So many awesome monsters!
@Januine: Fantastic diorama! Love the details like the posters. I am impressed what you accomplished within a month!
@rollawaystone: That... ...thing... ...is really scary! I really like the color scheme! Many tyranids look a bit cartoonish, not so with yours. Well done!
@Paradigm: Thanks for putting this together! I have a feeling my painting skills have improved exponentially the past two months, probably for focusing on single minis as opposed to painting armies.
It's been a busy month for me, but today I finally got my wife and kid out of the house so I could paint and I have painted frantically for some six hours or so. In the end my Nurgle Lord isn't quite finished, but I did what I set out to do and I am extremely happy with the parts that are finished so I submit it as it is. There were two things I wanted to try out this month. First
OSL. Never really did that and the nurgling flamethrower seemed to be a perfect place to start. Secondly to paint more complex skintones and what better than a big fleshy nurgle lord?
To accomplish this, another first. I got myself a Privateer Press wet palette. I could never have done this months paintjob without it! Not quite as good as the adverticement, but you sure extend the working time of blended paint.
