Subject: Rotten Tomatoes releases their Worst 100 of the last Decade
Notable selctections: I felt the work of Uwe Bol needed to breach the Top 20, but oh well.
There was a few movies on the list that I enjoyed. Those were few and far between of course. These include, Envy (74) - It's not the greatest movie, but good for few laughs. I think if somebody other than Stiller was cast the movie would have worked better...
Ok nevermind that was the only movie that I saw on the list that didn't make me cringe.

Dungeon Siege: In The Name of the King should be higher-ranked. I had to break up watching it into 3 sittings over a week or two, it was so painful.
It's clear the actors involved starred in it just for laughs, the list of big names (past and present) is just ridiculous.
Surprised Redline was in the Top 10, but I like watching fast exotic cars go fast. That doesn't make it a "good" movie, but worse than Battlefield: Earth? That's hard to swallow.
barlio wrote:I actually "watched" House of the Dead. It took me 2 years and 5 viewings. I couldn't watch more than 30minutes at a time.
You did better than me,I turned it off half way through and I LOVE zombie films, hell I'll even watch those "return of the living dead"sequals that are on scifi all the time.
I'm actualy suprised it (along with Battlefield Earth) didn't rank higher (lower) on the worst list.

I am amazed that that steaming peanut studded turd "Year One" is not on that list. I turned that movie off after 5 minutes. Tried to watch it again, but insisted my wife gave it back to whoever it was who loaned it to her. I left punching in the face as "Thanks" as an open option for her.
Master of Disguise was the most painful movie I ever saw. I'm glad it was low on the list.

The Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion
Ecks Vs Sever was directed by Kaos. I think that kind of says it all. (yet it wasn't bad enough to prevent Greg Land from tracing from the movie poster.)

I tried to watch Krull once. About halfway through, I tried to swallow my tongue to end the pain.

Good to see Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, and Meet the Spartans made the list, as they are truly the worse comedy movies I've ever had the misfortune to watch. This is what we're expected to find funny? What happened to the good old days of Monty Python and Mel Brooks?
I blame MTV.
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Garret is the consumer that these god-awful parodies are designed for apparently.
After seeing the preview of Meet the Spartans... I puked, farted, and cried blood at the same time. Same with Scary Movie 2+.... or 3+, I dunno, none of them were actually that funny.
There are plenty of bad movies that people like... and in all honesty, only God knows why...
And if I am not mistake the last good thing that Chris Kattan made was... WHAT IS LOVE? BABY DON'T HURT ME... DON'T HURT ME... No more...
YES!!! YES!!! ROCK OUT!!! ROCK OUT!!! YEEEEESSSSS!!!
Oh... and Jim Carrey wins a cookie for this scene... yes a cookie, infused with awesomeness. That role was made for him .

I really hoped that nobody would ever find the 'X Movie' series funny at all. Not everyone has good taste, I see. Honestly, I wish we had more satirical and intelligent movies, but it seems that toilet humour, raunchy jokes, and swearing is the norm for American comedies.
Maybe I'm just being too British. Curse my love of well-crafted satire and wit.

Because Krull wasn't released in this decade...it was released in the 80's.
And if you're not old enough to apprciate it, you won't like it.
To me it's a classic because I grew up watching it.

I wouldn't say bad taste,it's just what you enjoy.
I myself have shelves filled with awful B movie horror and sci fi that I love, and most of my friends roll their eyes at,enjoy what you enjoy, and rest assuard some one will always critizize you for it.

Did I miss Van Helsing on the list? There are some truly putrid movies on that list, but Van Helsing should be ranked ahead of most.
It's kinda funny that Whiteout was the first movie it opens up to. I was just telling someone the other day that Kate Beckinsale apparently never learned that she can say "no" to scripts...
