40k wise, I'm going for a new army in the new year. Check out my blog over the next week or so and you can see what I do.
Also, I'll be picking up Xwing. Got the starter set, and having had (more than) a few games already, I'm looking at getting a few B-wings, headhunters and possible a few E-wings over the next few weeks so I can use my own stuff when I play and not have to borrow friends stuff.

My biggest ambition is to recreate the Battle of Tewkesbury (War of the Roses) in 28mm. I've got most of the minis, now I just need to put my head down and get on with it!
Would love to get round to playing in more events this year, inc. Infinity ITS and hopefully a SAGA one in February as well.

Here are some thoughts:
1. Get my free Big, Stompy Robot game called JUGS upload to the Free Wargames Wikia.
2. Play a few Demo games of JUGS and post up Batreps
3. Paint up enough Glaidators to play a campaign of The Games: Blood and Spectacle
4. Continue to work on the following Rules projects:
--- The Dakota War of 1862- A historical game
--- Of Blood and Irongard- Necromunda Mod
--- Combat! Starring Vic Morrow- A WWII on TV Skirmish Game
--- Half a Loaf of Kung Fu- A Miniature Skirmish Game
--- Under the Eagles- A fantastical ahistorical Napoleanic ruleset
5. Play a Game of Blood Bowl every other Month
6. Play and create 3 Batreps for Aeronautica Imperialis
7. Paint the rest of my Varingyr Brotherhood for Aeronautica Imperialis
8. Paint my Stalwart Class Crusier for Aquanautica Imperialis
9. Pick-up Robotech RPG Tactics
10. Pick-up All Quiet on the Martian Front

I plan to get a few games of Battlegroup or other ww2 based games under my belt.
That means getting some 1/72 forces together so I guess I'll have to build and paint the german units I have sitting in my cupboard and decide on some opposing forces to go with.
Couple that with building enough scenery for the above as well.
I also plan to look further down the rabbit hole that is X-wing and STAW.
Maybe I'll finally take the plunge and try Infinity too.

I want to game more, primarily, but given how my gaming group has kind of disintegrated over the last year that may or may not be possible.
Other than that, my main aim is to get 2 forces painted and based for every system I play before September when I go off to uni. This means finishing at least one of my SM armies to my best standard, starting up another Malifaux faction, expanding my PanO and Nomads and continuing my Star Wars stuff for my homemade SW ground (40mm) and space rulesets (both of which also need finishing up.
I also want to hit 365 minis painted next year. In 2014, as of last week, I was something like 150ish bought to 285 painted, so I'm hoping to push both those totals up next year.

Compete in every Guardians of Tyr WM/H tournament in my town, however im on the back up list for the first one >.<
I would like to compete more in WM/H after coming third in my clubs tournament and 3rd in last years Guardians league, which. Is great as I was only at two thirds of the events.
Keep on top of my painting! All of my Cygnar, Mercs and Menoth are painted, I have two 35pt Circle armies yet to build or paint and will likely end the year with around 3 50 point options!

Need to paint a couple of divisions of British for a 15mm 200th anniversary of Waterloo game, and I'm starting to brick it. (I'm not a very fast painter)
Otherwise, get together some Uruk-Hai and converted historicals for Mayhem mass battles.
Test my custom chapter colour scheme on a couple of 40K minis and then build the actual chapter in 6mm.
Take another look at some of those random fantasy minis in the lead pile that would actually make a coherent couple of skirmish warbands.

It's not a new one; I was going there and to my local GW regularly--and had been for years--until my mental state tanked. It's taken years, several different anti-depressants, several courses of therapy (including upcoming ones), and a steady flow of anti-anxiety medication to get back to the point where I can even consider going again, never mind actually doing it.

