@El Vik: I hope so They will have Arquebuses (Or Arquelases in that case? ), an earlier version of muskets, but oh well, not a big difference anyway.
@Dr H: Thanks, pal! Happy holidays to you as well.
As for the updates... Me lazily polish, sculpt and pait stuff and almost finished the Sewers - only the water effect left to be applied and it takes a lot of drying time =/ So, pics will be few days later. But here's a little teaser for you guys:
Well this is an approach I did not see coming will these have a sci-fi aspect to them as well then ?
I think this could be a very cool project with some very alternative miniatures, cant wait to see the next updates not sure on the heads at the moment though
Also what water medium are you using ? Did you add colour to it as it looks quite dark.
Happy new year and lets hope it will be a prosperous one
@LDD:
Well, it's still a very basic sculpt. The details can change the overall feel drastically... And I'm surely aiming for Sci Fi-esque look.
Why, I like this head. It's my favorite one
I'm using Vallejo Still Water 26230, mixed with washes. With Devlan Mud for this particular layer.
The overall expirience with this Vallejo Still Water 26230 turned into a disaster - this stuff manage to destroy the paint and even the primer.
I believe this happened due to it's super stickiness and the ability to shrink heavily after drying: when you apply a fairly thick layer it sticks to the paint hard and then the shrinkage rips off the paint from the surface.
I've applied it in a very thin layers, but not thin enough as it appeared. So, my friends, do not ever place more then a one millimeter thick per layer of this Water or you risk to end up like me - redoing the whole part of diorama anew!
Here you can see clearly what happened to the paint:
And that's what I've got after cleaning the mess (with a bit of rectifications already):
All this sadness aside, I've finished the sewer plinth for the Turtle, yet I'm still struggling to make some decent shots, so the update on that matter will be a bit later.
But of course I can't leave you here with nothing but my whining, so here goes a little update on The Pillagers project:
The gun is in a very WIP state as well as the guy himself and there are a lot of work to be done, but I guess it's worth showing nonetheless
OOOOOOOooooooo thats nasty although looking at how it pulled the paint of it kind of looks like scum build up falling away, but as you're a bit of a perfectionist I see why you stripped it back which is a real dam shame
Now down to the miniature I like the route this is heading and can see some great conversion potential as well, the legs have some really nice detail especially the feet and lower leg section.
Will the head be wearing some kind of mask or is that just the early form ? Either way looks great so far and cant wait to see it progress and glad your back.
@LDD:
Aye, the effect of ripped off paint looked kinda nice and suitablee, but the overall result was awful.
The conversion potencial, besides details, comes to the amount of parts of the miniature and that's what bothers me the most:
Right now the body and the legs comes as one piece and I'm still not sure if I'll be able to separate them into interchangeable pieces, though I realy wish to for so many reasons.
I want to make a squad of such marksmen and I would like to release 'em as a multi part kit.
Yeap, the head wears a mask. Something like a hockey masks, close to the one from Army of Two:
There won't be much (or any at all) details on the it - it suppose to be a place for freehands and other forms of people's creativity.
I like the idea of unique paintings on the masks for every unit, like hockey goalkeepers have.
Looks quite appropriate and Sci-Fi-esque with the conquistador's Morion helmet, in my opinion.
I see your point it did seem rather solid one piece, just those legs are so cool and one area I always find lets down models is legs and feet.
I like the mask idea will allow for unique creativity so cool choice, I think it will be awkward to break it down at this point maybe something to consider for future though.
The legs are pretty much in scale with regular IG. It won't be much of a problem to saw the legs off, if I won't manage to make it separate with the torso. Problem is, if you want the legs and torso to be Interchangeable and rotatable, you want the waist to be circle, barrel-like shaped, which makes it looks rather clumsy, since the human waist is actually oval shaped (though mine is getting closer to barrel-like every day, meh... ) Well, we'll see, we'll see...
I'm thinking about making several mask variations, but the concept should remain the same.
I would probably just saw the legs and waist apart for my needs no real problem just wondering if you would be making multi pose or one piece miniatures.
Like the idea of head variants different masks would be a interesting addition
Amazing. The colors used for the sewer look really good and don't draw attention from the turtle, but still stand out on their own. The use of turquoise/teal and orange really help lend some fun to the terrain without just blending into the background. Which is what I feel would've happened if you used more neutral tones. That dio has been a long time coming. It was worth the wait.
