When I first started collecting Dark Eldar, I knew I wanted a different color scheme than the typical blues and purples. Their motif took me a long time to get right but I'm happy with the colors I settled on, and most of the feedback I receive is pretty positive. I enjoy hearing from all of you as well. Some of you may have seen these before, but I'm just now posting them in the appropriate forum! X-D This is by no means my entire army, just a sampling to give you the idea of what they look like. Wow, that is the kinda thing I wish I'd thought of before I started painting. A project involving converted guardians for DE warriors has long been something I've thought about doing. My primary fear is that when new DE finally emerge, their new look will make my conversions look like

I have a stupid question, when you freehand stuff like that, do you use a brush? or something else entirely.

I know when I write in scrollwork on space marine heraldry I use caligraphy ink, it comes out much thinner.

Did you freehand all the flames, or did you have a template/picture you used?

The blending looks nice on them. Can you post your blending colors?

Like everyone else said, this is a very nice army. Excellent work on the skulls. The tail on the Ravager is exquisite, too. The orange just explodes amidst the other vehicles. Well done.

You should REALLY invest some time and brainpower to come up with a different basing solution for that Ravager, though. The 400 bases you have supporting it now are really ugly and seriously detract from the vehicle. Those bases were the first thing my eye keyed on when looking at the pics of it:
