You have my condolences, recently went through a similar thing. It was my mother's cousin, but they were close so he was more like an uncle. Hadn't seen him much since his two strokes, he didn't seem to want anyone to see him that way and then finally his heart problems caught up. Sadly his life seemed to fall apart towards the end... But, it's best to not remember the bad parts and focus on the good.

I had something like that. I grabbed 1 of the year below who were there by complusary timetable, and wasn't doing nothing. After about 10 reps at 66kg (the weight of my sparing partner in my judo class) my bad knee buckled and I ended up trapped in a crouch. The bugger just stood there asking what to do. Eventually some friends helps me up