The leather trimmings on Donafellow look really well done too. Given the composition, I'm glad that you went with super - green opposed to a darker skin tone.
The Arquepulsar rifle looks to be shaping up well. Some attention to the front end is in progress, I assume.
Cheers, mate!
The goal was to achieve cartoony feel yet a little different with the Nick's show.
Tbh (and surprisingly), the most time consuming process for me was the photo shooting...
@Cleatus:
Thank you and welcome!
@LDD:
Thanks, pal.
That was the plan =)
Too bad I failed with the water effect... But the overall result is fairly nice nevertheless.
Can I just say, i've read through this blog just now from start to finish and you've undergone some MENTAL painting and sculpting improvements. I thought the quality was good at the start but I have literally been blown away by the later pages in this blog.
Great work!
@LDD:
Indeed =)
Though I wanted a transparent water (a bit dirty, of course) with some junk seen through it to be there.
@lipsdapips:
Cheers, pal!
Welcome to the party! =)
Alright... Recently I've felt a great need in copying several sculpts for the further work and the workshop where we order our commercial casts is fairly expensive to make a few small details, so the time has come to try out the SmothOn stuff we've bought some time ago.
I've promised to share my casting experience, so here we go, step by step.
Keep in mind, it's not a guide! Just my thoughts and analysis... A story of fails, more likely Okay...
- I've started with placing master model and here I've done the first mistake - made the pouring channel too thin and probably in the wrong spots.
I'm sure it shouldn't be much of a problem with a proper vacuum chamber, but in my case (without any vacuum) it affected the casting quality drasticly.
- Molding time! And here goes the second mistake - I've used small glasses to mix the rubber and this mess is nearly impossible to wash without proper solvent afterwards.
So, I say, save yourself some time and nerves and use one-time cheap plastic cups.
Also, as you can see on the photo, there are a lot of small bubbles in the mix.
It didn't affect my casts after all, but I think using the vacuum for the Silicon is heavily recommended.
- Four hours later, it's ready for demolding and here none mistakes were made, I believe I've carefully cutted the mold so the master model could be removed.
This way it is possible to get a better casting quality with less amount of seams then if using two-part molds, but it's a bit harder to work with, since the cut should be made really gently, if the master model should be removed intact.
- Casting time! Where I screwed up everything Mixing the plastic isn't as messy as mixing silicone and it's easy to wash it afterwards but pouring itself is a tricky process.
Obviously a funnel needed to pour slowly and carefully with a thin stream.
A lot of bubbles forms while stirring the mix and pouring it, thus some kind of vacuum is recommended for outgassing the compound in the cup and in the mold after pouring.
I didn't had any vacuum so along with other mistakes it resulted in an awful copy
Well, an experience gained nevertheless.
I've made a second attempt with some corrections and the result appeared to be much better. Not ideal anyway...
I'm sure with the vacuum chamber the quality will be appropriate, at least for the "home needs". As soon as I'll make it somehow, I'll try to cast a full model and share the results here
Having just got back into the hobby after a year off, playing with my Xbox, i started reading my subbed threads. I had to read yours from the beginning again, and its been awesome to watch the years of progress in a few days. Awesome work. True talent inspires those less so to try harder. And i am going to try harder.
Automatically Appended Next Post: And i just realised i have you quoted in my Sig lol
@M0rdain: XBox is a respectable reason I still have a ton of games I want to play on my PC and XBox, but oh well... Anyway, it's nice to see you back here! And thanks for the kind words.
Did I really said that? o.O
Okay. The Pillager guy is almost finished. I hope I'll manage to post some pics of him here within next few days. Stay tuned! Also, I've made a cheap and simple vacuum pump. Haven't tryed it in action yet, but I'll report as soon as I will. And I've got another bunch of Brother Vinnie's stuff to paint... In fact, I did a lot of painting for him recently, but he asked me not to post the pictures before he will release the product "officially" =/
I know, I know, words are not thrilling enough to keep your entertained But sorry, pals, no pics today... Still, I have something for you and you can click it
Yes, YES! It's our little WebStore! Keep in mind: It's not entirely finished - some sections (like "Account". Should be up soon, though...) are still under construction, but all the vital things are functional and you can order something if you wish to. The reason I share it with you in it's current state is simple: I want to hear your opinion about our site - the intelligibility of the texts ("Order and Delivery" section mainly) and overall interface. Ideally, I want to test the order-payment system, but obviosly it's up to you whether to order or not The assortment isn't wide yet but with the time there will be more, of course. So, click it, check it and share your thoughts with us. Any C&C is highly welcome! Cheers!
