And best of all, there are no duplicate models from what I've seen so far and all Terminators are named. Pretty sweet.

Heard a rumor on BOLS that Dakka is limiting us to one SH thread for every limited edition copy on a 1:1 ratio.

I plan on starting MY Space Hulk thread later tonight. I'm gonna post some pics of the box contents and other cool stuff...

Ha?

It is nice to see the parts breakdown that finally tells us that there are 12 terminators in there!

And anyway, the "cyber-altered Task Unit" is a pretty neat little do-dad.

I just checked the pictures. Bad news. :(

The models aren't compatible with games of 40k.
You guys probably knew that though.

WAT?

As pointed out in another thread, putting them on a 40mm would be too big for the corridor spaces. There's nothing to stop you putting them ON 40mm bases and using them in 40k.

However if these were say, 20mm or 35mm figures THEN you would have a hard time using them in 40k.

Yea the SH terminators and stealers look a LOT better than their other counterparts. You can't get a better deals worth of these models via retail and that doesn't include the model I'm most excited about: the dead SM on the throne. Thats going to be a great objective in 40k!

They weren't designed to be. They were designed to be compatable with Space Hulk and Space Hulk only.

Of course putting a base on one isn't exactly difficult.

And when will people get it through their skulls that the minis in Space Hulk were designed for *gasp* Space Hulk and were not, in fact, designed to give you new Termies for Warhammer 40,000.

you throwing around your post count or padding to get to 10k

btw, what happens when you get to 10k? Do you get a unique category name or a golden keyboard or what?

Just realized looking at my count how pathetic it is. 500 posts for 4 years or so? 120 per year, 12 a month. Tad embarrassing.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

So what if 40MM bases make them wider than the Space Hulk corridors? It's not like it comes with walls.. Some people. Anyway, I've seen two more pics on the GW website, and now I believe that the Blood Angels are calling me. I may be selling some Genestealers shortly.

Yes, some people realized that if you have bases spilling out over the squares on ALL sides makes it impossible for marines to form a line in adjoining squares as the problem gets worse and worse with each marine.

And I agree with you on BA.

I think your user title gets changed to "Going Outside for a Change" and Yak bans you for 6 months.

Could be worse. JHDD and Gwar! all managed to trump my post count in a fraction of the time. I've been here for years now. And let's not even talkn about Gonads. The guy must get Frequent Flier Miles from his posts - it's the only way to explain his count.

you can magnetize the bigger bases on , or pin them to make them detachable when you feel like playing space hulk. I feel like starting a nid army now . going to wait a little when everyone on ebay is selling the minis piece meal for cheap though.

There's definately some cool stuff in there. And lots of it.

But it still looks like one of those things I would buy, use once, and let it collect dust.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

Only true for the Termies, two of the GS sprues are the same, at least in the unboxing pictures.
