Maybe you could add a "Charred" effect on the end of the gun to make it look like its actually been fired.

next in line are some Dire Avengers, im planning on doing them in this green colour as well, but to make them different from the guardians they will get more colour combinations.

Oh man... The color selection is simply BRILLIANT on those Guardians. Personally, I am not a fan of the same old Aspect Warrior paint scheme for every army. I come from the school of thought that armies look better with a unified color scheme.
Those Guardians though, wow. Beautiful.

thanks everybody for the kind comments. I just got back from a holiday in Barcelona, im gonna start painting today again. expect some updates next week.

scab red basecoat, blood red layered, highlight blazing orange, hihlight blazing / golden yellow 50/50, highlight golden yellow.