A bit of sanding, fixing and polishing required here and there.
I will add a bunsh of rivets (a screw-bolts more likely) and may be a few more details (like bandolier and pouches).
Also I plan to add a backpack and a chainsword (on the hip).
Other than that he's pretty much finished.
So, I'm eager to hear your thoughts about this particular fella and about the idea of squad in this style.
@M0rdain:
Cheers, mate!
I like the overall idea of the helmet with ballistic mask a lot by myself - I think, it fulfils greatly my goal to give a stereotypical conquistador outfit a bit of a modern military touch.
@LDD:
Well, why? Convert 'em into the Conquistador-Grots, of course!
Anyway, here we go public!
MyWay Miniatures in News & Rumors section I will be very grateful for any response in this topic, especially for reviews and comments on our product from those who own one.
Cheers!

Now that is a challenge but to carve such an interesting miniature would be sacrilege
...As I've said before, recently I've done a lot of paiting for Vinnie. There are some things that I can not post yet, as agreed with the customer, but there is some, that I can:
And just for fun's sake, some crappy Photoshop Fu:
Another little update on my commission work for Brother Vinnie:
Warning: nudity content!
Spoiler:
Again, all colouring was done according to the customer's strict specification. I'm pretty satisfied with my work, within given budget, though I'm not a big fan of such theme and painting skin is a pain. And as you can see, it was A LOT of pain with this particular order Anyway, my hands are itchy to get back to work on my sculpting... So much ideas and things to be done!
By the way, there's a little something that I want to share... It's a conversion of MyWay Ronin guy by on of our fellow Dakkanauts VikingChild - an elegant way to mix Ronin's both weapon options in one
Oh, seeing such things here on Dakka makes me feel warm inside
Cheers, my friend! I'm glad to see you in my topic again
@Shas:
Well, be my guest Hopefully, there will be more than one soon.
But to the update!
Another bunch of stuff, painted for Vinni by me:
Spoiler:
And since we're on "the head" topic, here's an unexpected teaser:
Unfortunetly, this head can't speak for itself, so here's a little clarification: the head belongs to one of the Tech Knights, a Ronin's long lost brother, who roams the galaxy for his own purpose. No details yet, but will be For now I call him "The Rotten".
Indeed there's a bit of Servitor vibe, but I believe this new dude will be much more agile and cunning With the design of this head I was aiming for something gruesome, grim and even a bit creepy. Something that I like in the arts of Blanche and Goodwin a lot and something that I want to add to the overall techy miniature look.
@Shas:
Thank you for the order! Your package is ready for the trip across the ocean:
It's night here right now so I'll ship the parcel this morning/day.
Cheers!
@LDD:
Cheers, Roy!
This guy is one of Tech Knights, Ronin alike.
But his story yet remains mystery... More will come with the gossips from far corners of the galaxy
ishkatar wrote: @LDD:

And we'll be glad to see them painted!
Likely get more orders out with the tech knights as you make them, I will of course show of the work I do on the weapon masters.
I hope so I have plans for at least two more Tech Knights, both pretty much similar with the Ronin in their concept, but fairly different nonetheless. Yet it will take some time to finish them up - I'm a slowpoke sculptor =/
Oh, I've shipped your package, by the way. Check your email for details

I saw the pics attached in the E-mail, I am excited about those minis as they are crisp looking! Now to see how long it takes to clear customs in NY and then just 2 days from there to me. Yes, they love to use NY as a inspection point. Even my stuff from Japan gets slowed down there
ishkatar wrote: Aye, delivery time is an interesting topic indeed. Usually it takes about one week for the package to reach the borders of Russia and pass the custom.
This week it is in Russia, next week it will be stuck in NY for American customs? maybe took Brother Vinnis stuff 2-3 weeks so I figure somewhere in that range due to both Russian and US customs officials slowing things down. It is too light and small to be dangerous, x-rays will show 2 small men in a little box in a padded bag .LOL.
