This sums up everything Cam. Never be quite lad! we all love a good joke.
When my kids were smaller I thought about making an emperor Titan costume for them to wear, and bring them to an apocalypse game, set them on the table and tell them where to move. I was going to let them make whatever robot sounds they wanted and thought nerd guns would be appropriate for the weapon arms. Only problems were they didn't stand still long enough for a game, and my opponents probably wouldn't allow me to remove the Titan for bathroom breaks

My client request i post updates on the commission. So here it is the first 10 models of the journey is the female football players. They need their flesh finished and their visors done, and perhaps basing. Oh... Titan for scale..
Here is some more progress on the commission i was given. Zome bugs for the team of girls to fight. Right now their skin is done for the most part. Details to come.
The females are the Female Corporation Dreadball team from Mantic, and the insectoids are the Z'zor Dreadball team, plus each team has a MVP superstar player..
the "rubenesque" lady and the bug with wings are the MVPs
Camkierhi wrote:Those bugs look quite cool, and the females are quite nice models too, where are they from?
Thanks but porkus answered you below.
Dr H wrote:Interesting looking models. Look forward to more.
Are you going to add more large things to the titan's base? To give him a reason to be walking on boulders like stepping stones...
My plan is a ravine type thing maybe a small river and a guard tent.

The mvps will be up next on the chopping block after I finish these two teams.
Hey panda. Good to see you are back to painting and posting. Titan is looking good. You said he will be walking in a ravine with a guard tent? That would look really cool. Are you thinking IG or some sort of Eldar xeno-hut thing?
IG trooper yawns stretches and walks outside lighting his itho stick sheltering the flame from a strange wind. Realizing he fell asleep listening to his Epod (IPod of 40k universe) he takes out his earplugs and is stunned by the screams and noises o fighting. Just then a large shadow looms over him, as he looks up he sees the phantom Titan gazing down on him. His itho stick falls from his lips and his the ground a heartbeat before the cloven foot of the phantom Titan snuffs it and him out of existence.
Moral of the story......"only the Eldar can prevent forest fires you Mon-keigh swine "

Definitly was thinking guard, not sure, i could go generic cadian or other... its gunna be an amazon jungle type thing, and really i am not up for doing catachans though they make sense.

Hey all... sorry i havent posted. Life is just so damn heavy atm. 3 jobs and school leaves no time for well... anything Thankfully my art teacher for me one fun class this semester lets me paint my models in there. Huzzah! so i get 2 hours a week . Anyways enough tears.

Thanks better photos attached.. only marginally better. Need to set up my light box again.

Try emperors children. I wanted to really push the whole "art" thing with them. But pretty marines i guess works too.

Hmmm... tempting see what you say now.
Dont worry i have since corrected the bolter.. i missed a couple spots with the black. It was late.
Thanks. Turns out my varnished leaked on the face, and my highlights were to much for me, here the Chapter Master after touch ups. Oh and now Lord cheeto hand has text. Because magic.
The chapter master is all "dude,I have this gun that shoots hot liquid Cheetos, you want to try it?"
Lord Cheeto says "bring it on!"
Chapter master "For the Emperor!" BANG
Cheeto explosion ensues
Does the Cheeto gun have the side effect of distracting the enemy due to cheesy cravings? They all wonder around going "I really could go a bowl of cheeto's right now, and isn't he pretty!!"

Currently i am just winging it. I picture it in my head, and try to draw it. I still try to use the same principles of 3 colors in every color visible in the free hand, right now i think that is saving me. For my larger surfaces that are more noticeable i will be stencil in pencil and then fill it in. Kinder gardener style. I plan many nudes for my land raiders...

That is a metric ton of orks. And the new stuff they have coming for them looks great!
Thoughts of 7th Ed 40k. I played some games over the weekend, and overall enjoyed the experience.
The new Wizard Phase - I like this, provides a nice dice roll off on all powers. Armies with more wizard types have a huge advantage and will dominate this phase. Generates a bit of unbalance, but I don't believe enough to ruin the game.
New challenge - It makes more sense now that the wounds spill over out of a challenge. Picture the swarm lord with 4 large bone swords facing down a lowly tactical space marine sergeant. The marine stands no chance and is decapitated. All those extra sword swings now spill out into the squads friends. (This is devastating, but nice)
New random objectives during the game! - Simply love this, makes armies have to work for their points. Making you want to drop slower shootier units for faster ones. Lists that were built to table or close to table you may no longer win regularly. (table means lose all models)
Favorite moment in my games - Slaneesh super wizard beats the crap out of my wizard as the warp supercharges him. My tank blows off a hell brutes arms and it panics by screaming and spinning in place. A short lascannon later puts the poor thing out of its misery.
Overall 7th is good, and really adds playability to any list making list making less of a factor during game.

Well the few times it has seen table top, I would actually have to give the 3 knights the advantage. It would be interesting, but the knights would only be half the points. So you need 6 knights for this to be a even match.

Table top ready level.
It only started with a few..
Then Many
in the crowd shots
More progress on Fulgrimmy. Really happy about how the cape turned out. Poor lighting kinda ruins it.

Blast from the past Wolves. Hey man. Thanks for the compliment. Guess I will have to start checking from updates from you again. Anyways, great to have you back.
What did you do to it? Or should we not say because the airbrush police might show up. Just nice to know so the rest of us don't do the same thing later.....or we can commiserate over doing the same dumb thing
