I like the overall idea of the helmet with ballistic mask a lot by myself - I think, it fulfils greatly my goal to give a stereotypical conquistador outfit a bit of a modern military touch.

Great combination of the historical, fantasy and sci-fi, I have no idea how to use this miniature but I am compelled to own it

Now that is a challenge but to carve such an interesting miniature would be sacrilege

Again, all colouring was done according to the customer's strict specification.
I'm pretty satisfied with my work, within given budget, though I'm not a big fan of such theme and painting skin is a pain. And as you can see, it was A LOT of pain with this particular order
Anyway, my hands are itchy to get back to work on my sculpting... So much ideas and things to be done!

By the way, there's a little something that I want to share... It's a conversion of MyWay Ronin guy by on of our fellow Dakkanauts VikingChild - an elegant way to mix Ronin's both weapon options in one

Unfortunetly, this head can't speak for itself, so here's a little clarification: the head belongs to one of the Tech Knights, a Ronin's long lost brother, who roams the galaxy for his own purpose. No details yet, but will be
For now I call him "The Rotten".

I have placed an order for 2 of the Ronins that way I can use different weapons, waiting for Paypal to send the pay receipt.

That head made me think servitor instantly...

As for the vinnie stuff...awesome paintingskills mister!

I had already seen the brother vinnis stuff on his thread and figured it was your work again, nice work by the way

As to the head I am thinking chaos or some kind of outworld experimental soldier, either way I like the look

Indeed there's a bit of Servitor vibe, but I believe this new dude will be much more agile and cunning
With the design of this head I was aiming for something gruesome, grim and even a bit creepy. Something that I like in the arts of Blanche and Goodwin a lot and something that I want to add to the overall techy miniature look.

Likely get more orders out with the tech knights as you make them, I will of course show of the work I do on the weapon masters.

I saw the pics attached in the E-mail, I am excited about those minis as they are crisp looking! Now to see how long it takes to clear customs in NY and then just 2 days from there to me. Yes, they love to use NY as a inspection point. Even my stuff from Japan gets slowed down there

Aye, delivery time is an interesting topic indeed. Usually it takes about one week for the package to reach the borders of Russia and pass the custom.

This week it is in Russia, next week it will be stuck in NY for American customs? maybe took Brother Vinnis stuff 2-3 weeks so I figure somewhere in that range due to both Russian and US customs officials slowing things down. Interesting as I can ship a package from here in West Virginia and it will arrive similar distance in 2-3 days.But I figure the package does that 2weeks thing, hit the US, they take a day or so in NY then it is here from NY to my place in southern WV in 2-days when released. I get the impression of some guy in the RU post smoking a cigarette hanging off his lip looking like he does not care looking at and processing the items for the truck to Moscow at whatever pace he feels like, then the guys in the back about the same? maybe some do speed it up, but then the truck must get loaded and take the run to Moscow and then loade the stuff into a container for the plane ride and customs inspection. It arrives in NY where a non smoking looks like they don;t care American post worker in customs looks at everything, shakes it, places in x-ray, then once cleared they load it to the truck for here.

I look at it this way, when I place an order and it gets here a month later I'll have forgotten about it, so it'll be a wonderful surprise!

I imagine shipping prices are gonna hurt a bit, but totally worth it.

USPS.com has it showing that the origin post has created the shipping signature so it will be in the US postal tracking system from now on till the ronins arrive.
