This Gobbo was a very tricky customer to deal with and objected strongly to the first two paint jobs I tried, but the third time was the charm and I'm very happy with the Space 1999 feel of the final result (remember kids just because cool Goblins smoke doesn't mean you should) Annibal the Orrible returning home from a hard day's work plundering and looting shows of Moonbase Alpha's new range of space suits GA09 Mark Cragg's Spacer Goblin

just in from facebook The mould box for Philip Hynes' brilliant Goblin bust being made from lego today at Ainsty Castings. There will only be 20 of these cast... number 1 will go to Kev and number 2 will go off for painting, The remaining 18 will be sold for GoblinAid it's brilliant that this will be cast, but I fear that with a limited edition of 18 I won't be able to afford one (bad for me, but good for Goblinaid & Kev as it will pull in more cash) Automatically Appended Next Post: The toughest case of his career, Shady Shovel works on the case of the Maltese Trousers. No decision has been made my guess is at least a couple of months after the final set of figures go on sale (probably in the next week or two) but I guess it'll depend in part on how much time and effort Paul at RPE feels he's able to put in since he's not being paid for it (so if they're still selling, and Kev still need support and Paul feels he's got the time and energy to spare they might be around longer) I'm sure they'll give an official warning on the Goblinaid facebook page before they stop ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Goblinaid/582169528462833?fref=ts) and I'll keep this thread updated too

Goblinaid From the legendary Bryan Ansell: "We (at Foundry) are organising ourselves to get another Goblinaid pack together. No Kevin self portrait model in this one though. Instead, we might put a group of the really tiny snortlings in with each selection of Kevinish this and that. We will decide when we discover what moulds we have left. We will do our best to provide a significantly different mix than we have in the Kevin packs. We can't promise that you will not get a duplicate. But we will do our best: our memories of which models went in last time may be unreliable. I am sure you will find it in your hearts to forgive us any slips! It may take a while for us to organise actual blisters and get them up on our website. We are a man or two short at Foundry (see vacancy add on our site). However, we are happy to sell you a Kevinless pack RIGHT NOW! SO: just stay sat right where you are at your computer - go to www.wargamesfoundry.com - find the Goblinaid page - AND BUY THE EXISTING GOBLINAID PACK! - Put a note on your order that you actually wanted the new Kevinless pack, and that is what we will send you." So kiddies and kiddesses go here http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/our-ranges/goblinaid This is the old pack (still available, go on get one if you've not already), you get Kev + 5 or so random snorklings, not all pictured If you have one already order it any way but during the order process there's a comments box... write in "Please send me the new Kevinless pack" or wait till the get a photo up but this may take a while as they are snowed under with phone calls at them moment

If not I'd email RPE just to check what's going on
otherwise I'd guess wait a bit more (I believe US customs was not operating normally during the sequestration and they were concentrating on perishables like food so it could have been slowed down by that)

Ancient proverbs tell of a powerful Goblin, son of the earth and the sky who stole the sacred cricket bat from the palace of the Dragon King of the ICC Born from an egg on a mountain top The punkiest goblin that ever popped He knew every magic trick under the sun To tease the Gods And everyone and have some fun Goblin magic, Goblin magic (repeat 4 times) What a cocky saucy goblin this one is All the Gods were angered And they punished him Until he was saved by a kindly priest And that was the start Of their pilgrimage west Goblin magic, Goblin magic (repeat 4 times) With a little bit of goblin magic There'll be fireworks tonight With a little bit of goblin magic Every thing will be all right Born from an egg on a mountain top The punkiest goblin that ever popped He knew every magic trick under the sun To tease the Gods And everyone and have some fun Goblin magic, Goblin magic (repeat 4 times) (and yes this is slightly modified from Godiego's Monkey Magic) This may make sense after the paint has dried on the latest Goblinaid mini on my painting table

