So White Dwarf 75 came with a free Stormcast Eternal Liberator from the new Age of Sigmar game. It got me thinking what colour schemes have other people gone for? So feel free to post your completed figure here, no matter what you feel your skills as a painter here.

Here is my completed miniature, a variation on the teal armoured faction:

That's really nice. Its a nice mix up of the teal and silver schemes that are in the AoS book.

Will have to take a crack at mine now, I have seen far too many attempts not to do it myself.

Gotta say I'm loving these darker/neutral schemes more than the typical Gold/Royal Blue.

That's nice, really like the colors very "timeless warrior" look to it. This gives me ideas though, these might be perfect for crusader conversions for Inquisitorial retinues.

I went with GW's color scheme myself. Went right off the painting guide in the WD just to see how I could make it look. Here's mine.







It was a great model to paint. I actually got my hands on three, so am working on an alt paint scheme as well. Will post that also when I get it done.

Fantastic model

Cracking work from Squall and Talys there. How did you find it to paint? I think it is great for a starter mini for first time painters, getting decent results should be quite easy.

Conversions are welcome in the thread too, whether it is Adeptus Custodes, Marines or whatever.

My local store is having a lock in Fri night for the release, and a part of the night's activities is a painting contest (with a decent prize). I was feeling pretty confident about mine so far, until I found out that apparently Kevin Chin is partaking :(

Got a second one painted. I went with a different scheme to see what I could come up with and I have to say, I don't like it near as much as the last one I did. I figured I would post a few pics though, in case it inspires someone to do something better with it.

My very quick paint job (45 min) contribution. I don't like the gold and will be redoing it in the future. I just needed something to post on my blog (link in sig).

Painthammer is having a contest or something with Stormhost Eternals and there have been some absolutely amazing conversions/kitbashes showing up. Definitely go check them out.

Some really great work on display here. I have to say though that Crimson's scheme is my favorite so far.

Here's mine: I also preferred the silver armor look.

Really liking all the different looks can't wait to get started.

He is an Eternal though lol. He's not a Liberator (which is what you get with the WD)

I was actually going to do red for the topknot and cloth, then I realized he'd be a Menite. Changed it to green, which turned out pretty well, but the likeness is still pretty apparent. Oh well.

It is great that this thread is still getting posts, some great alternative schemes for others to pilfer too!

I think @Stompygitz may be my favourite scheme so far.

Testing out various things. I think i'm settled on silver and gold but a more weathered look.

Finished up mine a while ago, but only just got around to basing him.

Was done in as a test scheme for a friends Space Marine army, to see how the colours would come out.

Rebiler, those look awesome! There's something automaton-like about them, something implacable and soulless. I imagine them standing guard all day, in formation, then silently marching out when there's some righteousness to be done!

@rebiler: those are awesome! The silver and dark blue actually evokes the Thunder and Lightning imagery a lot better than the standard gold, and looks epic to boot!

I actually used P3 paints for that one. I had a bunch laying around and tried to color match the best I could. I found the blues a bit more sapphire than the GW line in the end.

I love your silver scheme also. I was tossing around the Black/Red/Gold, or a Silver/Teal Scheme, but I really was drawn to the gold. Made it easy they had a step by step as well.

@shamikebab Love the NMM, hard look to pull off as it takes some blending skills, but you pulled it off well!

It's what my wife wants, and she thinks gold is purdy >.< This will actually be for her AoS battleforce.

On the bright side, I really enjoy the new Retributor and Liberator golds, as the first is a fantastic basecoat paint, and the second is a good blending paint for highlights. It was a lot of fun painting a true metallic gold model for like, the first time, and practically removes any reason that I have for doing NMM golds (which I don't like because on gaming models, you can't line up the zenith of every model on the tabletop as you play )

That is the coolest scheme I have seen for the stormcast eternals. Silver looks more 'fantasy' than gold, and the black, white, and turquoise is juat brilliant.

Do you have pics of the rest of your force? Any lord celestants or celeastant primes?

Keep up the great work! You have finally motivated me to take a brush to my aos units!

GW freebie one, kinda fast paintjob but wasnt instalove for me, too close to all the other stuff I paint but I guess its worth sharing.

And then the theme I ended up going with since it kinda fits my plans of Empire colours too.

Oh man just saw this tread! I painted one when it came with the White Dwarf. It's not as pretty as most of you guys' but it's a quick way. I have 3 boxes lying around that I will paint soon, I will definitly look here for inspiration and alternative schemes!
