This is from a non-LotR WIP thread over at One Ring. Tone down the fantasy a little and you could have an excellent Maidenworld base concept.

i used guardian models. stuck a warp spider exarch/autarch backpack on them.
and for the gun i used the shuri cat from the guardian, and stuck the barrel of a deathspinner on it. quite simple, but very effective for some awesome models

Really loving these guys, the old school feel, the scheme colors are fairly unique vs. the usual, and everything is super crisp and tight.

Great job!

As a fellow Eldar player...(with a mere fratcion of your painting skill) this army is tits. Absolutely top notch. Nothing over the top, beautiful crisp clean lines - and a beautiful colour scheme (something hard to find on Eldar models). Brilliant stuff. I'm sure I'm necro-posting this, but I was just searching Eldar threads. Nice work.

I like these models allot. The sharp highlighting gives them a very different look, like it!

I love your crisp paint jobs on all your work Develain.

I'm jealous of how you can actually paint the gems on the firedragons helmets.

I gave up!

Great work

I really like your style of painting, very impressed with what you have produced so far, the colors are such a nice change and look perfect with your lining technique, it's how Eldar should look in my opinion, elegant and clean, the warp spiders are great, good use of kit bashing there! my favorite model is the Eldar skimmer you did, it just looks so 'right' :-)

Very good work. I'm still trying to figure out your conversions on the Falcon; it looks like a brand new canopy and a cool way to do the weapons (or were they converted Wave Serpents?)

The crisp painting and meticulous conversions really make this army stand out. Really looking forward to some more updates.