Tim Daniel Jonker via Goblinaid on facebook
Hi all,
Tim here. Kev has asked me to post this on his behalf;
i would like to thank everybody who have helped me over the last few months , many i don't even know so its really touched me how kind people can be.
I'm not a social media person so thats why I've not been communicating but its been a busy year with decorating plus hospital visits etc so thats another reason no ones heard from me
I'm making models again and am back in the groove and having fun , my eye gets dry still but I've yet to have plastic surgery which should raise the lower lid .
my operation was a cancelled due to having a toothache and ive still got to wait weeks before i can contact the hospital
i'm enjoying making models again and have missed my work but its been nice being able to decorate the house and get jobs done that i don't normally find time for.
i'm going to be extremely busy this side of xmas so won't be answering emails until i get a break from working because at the moment ive got lots to do so i don't have much free time .
Kev
Kev also sent me this pic to share!
It's really good to hear he's working again, although he's still got extra surgery to come (shudder)

More very welcome news of Kev via Gobinaid on facebook
Yarrr!
Kev sent an update once more plus pic!
Have been in touch with QMC and my plastic surgery will be in January sometime , once this has happened i will have an eye patch for several weeks and won't be able to work but i'm hoping it will be fixed because currently i get discomfort after working for so long but my visions ok.
I'm really busy now and fully back into making models and am happy.
I feel awful because I've not been communicating much but its been a busy year because of all the DIY and I've not had time for much else .
Because i'm not a Facebook member , I've not had much access to the site but all the sculpts I've seen look fantastic and i really appreciate everybody's kindness and would like to thank you all .
I rarely have time for forums or Facebook , emails take enough time so i'm not being unsociable , just very busy most of the time .
kev.
So good news! Kev is already getting back into his A game judging on some of the sculpts he showed me and can only get better once this all is over!
Cheers,
Tim
it's great to hear he's finally got a date for his plastic surgery, and to have him confirm he's enjoying sculpting again

Happy New Year, Goblinaiders
We (Fenris) are only just back in the workshop after an extended cthxmas break and obviously there's a hell of a lot to be catching up with. I've got lots of GA greens, unique kev sculpty bits, and painted minis for auctioning as soon as I get the chance. Make sure to keep an eye on this page for details and links.
Meanwhile here's one of the painted sets, from Midlam Miniatures, sculpted by Kev and painted by Paul Sanderson. These will be up for auction on eBay sometime later this week, with luck

He is here to judge you naughty or nice! Prepare for judgement " and finally my latest (Christmas sort of broke my rhythm, but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things) Old 'No Hand Stump Leg' finally passed away as he had lived, surrounded by other peoples property. Goblin cricket, like human cricket, but with more blood, and screaming, and none of those rubbish white uniforms (GA16 Tim Prow's goblin headhunter for goblinaid) Remember today is your FINAL CHANCE to order these minis http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/goblinaid-c-123.html

Well done Trodax, I hope you enjoy your mini horde when they arrive
(I'm now painting out of production minis instead of preserving them mint in bag, the horror I wonder if I can finsh the set by the end of the year? )
It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it... Goblin settlements are over run with diseased rats that breed in the squalor and waste, perfect for a snack on the march with the horde (GA41 Elye Alexander's rat catcher for Goblinaid, with a rat from my bits box to jazz up the base)

I feel the need, the need for speed screams the green faced boggle eyed loon (GA24 John Pickford's Green Baron for Goblinaid), base from Fenris Games

Kev has been sent a big box with all of the gobinaid minis in.....
From Facebook
RPE Miniatures and Games
A message from Kev Adams after receiving his box of goblinaid minis...
"Hi Paul
Ive just opened the box and had a look at all those lovely models and it put a big smile on my face and cheered me up
They are really well produced and they ooze with character and make me want to start painting again.
Loads of humour and inspiration in that box and its great to see what ideas for goblins other people can come up with , many of them inspire me and i can see future goblins being inspired by all of them in ways , not only that but looking at them is a humbling experience and shows me that ive still got lots to learn where making models is concerned , theres some real talent here and i would like to send my best wishes to all these people and hope they all achieve their goals .
I just wish i had the time to sit down and paint them all but i have lots of work to do and making models takes up most of my time .
Seeing all of these makes me want to make lots more goblins although i have other things to learn and new ranges to tackle .
I'm thankful my eye has recovered enough for me to continue "

Since the selling phase of the project is over (although I suspect there will be a few more ebay auctions) I'm going to ask the MODs to lock this thread now
Many thanks to all of you who have looked, commented and supported Kev through donations or purchase of minis
If you want to see the rest of the goblinaid range painted up I'll carry on posting pictures in my P&M blog as I'm determined to complete them all
