@rebiler: those are awesome! The silver and dark blue actually evokes the Thunder and Lightning imagery a lot better than the standard gold, and looks epic to boot!

Nothing too spectacular here, just painting these for tabletop... Might change how I color some of the bits for the upcoming minis but this is the theme I'm going for.

These are my favourite I've seen anywhere yet. I love the scheme. I also love white/black schemes in general. Looking forward to seeing more.

@angelofvengeance

I actually used P3 paints for that one. I had a bunch laying around and tried to color match the best I could. I found the blues a bit more sapphire than the GW line in the end.

I love your silver scheme also. I was tossing around the Black/Red/Gold, or a Silver/Teal Scheme, but I really was drawn to the gold. Made it easy they had a step by step as well.

@shamikebab Love the NMM, hard look to pull off as it takes some blending skills, but you pulled it off well!

Really nice work as per usual Talys!
I'm assuming you're going for the vanilla Sigmarine scheme with your stuff?

It's what my wife wants, and she thinks gold is purdy >.< This will actually be for her AoS battleforce.

On the bright side, I really enjoy the new Retributor and Liberator golds, as the first is a fantastic basecoat paint, and the second is a good blending paint for highlights. It was a lot of fun painting a true metallic gold model for like, the first time, and practically removes any reason that I have for doing NMM golds (which I don't like because on gaming models, you can't line up the zenith of every model on the tabletop as you play )

Got a little more work with the green and cloth, and still debating doing pink for the plume, but otherwise very proud of him.

Great paintjob, FatBoy. So much more intimidating and regal than the standard gold and blue. Nice one!

They look like they've been directed straight to the Realm of Life.

Gorgeous scheme (I used to have a similar one for my CSM)

The Emerald Canticle sings the song of life and in the End Times fought hard against the minions of Nurgle. Even as they suffered and agonized when the diseases finally took hold, their lungs kept full of songs of faith and strength until they could physically sing no more. When Sigmar heard their song echoing along the wind of Ghyran he cried and knew their fortitude and unwavering will deserved another chance. Because of their attachment to the wind of Ghyran, they primarily fight alongside the Sylvaneth with Allarielle's blessing in the realm of Ghyran against Nurgle's forces, and seek vengeance for the suffering they incurred at Nurgle's hands.

I've got a few more things to do with the model (going to highlight the green a bit more, might do some shading/washing on the cape/cloth, etc.)

He's called a Lord Relictor. Basically like a Chaplain in AoS but he can also zap people by calling down the Storm of Sigmar.

The guy in the box set is believed to be Arkhan the Black. Former servant of a certain necromancer from the Old World...

Nope, just waiting to get the whole commission done. Just doing that plain GW look with some gravel and grass.

Not the WD miniature, but I am going with a ethereal scheme for my stormcasts. I have always loved the legion of the damned, so a AoS version of theme was an awesome idea for me.

Rebiler,

That is the coolest scheme I have seen for the stormcast eternals. Silver looks more 'fantasy' than gold, and the black, white, and turquoise is juat brilliant.

Do you have pics of the rest of your force? Any lord celestants or celeastant primes?

Keep up the great work! You have finally motivated me to take a brush to my aos units!

The ethereal scheme is great too! It has a retro grey knight feel to it.

Kudos!
