yes. I can field 2500 of pure grey knight goodness.

15 terminators (2 grandmasters), 25 power armor knights (like 8 psycannons), 3 land raiders and 2 dreadnoughts

Yeah, i'm in the same sad boat. About 2.5k in painted GK's with a ton of unpainted ones just waiting around.

Yeah I got two squads of 8 GK 9 with the justicars a squad of Terminators 1 Grandmaster. Cortez a massive retinue as well as 2 vindicar assassins 20 inquisitorial stormtroopers 2 deamon hosts and another inquisitor. I also have 2 LR and 2 chimeras. By far my favorite army ever.

I own the codex,bought a couple of models but never really got an army going.So in a way I do collect them,but not as my main army(well at least for the moment).

Two people in our group collect GK's, once since they came out and one just recently. The former can probably do 6K if he tries, the latter about half that.

I myself prefer the harder stuf - pure DH with no GK's. If you're going to lose your games, at least do so with some style!!!

About 2.5k worth of Pure Grey knights, look cool, fluff's great, only problem is that mine tend to die quite quickly!

Deadshane wins tournament games with them, and I hear many batreps of GKs smashing top-tier lists. They look bad at first, but then you learn how to play them properly.

Being able to instagib a Lash Prince or Carnifex ain't too shabby either.

Oh damn now i have both Grey Knights and Imperial Guard in my head... I already own some Cadian bits but they need stripping, i think they are wrecked.

my 3 raider GK list is the bane of every army at my LGS except marines...

I don't think i've ever lost to nids or orks with it.

and I can even give marines a good run so long as they aren't vulkan meltaspam lists.

I mean 3 raiders at 1500 points

its a little cruel to some people, but it works.

fortunately there are like no tau players where I play, so I don't have to worry about railguns.

I run Grey Knights with my Guard army. Some Terminators and Grey Knights work well with my Guard. Since adding them, i have lost but one game. Many draws and won 3. So i would say my record with them at the moment is:

3 - 1 - 5 W/L/D

I am looking for more, so if anyone is selling them I would like to know. I am constantly looking on ebay for deals.

I've collected them forever. I'll be playing them once yesterday's Forgeworld order gets here.

I can't wait to try ST in Psycannon Razorbacks and the Pre-heresy Land Raiders look fantastic.

I'm somewhat satisfied with the current codex. I'd be happy with a few point revisions and psycannon razorbacks officially added.

I win or draw most of my games, and have only lost to 'Nidzilla lists and Ork Hordes in Objective games only. In point of fact, in Kill Point games, I do exceptionally well; it's Objective games I have issues with due to the low model count of my common Tri-Raider list. Of course, I'm working on it.

As far as winning goes, that all comes with learning how to use them. True, at first I was not very good, and lost even to the simplest lists because I just went around throwing my figures, now I focus them the way they should be, and win on a somewhat regular basis, although for me, Draws are wins, since the army is very difficult.

I'm actually thinking about starting GKs. I've been playing Codex Marines, and would like to start a new army and I'm being drawn toward either GK or BT. I just love the GK models, even though they are all metal. ::shudder::

I play GK - don't know for sure how many points of them I have, though.

20 Terminators, 30 PAGK, 3 dreads, one land Raider.

(then there is the 60 ISTs, multiple inquisitors, and various retinue members).

Last tournament I went to was a smaller 1000 point event designed to ease in some new players into a tournament setting, and my 2nd game was against a pure GK player. His list was a very one-trick pony, but it was deliciously simple at the same time: two land-raiders with GK power armor squads and a Brother Captain Stern. He just castled in the LRs for as long as possible, sitting on his objectives as my Chimeras slowly popped like kernels of corn in a microwave. Great guy though, I had a blast playing against him.

I have been playing with a squad of Grey Knights in power armor for my Blood Angels as an allied troop choice the past couple of months and I must say they are an excellent unit. It's nice to be able to get a cheap psychic hood in the army and they are quite good at both shooting and close combat. I run mine in another squad's rhino and this makes a big difference.

I have 2500pts of painted Grey Knights waiting for a new codex. I hope it will not suck. I also have 4000pts ot Nidz waiting for a new codex but at least they get some play time in 5th.