Flesh out my Host of the Eternity King a bit with some Dark Elf Core, and a couple singles (sorceress, assassin). Finish up my Ogres (which basically means "buy box of leadbelchers and second cannon - done!).
Picked up Xwing, so mission for 2015 is "get Slave 1 and Millenium Falcon". They are getting pretty hard to find, and are due for reprint, so i may have to wait for that as i've hit every barnes and noble within reasonable driving distance and no one has 'em. (as an aside, jesus christ if they made this game with WWII planes, you would have trouble getting me to leave my local game store!).
Uhm... past that... for the first time in probably ten years, do more painting of minis than buying of minis. And play more games (which i'm onto a great start, i'm getting about a half dozen 2500 point games of WHFB per month right now which is pretty cool, up about 50% over this time last year).

I'll be spending a good chunk of the year in Afghanistan, so I won't be purchasing much. My laptop can't handle to many newer games, and I've already got all the old games that I play on here. Tabletop wise, baring Fantasy taking off in the local area, I don't see myself buying anything. I've got all I need 40K wise, and no one here plays FoW, so no need for that...

I should probably add that I shouldn't buy any more paint, I already have more colours than I use.
If I really feel the urge, I can always download some rules or make some of my own. My friends have all kinds of games, and I can also just walk down to the public library and borrow a video game or a RPG book.
The priority how ever will be to play the games I already have.

Hmm, well the first thing I want to do is get a nice army together for Kings of War and Warhammer (ie same army in both games). I've already made a start on that in fact. Got one of each box from the Wargames Factory Rising Sun range on their way to me.
I plan to use them as Empire in Warhammer and Kingdoms of Men in Kings of War. Obviously that leads to the goal of playing more Wahammer and actually starting to play Kings of War. I'll probably stick to around 1000pts ( WHFB) and 750pts ( KoW) for a while to learn the army and get everything painted.
I want to play more Bolt Action and actually finish an army at some point. Got 500pts each of German Heer, Poles and Soviets and 1000pts of German Fallschirmjager all hanging around mostly unpainted.
I need to play more Star Trek Attack Wing simply because I love it. Probably got enough ships by now that I don't need to buy any more but I'll probably cave in and buy a few more at some point.
Oh and then there's my ever growing board game collection, I will almost certainly keep adding to that. There's loads of great board games out there and I've now got a semi regular gaming group meeting and my house so I've got an excuse to get more (yay!).
Finally if possible I'd like to build a gaming table in my spare bedroom but that really depends on how much money I have spare since I also need other furniture at some point.

1. Keep playing in local community games, 2. Expand my SAGA collection by finishing my Welsh waband, adding to my Normans, and buying some terrain. 3. Play some Battletech with the new 2014 Introductory Set. 4. Wait for and then play the Second Edition of Strange Aeons that I helped kickstart earlier in 2014. 5. Maybe pick up something to do with WWI. Baccus now has a great 6mm range and a starter set coupled with a digital set of Great War Spearhead II. And, most important, 6. KEEP PAINTING!

2.) Paint enough Tyranids to play a game.
3.) Paint Space Hulk.
4.) Finish my FoW Soviet army.

For Malifaux:
1) paint what I have allready, about 6 crew boxes 15ish human sized individuals and 4 big guys (50mm, HT 3-4)
2) ALL THE ARCANISTS!!! (Marcus, beasts, and anything new )
3) pickup Levi, the Vics, atypical nephlim, and Pigs.
4) average one game night every 2 weeks minimum.
For other stuff:
1) paint my Steampunkers and Wild Westerners for a steampunk-ish RPG campaign. (Malifaux / Iron Kingdoms / whatever else looks like fun mash-up)
2) finish my mirror dog Trollbloods, Circle, and Enforcers.
3) limit myself to new stuff for games I've allready started and still want to play.

2. Finish up my Rivet Wars core set (plus 2-3 of the expansion packs)
3. Stick to my goal of only 2 Kickstarters per year (succeeded this year!)
4. Up my painting game - hopefully because of the Figone painting book I pledged for (1 of the 2). Learn 2 brush blending.
5. Sell some stuff, and make sure my painting total is greater than my minis purchased. (Failed this year :/ )
6. Paint up a few of my Warmahordes starter sets.
7. Keep inching along with FF stuff.

