I love your painting , definitely pro .

There is an painting and modeling section on forum, the MODs will probably move this
there soon.

About the snow, it looks really good, but how do i put this ( im probably wrong since
im the only one that thinks this way >< ... )

Flaked snows like yours people tend to call it realistic ( granted its realistic to the snow we see irl )
But imo ( i might just be a baka :< ) , flaked might not look realsitic on miniatures due to scale
( since mini is sized down / zoomed out ) there should
be no way *scaled down snow could yield visible flakes.

The shot is at a bad angle. The crack in is armor is on his left chest. The dried blood is on along his neck and cloak.

Amazing.

Some of the best painting I've ever seen on here.

The snow looks good (I've never really been a fan of the puffed up white blobs on bases, it looks to me like the models are standing upon amorphous marshmallows). The edges around the base could probably do with some touching up, but other than that...Just perfect.

Ever considered giving a Golden Daemon competition a shot?

Thanks for the kind words. If the Golden Daemon was within reasonable driving distance I would consider it. Closest one to me is Indy.

Looks god. Are those NMMs on the dwarf & dead body?
Anyway, they look good.

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?

I been painting for quite some time now. I would guess painting seriously for about 9 years now.

Yes they are NMM. Although, on the dead guy, the blends need to be better. You shouldn't be able to see the transition between the colors. I really should fix it and repost.

Hoe did you get the powdery (sorry, can't think of a better word for it) snow effect on the front of the dwarf's base?

I wnat to do some snow bases for my SOB army, and would love to hear of a non-blobby technique!

You paint beautifully.

This is my favourite so far, the colours used and the skin tone especially are just glorious. The jedi apprentice is a close second.

I used just super glue and Woodland Scenic Snow. But to answer you honestly, after a few months of moving the piece around the upper snow did fall off and was left with an ice crusty base.
