Following the close of the Kickstarter campaign Privateer Press Interactive will begin working behind the scenes to prepare the backer surveys. The surveys will allow us to collect important information like your shipping address, reward level and specifics concerning your reward level like which exclusive figures you want, and any add-ons you want. The survey information will then be used to populate our BackerKit pledge management system, which you will receive an invite to once the bulk of the surveys have been sent back to us. Our target goal is to send out the Kickstarter Surveys by mid-September.
Veterans of other Kickstarter projects may be familiar with BackerKit or similar pledge management systems. For those who are first time backers of Kickstarter, BackerKit streamlines the pledge fulfillment process by allowing you to select your add-ons by essentially shopping in your own private store, using your pledged dollar amount as credit to select the items you want. You'll even be able to purchase any add-ons that you may have missed out on before the campaign closed.
In addition, BackerKit will allow you to easily update your shipping information at any time up until we begin shipping the process of shipping rewards next year.
Going gangbusters at the moment, but I'm pretty sure we'll fall fairly short of the next stretch goal, though maybe they'll get it with the additional add-ons with the pledge manager and the extended time for pay pal pledging (I think it'll be up for another week or something?).
Ashlyn... well, we can but hope.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Casual count down for the last couple of hours of the kickstarter With Matt Wilson and Co:
Automatically Appended Next Post: Finished and funded with over 20,000 backers and $1.6m (once you include pay pal), and more to come as people can add extra options when the get the backer survey and pay pal funding is still open for another week or two as well.
I fell off the wagon and missed this ending, very nice finish (with the 3rd and 5th highest funding and backer total days) and Retribution made it in easily

The internet was right, the late surge did happen.
Really happy Ret are in the game, going to be a long wait now.

Yep. Altogether the Kickstarter followed the same path as pretty much every other similar kickstarter (large digital project with an existing fanbase), with a 40-40-20 split (40% in the first 3 days, 20% for the last 3 days, 40% for everything in between). It also managed to be the 13th most funded videogame on Kickstarter every, and that included some big names and campaigns, so I'd call it pretty successful
Getting Ret in is brilliant too, though now I suppose Cyriss fans will start complaining about being left out
