Hey Guys we need your help to bring the fantasy to the world of Hymukai!
This is the new Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for Kensei to create a great set of miniatures inspired in creatures from japanese mythology. We would like to create as many Fantasy Japanese creatures as we can. These miniatures would be used in Kensei Miniature Wargame, but they could also be used in roleplaying games or for artistic painting.
Our friend Adam Ferrando is creating the creature designs for this project, so you can have a new way to look at this fantasy creatures. We are also working in the Kensei rules for every creature or character included in this campaing.
We hope you like this campaign and that you help us reach our goals by sharing it with your friends and choosing one of our Perks.

This looks cool I’ve been looking at Kensai for awhile now this might be my excuse to get involved…
A few suggestions for the crowd funder.
Show a few bigger picture of the models… not everyone looking at this knows or will search it out. Show us your models up close.
Let us see the other Yokai concepts… the black silhouette is ok but if the art is done show it… people might be more ready to put money down if they knew they wanted the Death Yokai.
Post a video of game play… let us see how good the game plays… show us PVP action and how the new monsters will fit in…
Why isn’t this on Kickstarter? I think people are scared a bit to buy for indigogo… don’t they charge right away from your card?
I want this to take off… be very cool Japanese fantasy is never addressed in wargaming. Just not sure what I will buy…
1. I have a few questions… on the monsters when you get X2 models are they the exact same? Please please say no…
2. With the Rol pack, is the models show the exact model you’ll get… I know the character models but say ninja or sohei are they the exact models or random from the sets?
I see the campaign says the figures will be done in metal, but have some been done in plastic or resin? This figure looks translucent.

In the past our minis will be in resin, but after talk with Corvus Belli (infinity) and go to they factory for some weeks, we change our idea and all our models are in metal. Corvus belli teach us how to work it!.

To make a Kickstarter you should be an USA/Uk company, and have an Usa/Uk bank acount, that be 2 of the reasons cause we can´t do this campaing on kickstarter I want this to take off… be very cool Japanese fantasy is never addressed in wargaming. Just not sure what I will buy…

I'm not sure about a perk for the Indigogo, but being able to buy the creatures separately may well be useful. I want a number of the shikome to use as 'counts-as' razorwings for my Dark Eldar.

If you want the exclusive hero you only have to take your perk before 14 April!
For one pack of creatures, you can take the creature pack (65€), that gives to you, the criature pack at choose (if we can make all), and all the rewards, so if you take it now, you will have:
Creature pack A + Taisho exsclusive model + Bakeneko girl (that will be soon available) + rewards (if we get 5.000 you will have Date Masamunme, if we get 10.000 you will have date masamune and the new kensei...)

I would ideally drop my Perk to Hero and get an extra creature pack. Kickstarter allows you to adjust your pledge, but Indiegogo apparently doesn't.

Alright, since I really love oriental miniatures, I'm in at Fantasy God level. Hope there's a pledge manager eventually, since I want all the creature and Omnyouji packs.

Now that I've thought it over, I think I'll leave my pledge and perks as they are, and pick up the monsters I want when they are released to retail. I would like to support this game locally, and buying the minis through a shop here would be better, I think.
I'm not a back just due to having too many models already, but I wanted to congratulate Kensei! Your models look fantastic and as someone not familiar with Japanese creatures or mythology these are very interesting!

Congratulations for a succesful campaign guys! I don't have much money now so I've only been able to pledge for the 25€ perk. You have managed to get funded many great minis, and still have 34 days. Hopefully I'll be able to increase my pledge before the campaign ends
I pledged for the Fantasy God level, but with the Kami level out, how do I pledge for it? Can I just select the new perk and pay the balance - will Indiegogo let me do that?
You'll need to contact the project creator on how to handle it
(I guess they will let you pay the difference, but they might go for a refund and re-pledge instead, it will probably depend how which works best for their post KS book keeping)

Do you mean as a pledge level in this crowfunding campaign?
Are you aware of this? 45€ and extra miniature rewards (right now Taisho (if you pledge before April 15th), Date Masamune, alternate campaign exclusive Kensei and Shugenja. And starting April 15th Bakeneko (a new miniature reward. Included in all pledges done before 15th too, that is Taisho and Bakeneko for early backers and only Bakeneko for backers after April 14th )) .
Otherwise, cavalry as a release will be added to the range soon. But, of course, not at these prices. Also the mounted Daimyo will take some more time to be released, so now it's the chance to get an early copy of him in this crowfunding campaign.
Anyway, here's the recently unlocked Shugenja, added for free to any pledge level. Keep on pledging and tell your friends about this indiegogo campaign. At 20k another extra free miniature will be unlocked.

You can pledge for the diference, and make a private comment. In this private comment, you should tell the perk that you have now, and the pledge that you want. And pledge th difference

The miniatures look extremely small (are they even 25 mm scale?) - and that has held me back from pledging more (I'm still only at Fantasy God level - to get me some creatures).
Could someone please post an image with Kensei human infantry miniatures side by side with comparable miniatures from other Samurai ranges (Perry, Dixon, AEG, ... or similar)?
If the infantry and cavalry are scaled to fit with my other samurai I might go all in ("COLLECTOR´S PERK" or more).

Fear not. They have such a scale that they fit well with many Samurai ranges and even Warhammer.
Hell creatures pack II unlocked and Geisha miniature reward added for free to all pledgers' perks. Now it's time to raise another 10k in order to unlock the new faction, the Otokodate.
Concept of one of their units, the ronin.
A classical one that makes me wonder how no one has sculpted something like that yet.
Just as a reminder, tomorrow is the last day to get an exclusive Bakeneko miniature added for free with each prk you pledged for. So if you're interested in getting your hands on that miniature then make sure to make your pledge between before May 1th.

Shikome miniatures from the Infernal Pack finished
That finishes the whole Infernal Pack (1 Jorôgumo (spiderwoman), 1 Oni, 2 Shikome, 3 Amanojaku).
A pack which needs an Infernal Onmyôji to work with. Finally we can also see the painted miniature of that sculpt. Simply put, austondishing.
And finally, a few detailed close ups of the promotional bonus miniatue of the sensei, added for free with each perk you pledge for.
There's no doubt of the high quality miniatures set being produced with this indiegogo campaign. So those of you that still were on the fence, wondering if the promised sculpts could live up to the concepts shown, fear not and pledge for your set of miniatures now.

The shikomes will have 2 heads, cause the community didn´t like the firfst heads, so you can choose the head that you love more !

This is probably a foolish question, but i can't find the answer on the page. I decided to back this project at 'Kami' level to get a bunch of creatures for the fantasy Japan collection I have going.
I'd like to get the 'bakeneko' figure too. Was this a free add-on for backing before a certain time? I've not heard of a time-based reward on a crowdfunding project.
If getting the bakeneko is an option, can I tack on an extra 15 euro to my pledge? There doesn't seem to be an easy way to do this on Indiegogo.

The bakeneko was free for the early backers. But if you aren´t a early backer and you want it too, you can pledge by 15 € to get it.
You can make an extra to your pledge making a new "pledge" and selecting the amount of money that you want to pledge.
Another question: Do I understand you right that if you pledge a certain level, you can buy all single models from the sets for the price of "human sized model" etc, as specified in the questionnaire send after the kickstarter?

If you make a pledge (any pledge), you can get model making a pledge for get "add-ons", so you can take all the models that you want.
