nowhere to be found, something in this fortres is playing with your mind, trying to freak you out, or worse, you look at the gu on the ground, and it nearly succeeded.

I break out of cover and run towards the one on the right, and I use my many years of experience in agility training to dodge the shots coming from it, before kicking it back, and raising my shotgun to blast it's face.

(Shas) The droid recoils from the kick and the shotgun blast desroys its robotic head, the twitching "corpse collapses to the ground, meanwhile you see cruour caalmly executing his opponent after cutting of its legs with one brutal swipe of his combat knife. You remember him slamming the same knife into the metal table and you respect his prodigious strength for a second before the two of you turn on the final droid.

(Nocturne) The drum beats seem to receed as you move over the spot and you notice a lock on the ground. Moving closer you can see a hinged trap door locked and bolted that is surprisingly large, several men could fit abreast in its opening.

"well lets see if it opens."
i walk to it and start pick locking the lock.

(nocturne) you find you dont need to and it snaps easily in your hands, old and worn it had clearly been forgotten

"well thhis spares me some time."
i stand up. walk alittle back. and turn to face the door
"here we go."
"OPEN SESAME!!!!!"
he ran to it and bashes the door open

(shas) The droid clatters to the ground, 15 metres from its legs.

you jump down into the tunnel looking both ways and sigh with relief, one of the tunnel sections is actually a dead end, the strange lighting made the illusion of depth

i walk to the death end and study it.

Nicholas puts his head to Log's ear and whispers

Its nothing fancy... Start fighting with me. We'll give the illusion that you killed me. When its done, hide in the shadows and keep your eyes on me and then let's wait till they make the next move. Sound good?

"Cruor. It is down. Now, we need to move. Pick up anything you need."

(Shas) (seeing as i always seem to miss urs ill do it first)

Cruor nods, taking one of the plasma casters, he looks over the weapon briefly and nods grinning almost ferally, stowing it away on a bandolier ofer his back,

You move over and pick up one of the weapons, it looks like a large tube of plasma coils, witha thinner tube extending out of the end, the weapons handle is designed to be used at the waist and fired in sweeps.

(New weapon, plasma caster now available to all players as pickups and as a weapon for newbies, one more new weapon drop to go in this chapter)

"Nice. Now we have to continue. Let us go."

(Shas) You and cruor move through the brush, ahead of you you can see a great company of sleepers, it makes you gasp, they are all equipped with rippers and there are heavy droids amongst them with powerful weapon systems attachted to arms. You are staggered at the sheer numbers of sleepers, all of them look set on destroying or capturing the city from people, families they cant remember

(Nocturne) the wall ends in a sheer face, several moniters are lining the wall however each is black, which is why you thought they were a longer tunnel, the blackness gives the illusion of depth

(Bringer) log nods to you and without warning decks you to the dirt, you have the good sense to stay there, while he dissapears into the shadows, damn that kid is fast you think

i try to activate the monitors

the monitors flicker dully into life, splutter then go out, the internal batteries of the base are stuffed

(haha, I wasn't quite planning it like that, but that's just as easy )

Nicholas waits, listening carefully.

(bringer) A sick slithering noise slides through your mind as some unholy creature flits through the shadows

"Oh God, we have got to stop this."

i use my bullets for my esb to power it as they are electro charged

as you fire into the power feeds of the monitors one of them flickers into life, it displays a small group of files, several labelled in strange names but one stands out, "The Bringer"

i open it and read it saving it in a memory string.

you dont have time to read the full thing but you notice it as a personel file.

You are distracted by a slithering sound behind you however.

(thats why i put it in a memory string so i can read it again on another time XD)
i draw my gun directly aiming it against the source of the sound

You look down the corridor but something is vieling the thing from your sight

i shoot at it a single bullet. i can see it because of the light emmiting from the trail of the bullet

he bullet hits a wall of smoke that it goes into but otherwise doesnt reveal anything

then i walk to it and check it out.

uh huh,
A massive tail smashes out from the shadows and wraps around you, you grimly notice that the tail is mechanical but covered in a slick oily substance, regardless it has you in a good grip, he tail is thick and well armoured

i smash a blade between 2 armour plates

your weapon screeches and a shower of sparks fly of but other wise you do no damage, the massively thick tail is slowly constricting, and, as of yet, its all you can see

i fire my ripper into the tail and the shadows (i think i can see whats in the shadows because of the power discharge.) then i try to aim for any vital spots in the shadows.