1. Play more. 2. Don't buy as much. 3. Paint more. 4. See backlog diminish. I really don't play as often as I want to. Maybe once a month, or every 2-3 weeks if I'm lucky. Buying cool new models is my other main problem, and right now I need to stop spending money. So I want to concentrate on my backlog, in this order. 1. Infinity Haqqislam. These guys are now roughly 50% finished. I should be able to plough through them. 2. Infinity Tohaa. These guys haven't been started at all, and I really want to take a crack at painting them. 3. Malifaux Neverborn. I do these guys occasionally to break up my Infinity backlog and inject a bit of Fantasy into my sci fi painting. So they're not super urgent because they get done anyway. 4. Zombicide. I just got into these games, and they're super fun. But these minis need painting. There's so many of them. I'll probably take the same approach with these as I am with Malifaux. Prime 5-6 zombies and paint them between Infinity models. This helps with the repeat model syndrome the game has going on as well. Overall I just need to paint more. I used to paint every night, a little or a lot, just to keep the brush practice up, but life has gotten in the way. I need to get back into it.

2. Paint the Hobbit starter set party (don't judge me - I love The Hobbit and got the game for 45% off retail).
3. Paint my new Malifaux stuff, when it arrives
4. Zombies!
5. Make a start on my Persian Invasion of Greece stuff.
Fortunately, it's all based on stuff I already own.
Unfortunately, it's a lot of painting and I'm unbelievably slow.

2015 will be the year of MORE DAKKA!!!
I plan to completely mobilize my orks and increase my blast and large blast weaponry.
I also plan to bash kit up some Forge World vehicles to supplement my normal vehicle list and convert my real old trukks into a force of Warbuggies.
If it all works out I will have 100 boyz and around 50 to 75 specialists (elite and heavy support types) all in trukks, battlewagons, big trakks, junkas and such. I will have a collection of grot tanks, a grot mega tank and at least one big trakk with the biggest effing gun I can mount. My artillery options will be 5 each of bubblechukkas, kannons, Smasha Guns and trakktor kannons to mix and match along with plenty of mega armor choices to march them up the battlefield and give the gretchins some serious protection.
I plan to perfect my Death Star formation. Artillery units surrounded by trukks and armor filled with boys all moving slowly forward slamming the enemy with whatever damage would be most effective. The mass dropping off units to take and hold objectives as it moves along the board like a massive amoeba of death and destruction.

I'm gonna echo the sentiment of painting more and buying less. We'll see though! I'd like to get more gaming in, be it X-wing, Pulp Alley, or what have you. I'd like to see a few games of Infinity to justify the growing collection but they're fun enough to paint for the sake of it. A short list... I wanna start and finish Icestorm. Preferably *all* of my unpainted Infinity. Get at least one strike team done for all 6 deadzone factions. Finish at least one of my 2x2' semi-static boards. Either 'Tank Graveyard' or 'Desert Outpost'. Further flesh out my MA collection (but I'm not ambitious enough to say *all*). Paint at least a bit from all backed KS projects, and try to cut down on further backed projects

Hmmm, paint up the Circle stuff that I got for Christmas and learn how to play Hordes! There is a fairly decent amount of WM/H players in my area (Oxford), but they meet on a Monday from 6pm and I tend to work til 8pm every Monday.. Although I'm off work tomorrow, so may well pootle along and see what's what.
Other than that, I must save more money for Salute this year. I always promise myself that I'll take £500 but normally only manage around half of that. But with my plans to quit smoking next year (yay vaping!) then I might actually pull it off. If I do then I think I may well start Carnivale as well. The minis really appeal, as does the setting.
We shall see...

2) Get started on my BA USMC.

I want to build up my Imperial alliance and Chaos to 1750pts.
Base at least 1 model this year: painting is no longer enough!
And find at least 1 person who can beat my CSM Daemon Prince in a casual (read: in-campaign) game, as him killing himself with his own f*****g mace doesn't count
Man, even GK and Black Templar marine tide failed the other day!

