Ah, now the earlier pics make sense!

This would make a great 'Duel' diorama, showing him knocked over by an appropriate opponent, e.g. a tiny angry goblin...

looks great, but seriously, is that the only place on the model to stick the metal rod inro :O

So that's why they call him a tripod....

I honestly believe you couldn't have found two more disturbing angles to take those pictures...

Loincloths aside, looks like a very cool model. I like how are always great for using normal sized objects in interesting ways. I always loved that one giant (I think perhaps from Rackham?) that was using a town mile-marker as a mace.

Looking forward to the next set of crotch shots!

Honestly I thought that shots showing how the conversion was achieved would be helpful...

You guys do realise that 'jump up and down' does not mean 'lie on his back with a rod in his crotch'?

As I have not yet developed the ability to permanently levitate objects in a static position relative to its base, a stand is needed.


More pics tonight when I'm done work so that those without a clue can see the giant in position.

I think most people understand the end result of this conversion is not going to be a large man lying in the missionary or doggy-style positions, but the pictures do somewhat suggest otherwise! I think in reality it's much more fun to poke fun even if you know what the artist is intending

On a more serious note, I'd love to see what kind of basing you're planning.

giants come with 3 sets of feet; the 3 toe set for an O&G giant, a 5 toe set for a human giant and a hooved set for a chaos giant

As for the base...

Maybe 'hide' the necessary rod by masking it with a tree stump?

Either way, this is one original conversion!

Alpharius has a good idea there, the rod does look too blatant, Half a tree stump would be perfect.

And I really like this model now seeing it on it's base more, just looks great !