(you cant see vital spots on something youve never encountered dude.)

The plasma rounds hit the tail and sink in, parts of the armour fall of revealing a chain of bullets making up the actual tail, you arnt sure how this thing operates but its tail is a massive frak grenade

(i meant like somethings as gaps in armour or something.)

i use my blade to deactivate the trigger device in the root of the tail.

thats one bullet down... maybe i should explain better, the tail looks like it is composed of rows of bullet belts wrapped around a central core

then take a esb bullet in my hand and crush it for an emp wave

(nice idea) Your fingers rip an esb round apart quickly as you feel one of your ribs sttarting to crack, the shockwave rips through whatever the thing is and it shudders to the floor

"Stealth would be our best ally at this point. Infiltrate, and plant explosives at critical locations, before finishing off the rest after the explosives have gone off. Okay? Let's go."

(shas, good to see you posting, hows the event coming for ur survivor rp?) Cruor nods taking the lead down the slope, several heavy looking explosives appearing in his hand after a brief rummage in his deep pockets

I tell him we need to seperate, and he passes me a few exposives, before we go away from eachother, looking for critical locations...

(Yeah, I haven't started it yet, but I have got quite a few ideas of what I could do )

the thing twitches a bit more then falls still, the smog slowly receedes and you see the sihouette of a massive metallic serpent

i shoot and emp in its head then i try to get the tail so i can use it as a grenade. making multiple rolls of them

(Nocturne) The bullets from the tail appear to be from a weapon that you have onlly heard of, they are short and wide but have a distinct spiral shape, the cases are long and made of the usual brass but are stamped with a strange insignia of a closed eye.

The weapon these bulelts are for is clearly a heavy gauss repeater but you have no idea where you could find one.

the bullets are idea for explosives as the bulletsheads have a small explosive warhead in them, you wince when you realise how close you came to being so much red spray.

Several coils of Bullets later and you have a sizable stack of explosives.

(Shas) Cruor radios you quietly, just as you finish planting, "Im ready Falco, where should we be to make this thing work for us?

I take them all and i get back to the monitor searching for armoury files

you turn to the monitor and see that it has been wrecked in the death throes of the mechanical serpent, a huge gouge runs down the center of the montior bank.

I look to the gauga seeing through it

and you look at a brick wall.....

Ok so there is nothing behind it because then i turn and walk past the serpent

"Set them off, and then we attack and meet up in the center of all of them."

Nicholas kept his hand on his shotgun, and didn't move, half from fear, and half so he could examine the creature before he mutilated it...

(Nocturne) the metallic serpent twitches but you puit it down with a final shot and its eyes explode gently sending a small shower of sparks across the floor.

the darkness parts for you and you see a long corridor with a dorr at the far end.

(Shas) Cruor is silent for a second, you can imagine his grim smile, then a huge explosion rips through the opposite flank of the droid force hundreds of the mettalic warriors are thrown up into the air and there are also screams, sleepers fighting alongside the droids are also killed and their bodies add to the piles.

(Bringer) The shadows seem to advance infront of the thing asit moves forwards, you hear a slight grinding and slicing sound coming from it

"Now! Finish off the rest!"

(Nocturne) The corridor appears empty and the door at the end is closed

(Bringer) The creature recoils as hundreds of razor sharp barbs dig into it, you hear the sounds of metal on metal the a small explosion chain ripples down its back, shrapnel fliying everywhere

i putmy ear on the door and listen for sounds

its as silent as the grave

Open sesame!!! I kick the door in and look for targets

The rooms lights come on and you see rows upon rows of droids, you gun a few down before realising they arnt active hundreds of preconditioned droids.... an entire army... ontop of whats abouve ground

you crane your neck trying to see the back ranks, you see no end to them

I walk ınside and look for moniters

Nick got up and glanced at the creature briefly, but immediately started looking for where it came from, "Log, you come back... what do you think of this machine?"

Log moves forwards, "sorry i have no idea, gaz was the engineer, not me, but it doesnt look like it could have strung the body up"

(nocturne) The room is like a vault, metal walls and concrete floor, a single monitor is close to the door, its currently off

I activate it and search for the destroy self command string

"No, it doesn't look like that to me either. Sadly I'm no technician either... so we aren't much farther."