Finish painting my Coven, and convert a dozen or so more wracks.
Sell off the extraneous DE i don't need.
Play more with them.
Sell off any 40k stuff not already specifically picked out for my painting/modelling projects (mostly out of the hhhobby now )
Paint up and play my Circle Oroboros, Menoth and Trollbloods. Possibly expand my trollbloods and menoth a bit (and get the last model i want for my Circle)
Learn to play X-wing (just got the starter)
Finish painting up my Dreadfleet and Space Hulk. and play them both more.
Build scenery for Necromunda, and play that more.
looks to be a busy year...

Selling my army and quitting wh40k for good. This game is so imbalanced, nonsensical and greedy.

There are lots of games out there that are balanced, make sense and frugally sensible!
If you're thinking of doing so, don't give up on wargaming, take a look at this thread here for an idea of some of the other games out there http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/369662.page
Probably if you made a thread about what kind of game you wanted to play, you would get plenty of ideas thrown your way that way too.

Continue painting my Custom SM Chapter. Painting only, hopefully I'm not buying more miniatures for a while. Hopefully play with them too
Start playing Infinity, already have the N3 book, slowly reading it.
I think that's pretty much it.

I'm planning to actually start playing again. I just recently got the bug to play 40k again, but with Holidays and trying to sell some stuff I don't play anymore, I've been a bit busy.
Right now, I'm working on Orks, Tyranids and I'm thinking about trying to pick up a HORDES army, probably Trollbloods.

Local Fantasy players are starting up a campaign so I'm going to be doing that.
Paint all the things!
Build a modular table that will work across multiple games.
Get waist deep in Firestorm: Planetfall! And look into a second fleet for FSA so I can start Spartan Vanguard.

Twice-monthly board game night.
Run an RPG module every couple months.
More yahtzee with my war dollies (elves elves ELVES!)
Introduce some new people to Malifaux (finally built enough buildings for it!)

I need to get a new 6x4 board sorted, nothing fancy just a board, as soon as possible. I am also planning on ordering a gaming mat and increasing my ruined buildings to make a nice city map for my 40k games.
Painting is also a priority at the moment because I seem to be buy models faster than I can put them together let alone paint them. I will set a target time of one month from now to have at least one of my armies fully painted.

Finish assembling and painting my 100 conscripts for my IG. And then call it over for 40K collecting.
Expand my Malifaux collection to round out a basic Nephilim list, then focus on my Ten Thunders and the odd Ressurectionist models I might need.
Assemble all the Dreamforge goodies that surely will come in 2015.
Paint my Tablescapes that will also come in 2015 (fingers crossed) and then focus on terrain for the rest of the year. 2015 is going to be the year of painted terrain.

Learn to airbrush to save time on painting tanks and basecoating infantry.
Paint and assemble 5000 points of Death Korps
Continue to help my step son embrace the game (He just decided on DA)
Purchase a few models for a second army.
Try and get back into RPGing locally

I'm seriously considering quitting. I've barely had time to play games,I still paint the odd model but it's going slow. I wanted to paint up two 15mm WW2 forces (British and German) to play games with mates... but it's taken me several months to paint only 6 tanks and a handful of infantry which isn't even enough to play a game and so now I'm losing motivation on it. Given most my day to day work is in front of a computer (well, it varies, sometimes I get out and about, but mostly just computer) I want to take up hobbies that get me off my arse, not spending even more time on it. The gaming mates I have I see outside of wargaming anyway so it's not like I'll be losing any friends. We'll see though, I haven't made any resolutions yet to quit the hobby, just considering it.

More Bolt Action.
1. Buying more Germans and Americans and get them painted
2. Buying more ww2 terrain from 4ground and finishing my Market Garden and Normandy boards.
3. Demo and run scenarios at conventions to grow our local community of games here.
40K wise it will be a slow year. I hope to paint up all the units I have purchased and are lying around my game room. Try to stay current rules wise. No new purchases this year 40k wise unless Sister's get a codex.
Sell off my Warmachine.

