The Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion
Okay after much procrastination, I finally got around to photographing (most of) my Tau. I'll try to update whenever I have something new. Comments and criticism appreciated!

On the commanders, because I thought it would make them stand out more, on the stealths, to denote rank, red for shas'ui, purple for shas'vre. Since you get a Stealth shas'vre in every box of three, I plan on painting a few red for friendly games so that I can avoid buying more stealths to fill out my teams.

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
-- Fifty-Four -- Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty eight to bill for professional services.
Breathtaking work. Great subtle yet visible highlights. An often underestimated feat on those boxy tau models.
A detail I especially like is the blood running "off the edge" of O'shova. It's a great 'wink' to the idea that this model is not really standing on a cylindrical platform. A humorous but classy touch.
I really like the painting style. I'm a bit confused though about the basic crisis suits, it seems different ones just have random different sections painted red or white.

Each different equipment setup has it's own Paint scheme. I didn't group them in any particular order in the photos so the effect is kind of lost though. I only have one or two battles suits fully painted for each scheme right now so it's yet to really come together.

But seriously, excellent work.
Their are worse things to be compared to. I seem to remember this cartoon.

That's awesome, cartoons are probably the only good thing that came of the 80's.
Just assuming it was an 80's era anyway, I don't remember that particular cartoon so I could be wrong. Anyway, nice army though, very clean and the different schemes for the battlesuit HQs just works for me.

My WIP iridium armor commander. I plan to do much more to the torso, but I don't have any idea how to model his arms. Any thoughts on how to make good iridium armor arms? I have a ton of Tau bits.

Small update, I finished the head of my iridium armor commander.
Also, my WIP stealthsuits. I'll try to have a squad finished and posted tomorrow.

Putting the finishing touches on the Red comet. Here's some WIP pics.

Beautiful Tau.. great work. Not a fan of the purple stealth, but thats just my personal preferance. Love the red. Great work done on all the extra modeling.

My Ethereal guard.
I'm thinking of repainting these guys (the guard, I'm happy with the ethereal) without the orange but I know I should really concentrate on other models. Should I repaint them? Someone help me make up my mind.

I really like the color choices you've taken throughout the entire army. Even though you use different colors, they all seem to be taken from the same palette, so they still match. I can't wait to see your army finished. Great job so far!