Nick looks to see where the creature came from. (Was from down the hallway, or from some hidden path?
Also, does this creature have any device on it that could have caused the scratches on the body?)

(nocturne) it boots up happily, apparently this place has its own power source, you search through the lines of code but true to what that sleeper said there is no dels terminate command string, they are incapable of self termination, however you do note a recommand string

(Bringer) You look back from the corridor where the creature came from and you look up for the first time, along the roof there are circular vents, each has a pair of sliding bulk head doors, all of which are opening, metallic clicks and slithering sounds come from the vents.

i recommand them to follow only my command line (my personal line wwhich makes them my personal army because they can only respond to my personal line).
then i search for the gaus rifle in the armoury files.

you search through the files and find the gauss line of equipment, thre are 4 grades of weapon in the line all use the same kind of linear induction bullets but in different calibers, the gauss rifle is a extremely long range high powered sniper rifle which has been known to punch through 3" of tank armour, the gauss repearter fires high velocity shells at a staggering rate but it chews through ammo like no bodies business, the heavy gauss repeater is a larger version of the gauss repeater which has a shoulder mounting for ease of use, this also incorporates an optical targetting array, so where you look it shoots. And the heavy gauss cannon is a over shoulder launcher that fires a single high caliber high velocity shell capable of turning a tank inside out, then it has to be reloaded

ok thats all the weapons in the game that ive come up with so far, have fun kids

i activate the sniper output string and wait for it to come down then i take it take the parts of my old sniper and ritually place it on the gauss one and then i make ammo belts. after that i look for a way to remotly activate the droids when i need them to. (was it ok with the droid army part?)

yeah but i wont let you abuse it

(nocturne) you find that you can only control a handful at a time, no more than 5, to control more would need a larger group of controllers or extensive surjury which you dont have time for, it also occurs to you that your still stuck down here. Luckily for you the heavy gauss repeater uses the same ammo as the gauss rifle, the weapon feels light for what you have seen it do on a picsap but that doesnt bother you, your proof that big things come in small packages.

Ccan i take both the repeater and the sniper?)

youll need to find a decnet amount of ammo but youve already got several weapons youll need to choose 2 pistols one repeater or heavy repeater or heavy launcher and one rifle

Ok then i take the ripper plasma the esb cannon the upgraded gaus rifle and my silenced plasma and my grenades and blades

I search for more ammo of all these things. (MOAR)

rifle and cannon only thing that take ammo, rifle you have plenty, cannon there appears to be none in the base from what i have written down here, and anyway im only letting you get the cannon so you can get out after that youll have to dump it sorry, you mind find anouther one furthur down the track tho...

Ok, before I do anything, are the vents large enough for us? Also, do I hear anything from the already open vent that the first one I killed came from?

I charge in, firing large bursts from my shotgun, bringing swift death to all.

I see one sleeper aiming thier gun at me, and I dive forwards, narrowly escaping 5 rifle shots, before rolling to get up to my feet, and releasing a shot into the sleepers gut. It falls over, slowly, blood pouring from the wound, and some escaping its mouth.

You look around, most of the vile foes have been cut down, but there are a few pockets leeft, which are running back into the forest. When you look around there actually wernt that many to start with, it seems they were using hologram machines to make themselfs look like a bigger force.

Nick starts firing his shotgun blank close to the doors hoping that the electromagnetic pulses can fry the circuitry before they let the little beasties out.

(nocturne) the droids are following you and are equipped with plasma rippers, each can carry one additional weapon however

you manage it on some of them, but soon you have a dead mans click and the majority of the vents have opened, then you see something that chills your blood, youve found what killed the man, dozens of child sized mechanical spiders with razor sharp legs are scuttling towards you and log, who promptly starts firing into the swarm

i look for the monitor if i can make some more weapons possible for my little friends

each has the connection holster for a single heavy weapon, either a Heavy Plasma caster, (the flamer one) or a heavy plasma cannon (the big blasty one)

sorry but you gave me the options so i just took it. i equip 3 with the heavy cannon thingie and 2 with the flamer thingie

i know im starting to regret writing the stats for these things like this

and ok the droids take your preferred weapons

(then i have a solution give them OR heavy weapons and plate armour OR heavy weapons. if they only take weapons they are easier to kill because all the vitals are exposed. just helping you here XD)

log brings out a couple of grenades and chucked them into the press, a couple of dozen of the critters fly into the air with servos hanging out everywhwere

Nick turns and stops, letting (what's left of) the horde get close to him. As soon as they are just feet away from him, he fires his MPP into them, the EMP doing more damage the actual bullets.

lols not quite, the pellets are hyper velocity and can tear through the metal plastic polimer of the droids

the droids are literally shredded

well and now i let them secure the peimiter as i search for an security camera string.