Aside from that putting Fantasy stuff on the backburner, maybe sell my Skaven but who knows!

I want to paint my 2000+ point 'nid army by February, when I start work in a new job, and see if I can't find some sort of regular gaming group here in West London.
I also want to get serious about painting, because I've not improved enough in the last 5 years for my liking.

Get rid of my 40k Necron army. Use the money for something important (a newer car) and never buy any overpriced GW drek ever again.
Build and play the USMC starter army for Bolt Action I bought on New Year's Day.
Play and collect as much X-wing as possible.
Continue playing the FFG Star Wars RPG.
Give Star Wars Armada a try.

I actually already have an airbrush to apply base coats, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really speed up my painting, if anything it slows me down. Before I had the airbrush I'd prime white and then using a large brush with a heavily watered down paint as the basecoat, which only took a couple of minutes per model anyway and gave me a bit of initial shading. Now that I'm airbrushing the basecoat I end up spending more time doing airbrushed shades and highlights which takes a lot longer
But I find the time consuming parts to be initially constructing the models and then after the basecoat is done, doing all the shading/highlighting/detailing.

I'm in a bit of a quandary... I think I want to get my Infinity O:I stuff painted and played, but just feel like I've hit a dead-end on the whole hobby. Hopefully it's just a post-Crimbo lull and I'll perk back up!
I really want to get into Android Netrunner and play more board games. Specifically Lovecraft/Cthulhu inspired stuff.
However, outside of my occasional foray to the NWGC I don't have a gaming group anymore, and the only other person I know who digs Lovecraft finds gaming hilariously sad.
I enjoyed my last WHFB tournament weekend in November, but I think I've had enough of that lot for a while. I don't like my army and really CBA starting ANOTHER one.
I'm a full edition behind on my Marines in 40k despite getting back into the hobby in 2011 or so.
So yeah, that all reads as a massive BAH! HUMBUG! Jeeeez.
I need a new painting lamp, so let's start from there...

I've resolved to make a stab at 365 models over the course of the year. I'll likely fail, but I'll damn well try Hopefully I buy must less than half that many but we'll see

I go into a little more detail in my blog, but here are my 2015 gaming resolutions:
1 Finish painting the odds and ends from my friend's SOB army that I worked on. Just a handfull of arcoflagelents, spare immolater weapons, some IG HQs .
2 Paint more then I buy.
3 Make a display board for my army. I've had the sheets of foam insulation waiting to be carved for years, never get around to it.
4 Base my army. Someday this will happen.
5 Paint my spare bits. I've magetized a number of things, painted the primary set up, but never get around to doing the other options.
6 Try to get more games in.
7 Update my blog at least once a week, and maintain a consistent pace of work (1 mini a week).
8 Get my Eldar army to a playable level, 1,000 points minumum, with 1,500 or 1,850 being stretch goals.
I’ve been refining these goals for the last two years. #8 is new for this year. Hopefully I can actually cross some off (1,3, and 4 have been there for far too long)

I've got a couple of hobby plans this year:
Finish painting my Lizardmen - I have 1 steg, 100 lizardmen, a slaan, and a couple of heros. I'm using army painter so it shouldn't be too bad - they are all base coated.
Finish painting my Warriors of Chaos - I've got 12 more warriors and free hand banners to paint. Then I've got 2 chariots, 3 blood crushers, and the 3 headed monster to paint. I've based coated all but the monster and chariots.
Finish painting my space wolves - I've got 20 grey hunters to finish and I should be done.
Finish painting my salamanders - I've got 2 tactical squads (unprimed)
I've got some warmahordes (Cygnar/Skorne) stuff to paint but I'm not in any hurry because nobody cares if they get painted in my group.
Essentially, I don't plan on buying anything other than paints, basing materials, and glue for the rest of the year.
