Is there any chance we will see a facepalm one? I expect it will be fairly low priority, but I'd find one very useful.

Make a good one and we'll add it, but we lack the artistic talent to do it ourselves and dont want to trouble the godlike user who did the originals any more.

Adobe used to do trial versions of their animation software, but the one I use has been discontinued... you could always check their site for alternatives though, or just search for "free animation software" or something

Download.com is a great place to get freeware/trial software.

Since no one seems to have come up with anything, thought I would just have a quick go and wondered what people thought.

The speed of the hand seems quite slow, but my animation software won't really let me make it any faster without removing frames, which makes it look a bit too jerky.

Anyway, whatcha think?

I agree it should be shorter like this. I altered the original facepalm.gif with some open source software I have kicking around. Click the image, it opens another window to show the animation. Sorry I didn't bother with the upload to photobucket and paste link process, I'm lazy.

Gwar's one is almost there, but it is using a purely invisible background which does not reset after the yellow flash properly. Clean that up and it is done.

There ya go. Me being a total tool set the mode to Combine each frame rather than Replace >.<