May be they are small, but still, they are dangerous mercenaries with illigal weapons, so...
Delivery takes about two weeks around the Europe.
I'm still can't say for sure about the US, since the first shipment to US I've made was a week ago and it's still on it's way.
You know, what's funny? It takes the same two weeks for the package to trevel from Saint-Petersburg to Moscow (and it's only half a day by car!).

Interesting as I can ship a package from here in West Virginia and it will arrive similar distance in 2-3 days.But I figure the package does that 2weeks thing, hit the US, they take a day or so in NY then it is here from NY to my place in southern WV in 2-days when released. I get the impression of some guy in the RU post smoking a cigarette hanging off his lip looking like he does not care looking at and processing the items for the truck to Moscow at whatever pace he feels like, then the guys in the back about the same? maybe some do speed it up, but then the truck must get loaded and take the run to Moscow and then loade the stuff into a container for the plane ride and customs inspection. It arrives in NY where a non smoking looks like they don;t care American post worker in customs looks at everything, shakes it, places in x-ray, then once cleared they load it to the truck for here.
USPS.com has it showing that the origin post has created the shipping signature so it will be in the US postal tracking system from now on till the ronins arrive.
@Shas:
Well, there are a lot of sad jokes about our post here in RF. We call it slowpost (slowpochta in Russian) mostly Yet I can't complain about our post since every package I've shipped so far reached its destinations safe and sound within the estimated time. I hope this will remain the same.
The staff in my local post office are elderly women mostly, though they do their work surprisingly well (for the Russian post, ofc...).
By the way, the Russian Post track shows that your package passed the custom today and was exported to the US, so it should be in America fairly soon.
@Manus:
Cheers!
@CC:
I'd say that's quite a productive world view Alright, than if you will order anything from me I'll sent the package via "land shipping" Seriously, that's the only shipping options available in our post: air and land. And speaking of land one to US I always imagine this guy with the postman bag over his shoulder, walking slowly at the bottom of the ocean towards his destination...
Okey, I'm just kidding
The shipping price is 6 Euro.
And I'll be glad to see your conversions of the Ronin

From the USPS:
Origin Post is Preparing Shipment.
We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.
So likely it will update later on today if it is on a plane it will say it is on a container for shipping. It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to update, the have been saying that a few days. Here we use the term slowpokes, as we are a nation of many immigrants and nativces we do have a lot of borrowed words from all over.
Aye, I've been painting a lot of miniatures for Vinni recently, some of them are not posted yet. Girls, mostly, and surprisingly, not every girl was naked...
well... those not naked probably are in a state of torture or general distress... I see some unresolved issues either in his persona or of his customers...)
I have to get back to sculpting -.- ...nothing to add here that´s a given fact!!!
and
unusually clothed and male
er...does that mean he is unusually clothed, or that it implies that he is also not into clothed men now?... hmmm... maybe Vinnie is testing the waters for cheesecake men models...I mean there must be wargaming girls out there that want some cheesecake models too, eh?...
Nice painting although this thread has totally gone of subject also "warning tit's" you did mean that there is tits or are you warning that we are tits
Looks like this thread needs an update!
So here we go:
Another bunch of paintjob I've made for Brother Vinni (surprisingly, without an overwhelming amount of naked flesh ):
Spoiler:
And ongoing commission:
For the Vinni, of course. It's a character from one great movie. Hopefully, I'll finish this work today and will be able to share the results and details soon.
But enough with Vinni's stuff! I guess some of you (most of you, I hope ) are here to see my own sculpting updates And yes, I have something new to show!
Yet unnamed, this Tech-knight is rumored to be a Ronin's brother, sealed by the vow of silence and driven by the thirst of revenge. Once noble, but now lone and reckless, he roams the galaxy, hunting those who responsible for his Order destruction. His body is almost finished.
Annnnd... This post is not over yet The last week I was hoping to give away The Pilladger for casting to start production at last, but right before that I've discovered some drastic mistakes in my sculpt =/
I've sculpted his arms a few millimeters longer, which is a lot in such a scale.
While longer-then-should-be arms are typical for the heroic miniatures, I don't like this gorilloid proportions much and I want to find a good balance between heroic hyperbolization and realistic feel
Unfortunately, a simple cut off was not enough, since it disturbed to pose heavily, so I decided to resculpt the arms fully anew.
