My Tau mercs are always patchwork conversions, and my Custodes and Emperor models are third-party sculpts. I also want more Mechanicus just because.

. . . aaaaaaaaaaaaand of course, if they returned BFG and Inquisitor 54mm in plastic. I'd be dropping crazy money on orders.

They really need to get on releasing a new SOB line. I've heard that the plastics are designed, just not mass released yet from a GW employee recently.

Sometimes I have dreams about that happening. They used to be very, very pleasant dreams, where I felt very happy until I woke up.

One of the more recent ones wasn't so pleasant. Because I realized I was dreaming and broke down in tears and just cried and cried in my dream. Because I had what I wanted right in front of me but knew that it was impossible for it to even exist, so I was only dreaming about it.

I had a very, very peculiar sensation in that dream. I could actually feel my entire body, in precisely the position it was in while sleeping on my bed, while still dreaming.

Eldar Exodites - if standalone Harlequins could happen between now and 2nd ed, then so could Exodites.

Plastic Avatar of Khaine and Avatar of Ynnead (this might actually be just around the corner with latest "shards" of failed awakening ritual), plastic Aspect Warriors, new Phoenix Lords sculpts.

Proper Tyranid codex, plastic *-vores and Lictors; re-released Necromunda rulebook (with old playstyle, with maybe CC modernised) with modern model range; non-imperial terrain and accesories, non-imperial-centric campaigns, etc… 8th edition with more 2nd rather than 5th ed feeling to it (but that will sadly never happen).

A ruleset the makes Harlequins viable or even just a HQ choice would have me rushing to the counter with cash in hand...

I’ve got odds and ends of IG, Harlequins, Deathwatch, and BA on the shelf. But with what GW charges for codexes, I’m not adding to them. It’s bad enough shelling out for the two armies I am maintaining (SM and Eldar) especially with the 2 year updates for both of them. If I didn’t have to shell out for a new book every 2-4 years, I would get minis to flesh out my collection, and grow them into allied forces.

To be honest the one thing keeping me from dropping tons of money on GW is not the lack of cool products, but the lack of space in the hobby budget. GW has been drilling pitches right over the plate, but I can’t swing at them. The new boxes with Deathwatch, start collecting Eldar, etc. Would love to grab them, but I can’t.

Back to the spirit of this thread, one thing I would like to see is plastic aspect warriors for Eldar. I really want to field some scorpions, and maybe a squad of spiders, but finecast holds me back. Just painted up some old metal hawks, and they are a top heavy mess. Would grab another squad of them in plastic.

Eldar might catch a lot of flack for overpowered rules, but large chunks of their model range is as ancient as their race.

I'm suprised no one has said it yet......

A Dark Eldar codex that makes sense and includes at least 1 Reaver jetbike HQ option (Archon, Succubus or both, I don't care)

A new Eldar codex that tones down the WK (make him only 5 wounds), makes all Distort weapons -1 to the D chart, -2 for any Scythes, and makes Scatter lasers cost 20ppm on WIndriders. Maybe now I can play Eldar without being TFG
Oh and remove all the extra rules that were added to Aspect warriors in 7th. Exarchs should be the ones with special snow-flake rules, not the basic squad.
Release this with plastic Aspect warriors and I'm sold.

It IS a big list but it rounds-out a bunch of models to allow us to enact a multitude of 40k novels.
Bringing 40k back to squad street fighting rather than a full war is what I see here.
It would lay the groundwork for a 28mm scale Inquisitor game.
Adeptus Arbites are awesome and having them removed with Necromunda has made me sad.

The conversion potential is great. That's what I'd love to see, kits that make fun conversions for use with things like the inquisitor codex. Theres a lot of potential with the model line as is. But with clever planning they could release a couple of games off the back of these types of kit. Like you said 28mm Inquistor game, I'd add things like Necromunda, and Mordheim to that.

Plastic sisters priced competitively with GW's other kits. Either a range that covers what's available in the current codex, or...

A regular physical codex that doesn't contain anything that can't be built with the existing plastic kits. With new hotness.

