Well it's been a long two weeks, but I've managed to squeak by with some spare time to update the site and take pics of everything. Can't wait to get a game in with them finished!

What did you do for the rusted patina effect? That color is perfect, and the technique makes it seem all too real.

WOW! Seeing them all finally on the finished display board is immaculate. Great job GMM! Really like the spray painting on the buildings. Reminds me of the video game Half-Life 2 or the movie Children of Men.

I just want to say, that the pictures posted here certainly does not do the army justice when seen in person.

I considered myself extremely fortunate to face off against Brandon in round 2 of the 40k Championship on Sunday. Having followed his blog here, I was hoping I'd have a chance to at least see his army. When I found I would actually get a chance to play against it, well let's just say my excitement reached a nerd-like peak.

As I'm sure he'll post in a day or so, his army won Player's Choice and Best Painted for the 40k Championship, gaining him some REALLY cool swag that I'm totally jealous of. I just want to say a big congrats to him and I look forward to seeing any new projects he does in the future.