Now that the droids are destroyed, Nick runs back to when he noticed Gaz was missing. He checks for anything that could have been a sliding door or trapdoor - or even shifting rooms.

(Noccy) the cameras in the base have been taken out

(Bringer) you notice a smear of blood on the ground heading to a wall, then suddenly stopping at the foot of it, as if someone had been bleedign heavily and been dragged THROUGH the wall

ahhhh ok, yeah the monitors end up all over the place, but the brick wall still stands, however you notice a slight variation in the brick work close to the hatch where you dropped down

i let the droids scan it on EVERY possibility that i can open or stuff

the droid blasts the wall section with his cannon and the concealed wall smashes inwards

Nicholas rolls away from the spot he was just at while bringing his MPP up, and *fires!!!!!*

The rounds hit the wall as you jerk the weapon up to avoid hitting The Bringer as he walks through the wall the droids weapons back into ready but not threatening positions

"nickolas, i am not a sociol genius but even i know this is not a way to greet a friend."

Nickolas breathed a sigh of relief that he didn't hit him...

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was you... I'm glad I missed."

"Hmmm, seems they are using holograms to scare off people who get too close. As that was too easy. I don't think they ahve much forces."

I walk over to Cruor, keeping my shotgun in hand in case anybody comes out.

"Cruor. Let's inspect this all quickly, then we have to go."

He never gets the chance as an explosion rips out of the gorund nearby and throws you both apart, from the gaping crater where the explosion happened a pair of giant metal legs slowly crep over the edge, then anouther and anouther and anoutehr, and then the massive limbs lift the form of a massive mill droid, powerful and leathal on every surface, out of its tunnel, a pair of heavy plas repeaters mounted on gatling frames begin to accelerate

"Oh gak! Get to cover!" I shout, as I run over to dive behind some cover.

"Cruor, if you can see any launchers, use them!" I order, looking around for one myself.

You are forced to get behind more substantial cover as the gatling cannons (thats what ill call them for simplicity) begin to fire, the weapons release a concentrated stream of plasma rounds that eat away at the ground infront of you and the guns tracking system follows you as you run, the guns swivel however cannot quite catch up as to move any faster would be to loose accuracy

"Keep moving, and get heavy weapons!"

Crour lobs a grenade at the millbot which distracts it for a second as you manage to get into some cover without it noticing where, but now its got crour pinned down
looking frantically around you spot a plasma cannon dropped by one of the droids

I smile, and quietly go to pick it up, before turing around, and firing at the millbot, I scream for Cruor to also shoot it."

Crour gets the message and ducks out rom behind his cover as the first plasma round strikes home against the millbots form

he also has a PC and fires it as fast as its capacitor will allow

the multitude of shots from the two of you obscure the thing in clouds of roiling smoke

but its powerful gatlers keep firing for a few seconds then die of, a menacing clicking sound can be heard form the dissapating smoke cloud and when it clears you can see the weapons being brought back into the Millbots form in favor of a quad of usb repeater gatlers

the millbots body is smoking in places and one of its legs appears to be damaged

(you diddnt think id let you kill it that easy did you?)

"Uh oh."

I fire specifically at it's weapons, in hope to destroy them...

one of your shost clips a weapon mount and the explosin seals the weapon hatch, bu the other three begin to swivel towards you and you can see the gunmounts beginning to whir, cruor takes a shot and destroys anouther mount but then the guns open up

"Move!!!"

I run to avoid the shots, while still firing at them...

I retreat into the wall so rhen the droid passes by i will jump onto it and my droids release hell.

(Uh, I am fighting the millbot nocturne)

(Shas) You manage to knock out anouther gun turret but several of the rounds from the millbot clip your weapon and it shorts out

I examine the chamber.

