Well I had an old carnifex sitting around & I wanted an ork Dread. So, here is my attempt at a looted carnifex. C&C welcome.

Okay... VERY anti-fluff... but one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

I'm quite fond of the Grot idea. See jamessonein's post on his Ork Weirdboy for ideas.

Cool, but needs some sort of scars or control cables or something to suggest where the painboy installed his 'brane kontrolla'.

Ok this is a great Idea for a conversion.

but why not just use him as a warboss in mega armor. it seems a little more feesable. and yes go with the grott idea with a little more work and a red paintjob of course.

I love the idea. This ranks up there with the Looted Defiler and Looted Monolith as things that you shouldn't be able to loot, but still do because it's awesome.

But more wires and chains, to make it clear it's not just a Carnifex with a howdah.

I like it. I think it's more than feasible. The Waaagghhhh is powerful enough it might override synapse if they've had the Carnifex long enough.

Or you could always dangle a grot on a pole in front of it.

Needs bit and bridle, or whatever the gak you stick in a horses mouth is called. Other than that, interesting concept.

I LOVE the concept of a tamed Carnifex. You should give the rider a tesla-whip or a cattleprod or something instead of his slugga; he would look a lot like those ancient egyptian elephant riders.

Well I think I'm finished. Let me know it there is anything I need to fix before he gets primed.

I like how you've used the old carnifex with the new head to give it the same body part proportions of an Ork. Big head, haunched over, over sized arms, stubby legs.

Sweet looking. Would be interesting if as Darksword said, replace one of the Fex claws, with my vote would be a Power Klaw.

Awesome idea! I like it. Some thoughts.

Power claw would be cool. Or something to orkify the fex a little. Now it looks a little too much like an ork seat stuck on top of a fex. Maybe some small plate riveted to the fex to mend some hole in the carapace on an arm or leg? Or replace an eye or a joint with a orky bionic one. Or some metal teeth riveted to one of the claws. Some such small orkifications to show how this nid was repaired and improved by the orks.

A piece like this is riffing off the 2nd edition fluff strongly so some evidence of "brane surjury" should be present. Maybe even just a scar across the forehead? ("Oi wunce we got troo da armer in dat fings skull, it woz no problem wid da kuntrols. Red butten leff, bloo butten rite. Hurr, hurr. Oi, did aye say red leff?...")