That's the story about my inattention
so it was again you who painted the Arabic knights....good job! and how weird, minis of Vinnie without their mammary not hanging out
the new tech-knight looks very good... but I doubt if I ever would use that head... too much voodoo for my own taste... but it is expertly sculpted nevertheless...just a bit too much for my own needs... but the body looks cool!
and that cameo appeareance looks very promising... iirc the model will only have two blades at his side... but will it be able to get converted with pistols?..
and I also think that yon pilladger needs to get his arm pose a bit adjusted as it looks a slightly bit unnatural ...difficult to describe...
I see the latest Tech Knight is more battered and tattered! One that has seen better days with tabbard all ratty, his face and head full of repairs, He could speak through a vox in the throat like Dr. Phibes
@Shas:
Yes, that's the idea. Unlike clean and techy SW-inspired Ronin, I want the new one to be more grimy and gloomy, chaotic even. Old and demented knight, inspired by the Heavy Metal magazine and Blanche.
I believe I'm on the right way
@Dr H:
Cheers!
Well, Vinni got his finished Mystery man today. Hopefully he will post the pics soon. It turned out really well, I think.
ishkatar wrote: @Shas:

@Shas:
Yep! He will be even more menacing with his weapons!
Sword and board will be the first option, as he is a former noble knight after all. Still not sure about the second option and if he really needs it...
ishkatar wrote: @Shas:

Oh give him weapons and arms for dual wielding, you know it is a cool concept
Cool, indeed.
In fact, I have an idea for two handed weapon, quite a cool one, imo, yet not sure if it will fit his concept.
On the other hand, I want some pew-pew for him as an option, so a big F gun can be a nice choice. And the pose supports this idea quite well too... Yes, right! I think, we've got a winner here...

so nasty 2 handed weapon and a BFG for the pew-pew crowd
Oh, I love this scene! And dual-bladed lightsabers, of course
So, back to the Mystery man, he ain't so mystery anymore!
More:
Spoiler:
This one is based on the main character from the movie Captain Alatriste (in its turn, based on the series of novels about Alatriste by Arturo Pérez-Reverte).
While a bit boring, this film is still very pleasing to watch due to its exquisite visuals, where most of scenes are made a-la 17th century pictures.
So, I've been tasked to paint the miniature according to the movie style and, well, you can see (and, I hope, enjoy) the result It took me about 16 hours of work. Basecoloured with an airbrush, the rest was brushed on.
Also, It appeared, this miniature took the second place in the largest Russian painting competition The Crystal Hammer (judged by Kirill Kanaev aka Yellow One) in a "Single 28mm Historical Miniature" nomination, losing the first place to Ringil. That was a bit unexpected...
@LDD:
Cheers, Roy!
In fact, it's not much of an achievement... but it's pleasantly nonetheless And a good beginning, though I'm not a competition guy anyway.
@El Vik:
Thanks, mate!
I don't like the legs position very much, but other than that it is a very nice miniature indeed.
By the way, his hat is could be taken off and there's a bandana under it.
Okey...
Recently we've got an interesting commission - to make an alternate head for the FW Fulgrim with calm and somehow contemptuous face. And it turned to be quite a tricky task...
First, we had no precise size of the head, nor any proper reference.
Second - the original head have a complicated mane, which flows strictly according to the model's dynamics and, in particular, to the model's cloak.
Third - we had no the model itself...
Thus we had to google, measure and calculate a lot to get at least an approximate size which appears to be 7mm for the head or about the size of a regular SM helm.
The hairs I decided to make shorter. No reason. It just looks better, imo So here's the result so far:
That's it.
Thanks for stopping by!
PS:
Also, sometimes we use our abilities in a weird way, ya' know
Hey, fellas,
it's been a long time... And I have to say, I've missed you and this place =)
I've been paiting a lot this year, commercial stuff mostly (a great deal of my work was for Brother Vinni, though). On the other hand, my sculpting practice wasn't so plentiful, unfortunately... =/
Anyway, there is quite a stockpile of pics to share... You like pics, right? I won't throw everything here at once to keep the place clean and will start with a few most recent updates:
A 75mm animesque katana girl I've painted recently for AlbinoRaven Miniatures. Quite a funny one with her tongue out, but a nice figure overall.