Cruor yells out an affirmative and proceeds to aim at the leg joins of the thing and cripples a leg. you look around frantically and your foot kicks a grenade, you look at it and then think, it wont damage the outer hull bgut if you can get it into the workings it might take it down

the chamber is long and straight with turn offs every now and then, the swarms of dead droids on the floors obscuring some of the doorways

I use my formation w nic next to me my droids look for every door and if obscurred they will free it and take ready defensive stances to open it.

but otherwise cool,

you guys move though the tunnel systems slowly and cautiously but you dont seem to make any headway, you can see that you have travelled a good distance but the tunnels all look the same

Ready? Because we will make a new door. Doids do it

the droids fire powerfully up at the roof and after a while daylight smacks through, the first any of you have seen for several hours

shall we go nick? i first order an droid to get above to secure the situation then i get onto ground then i take nics hand and pull him up and then i let my other droids get up.

"Cover me, I am getting on it."

I then proceed to jump on it, and climb up it's outer frame, until I get to an exposed area.

"I'm glad we're out of there... but what about Gaz?"

He was with you right as i was on my own the whole time.

"Let's go back and look for Gaz. He disappeared right where that secret door was... and I won't leave him behind in this horror maze."

I will especially not as he is my apprentice where is log. Oh and nick i gave you my trust of watching over my apprentices and you left 1? I will talk to you about this when were safe again

Then we look there first and then we get to the armoury to look for some better equipement. And maybe i can use some enhancements upon myself for some more friends

(Noccy, Bringer)you move quickly back to the area and you look around, Nic spots them first, the vents in the ceiling like the ones in the rest of the tunnels

It takes some work but eventually you get abouve the other gun turret, the last remaining point you can see that might be vulnerable, "Lights out big fella" you flick the greande into the myraid ammo belts and electrilcal equipment

I order a doid to go first. Into them. And then i go followed by log then nic and then droids

it takes a while to get into the vent systems and the droid has to blow them a little bigger to start with but eventually you all end up in what seems to be a massive venting system

"When I was out there with Log, little robotic creatures attacked us, coming from the vents... let's be careful up there."

Nick jumps up and climbs inside the system.

Before the exposion, I jump off, in a dramatic cliche sort of way.

"Get ready for the fireworks, Cruor."

(the group) The bringer looks a bit worried but follows you

(Shas), the millbot explodes in a suitably spectacular fasion

You guide us ok

Nic nods and begins to move through the cramped piping

yep

yeah you did and your leading, you can rp ur route, i have no interest in trying to guide you through a series of identical tunnels, well all get confused

Nick reloads his shotgun and precedes to go and follow the blood trail as best he can - all the while keeping his senses on edge for the swarms of droids.

on edge isnt nessecary, you har them behind you before long, scuttling along, you realise that the tunnels are too thin to turn around in, the only way is forwards.

I send one droid forward (one with a flamer.) To scout

(he cant get past bringer in the shaft, the tunnels are to thin)

kk, you speed through the vents, the droid at the rear occasionally firing of a gout, and then all of a sudden he lets rip, the plasma flamer melts the tunnel behind you and the backwash of heat forces the group the last few feet into the light, you emerge in a massive round room in its center is Gaz, lashed to a surgical table with droids bending over him

I give a command string to let them stop. If they refuse i let my droids do it

the droids ignore you and your droids gun them down, but jsut after that happens, a whirring sound comes from above, preceeded by mettalic clicks

I look above me and i let one of my droids get gaz from that table after i examined his state.

it doesnt get the chance at it is mown down by gatling ripper fire. The other droids pound fire up at the massive shape in the cieling but it moves fast, scuttling over the roof, two sinister red lights can be seen winking in the darkness which the droids aim for, however threee more sets of eyes appear, and the whirring becomes deafening

I take my sniper and activate the darkness vision

your weapon penetrates the darkness and you see a quad of 4 legged spider bots with a gatling ripper mounted on each

I run to Gaz and pick him up if he seems unable to walk by himself.

