Well I gotta say even though the cadian command squad is overpriced, there's lots of nice bits in it. I saved some cadians from the last box of 20 I got just so I could make better use of the command squad box. I also used the two valk gunners. Enjoy.

The medkit itself is silly. It looks like a roll of toilet paper. I suppose when you gotta go, you gotta go. And the head is kind of odd too. It looks like he's got constipation and is screaming in pain as it gets stuck.

Wow, what a wide variety of heads. Looks great, however, I have to agree with HBMC on the face of the medic.

Nice figs except one..

The Melltabomb carrying running guards man (the second one with the las gun in his right hand).

His right gun arm needs to be swinging towards the back. He looks off balance and not natural. Try running carring 5 Lbs in each hand leaning forward.. with both arms forward... very awkward.

Nice but I must agree with the posts before me about the medic.The new Cadian medic is a bit silly to me as mentioned before the 'bandages' sort of look more like the medic is looking through a scroll or something.

So how many torsos come in the command squad? I've heard rumors that its more than five.

I think there's one of those horrific new GW fad things thrown in.

"Hey, guys, after we've already killed off half of our paying customers, how about we bore the rest into insanity with my new idea: BODY AND LEG PARTS! Genius!"

I'm pretty sure there was more than 5. I had 2 left over when I was done building so possibly as much as 7.

I think the catachan box has some better medic bits. I just like the symbol on the helmet being different. He def has the "holy gak this is gonna require a lot of paper towel" expression on his face.

As for the sniper, the head is from the cadian command squad, it has sortof a snooty expression on it but the hair is cool, it's all slicked back.

I wouldn't fit going back, I used one of the old sentinel pilot arms.

Lovley conversions on these guys but i gotta agree with atra angelis about the running vet with the meltabomb, it just looks weird like hes tripping over and is putting his hands in his way but forgot to drop his things he's holding.

For the rest of the people out there, you know that the command squads (both of them) are just well camouflaged bit boxes

I wish I could love the respirators, but I don't - and it's not any fault of Crablezworth. They just remind me of the transparent respirators you sent a handful of Star Wars "Proofs of Purchase" to get a free pack of. While they were supercool when you were 7 years old, they just sort of sit on the face like an afterthought rather than looking like a nice tight seal against the face.

I like a couple of those officers. Nice use of the Valkyrie crew.

He's shocked because he just got the new issue his favorite magazine, Playguard. Instead of the "Women of the Adeptus Astartes"¹ issue he was expecting, they ran a "Xenos" issue.

Maybe he isn't running? I think he was just standing there, wondering what he was going to do with his heavy Melta Bomb when he was plowed into by a Medic that wasn't looking where he was going because he was staring at a magazine. Not running... knocked over.






Don't forget to get those nasty mold lines. There's some big ones in there. Drill out your barrels, too.

yes it does look like picard. I have an idea, if the squad is in a transport it should be named the "enterprise". lol that would be weird

About half way done on the paintjobs

I have the cadian command set, and there are extra officer torsos in the mix, one with body armor and officer plate, one with just the officer plate, and one with medals and no body armor. Yet another GW-ism of idiotic battlefield procedures. Either a) you're wearing this big triangular medallion over your body armor, b) Wearing this big triangular medallion with no body armor, or c) no body armor, but lots of medals. All of which scream "hit me in the chest!"

wow... i hate you so much, now i have to buy myself a command squad