And my first take on a FW Primarch. Lorgar Aurelian, Primarch of Word Bearers. Unfortunately the budget on this one was rather low and customer requirements on schema and style were rather strict... But still it was an interesting experience. The figure is extremely detailed and somehow tricky to assemble. I wish I had more freedom on this one, since there is really a huge potential.
Cheers!
I came up with the name for her, as silly as it sounds: Katanun (Katana nun)!
A fresh paintjob I've done for Brother Vinni: unusually fully dressed Saga-style warrior woman, raising her axe in a battlecry for Odin or something...
Very nicely sculpted and detailed. I especially liked the hair and fur.
More pics:
Spoiler:
And another one of Vinni's miniatures (quite renown one), painted for private collection in a quick and simple way:
I've painted these for Brother Vinni's Indiegog "Dungeon Sisters". The campaign features some classic Vinni's MSFW content.
There are six miniatures currently, but supposed to be more (about 30 total, I believe) in some future.
And an unexpected bunch of Historical miniatures in 1/35 scale.
Most are by Evolution - a really superb sculpt and cast and probably the highest quality miniatures I've ever painted.
If you're into this kind of thing, I strongly recommend to give it a look: Evolution miniatures
Lenin monument by Armor35. Painting miniature as a statue is quite funny...
A sad Clerc by Evolution (he is a part of diorama where he being escorted by NKVD agents, which is never a good thing) and Driver by Armor35:
NKVD agents by Evolution (also for this diorama with Clerc):
Sorry for lurking your awesome works here...I am always very hesitant to comment on anything overly naked and brutal made by vinnie...not that I am against bewbs or brutality...just the combination of the two makes me feel uneasy to say the least...your paintings are as awesome as ever...
But you got me out of hiding with that chainsaw shield!!! Awesome idea, can't believe no one else has ever thought of that before...
Such a pleasure to see you here, El Vik! It's been a long time
Viktor von Domm wrote: Sorry for lurking your awesome works here...I am always very hesitant to comment on anything overly naked and brutal made by vinnie...not that I am against bewbs or brutality...just the combination of the two makes me feel uneasy to say the least...your paintings are as awesome as ever...
Well, I'm not a big fan of overly exposed and violent stuff too - just not my thing... But I found myself being rather happy and eager to paint anything new, especially since it earns me some cash Anyway, you should've seen the late version of that pyramid riding poor wretch, which was, believe it or not, rejected by Vinni as way too gruesome:
Spoiler:
...I just could not stand to test the new GW's "Blood for the Blood God" - it appeared to be quite realistic and easy to use. Great stuff!
Viktor von Domm wrote: But you got me out of hiding with that chainsaw shield!!! Awesome idea, can't believe no one else has ever thought of that before...k
Cheers!
It seems to be my thing to pull out those overly obvious ideas (like minigun SM) But yeah, I'm really proud of this shield - it turned out a well scaled and detailed piece, without unnecessary exaggeration, but interesting and SciFi-esque enough. At least I think so
Sorry, I haven't shot a better pics to share the entire miniature yet, since recently been overrun with quite a bunch of commission work, speaking of which...
A set of classic Soviet monuments, the most common and widely spread statues, seen almost in every city to town and village, and a huge box of various 1/35 of WWII period:
Viktor von Domm wrote: will ou paint these models as monuments...steel and so on or rather like the old times painting style they used to be portrayed in?...
They are of the same set as Lenin monument (by Armor35) and should be pretty much on par - something like gypsum, since most of such statues were a cheap monuments for small towns and villages to portray the ideology of a Soviet regime. So... I had lot of fun with airbrush today, trying to imitate this stony/gypsum-like texture:
Theophony wrote: Pics aren't working for me , stupid smart phone is getting a little yellow case.
I've uploaded some of the pictures to the Dakka gallery - should be fine now, I hope.
Also I've finished that old project of mine, which gathered dust for almost a year on my shelves - A Silent Menace: One more techknight, an ascetic characters, who took a vow of silence after some gruesome events in his past, seeking revenge and remission... I still haven't come up with a proper name for him. Another model from AlbinoRaven on my table, ready for paiting, though now this one will go to the private collection.
Not_so_Mortarion on a scenic base, supplied with the model. A bit busy for my taste yet adds some atmosphere to the piece. I've modified it a bit for the sake of composition, but nothing special.