"Bringer we don't need to fight this! Can have your droids put a hole in this floor?!"

the droids at the cieling begin to rain plasma fire down on the party

Crap, I go under whatever cover this lab had to offer and start firing back with my MPP.

the droids seem to ignore the shooting as it pings of semi translucent plasma shields, the plasma fire continues to eat up the ground of the lab

(The group) Your shots all seem to melt into the plasma shields, one of them seems to be flickering however

I order an allout salvo from my droids and then i shoot in the most weak spot

one of the roof dropids c urls up and explodes after a plasma shot finally gets through, however the other droids retaliate and gun down three of your droids

What kind of condition is Gaz in? Is he conscious and able to walk?

nope he is unconcious and bleeding from several smalll chest wounds clearly made by surgical instruments

I let them be and run w nic gaz and log to cover still trying to pick off targets

anouther roof droid falls and you take a hit to the left shoulder which incapacitates ur arm, but you slide into cover with gaz log and nic

God fething damn** i try to stop the bleeding.

If this is any kind of laser or plasma weaponry it usually cauterizes the wound after the damage is done.

"Do you want to make a dash for the ventilation system or put a hole in this floor?"

I say the vents. How smaller how better.

Okay, so I guess we make a dash for the vents while holding Gaz between us.

I cover you by staying behind and shoot at them "go now i will be right with you."

*the wound is already cauterised*

Nickolas props Gaz up and runs for the vent system, holding him as best he can in the tight space.

hes with you, gaz has completely dissapeared from the rp but log is still floating around so im keeping his char alive and intact for if he wants to keep playing.

Nic gets to the vent system, just.

the hail of shots that bore into it rip it from the cieling of the room below and he and nic crashdown onto the floor of a long corridor,

above the bringer picks the last droids of by firing bursts from the plasma cannon dropped by one of his droids, then he drops down beside you, log and his last droid appear a moment later.

"well that was fun. and im a fairy." i say sarcastic.

you get up and look around but the corridor is pretty much the same as all the other ones youve been in, except that this one has coloured lines on the floor, similar to what you would see in an airport or hospital

Well this is interrexting. I stop for a second and after that i rush further

followed by log nic and your droid you and the group head deeper into the tunnel, nic log absent mindedly blasting a hole int he wall every dozen or so feet and counting them of as a way to find your way back

log looks at you with a bit of fear in his eyes, "You want to get lost down here big man?"

yes thats why we needed to get back into the vent system that was the way we knew! i kinda begin to maniaccaly laugh. (the drug system an assasin has is kinda overloading)

IR so confused, surely it isn't this difficult to get back to where we started? We simply follow the blood trail we used to get there in the first place XP

(u dont have that thing cause ur not an assasin so doesnt have log and gaz have one)

you look at Logs gps and it tells you that (and by some miracle its working) you are about 300 metres of the main walls of the city. and your only about 15 metres below ground.

i begin to laugh"OH my i think we are going to have a little fun" i almost growl. i start to run with my knives in hands and slice against the walls making a shrieking sounds. this is with the purpose of sharpening them to the point that it can slice through the walls XD) with the drug system overloading my droid deactivates as i just transform into an lethal killer. my muscles begin to grow. and my mask makes an almost unnoticable transformation it gained fangs. it looked like the drug system held back the killer inside the assasin but now that the drugs system overloading it instead pushes stimulants in my blood stream not resistants.

*raises eyebrow*

Log watches him go and turns to Nic, "Should we let him go?"


(noccy) your systems seem to be on fire, your skin, your muscles, everything feels like its burning. and to all intents and purposes it is, this level of steroids and endomorphines are simply not designed to be held in one body.

Your vision flows and swims as if you wer looking at the world through an inverted telescope filled with water. Distances become distorted and your ears begin to ring. Your body slumpws against the side of the wall. Your lungs pumping your mouth opening and closing gasping for a breath that your shattered senses cant feel you taking in. You begin to hyperventilate and then you black out.

When i a? In this black out state i feel my body changing to the dosis. My muscles are getting so big it just breaks through my clothes and some of my weapons are unusable cause im getting this big. And then one idea gets up in my head. -what if this is all planned? What if someone murdered the clan to find the perfect candidate for this experiment? An killer frenzied monster with no emotions?- and after that i only feel angry. I cant think straight anymore except to kill and destroy. The experiment is starting.

Log and nic back down the corridor, the man infront of them changing into a beast.

I hear footsteps. And my immediate senses respond raising my arms to get me on my feet then i draw my weapons.

You try you really do, but you body just cant take the strain, your muscles are powerful but ill developed and they hinder each other with their mass, additionally you arnt used to them and that hampers you
