I'm trying to think of a word to describe the army.. Flaming comes to mind, but it just doesn't seem drastic enough.
OTOH, it's very fine work. VERY fine. Especially the freehanded stuff (banner, etc).
Not sure I'd pay for it though....

Well I enjoy all armies I make. Barring a Groundhog Day style situation where I paint the same Ultramarine army week after week, I never get bored or burnt out.

Well luckily for me there are a lot of other people out there interested in fully painted armies I also dont make up arbitrary prices, its based on retail prices with a discount since I get to pick the list and paint scheme. Also its already done, no waiting to get it.

"Flaming"? Why? Because it's pink and purple and has sequins and hearts on it? I don't get it...
Alright, in all seriousness you have a point, but I don't think there's any need to get "drastic". It's a joke army, no need to take offense.
As far as the price goes though, I do think $999 is a little high for a starting price.

Well, I think the painting is first class and the theme is AWESOME!!!!
It reminds me that this is a game of little plastic toy soldiers.....I'd love to buy this and turn up at Warhammer World in Nottingham....imagine the looks I'd get, just awesome.
I love the guy with the Plasma rifle, looks like he's being ultra gay and turning away from the shot....comic!
I'd like to see more stuff like this, up yours to the "Grim Dark"....lets have some Grim lovelies instead!

I have no issue with "homosexual" themed models if that is what you are implying (I mean 300 inspired armies are cool: THis is SPARTA!!!), but I do hate Anime, well not anime per se but people who get a little too into it and have to incorporate it into every facet of their lives...
