Simple enough question.
Although I am sure we are at least competent in our favourite games, which game is it that, try as you might you just cannot help but suck aggregiously at?
For me, it's Blood Bowl. I dunno what it is. I do enjoy playing it from time to time, but I don't think I have ever scored more than a couple of Touchdowns, let alone come anywhere near to winning a game. I just can't seem to get my head around the tactics needed to win. I set up my multiple blocks, and then all my players decide to fall over, and my opponent romps to victory. Every. Single. Time.
Now, the dice might well be out to get me in this one game, but surely, surely it can't just be them. I don't think I make massive mistakes, but clearly I must be doing.
I mean, I have *never* lost a game of Man'o'war. I rule at that game. BFG is touch and go. 40k? Pretty respectable win ratio, Fantasy is even better. Epic...somewhat out of practice (would help if I could actually find my sodding Ork army!) but I get the new combined arms approach and when to choose which manouver etc.
I'm pretty bad at bloodbowl, but I have to say that even at 40k, I'll have simply awful streaks along with my good streaks. I won my clubs tournament of champions last month, and last week I took second from last.
I'm getting better at Warmachine, but not really awesome.

but seriously i fail at new Warhammer Fantasy, and by new i mean anything since 5th ed? I was unbeatable back when there were the winds of magic and such but now I just plain fail.

*edit* Never mind, the one who finds the bullet is the _loser_. In that case, I guess I'm pretty good.
"-Nonsense, the Inquisitor and his retinue are our hounoured guests, of course we should invite them to celebrate Four-armed Emperor-day with us..." Thought for the Day - Never use the powerfist hand to wipe.
I'm a bit weak at WFB. I dominate as marines in space hulk. Sarge's storm bolter usually jams turn 3 and he in turn uses it to bludgeon 20 'stealers to death....
i think im pretty dam good at 40k (especially with nids)...
fantasy, not so much...
computer game wise, i am complete balls at guild wars, as well as combat arms...
not enough time playing to be good at either, but i still love playing...
runescape however, is pretty much own fest for me...
and chess, checkers, etc...
i might as well not even try...

If da fings go boom da grot be 'appy. If 'ORE fings go BABOOM da grot be reaaally 'appy. If EVIN MO' FINGS GO BABOOM.....da grot die frum eksitment. But grots iz easy ta replace so it dont matter dat much.
I'm pretty awful at 40k - although I have been getting better.
(I have a great time playing anyways though. )
Blood Bowl might be taking the prize soon though as my gaming group is trying to get a league going.
It's been years since I've played BB, but I'm pretty sure I suck at it...
My goblin team in Blood Bowl had the worst record in my league, I was like Derby County. I only really had one play I could ever score with: rush forwards with about half my gobbos, the other half pass the ball back to a gobbo next to a troll, who lobs the gobbo holding the ball into, or more frequently, nowhere near the endzone, hope for a lucky bounce and bingo! TOUCHDOWN! I scored about twice. Had a blast though, I love that game.
Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink.
I'm reasonably good at 40K. I win more often than I lose, so that's good enough for me.
I do get some pretty horrible streaks. I wouldn't feel as bad about those times if my regular opponent's dice wouldn't start acting like they were on fire right at the same time mine landed in the cooler...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Come on back to G$ and we'll see about this, m'fren. O course, I DO wanna hear about some =I= in your list and mixing it up with extremnmnmn(54)'s K-bomb army. You HAVE TO crack those raiders open, though.
But "you can be a winner at the game of life!", didn't anyone tell you that in school?
Yes, the title + original post = reminder of bad commercial.

He probably meant the Kobayshi-Maru incident - you know, where Kirk cheated by reprogramming the game?
Doesn't take much to figure this one out.

All of them?
Seriously me and victory have little in common.
Years back I did used to win at risk on a regular basis
Since I started back wargaming last year,I have revelled
in some glorious slaughters of my armies!Last week I
used a Necron army for the first time.Lo and behold
I meted out glorious carnage to my opponent and yet
because of the victory points cobblers technically I
lost even though I'd taken out 3 tanks,a mortar platoon
and a infantry platoon!

I suck at race to the galaxy as well. But I hate that game so I chalk it off to disinterest even though I really dont understand the game very well.
I also suck at warmahordes. Which is a shame because I really like the premise of the game.
Race for the Galaxy seems to require multiple thought processes simultaneously: your
cards, your opponents' cards, and every single card in play. If you play obvious, then
everyone will use your obvious strategy to build themselves up by leaps and bounds.
That's when you lose.
Warmahordes took me six months of weekly losses to win a single game.
