We figured it was about time we started a regular thread, keeping you updated with our new releases and what we have been up to.
First a short intro;
Anarchy Models is a small home based business based in Aldershot in the UK. Our services include resin casting and molding, painting commissions and tuition, sales of our own wargaming related products (resin scenery, conversion bits, bases and basing materials) and sales of Iwata Airbrushing Equipment.
Now, onto the new releases!
First up with our Tinnelon Pattern tank turret conversion kit.
This kit has many uses, and comes with 2 different gun options, a short siege gun, and a long cannon (this can be cut shorter if needed for a different look). Also included are assorted adapters so it will fit different tanks.
Its cast solid, and has a nice weight to it ( the wieght is a sign of reliability )
.
.
Here it is in our webshop; http://www.anarchymodels.co.uk/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=12&Itemid=1 .
Also, we have something for you 15mm WW2 fans, Dragons Teeth tank traps, and Dragons Teeth Gate
Orinoco wrote: nice turret. crystals are ace. any chance on doing larger ones like the armorcast ones?
there are some larger ones on our site in case you missed those.
if you mean much larger ones, i had thought of it, but was unsure how large to go and if people would need them and be willing to pay the much higher price for them.
if you have a particular need for something, PM me with the kind of sizes you would like, colours and roughly how many, and i'll look into it.
Empchild wrote: Awww man i actually liked the turret till i saw it on that. Its to big and overbearing :(.
I have to agree, the Russ really isnt the platform for that turret, it would look better shown on a battlewagon or possibly a Baneblade, i like the turret and the idea but i think it needs some more detailing on the flat side panels, given some extra plates with smaller rivets it would tie in much better to the "imperial" style of the Russ though would still be over sized, or with some rag tag jagged plates it would Ork up quite nicely too, at the moment its kinda in between.
the casts of the barrel bits looks very good, this seems to be an area that a few companies struggle with, how have you managed to keep them so straight without them curving off?
Hey guys for the last day of our 20% off sale, i thought we might have a little competition too
The competition is to help name our "Tank Turret Kit"
when we first started doing conversion bits, we only had 1 turret, so it wasnt an issue that it did not have a unique name, now we are making 2 turrets, and have 2 more on the way, so to help stop any confusion, i think its needs a proper name!
SO, you guys come up with a cool name, and the winner (as judged by Anarchy Models) will get a FREE "Tank Turret Kit"
so get your thinking caps on
here is a pic of the turret you are naming and the prize (though you get an un-painted one);
Some of you like me may think the tinnerton turret looks better on a chimera chassis.
Photo for reference,
Having 4 of the turrets I can vouch for how good the casting is and it is totally worth the money. I love them and hopefully will be buying a couple more soon.
Well the our End of Year sale is over now, thanks to all who participated, we hope you enjoy your purchases
Looking great Howie it does look pretty cool on a chimera.
and thanks for the kind words on our products, its always wonderful to know when customers are happy
Some cool name ideas so far, keep them coming, and we will pick a winner soon.
well the naming our smaller Tank Turret competition is still running, so far there are some good ideas, but nothing that i think is a winner.
Feel free to keep adding ideas even if you have already entered.
.
Anyway, as promised, here is some new releases for you
Our Hazmat Conversion heads, all come with 10 per kit, and we have 3 types, all featuring Gas mask / Re-breather hoods.
Its gotta be the commando heads all the way for me!
Dammit though, now have to think of a way to include them in my army. The ranger heads look good too, maybe they could be used for traitor guards or such like.
The hazmat infantry heads are nice enough, not a fan of the helmet, but the rebreather looks like it could take some sort of breathing hose connected to an oxygen tank which would be pretty cool
I just wanted to chime in and say I received my 2 Tinnelon Pattern tank turrets in a very timely manner. But the thing I'm really impressed with is how freaking clean all the bits are! Seriously no/minor clean up. And the way you designed the barrels makes for an easy magnet/switch job if I decide to switch to Demolishers! Looking forward to more great things to come!

Always great to hear from happy customers
we do strive for great quality, so its good to know people notice.
As for more things to come, we have a set of masters finished, just need to get them into molds to make more masters for production molds.
so pretty close, couple weeks maybe. once they are nearly ready to release i might put some sneak preview pics on here
We have been super busy working on new stuff, so over the next few days i will post some wip's before the realeases.
first off, an early WIP of a new Turret.
This one is of a size between our 2 existing turrets, so should be more to the liking of those who dont like the larger style of the Tinnelon.
Panzer 4 for sure, yeah looks good to me. Put my discount code to good use and got me a tinnelon turret the other week for the ragnarok i'm scratchbuilding. Its a beast of a turret and i love it! Its such a clean sculpt too, no flash to clean off which is good, very pleased with it and all the kit components, thanks Anarchy!

