Nice models, particularly the hvy flamer. Those guys would make some pretty sweet Salamanders Sternguard veterans as well.

Well, I guess I'm in line for damning then, because I will definitely be picking up the Sergeant (Chaplain conversion, here we come!) and the Heavy Flamer, minimum!

May still have some of the ancient models hanging around. I have always liked LOTD. The perfect space marines, they come at critical moments then bugger off again.

I love the fluff, but £50 to get a 10 man squad of metal models.

GW must have paid a fortune to produce those minis, they must be made out of gold!!

I still want, I'll just wait and order them from wayland, or giftsforgeeks.

And of course Alpharius the only person who fields them as LotD.

The melta guy isnt to hot though. Head looks funny. Chaplain looks ace. And I love the flaming helmet grills. One of them is pointing his bolter like hes gonna fire it! He also has a collection of baby skulls on his leg, what a guy.

Overall looking good.

£56 for 11 marines!

I will still buy them though even though I don't use Imperial marines at the mo.

Yes, by combining the £20 box set with 2 lots of the £10 blisters and 1 £8 Heavy Weapon Blister, that's £48 for a squad of 10.

Kind of puts the Goldswords to shame doesn't it?

Think these should be labelled "Diamond Damned"

while i do like the sculpts (especially the sergeants banner and the skull beaky marine), the prices are too much. i skipped 4th edition so i remember when $35 was the retail price for 10 metal figs (like the old blood angels death co boxed set of 10), not for 5 sculpts.

Legion of the Too Damned Much Marines. Which is a real shame, because they are absolutely stunning. I'd love to use several for Angry Marines Black Brothers. Burning rage cooking their yellow armor black, and a fire obsession are perfectly reflected in these sculpts. Plus I'm sure they'd love to cover themselves with the bones of their enemies.