Codex: Black Templars. A Black Templars supplement. Anything for Black Templars that isn't completely awful.

Yes. This.

About half of GW's product lines are human in some way, and the xenos races are very used up now.

Ah, I apologize for the comment on Necrons. Ignoring that post, I wouldn't mind if GW updated the basic Warriors and Immortals. I wouldn't necessarily buy them, but hopefully they'd be more intresting to paint, maybe with more iconography. Of course if that doesn't make sense in the overall perspective of the Necrons that is fine too. Once again I apologize for the comment.

Totally revamped Chaos Space Marines that A) match the fluff as being the Arch-Enemy and the bane of the Imperium, B) Don't look like sci-fi Chaos Warriors, and C) Allow for playing as the Nine Legions, or as renegade legions e.g. Red Corsairs or warbands or as Lost & the Damned e.g. cultists and Traitor Guard.

I feel like, outside of a few very notable exceptions, Lords of War are pretty meh.

Generic Weapon upgrade sprues for all the races.

For example:

An imperial upgrade sprue that has one of every special weapon, a power ax, power fist, and power sword.

Something that simple and packaged in a blister pack would sell like hotcakes to any Space marine, IG, Sisters, Inquisition, or Chaos Marine players that don't want to get robbed by bits sellers.

Modern Necromunda kits.

Outside of specialist games...since I only play old school 40K I'd really just jump on some plastic Exodite Dragon Knights or something. Not much else.

Congrats, that's alpharius and/or omegon.

Left off my other dream vehicle kit - the IG troop truck/armored limo/scout car.

My thought was a tractor trailer arrangement (troop truck/command truck) but the tractor could also be sold on its own as a staff car/armored limo (hard top) or scout car/jeep (open top).

Wargames Exclusive and Puppets have since scratched this itch nicely but I can still dream.

I would say a new IG dex, but given the travesty that is GW's rules, I think I'd just leave it.

I'd take out a line of credit to finance the purchase of 5000pts worth of plastic Adepta Sororitas, provided they also updated the models and added more variants. They're so cool and have gotten precisely 0 love from GW since I first learnt about them in 2000.

My answer 2 months ago would have been Sisters of Battle, sell every army and go full force into the army I love. But now that deathwatch is released, I am happy that my love for deathwatch is now more than just a special looking bolter/pauldron and homebrew rules I can't use where I play. I noticed there was a fair number of dependent situations with the models I would guess at this one:

Plastic Sisters needed but if we get them...

We need a new LOW! So some horrifically flamey/melty device looking like a chunk of church wandering around the battlefield is needed but...

SOB need a new Codex! Because the new bling is kinda old and not as competitive but...

We need an 8th edition because they still will not be as fun to play if the game is not as good....

But if GW starts up supported tournaments I would pay for those so I have fun and they get feedback to...

Write FAQs and Suppliements! So my army will always be updated and competitive so I keep buying my plastic SOB models...

So GW stays in business because they did these awesome things for me and I want them to stay in business forever.

Have you considered buying battle for vendros? It's like a 50% discount across the board.

I would if I could find it. I've been to everything nearby that could even remotely be a hobby shop and turned up nothing.

Death Masque is greater than a 50% discount. Buy two of them and you have two playable 1000+ point armies.

Again the Imperial Knights did technically fulfill that requirement, but only because the entire range only has two models and both came in the box. If Death Masque came with a Solitaire and a Shadowseer I would have to fulfill that pledge again (although I am gonna get it regardless, but I need another paycheque first ).

For Orks, a new Wartrakk/Warbuggy set. Give it two sprues inside for $20, include a bike wheel, 4 Buggy wheels, and a set of tank treads, a couple of different ways to stick it together, and a few weapon options (Big Shootas, rockkits, Skorcha) ... I'd pick up five, right out of the gate.

Thinking about my original post, I'd also be willing to drop a good bit of money if they released an updated version of Epic, with plastic tanks (especially Imperial Guard, Eldar and Space Marine) and definitely Titans. I'd like it in the old 6mm, but wouldn't complain if it was the same scale as Flames of War (10 mm, I think?).