Thank you for entering
And thanks for the praise, as mentioned before, a quality product is our aim, and we do make efforts (which costs us time and money) to keep clean-up to a bare minimum, so it makes us happy that people notice
Anyway, as several have spotted ( lets face it, it wasnt hard ) its based on a panzer 3/4 turret
Here is my next WIP on the turret, unfortunatly i got carried away making it and didnt take any pics between the last pic and this, so its alot further along now.
I think the stubber switcheroo must be because the gun mount is separate and can be orientated so the co-ax weapon is on the left or right - just a matter of which way up you slot it in.
The only thing I don't like is that plain block where the main gun plugs in the turret - looks like it's either too big or missing some detailing. otherwise great.
I like!
Just curious, is there a reason the turret stubber switched sides with the different main guns?
I was wondering if someone would comment on that, heh.
Vikingchild is partially correct,It is a seperate piece,.
BUT, there is an actual REASON for the gun changing sides.
You can model it with a raised or level barrel, which is decided but which way up you mount the manlet, a by product of which is the gun swaps sides
.
George Spiggott wrote:Very nice. It could do with a turret basket that can be mounted to the rear and possibly some spaced armour as an add on.
I wonder what it looks like mounted on one of those tank kits GW make.
It is already quite large without a turret basket, so i decided to leave it off, as some people did not like our tinnelon turret because of its size (personally i love it, heh)
At some point we may well do another version, with a turret basket and different guns etc, but we are talking several months away at least, lots of other things ahead in the que
I expect it would look rather cool on any tank you chose to use it on .
Clang wrote:The only thing I don't like is that plain block where the main gun plugs in the turret - looks like it's either too big or missing some detailing. otherwise great.
in real life it does not look so large, remember these pics are double size
.
cheers, for all the support guys, i expect they will be up on our site in the next week or so.
well the new P4 turret is almost ready to go, should have enough made to launch in the next few days.
i was wondering if i should take pre-orders on them, good idea?
.
anyway, to wet your appetite before their release, thought i'd give you a peek at one of our next new items, which is also going to be ready very soon.
Clang wrote: We think we like it. I presume you'll be padding a hole in the end of the barrel?
Unfortunatly not, for 2 reasons, the masters were printed barrel side down, which means the end of the barrel has to be cleaned up, and detial there would hinder that
secondly, the master material, although fantastic detail is very brittle, and would tend to chip or crack if drilled.
Anyway, mainly to see how many we should cast for the release next week, we have decided to do a pre-order for our new Turret
I agree with Viktor von Domm there, any chance we could get these in heroic human scale? They look too good to be given to a bunch of orks to manhandle! Love that HMG, if it wasn't too oversized for my guardsmen i'd maybe get one or two anyway
Viktor von Domm wrote:nice looking guns... any chance you will make them fitting for standard heroic humans? broomhandle and the MG and the MP do look very cool!
VikingChild wrote:Hot damn! Very nice indeed.

Thanks guys
Heroic Human ones you say.......
Well, i was going to talk about that in a couple weeks, but as you have asked me directly...
YES human ones are on the way, the luger, mauser and mp40 will be first, in around 3 weeks, they are shrunk versions of those above, BUT, the details (rivets etc) were then made larger as they were too small otherwise.
The MG42 will be coming at some point, but that one didnt work with a direct scale down (mainly the barrel was too short), and will need some design work, and also i wanted to make bits to make them twin, and maybe even quad.
I'll give an eta when i know it, but at least a couple months i think.
HOWEVER, it has just dawned on me that the MG would work great as a human Automatic Cannon with a little converting, simply remove the pistol grip and replace with a smaller one, and cut the stock smaller
Clang wrote: Like it lots. My only concern is finding pairs of arms to fit it - or has it been scaled to fit certain existing arms?
Sorry for the late reply, for some reason i have not been getting notifications that i have had replies.
they are 28mm heroic scale, so should work with the arms of many existing models.
Arms etc are something we would like to do in the future, but need to get some money back from these before we can look at it (the masters for these were FAR from cheap)
anyway, so after some issues with the first mold, we hope to have the human guns out soon.
Here is the Mauser.
I finally have something new to show you.
Sorry its taken a while, but i have been crazy busy with casting and painting commissions, which were slowed a bit by the heatwave in the UK.
So i present to you the Tinnelon Pattern Tank Hull
Its intended for use with out tinnelon turret (as shown in the pic) but its compatible with all Anarchy Models Turrets.
Barzam wrote: That looks rather Tiger-like. I like it a lot. What tracks would you recommend using with it? Do you have some planned for it?
some people i have sold them too are planning on russ tracks, others chimera ones.
i AM doing tracks, they have just been delayed. iv;e had enough interest in just the hulls that i decided to get on and release them as they are done, and release the tracks when they are ready.
the plan is to do a whole range of hulls, turrets and motive systems that are all interchangeable so people can make things how they like.
howie wrote: Are there any pictures floating around with chimera tracks?
Kind Regards,
Howie.
I'll see what i can do.
In the meantime;

Would this by any chance include hulls/turrets/stuff for artillery or IFV vehicles? Say perhaps, a replacement for a chimera or basilisk?
The future of my Guard army depends on this.
*Edit* I should also add that I love the Tinnelon pattern stuff. I would love a Tinnelon pattern everything.
Hey.
Yes, hulls/turrets/motive units/stuff for artillery, IFV vehicles and battle tanks, maybe even utility vehicles.
You can then of course use them as you see fit
The first set of tracks if one of the next things to do once I have the kickstarter shipped, so not too long now. if I remember, I will try and post WiP pics here.
Got my stencils today, look and smell fabulous everything looks in order plus a surfeit of extra oddities. Hopefully get a chance to try these out at the weekend. Great job and thanks a lot!
